Diddy Accused of Sodomizing Man After Telling Him “You’re About To Get That Diddy Love”

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing fresh legal trouble after being hit with yet another lawsuit.

A man named Brandon Adams filed a lawsuit accusing the embattled Hip-Hop mogul of sodomizing him at a 2021 house party in Los Angeles after allegedly hearing the phrase, “You’re about to get that Diddy love.”

The complaint, filed earlier this week, claims Adams met a driver at a gas station who invited him to a party at a private residence. Upon arrival, Adams says he was instructed to leave his phone in the vehicle.

According to the lawsuit, after consuming drinks that left him disoriented, Adams says he stumbled into an empty bedroom, passed out and later awoke to someone unbuckling his pants.

When he asked what was happening, he claims he heard a voice he believes was Diddy say, “You’re about to get that Diddy love.”

The alleged assault adds to a mounting list of legal battles for Combs, who is already the subject of a federal sex trafficking and racketeering case in Manhattan, alongside more than 30 civil lawsuits accusing him of sexual misconduct.

Combs has consistently denied all allegations. His legal team issued a statement saying, “No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor.”

The suits were filed shortly before prosecutors began delivering their closing arguments in Diddy’s federal trial.

Diddy Hit With Two New Additional Lawsuits This Week, One Involving Son Justin Combs

Tony Buzbee, the attorney representing Adams, said this lawsuit is one of three he filed this week involving alleged abuse tied to Combs.

One of the other cases involves another man who claims he was also invited to a Diddy-hosted event in Los Angeles and was “allegedly drugged and assaulted while there.”

The third lawsuit was filed by a 25-year-old woman who accuses both Diddy and his son Justin Combs of gang rape.

Buzbee said the claims in these lawsuits mirror those presented in the federal RICO case against Combs.

“As we have watched, we have learned a great deal that confirms what we believe to be a pattern of behavior and, given the testimony and other evidence we have seen, remain extremely confident in our efforts in the civil courts,” Buzbee said.

Man Arrested For Kendrick Lamar Halftime Show Protest In Support Of Palestinians

A man has been arrested almost five months after waving a Palestinian flag with “Gaza” and “Sudan” scrawled across it during Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show performance.

Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, a 41-year-old resident of New Orleans, was hired as a background performer for Kendrick Lamar.

He disrupted the February 9 show at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans by climbing atop a black Buick GNX and revealing the flag mid-performance.

He refused to follow the security’s commands and was quickly detained. The incident triggered an investigation by Troop NOLA Troopers, who identified Nantambu through internal review and surveillance footage.

An arrest warrant was issued by the Orleans Parish Criminal District Court.

On Thursday (June 26), Nantambu turned himself in through his attorney and was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center.

“The preliminary investigation revealed that during the halftime performance, a performer deviated from his assigned role, retrieved a Sudanese flag bearing the message ‘Sudan and Free Gaza’ and disrupted the halftime show by running across the field with the flag. Security and law enforcement personnel on site quickly recognized the unauthorized action and apprehended the performer after he refused to comply with their commands to stop,” police said in a statement.

He faces charges of resisting an officer and disturbing the peace by interruption of a lawful assembly.

The NFL permanently banned Nantambu from all league events. The protest took place during one of the most-watched Super Bowl halftime performances in recent history.

French Montana Storms Out Of Interview Over Drake, Rick Ross Question

French Montana cut his interview short and left the set of Sited with Rah Ali after being asked about the ongoing tension between Rick Ross and Drake, two of his longtime collaborators.

The abrupt exit unfolded during a recent taping of Rah Ali’s podcast, where the Hip-Hop artist appeared visibly irritated when the conversation shifted toward his personal life and the high-profile feud.

The interview was going smooth until French Montana, with the rapper revealing longtime associate Max B would be coming home on November 9, which is also French’s birthday.

When asked about his love life, French Montana somewhat dodged the question, but with a good explanation.

“I just want to keep my private life. My private life,” French Montana said. “I feel like every time it hit the media, it just, it was down to s### after that.”

When he was asked about the rift between Ross and Drake—French didn’t just refuse to answer, he suddenly excused himself.

“I’ll be right back I think I double parked my car outside,” he said before walking off-set. He never returned.

The moment added another layer to the already public tension surrounding the Ross-Drake fallout. Ali, clearly surprised, attempted to continue the show but acknowledged the awkwardness.

The Drake-Rick Ross feud, which ran parallel to the Canadian rap star’s beef with Kendrick Lamar, was one of Hip-Hop’s most talked-about conflicts last year, with diss tracks and social media jabs exchanged between the two former collaborators.

French Montana, who has worked closely with both artists, has largely stayed silent on the matter—until now, or instead, until his silence spoke volumes.

Kim Kardashian Takes A Dark Turn For “Bratz” Role

Kim Kardashian is stepping into the role of a villain for Amazon MGM’s upcoming live-action Bratz film, as the studio capitalizes on Hollywood’s toy-to-screen trend sparked by 2023’s Barbie.

