After surprising fans with the release of his latest album ‘Psycadelik Thoughtz’B.o.B joins DJ Skee to discuss the making of the project on SKEE TV.

B.o.B. describes the album cover art as originally being “a narcissistic ode” to himself, to get painted like a “multi-faceted God.” After seeing it, however he said he felt that it was a great representation of his musical versatility and eventually led the mixtape to turn into an album.

Paris: “Obama Is White Supremacy In Blackface” & “Trump Is Authentically An A######”

PARIS ALLHIPHOP interview

Paris doesn’t mince words for anybody and Pistol Politics, his latest album, continues in a decades-old legacy of musical speech that directly addresses the ills in the African American community as well as the scoundrel of White Supremacy. The Bay-area rapper returns with a vengeance on his newest effort, which is a double album that features E-40, dead prez, T-K.A.S.H. and others .

AllHipHop’s hour-long talk with Paris was full of humdingers and jagged pills. In the this clip, Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur asks P-Dog about George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump and the entertainment factor of politic in the United States of America. “I think a lot of people wanted Obama to be more than he was, obviously. I think it was very easy for us to assign our agenda to the blank slate that Obama put out. Obama is like silly putty – he can be whatever you want him to be,” Paris says. “…But he’s really White Supremacy in blackface that lets the medicine go down that much smoother.” More to come from this interview.

Would Wale Take His Own Life If He Doesn’t Reach A Certain Level Of Success?

Wale hasn’t reached the level of success that he would like to reach or the level we think he is capable of reaching. Wale recently sat down with The Breakfast Club and shared that he doesn’t feel his latest album, ‘The Album About Nothing,’ was given enough attention by his label, Atlantic Records, and he explained it didn’t resonate with younger fans either because he chose to have it narrated by Jerry Seinfield and not a “Kevin Hart.” When asked by Charlamagne, “What if you don’t ever achieve the level of success that some of your peers have?,” Wale replied saying,

“Simple, I’d blow my brains out one day. I can’t inspire nobody if I don’t believe what I’m saying, and I won’t believe what I’m saying until I obtain the level of success.”

We hope this was a joke. We also hope Wale obtains the level of success he’s striving for, that he talks to someone asap, and that it never gets this bad.

Fan Confuses A$AP Rocky With What Rapper?

Photo via A$AP Rocky’s Tumblr

Do we all look alike? A$AP Rocky decided to poke a little harmless fun at a fan recently on Twitter. A young lady was under the impression that she just bumped into A$AP Rocky in NYC. A$AP informed her that he was actually in London, and said it was probably Travis Scott that she saw. The humor in it all is that Travis Scott hates when someone confuses the two.

Wale Speaks On Gays In Rap, The Meek Mill Vs. Drake Beef And More (VIDEO)

Wale brought his unfiltered, fiery opinions to his The Breakfast Club.

During their convo, the “The Body” rapper touched on being gay in the music industry. He said he feels like an openly gay rapper could be successful in the game despite their sexuality.

“I would sign a gay rapper if he was dope.,” he said. “It’s 2015. All that homophobic stuff is corny.” He added, “It’a an advantage to be gay in this country right now. Frank Ocean is a very dope artist. He got pushed to the moon when his album dropped. There were about 30 artists who sold about the amount that he did or more and they didn’t get none of that. He got a prime spot at the Grammys. All these things happened for him.”

The D.C spitter also spoke about his latest album, The Album About Nothing, which he said he feels wasn’t given enough attention by his label, Atlantic Records.  The project was narrated by comedian Jerry Seinfeld which he said he knows affected the way it resonated with young fans.

“I know if it was Kevin Hart it would’ve been received a lot better,” he said. “It wasn’t really about [Seinfeld] though. It was about the philosophies that he was bestowing upon me.”

Wale also gave his opinion on the beef between Drake and MMG brethren Meek Mill. He said called Drizzy on Twitter wasn’t a good look nor he did he hold his own during the battle.

“I honestly think he brought a pencil to a gun fight,” Wale said about Meek’s part in the battle. “You can’t compete with somebody who [has those] types of relationships…He could have wrote ‘Ether 3.0.’ The opinions of the people would have been that of their boy from Canada waxed him.”

New Tell-All Claims Rihanna Rumors With Jay Z Almost Ruined His Relationship With Beyonce

Photo via Beyonce’s Tumblr

According to Radar Online, there is a tell-all on the way titled ‘Becoming Beyonce’ by celebrity journalist J. Randy Taraborrelli. Taraborrelli claims that Bey and Jay Z began fighting over her obsessive dedication to her work back in 2005, and her obsession with her work put a wedge in between her and Jay as it caused her to become defensive and moody when she was overwhelmed with pressure. Allegedly the couple took a break in ’05, and this is when rumors began to swirl that Jay Z was romancing Rihanna, who was 17 at the time. Allegedly Jay made up scandalous stories to attract attention to Rihanna’s career. Whether the hook up was true or not, Taraborrelli claims that Bey believed the gossip. The author also claims that the infamous elevator battle between Jay Z and Solange was over Jay’s suggestion that they attend a party hosted by Rihanna. There have been rumors that Beyonce doesn’t care for Rihanna, and that Rihanna has been the other woman for years, however I don’t remember if we’ve ever heard that the rumors surrounding Jay and Ri were fabricated to help her career. What are your thoughts?
