Young Thug Has a Problem With Plies

Once again, the use of social media has affected the lives or two rappers. This time, rappers Plies is under some heat after posting a brief clip of Young Thug’s daughter on Instagram. The clip was Thugga’s daughter repeatedly saying “I’m Motherf*ckin Tired”, with Plies following the clip up with his caption “(CURRENT MOOD) “I’m Muthafuckin Tied” (Not Tired)…”.

Thugga wasn’t feeling the post at all, and soon led to him getting fans to tell Plies to take the video off through a video threat on Instagram. However, the video was soon taken off.

All Def Digital’s #TheSignal Presents Scott Brown “One Day”

Born in New York City, and transplanted to Houston, Scott Brown got a jump start in the industry as a child actor with roles in film and TV, including an appearance with Destiny’s Child. Like Drake, Scott’s bite from the acting bug led him into music, coming full force just two years ago in 2013.

Today he’s a local favorite, who’s headlined for artists like Maxo Kream and other major acts in Houston. His laid back, intellectual sounds are atypically refreshing when compared to most of Houston’s sounds; perhaps due to his mashup of East/West Coast influences, as he’s recently found himself back in New York as a junior at St. John’s University.

His sound has been coined as “relatable art to create waves that everyone can catch”. He’s working on his debut project, Gold Tape, which is scheduled to drop on his birthday, October 21st.

Drake & Norm Kelly Show Up at Future’s Toronto Show

Future and Drake have been pretty cool with each other lately, especially with the 6 God featured on DS2. Last night at a performance at Ryerson University, the “Codeine Crazy” rapper brought out both Drake and Toronto politician Norm Kelly on stage. Both guests high five’d each other and hit a real back to back pose, and the crowd went crazy. Drake also performed his featured verse of DS2 single “Where Ya At”.

Did Crips Kick Snoop Outta Long Beach?

Now, what i the world coming to? Snoop is a legend. He does great things in the community. He’s given us decades of music and entertainment. And, he’s like Super Crip! Yet, the word is, he got checked when he was in his own homehood of Long Beach. Check out the report.

Snoop Dogg had his ghetto pass officially revoked.

The legendary Long Beach rapper was in his hometown with some security when members of the Rolling 20 Crips spotted him. They approached Snoop and made it clear he had to bounce before things got “heat’d.”

Hood correspondent, Crischon Corne, was on hand for the incident and posted about it on Facebook.

“Long Beach Rolling 20 Crips just kicked Snoop Dogg off the hood.”

“Snoop just rolled through the hood and s**t, down Martin Luther King…about 3 or 4 cars deep with security, trying to show his presence,” Crischon says, “The homies were ready to blow his a**…They straight kicked Snoop Dogg off the hood.”

“These n***as out here really gonna gun him down though.”

The beef comes from Snoop claiming LBC and dropping Crips references on his tracks, but not paying royalties to Rolling 20s. “This gang banging s**t is real. It ain’t Hollywood, and all that s**t n***a talk about during the songs,” Corde says in his post, “He ain’t live that s**t.”

“They really want their money though. N***a claiming hood, claiming rolling 20 Crip…the homies want their kickback for that s**t.”

Until he starts paying his respects with those checks, Snoop might need to steer clear of LBC for a while.

That’s too bad, if its true. Snoop has moved beyond his conditions.

Did The Bloods Rob Chris Brown?

Aw man…is there no loyalty!? Chris Brown is affiliated, but there are reports that members of the Blood street tribe may have robbed the homie! Peep the report from TMZ!

There’s a hot lead on who robbed Chris Brown of $50,000 … and our sources say they’re closing in on a few known associates of the Bloods.

Law enforcement tells TMZ, they have video of the car that fled Chris’ Tarzana house after the robbers held a gun to his aunt’s head and made off with the $50k. Some good detective work led cops to a gas station near Chris’ home, where they checked surveillance video and saw the getaway car.

Our sources say cops now have a partial license plate, which has led them to Compton and someone who may be a member of the Bloods, a group in which Chris has had ties.

Detectives are interviewing some of the locals and we’re told they’re closing in on the culprits.

Breezy formally has said he never been a Blood nor does he have ties!

FRESH HEAT – Karim – “Liberty City Storiez”

After dropping his second EP, Liberty City Storiez that landed on a host of sites, Karim is back with his first visual from the project, a cinematic-style drama for the title track, “Liberty City.” “Liberty City,” produced by his brother Yaser, opens with darkly seductive ominous overtones that provide the perfect soundscape for Karim’s gritty, sordid lyrics. The imagery Karim conveys in his raps come to life vividly, even without the video’s glimpse into the shady underworld of New York City’s underbelly. Watch the clip below.

Does Doe B’s Mother Want To Talk To T.I.?

This situation with T.I. and Doe B is not going away. I promise. There is more to come, but in the meantime, I am getting word that Tip may want to talk to Doe’s mother! Her name is Shirley Thomas and she sent a very respectful “kite” to Tip, a source has revealed to me. Well, check out what she has to say. I wonder if the call request is because of this notion that T.I. owes Doe B. Click here for that story. Remember Tip COMPLETELY denies that he owes Doe anything and says that he made no money off of him either. Peep it.