The project is still in early development, but it is already drawing attention thanks to Kardashian’s casting and the enduring popularity of the Bratz brand, which has sold over 200 million dolls globally since its debut in 2001.

Kim Kardashian’s role marks a return to scripted acting following her stint on American Horror Story: Delicate as well as PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie and adds a new layer to her evolving entertainment portfolio.

Amazon MGM reportedly landed the rights to the film after a competitive bidding process, hoping to tap into the same cultural energy that made Barbie a box office juggernaut.

According to Variety, the Bratz dolls have maintained strong online engagement, making them a prime candidate for a cinematic revival. The film is being produced in collaboration with Picturestart and MGA Entertainment, the company behind the original dolls.

Writers Charlie Polinger and Lucy McKendrick are penning the script, while Erik Feig and Julia Hammer will produce under Picturestart.

No release date or additional casting details have been confirmed.

Diddy Sad During Four-Hour Closing Argument Painting Him As Leader Of A Criminal Enterprise, Who Beat, Controlled & Urinated On Victims

Diddy sat stone-faced in a New York federal courtroom Thursday (June 26) as prosecutors delivered a blistering four-hour closing argument, accusing the Hip-Hop mogul of orchestrating a sprawling criminal enterprise built on coercion, violence and control.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Christy Slavik described Diddy as the undisputed leader of a network that enabled sex trafficking, drug distribution and physical abuse, all to maintain his power and status.

“He didn’t allow the word ‘no,'” Slavik told the jury, laying out a case that has unfolded over 31 days and included testimony from 34 witnesses.

The government’s narrative centered on two women—Cassie Ventura and a woman identified only as Jane—who prosecutors say were manipulated, abused and trafficked across state and international lines.

The prosecution alleged Diddy used his wealth and influence to isolate and dominate them, often with the help of close associates.

Slavik pointed to a 2016 incident at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, where Diddy allegedly beat Ventura and then paid $100,000 in cash to suppress surveillance footage.

Prosecutors said his chief of staff, Kristina Khorram and longtime bodyguard, D-Roc, helped count the money. The motive, Slavik said, was simple: public exposure would “ruin him.”

The government also accused Diddy of using drugs, including liquid Molly, to control Jane and force her into what were described as “freak-offs” and “Wild King Knights”—sex parties involving multiple partners and paid escorts.

Prosecutors said Diddy threatened to release explicit videos of Jane to her child’s famous rapper father if she refused to participate.

Khorram was portrayed as a key player in the alleged enterprise, responsible for sending drugs and cash to Diddy across the country. Prosecutors argued that these actions, along with the use of cellphones and interstate travel for sex workers, violated federal commerce laws.

The trial also revisited a 2009 incident where Diddy allegedly beat Ventura and confined her to a hotel room until her injuries healed, which they said proved kidnapping.

Prosecutors said he later demanded $20,000 from her family after learning she was romantically involved with rapper Kid Cudi. That same month, Diddy moved $3.2 million through one of his accounts, according to financial records presented in court, so he didn’t need the money – it was all about control.

Slavik claimed Diddy was behind the torching of Kid Cudi’s car, calling it a calculated act of intimidation. Capricorn Clark, one of Diddy’s former assistants, testified that she was ordered to track down Cudi—another act prosecutors labeled as kidnapping.

The government argued that Diddy’s business empire functioned like a kingdom, with young, eager employees willing to procure drugs or sex workers to stay in his favor.

Prosecutors said the abuse extended beyond the women to their families, all to reinforce Diddy’s control.

Diddy’s defense is expected to begin closing arguments tomorrow, June 27 and the jury could begin deliberations.

“We’re actually working on the remix right now,” Campbell announced. “I’ve been producing, and I’ll be on some other tracks and having fun with music.”

Earlier this month, Campbell appeared in the music video for “Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved.” The track appears on Cyrus’s album, Something Beautiful.

The song marked a rare return to music for Campbell, who hadn’t released new material since her 1994 debut album Baby Woman.

In an interview with Dazed, Naomi Campbell opened up about the collaboration. “For me, it’s just fun to be able to do something like this, which is not my day job. To be able to be a part of this with [Miley] is an honor, a pleasure, it’s fun. I can play it for my kids one day and say, ‘Look! Mummy did this’. My kids love music.”

Campbell’s first and only album, Baby Woman, was released in October 1994 through Epic Records.

Though it failed to chart in the U.S. and peaked at No. 75 in the UK, the album sold over one million copies globally, thanks largely to strong sales in Japan

From Studio to Startup: Rappers Building Tech-Driven Brands

In the hip-hop genre, it’s incredibly common for rappers to pursue business ventures. Just look at Jay-Z, who became the industry’s first billionaire thanks not only to his music but also to his diverse business ventures. However, he’s not the only rapper to achieve business success; he’s just the best-known.

