Joe Budden: Meek Mill’s Music Is Too Hard For Him To Act So “Sappy” Around Nicki Minaj (AUDIO)

(AllHipHop News) Joe Budden seems to have an issue with how Meek Mill is handling his relationship with Nicki Minaj. During his “I’ll Name This Podcast Later” episode, the Slaughterhouse member addressed Meek and Nicki. He pointed to the couple’s highly memed appearance at the 2015 BET Awards where Meek came off as awkward to some observers when he was around Nicki.

Budden stated:

Part of my problem with that is that Meek’s music is too hard. Meek’s music is too hard for me to look at him with this f*cking sappy f*ck sh*t. Be the hardcore guy that I’m sure she was attracted to at some point. It’s nasty. I hate everything about it. I’m glad a dark-skinned guy is behaving this way. Light-skinned n*ggas, we’re not moving like that…

Light-skinned guys, we’re used to getting the bad b*tch. He’s like this b*tch just stepped off a f*cking Mars and is the only girl. Oh my God, I just hate it all. But I do appreciate them both keeping the hope of love alive.

The “Pump It Up” rhymer also discussed Meek Mill’s decision to release his latest album Dreams Worth More Than Money early. Budden then predicts DWMTM will sell between 140,000 – 160,000 copies first week and the project will not top the first week sales of Big Sean’s Dark Sky Paradise.

Sean’s third studio LP pushed 173,000 equivalent album units in its initial week. Dreams Worth More Than Money is projected to sell around 200,000 equivalent album units opening week.

Diddy Will Not Be Charged With A Felony For UCLA Arrest

(AllHipHop News) The ups and downs in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ life over the last two weeks continue. The latest news is something the Bad Boy Records founder will be glad to hear.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting Diddy will not be charged with a felony from his arrest at UCLA. A source told the publication prosecutors decided not to pursue felony charges because Diddy waved the kettleball used during the incident at several people and no one was seriously injured.

The case was sent from the L.A. County district attorney’s office to the L.A. city attorney. That prosecutor will decide whether to charge Diddy with a misdemeanor. The decision is expected to be announced next week.

“We are thankful that the district attorney rejected felony charges in this matter,” said Diddy’s attorney Mark Geragos. “This case never should have been part of the criminal justice system to begin with.”

Diddy was taken into custody last week after the Hip Hop mogul was accused of assaulting his son’s assistant football coach at UCLA. Sal Alosi apparently dismissed Justin Combs from the team for the summer. Diddy confronted Alosi, and the situation became physical. Video cameras are said to have captured Diddy swinging the kettleball in the Bruins’ weight room.

Prince Removes His Music From All Streaming Services Except Tidal

(AllHipHop News) Apple Music may have pulled a major coup by getting Dr. Dre, Q-Tip, and others to serve as celebrity DJs for the platform’s new Beats 1 Radio, but Tidal just pulled a big move as well. According to Buzzfeed, iconic musician Prince has pulled his catalog from Apple Music, Spotify, and every other music streaming service – except Tidal.

It is not surprising Prince selected the artist-owned Tidal to host his discography. The Minneapolis native has been very vocal throughout his career about music corporations’ unfair treatment of artists. He famously wrote the word “slave” on his face in protest to Warner Bros Records.

There has not been an announcement about Prince becoming an official partner with Tidal like Jay Z, Kanye West, Beyoncé, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, and many others. The “Purple Rain” performer did stream his Freddie Gray tribute concert from Baltimore exclusively on Tidal.

Kendrick Lamar on Geraldo Rivera’s Criticism: Hip-Hop is Not the Problem

Responding to the Geraldo Rivera’s questionable belief that “Hip-Hop is more damaging to young African-American kids than racism,” the good kid, went on to say, “This is our music; this is us expressing ourselves. Not going out in the streets, but going in the booth and talking about the situation.”

Romey – “I’m A Muthaf#%@!#n Problem” feat. Emilio Rojas

To say Romey has held down the Midwest for a minute now would be an understatement. The Madison, Wisconsin emcee has had a consistent string of releases and features over the past decade that would make many consider him and outright “Muthaf#%@!#n Problem”. To back that statement up, Rome brings in NY vet Emilio Rojas to assist him on the bar heavy cut produced by Tommy Real. This should just be a warning as he has more work to let go of in the near future that should have everyone in his way taking caution. Look for something new to drop sooner than later, with more big features on the way.

Dej Loaf – “Back It Up” feat. Big Sean

XXL Freshman and Detroit leader of the new school, Dej Loaf, continues to leave a stamp on the game and prove that she isn’t a fluke as she teams up with hometown vet Big Sean for her new single “Back Up”. Produced by iRock, the baseline heavy instrumental compliments Dej as she throws warnings out to anyone coming close to her. Look for both of them to hit the road this summer as she will join Nicki Minaj starting July 17 and Sean links with J. Cole on July 12.

Meek Mill Doubts That Safaree Was Ever Invited To The BET Awards?

Rumors have been swirling that Nicki Minaj & Meek Mill had Safaree banned from the BET Awards. Meek Mill took a moment to say that he doesn’t have people banned because it’s like calling the cops. However, he did say that Safaree has never been to an award show by himself, and he doubts that he was even invited. Ouch. I think one of them had poor little Safaree banned.

RiRi co-directed the video and created the treatment, but rumor has it the inspiration for the song and video came from her former accountant. Allegedly Ri created the song, as she was inspired by the lawsuit she had to file against Peter Gournis her former accountant. The suit said Gournis was to blame for Rihanna going from $11 milliion to $2 million a few years back. Hmmmmmmm.

50 Cent Thinks Diddy Should Sue For Performance Fall?

Photos via Diddy & 50 Cent’s Instagram

We know 50 Cent gets a kick out of picking on Diddy, so it was no surprise that he had commentary on Diddy’s fall during his performance in the Bad Boy 20th Anniversary performance set at the 2015 BET Awards. When it seems like 50 was almost on Diddy’s side saying he should sue the network, 50 cent closes his video saying,

“What else did Puffy.. what else he told me to say?”

50 Cent is something else! Should Diddy sue?