Many artists explore and demonstrate their skills well beyond the studio by entering the business world. Increasingly, rappers are moving out of ventures that are directly related to the music industry, like starting their own record label or talent agency. Instead, they’re entering into the world of tech, which has countless opportunities, whether investing in a startup, founding their own tech brand, or partnering with one.

Read on as we explore a few of the many rappers making waves in tech-based industries. We’ll also look at the role of digital branding and the increasing demand for interactive and immersive experiences that resonate with individual user preferences.

The Meeting of Music and Entrepreneurship

The financial power that successful rappers hold enables them to dive into ventures they truly believe in and that they hope will make an impact beyond music. They leverage the credibility and trust they’ve built with their fans and use this to propel their ventures forward. Some stand-out examples of rappers who are excelling in the tech-based business space include Chamillionaire, Nas, will.i.am, and Timbaland.

Chamillionaire

In 2015, Chamillionaire became the entrepreneur in residence for Upfront Ventures, a Los Angeles venture capital firm with a focus on digital media and SaaS startups. He has also shaped an invite-only investment firm called Access 12, focused on supporting Black startups, though its investments extend beyond just digital startups. In 2017, he launched Convoz, a video-based app that encourages people to share their thoughts and opinions on meaningful subjects. People then share them on the app to inspire others, including celebrities, to respond and start important conversations.

Nas

Nas has leveraged his music fame to help him become a prolific Silicon Valley investor. He formed his own venture capital firm, QueensBridge Venture Partners. Through this firm, he invests in a range of tech start-ups, including those in healthcare, fintech, and crypto. Nas’s investments through the firm have included Silicon Valley success stories like Lyft, Dropbox, and Coinbase.

will.i.am

In 2012, will.i.am, of Black Eyed Peas fame, founded the consumer tech company i.am+. It emphasizes developing tech that will shape the music industry and have ripple effects across pop culture. The company is now heavily invested in AI to achieve its mission.

Timbaland

Timbaland, like many hip-hop artists, has incorporated music production into his career and became a cofounder of Beatclub, a music creator platform. While he has stayed firmly in the music world, his latest business venture has been controversial. Most recently, Timbaland has branched into newer tech, with the launch of his AI-centric entertainment company Stage Zero. The company has launched its own AI artist, TaTa, and is expected to create multiple AI artists as the company grows. It’s these artists and the use of AI to create music that’s causing the controversy.

The Rise of the Digital Personal Brand

Rappers like Chamillionaire, Nas, and Timbaland have large audience bases from the success of their music careers. This, undoubtedly, sets them up for success as they begin their business ventures and grow awareness around them. They’ve established a presence in the media and online through avenues like social media that allow them to amplify their personal brands, and through that, their new business ventures.

Through their:

  • social media,
  • email, and
  • website presence,

these rappers can communicate directly with their audience.

There, they can broadcast the latest developments and share them as part of their overall personal brand. They can create branded content around their new ventures that helps them get their ideas off the ground. Essentially, they monetize their content and online presence to get attention and excitement around their persona that goes far beyond promoting their music by also promoting their business ventures.

The Fusion of Music and Entertainment: iGaming and Interactive Culture

Thanks to developing tech, the way rappers maintain and grow their audience through digital-first personal branding hasn’t been the only evolution. Music and entertainment are more closely intertwined than ever, since music tracks are no longer reserved for the soundtrack of movies and shows.

Today, gaming is fused with hip-hop hits, aesthetics, and slang to appeal to player demographics who listen to rap and are immersed in its culture. In some cases, games and platforms are built around artists and their unique personas to gain attention. You can find examples of this genre coming to life in video games (like Grand Theft Auto) and even in the iGaming industry with new slots and other casino games.

The rapper leading the charge in this arena is Snoop Dogg, who partnered with the online gambling platform Roobet in 2023 to become its “Chief Ganjaroo.” Roobet gets to benefit from Snoop Dogg’s global reach—including through his personal brand on social media—and speak directly to his fanbase with branded platform features like:

  • Snoop Dogg Dollars
  • Snoop’s High Rollers
  • HotBox

They create an immersive experience for his fans, complete with voiceovers from Snoop himself and custom soundtracks.

The fusion of music and gaming creates an interactive experience with the genre, in which players aren’t just selecting a song and listening; their interactions with the game cause the music to respond to their actions. This level of personal interaction is not only growing in demand across entertainment experiences, but also helps business ventures, like partnering with Snoop Dogg, take off.

Why Rappers Are Thriving as Digital Entrepreneurs

While it’s hard to pinpoint exactly what drives so many rappers to try their hand at business, it’s easy to see why the rappers who take these business gambles find success. Determination and dedication play key roles. It takes a determined mindset, along with an unwavering commitment to the process and the work, to succeed in the competitive music industry and to make it in business. But there are also other factors at play—like having a loyal fanbase, being authentic to their personal brand, and having the funding to draw from.

A loyal fan base can help rappers launch their business, but if it doesn’t align with the personal brand they’ve built with these fans, it will do more harm than good. The rappers who are excelling in digital entrepreneurship are doing so because they’ve carefully aligned their business with themselves and how their audience perceives them. For instance, Chamillionaire’s venture capital firm and the steps that led him there were all rooted in problems he saw while starting in the music industry, like piracy, and wanting to understand what could be done. It was a natural growth that moved alongside the development of his brand.

We also can’t forget that rappers who are moving into business ventures are doing so with the success of their music careers financially supporting them. This opens up many doors, enabling them to take more risks and to support their ventures when and where needed.

The hip-hop genre has always pushed limits, challenging artists and inspiring their listeners, so it’s no surprise that its artists do the same in their business ventures. The focus on digital brands is helping to bring new startups and ideas to the forefront in such a powerful way that the next tech brand to shake up daily lives might not be from Silicon Valley—it might be emerging from a music studio.

Butterfly Blossom Slot Review

PG Soft’s Butterfly Blossom is a visually stunning nature-based gaming experience that entices users by way of intricate animations and innovative mechanics. The medium volatility slot is an example of the developer’s focus on mobile design with related features crafted to cater to casual gamers and professional players. A play of the demo slot PG Butterfly Blossom reinforces the fact that the game integrates sophisticated gameplay features in soothing butterfly garden imagery that creates a life-like gaming atmosphere.

Released in March 2022, Butterfly Blossom is the signature of PG Soft’s ability to create visually appealing games with smooth performance on multiple device platforms. The 5×3 reel set and 20 paylines of the slot guarantee easy-to-understand gameplay mechanics combined with complex bonus features that keep the player entertained throughout extended periods of play.

Visual Design and Atmospheric Elements

The game transports players to a peaceful butterfly garden within lush flora and peaceful water features. Symbol graphics forego traditional playing card symbols for stunning flower varieties like roses, tulips, dahlias, and bluebells that create a realistic botanical atmosphere. All the symbols display meticulous attention with petals, leaves, and color transitions beautifully crafted in high definition that maintains visual integrity at different screen resolutions.

Background animations have some movement, which adds to the immersive experience without causing distractions in the gameplay. Sunlight filters through leaves, water ripples on the pond slightly, and fluttering butterflies from time to time give life to the static reels. These atmospheric moments show how PG Soft is keen on developing full gaming environments instead of mere spinning mechanisms.

Sound design also adds to visual elements with soothing nature sounds, soft musical background, and nice audio effects for winning and bonuses. The sound never overpowers, leaving the slot quiet but still providing crucial gameplay information through clear sound indicators.

Unique Transmuting Wild Gimmick

Butterfly Blossom’s distinct feature is its transmuting wild feature that emulates butterfly lifecycle stages in nature. Wild symbols initially manifest as caterpillar symbols that appear in winning combinations before they transform into cocoon symbols. The cocoons transform into beautiful butterflies when part of the subsequent wins.

Every transmutation stage has unique benefits:

  • Caterpillar Stage: Acts as normal wild, substitutes regular symbols
  • Cocoon Stage: Sticks for one additional spin
  • Butterfly Stage: Drops +5 to rightmost multiplier before disappearing

The growth mechanic creates tension as the players watch wilds go through their life cycle, acquiring massive multiplier values due to ongoing winnings. The feature is enhancing strategy without compromising the integrity of the slot game’s nature theme.

Free Spins and Multiplier Boost

Spinning three scatter symbols on the reels anywhere triggers the free spins bonus feature, initially awarding eight free spins with higher multiplier values. During this feature, the base game multipliers 1x, 2x, 3x, and 5x are enhanced to 3x, 6x, 9x, and 15x respectively.

Free spins additional scatters contribute more to the feature:

  • One scatter: +2 additional spins
  • Two scatters: +3 additional spins
  • Three scatters: +8 additional spins

The combination of the wilds turning plus wilds and more substantial multipliers in free spin leads to big rewards, with the +5 bonus on the butterfly wild proving particularly helpful combined with the 15x top multiplier.

Casino sites with Butterfly Blossom tend to present it in conjunction with other PG Soft offerings, where players can get used to the similar themes while experiencing the difference in mechanics. Slots such as demo slot PG Mafia Mayhem and demo slot PG Soft Lucky Neko reflect the variety the developer can create across themes and volatility to enable players to determine their gaming choice prior to using actual money.

Final Assessment

Butterfly Blossom performs as an enticing eyesore and fun slot machine, with groundbreaking features wrapped in idyllic natural themes. Although the highest potential win of 7,125x doesn’t look nearly as massive as some volatility-optimized choices, the consistent hit rate of the game and the generous RTP provide value for players seeking well-balanced gaming sessions.

The revolutionary wild mechanic separates Butterfly Blossom from other nature-themed slots, creating new gameplay experiences that reward players with long periods of play. PG Soft has developed a game that will appeal to players who appreciate both the aesthetic value and the mechanical novelty in slot gaming choice.

Scott Storch Calls The Roots “Haters” Says They Never Appreciated Him

Scott Storch revisited his early days with The Roots during a recent interview where he aired out long-standing frustrations and said he walked away from the group because he felt “very underappreciated.”

The veteran producer made the remarks to conservative entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David on his “PBD Podcast.”

“I started in The Roots and did a lot of stuff for them,” Storch began. “I was the guy who, again, came up with a lot of the nucleus of what that s### was, and I left the group and was told that I was like the Pete Best of The Roots.”

Pete Best, often referred to as the “forgotten Beatle,” was famously replaced just before The Beatles reached global superstardom.

Storch compared his exit to that moment, claiming his departure wasn’t just professional—it hit him personally.

Storch, who joined The Roots in the early 1990s as a keyboardist, said he couldn’t continue touring with a group that didn’t value his contributions.

“I’m not going to go on the road with a bunch of guys that don’t appreciate me and be like, ‘That’s the white guy who plays keys in The Roots’,” he said. “No, I’m the f###### guy coming up with all the s###.”

He also said he was subjected to racial insults. “They call me the white devil,” he claimed. “I’m like the most harmonious, loving, nonracist person ever and it just hurt me.”

Storch claimed that even after he left in the mid-1990s, some members of The Roots mocked him for working with Dr. Dre.

“They were like, ‘Ah, you working with Dre 10 years too late, bro. Good luck,'” he said.

Nonetheless, Storch said and Dre “went on the run of runs” and claimed The Roots were “haters.”

While Bet-David tried to dismiss The Roots by asking, “What happened to those guys?” Storch acknowledged their continued relevance.

“I’m not trying to just dog them,” he said, pointing out their longstanding role as the house band on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Social Media Users React To Scott Storch’s Remarks About The Roots Comments

Clips from the interview circulated online, drawing mixed reactions.

One person wrote, “This is why everyone shouldn’t be allowed into the culture. His beef with them being played out in front of old white men that could care less about hip hop, is disrespectful. Alchemist would never.”

Another added, “No shade on him – but The Roots are STILL the greatest Hip Hop Band in history – with him or without – They’re doing just fine.”

Others still referenced the recent controversy surrounding his ex. However, Storch did not address his ex-girlfriend’s viral racist rant or the backlash over his public support of Donald Trump during the interview.

In addition to their talkshow slot, The Roots continue to perform live, with recent concerts and appearances. The group also hosts their own annual music festival, The Roots Picnic, launched in 2008.

Furthermore, last year Questlove hinted The Roots are set to drop their first album in over a decade later this year.

Selena Gomez’s Childhood Rapper Crush Comes Back Around—Through His Son

Selena Gomez confessed her earliest celebrity crush was none other than Ice Cube during a lighthearted moment on Complex’s GOAT Talk with Karol G, steering the conversation away from rap legends to childhood infatuations.

“But can I tell you my first one that I had a crush on? Ice Cube,” Gomez said when asked to name her greatest rapper of all time.

“I had the biggest crush on him. I was, like, five. It’s so weird, but I just thought he would protect me,” she added. “I’m only saying it simply based on my childhood.”

The actress and singer also gave a nod to Eminem, crediting her DJ father for introducing her to his music early on, but made it clear that Ice Cube was her first crush.

Elsewhere in the interview, Gomez crowned Destiny’s Child’s “Bills Bills Bills” as her GOAT “bad b#### anthem” and skipped over past collaborators to name Ariana Grande as the artist she’d most like to work with in the future.

She also labeled Britney Spears the GOAT pop star and shared that her first concert ever was a Britney show.

Ice Cube’s Son Has Soft Spot For Selena Gomez

While Ice Cube has not responded to Selena Gomez, his son O’Shea Jackson Jr. has had a few things to say about Gomez in the past and has been crushing over her for over a decade.

“Just saw Selena Gomez’s Pantene pro-v commercial,” he tweeted in 2015. “I don’t know bout you Selena but let’s make these babies.”

The same year, a fan joked about an Ice Cube and Taylor Swift collab after they posed together backstage during the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

“Long as Selena there I’m good,” he joked.

Jackson publicly praised Gomez as recently as 2023, stating “Lose you to love me by Selena Gomez. Is still F##### amazing.”

Unfortunately for Jackson, Selena Gomez is now engaged to Benny Blanco.

Will Smith Warns What Happens When “You Disrespect Me On The Stage” In Blistering Freestyle

Will Smith didn’t hold back during a surprise freestyle on Charlie Sloth’s “Fire in the Booth” earlier this week in the U.K., dropping some scathing bars that appear to take direct aim at Chris Rock and the infamous Oscars slap.

The rapper-turned-actor delivered a sharp verse that referenced the 2022 Academy Awards incident without naming names.

“If you talking crazy out your face up on the stage and disrespect me on the stage, expect me on the stage,” he rhymed before following up with, “Jokers dish it out, cry out when it’s time to take it, City full of real ones wasn’t raised to fake it.”

The freestyle isn’t the first time Smith has addressed the Oscars drama through music. He also referenced the controversy on his latest project, Based On A True Story.

The moment in question happened during the 94th Academy Awards in March 2022, when Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head.

Smith walked on stage, slapped Rock, and yelled, “Keep my wife’s name out your f**king mouth!”

Will Smith Reflects On Chris Rock Drama

Earlier this month, Smith opened up about the emotional toll the incident took on him during an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Remi Burgz.

“The last few years for me have been really deep reflection,” he said. “After the Oscars, I shut it down for a minute and really went into the internal work and just taking a big, strong, honest look at myself.”

He added, “For the first time in my career, (I was) having to deal with a level of disapproval that I never had to experience. The addiction to the approval of others that I had to dissolve, it was brutal.”

Smith also reflected on how the slap forced him to confront parts of himself he hadn’t previously explored.

“It was just like there was a manhole cover over some unexplored areas and the manhole cover came off,” he explained. “It was scary for a minute what was in there.”

50 Cent Rejects Zohran Mamdani’s Millionaire Tax Proposal: “I’m Telling Trump”

50 Cent fired back at Zohran Mamdani after the New York City mayoral hopeful name-dropped the rapper while pitching a tax hike on millionaires during a recent radio interview.

During a stop on “The Breakfast Club” earlier this month, Mamdani laid out his plan to raise taxes on corporations and the top 1% of earners in the city.

“Corporations that are making millions of dollars, not in revenue, but in profit,” he said. “The second is taxing the top 1% of New Yorkers. We’re talking about people who make a million dollars a year or more, taxing them just by a flat 2% tax increase.”

Then came the jab aimed at the Hip-Hop mogul. “And I know if 50 Cent is listening, he’s not going to be happy about this. He tends to not like this tax policy,” Mamdani added.

The G-Unit boss didn’t let that slide. On Instagram, 50 Cent posted a clip of Mamdani’s comments.

“Where did he come from. Whose friend is this?” he captioned the post. “I’m not feeling this plan no. I will give him $258,750 and a first class one way ticket away from NY. I’m telling Trump what he said too !”

50 Cent Catches Heat Over Response To Zohran Mamani

The post quickly racked up thousands of comments, with a few agreeing with 50’s take but many others pushing back.

“I must be broke because all I hear is him helping the middle lower class. Everybody in the comment is complaining must be a millionaire,” one user wrote.

Another added, “50 you didn’t do s### for NYC. Don’t be mad at someone who did.”

“He’s actually fighting for all you broke n##### in the chat. Do your research on him,” someone else chimed in.

Mamdani, a 33-year-old democratic socialist and current state assemblyman, pulled off a major upset earlier this week by defeating former Governor Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic primary for New York City mayor.

With 93% of precincts reporting, Mamdani led with 44% of the vote, while Cuomo trailed at 36%. Cuomo conceded, saying, “Tonight belongs to him.”

If Mamdani wins in November, he will become the first Muslim and Indian American to serve as mayor of New York City.

His campaign has focused on sweeping progressive reforms, including free public transit, universal childcare, rent freezes in subsidized housing, city-run grocery stores and a higher minimum wage — all funded by increased taxes on the wealthy.

The general election is scheduled for November 5.

That Mexican OT Issues Emotional Apology After Sauce Walka Checks Him Over N-Word Remarks

That Mexican OT issued a public apology on Instagram Wednesday night (June 25) after being called out by Sauce Walka and others over his use of the N-word and a defiant response that many saw as disrespectful.

The Texas rapper came under fire after a recent interview clip circulated where he defended his use of the racial slur.

“I feel like I can say it,” he said. “What the f### are you going to do about it?” The comment, delivered with a confrontational tone, ignited backlash across social media.

After a week of criticism, That Mexican OT took to Instagram Stories to respond to a post from his friend, Denver rapper Tr3fonc, who said he “lost a lot of respect” for him.

OT replied with a message of remorse:

“I’m sorry cuzin,” he began, adding that he had given a “stupid answer” to a “stupid question.”

He explained, “I meant it deeper then the word cuzin I coulda said anything and I would stand on it for my beliefs being strong strictly no hate or ill in my heart.”

That Mexican OT concluded with an apology.

“I gotta alotta love for my brother and sister hood man,” he wrote. “Blessings and I’m sorry to hurt my people I hope yall can forgive me.”

In a follow-up post, he reflected on the personal toll the controversy had taken, particularly the strain on his longtime friendship with Tr3fonc:

“S### f##### me up I lost one of them,” he wrote. I’m sorry to anyone I’ve offended of any race or belief Thank yu to everyone who still here.”

Sauce Walka Backtracks After Defending That Mexican OT

Initially, Sauce Walka had defended OT, calling the backlash “ignorance at its finest.”

However, after watching the full interview, he reversed course and addressed the situation in a video posted to Instagram.

“B####, you wrong, hoe!” he said. “I’mma tell you why you wrong little bro.”

Walka clarified that his issue wasn’t just OT’s explanation for using the word but the aggressive way he challenged others in the room, which he said was full of women.

“That’s where you f##### up, brother. That’s where the disrespect is,” Walka said. He added that OT wouldn’t have made the same statement in a room full of Black men.

That Mexican OT responded in the comments with a short reply: “I love yu I ain’t mad. Thank yu.”

Cardi B Snaps Over Decision To Keep “Up” & “WAP” On New Album

Cardi B fired back at critics Wednesday (June 25) after revealing that her chart-topping singles “WAP” and “Up” will be featured on her long-awaited sophomore album Am I the Drama?, due out September 19, 2025.

The Bronx rapper took to X to shut down backlash over including the two hits, both of which were released years ago.

“This will be the last and only time I’m gonna address this. ‘WAP’ and ‘Up’ are two of my biggest songs, my fans have been asking me to put them on an album.. they deserve a home,” she wrote.

“WAP,” her 2020 collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and broke streaming records in its first week. The track spent four weeks at the top and became a cultural lightning rod.

“Up,” released in 2021, also reached No. 1 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance.

Despite their success, Cardi admitted that she had previously held back from submitting “WAP” for Grammy consideration due to outside pressure.

“I let haters make me not submit WAP for the Grammy’s and at this point I’m giving my fans what they want! These two songs don’t even count for first week sales so what are yall even crying about???” she said.

She didn’t stop there. Addressing accusations of using old hits to boost album numbers, Cardi added, “Do ya say anything when all these artist pull out all their little tricks and ponies to sell out??? Exactly….Now let them eat cake. Go cry about it!!!”

The 23-track album Am I the Drama? arrives seven years after her debut, Invasion of Privacy, which won Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammys.

The new project features a mix of club anthems, pop-infused records, introspective cuts and surprise guest features. Am I the Drama? will be released on September 19, 2025.

Donald Trump Branded The World’s “Daddy” After NATO Leader’s Unbelievable Comment

Donald Trump became the center of yet another surreal moment at the 2025 NATO summit in The Hague when NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte referred to him as “daddy” while discussing his blunt handling of the Israel-Iran conflict.

The unexpected comment followed President Trump’s outburst during a press conference on Tuesday (June 24), when he dropped an F-bomb while comparing the two Middle Eastern nations to unruly children.

“Daddy has to sometimes use strong language to get them to stop,” Rutte said, referring to President Trump’s profanity-laced rebuke aimed at both Israel and Iran.

Donald Trump, never one to miss a moment, responded with a grin during a press conference.

“I think he likes me. I think he likes me. If he doesn’t, I’ll let you know. I’ll come back, and I’ll hit him hard. Okay? ‘Daddy, you’re my daddy,'” Donald Trump said as Secretary of State Marco Rubio laughed behind him.

The comment drew laughter in the room but also raised eyebrows among diplomats.

Rutte later clarified he wasn’t literally calling Donald Trump “daddy” but was poking fun at how some European countries look to the U.S. for leadership.

While the exchange played well for the cameras, not everyone was amused. Several European officials, speaking privately, described the moment as “over the top” and “submissive,” with one diplomat telling Reuters the display “didn’t help the seriousness of the summit.”

The summit itself focused heavily on preventing further escalation in the Middle East, with NATO leaders urging restraint and diplomacy.

Donald Trump’s remarks, both in tone and content, dominated headlines and distracted from the summit’s broader goals.

Amina Buddafly Said She’s Homeless—Peter Gunz Has Something To Say

Amina Buddafly revealed that she and her daughters are without a permanent home after losing their Los Angeles residence and fleeing to Germany to stay with family.

The revelation prompted a public response from Peter Gunz, who says he’s still financially supporting them.

The former Love & Hip Hop: New York star took to Instagram to share an emotional update about her living situation.

“Day one, waking up in Germany after losing our home in LA. We don’t have a home, y’all. Thank God for family, because we’re in Germany with my family. We’re going to be here ’til I figure it out. I will, as I always do. The last couple of years have been so rough,” Amina Buddafly said.

Buddafly, who shares two daughters with Gunz, added that she parted ways with most of her belongings before leaving the U.S.

“I threw my whole life in the trash. 80% of what we owned, and I didn’t own anything valuable anyway, to begin with,” she said. “It feels good to not have much but have what’s important, which is love.”

The post quickly gained traction, prompting Peter Gunz to respond via Instagram Live. The Bronx rapper said he’s still involved in their lives and claimed he offered Buddafly his apartment in Dallas, which she turned down.

“I have an apartment in Dallas. I said, ‘Amina, just go stay in Dallas. Right? [She said] ‘What am I going to do in Dallas?’ Live rent-free? Swim? Chill for a little bit; give me a breather because I can’t pay rent at multiple places.”

Peter Gunz didn’t deny that Buddafly is currently staying in Germany but emphasized that he continues to provide for their children. The rapper said he felt betrayed because he never stopped sending her money and that she was not literally homeless.

“I send Amina thousands every month. She will get on here and tell you, too. It’s just that she wasn’t able to hold her side of the s### up. So I let her go, but I had no idea that she was going to leave the world, thinking that she was homeless. I bought her a round-trip ticket. They come back on the 23rd of August. I got the Airbnb in LA. I was going to pay that up for a couple of months. Why tell the world? I feel a little betrayed, in a way, because she knows I would never, that could never be me. It makes me look crazy. Saying on there, ‘Thank God for my family in Germany.’ I’m the only one that was giving her money monthly.”

Peter Gunz and Amina Buddafly had a turbulent relationship, to put it mildly and their drama played out for years on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop franchise.

While Buddafly has not responded to Peter Gunz’s latest remarks, her original post made it clear she’s focused on rebuilding.

She did not specify how long she plans to remain in Germany or what her next steps will be.

50 Cent Offers Tia Kemp A Wendy Williams-Style Show To Spite Rick Ross

50 Cent used Instagram to stir the pot between himself and Rick Ross by offering Ross’ ex, Tia Kemp, a shot at daytime TV stardom, suggesting she could step into the shoes of Wendy Williams.

The move doubled as a backhanded compliment to Kemp’s unfiltered social media presence and a direct hit at Ross, with whom 50 has traded barbs for almost 20 years.

The Hip-Hop mogul posted a video of Tia Kemp’s recent online rant and captioned it with a pitch that felt half-serious and fully petty: “yo I like Tia, 🤔I think she should replace Wendy Williams. LETS MAKE A DEAL !.”

Tia Kemp, who shares a son with Ross, has never held back when addressing their co-parenting issues or anything else for that matter. The rant 50 posted featured Tia denying she was a “cougar” or any other type of animal.

“Please, stop calling me a cat. Please, stop calling me a cougar. Someone in my DMs today called me a thundercat. You call me jaguars. You call me cats. You just constantly calling me a feline. I’m not a furball,” Tia Kemp said in the clip.

In the last month, she went viral for calling out Diddy’s friends for not supporting him during his sex trafficking and racketeering trial and denying she was having sex on a boat with rapper DDG.

The rivalry between 50 Cent and Ross dates back to the late 2000s and has included diss tracks, lawsuits and social media jabs.

This latest stunt falls in line with 50 Cent’s history of using humor and trolling to keep his adversaries off balance.

Whether he’s serious about producing a talk show for Tia Kemp or just using her to needle Rick Ross, the message was loud and clear, especially since he’s ramping up his G-Unit production studios in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Fat Joe Reacts To “Crooked” Attorney Tyrone Blackburn’s Arrest Amid Lawsuit Scandal

Fat Joe has issued a statement via Instagram following the Wednesday morning (June 25) arrest of Tyrone Blackburn, the attorney representing the man suing the Terror Squad rapper.

Taking to the social media platform just hours after the news broke, Joe vowed to take further action against Blackburn, who filed a damning lawsuit on behalf of Joe’s former hype man Terrance Dixon.

“I’ve been tested the last few months—I’ve lost my big brother, my father, my mother and now I’m fighting against these disgusting lies,” he began. “But please know I will not break and I will NEVER back down. I’ve had individuals in my circle take my love and kindness for weakness, but how many times must we forgive them? I’ve had people steal from me, grow jealous of me, lie on me. Through it all, me and my family are the ones stuck dealing with the consequences of their decisions.”

He continued, “If you get fired for doing something wrong, just take the L and live with it. But instead, they plot on your downfall as they watch you move on with your life. They decide to go after one of the things you value the most—your reputation. They figure they can make up the most insane stories and, if they threaten you with a lawsuit, then you’ll pay and they’ll feel like they finally won.”

Fat Joe continued his statement with a commitment to taking Blackburn to court.

“Problem with your theory, I’ve never let anyone on the streets extort me, so how would I ever let a crooked attorney and a coward ex-hype man extort me? I’m from the Bronx! Mr. Tyrone Blackburn attorney at law since you want the clout, we will finish you in court. The time of lawyers using their law license as a badge to extort people and destroy families with no evidence is over!!! I’m not the one!! You’ve messed with the wrong one this time!!”

Blackburn has been charged with second-degree assault for allegedly hitting a process server with his car while trying to avoid being served with a lawsuit tied to the rapper.

The incident stems from an April 2025 lawsuit filed by Fat Joe against Blackburn and Dixon. The suit accuses the pair of extortion, defamation and emotional distress after they demanded money for alleged songwriting and vocal contributions and later threatened to smear Joe with disturbing claims.
