Azealia Banks Clarifies Her Comments About The President; Talks Title Of Next Project

Azealia Banks is not one to hold her tongue about any topic, not even when discussing her lust for President Barack Obama.

In her recent interview with Billboard, she got candid about her feelings for the PLOTUS.

“He’s so fine,” said the 23-year-old. “Those big-ass white teeth and ears hanging off his head? I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I want to f– the President.”

The “Ice Princess” rapper took to Twitter today (Apr. 3) to say that she was just joking around.

The Harlemnite also dished on the title of her follow up to Broke With Expensive Taste and revealed that it stems from her sexuality.

“I sleep with my security guards,” she revealed. “I love security guards. They’re these big meathead bald white guys with blue eyes. And I have had sex with a lot of my female friends. It’s a proximity thing. It’s why I am going to call my next record Business and Pleasure, because I’m always mixing the two.”

Banks social media presence has overshadowed her musical talent for most of her young career and she acknowledged that.

“Celebrities are celebrated, and I don’t think I’m celebrated,” she said. “But maybe one day. It would be nice. I just don’t want to be forgotten about while I’m still alive.”

The-Dream Announces 'Crown' EP Release Date

The-Dream is ready to reclaim his crown as the Radio Killa. He took to Twitter to announce that his new EP, Crown, will drop on Apr. 14th.

The Crown EP will serve as the first half of Dream’s new album Crown/Jewel. Jewel will drop June 9th. The project marks Dream’s reunion with his longtime production partner Tricky Stewart  and his first album since leaving Def Jam Records.

The Atlanta native told Rap-Up that Crown will have more of a “modern R&B feel” while Jewel will show more of  his songwriter side because he chose to keep songs that he would normally give away.

“Fruition” and “That’s My Sh-t” featuring T.I are the EP’s leading singles.

Furious 7 took over the Hollywood and Highland complex in Hollywood, California. The event featured interviews with cast members from the film, including: Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and Nathalie Emmanuel and musical performances by artists from the official soundtrack, including: Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Wiz Khalifa, Wale, YG, Rich Homie Quan, Tyga, Flo Rida, Sage the Gemini, Sevyn Streeter and Charlie Puth. The cast shared stories about working on the franchise and reminisced about their friend and co-star Paul Walker. Additionally, the crowd of over 1500 people was treated to exclusive clips from the film and musical performances.

Kendrick Lamar is known to keep quiet about his personal life but he did open up a little during his visit to The Breakfast Club. Last week, the rumor mill went to work when a picture showed his longtime girlfriend Whitney Alford with a diamond ring on her left hand’s ring finger. The “King Kunta” rapper confirmed that he was indeed engaged.

“At the end of the day you want to always have loyal people around you whether it’s male or female,” said the 27-year-old. “Everybody that has been around me they been around me since day one and I can’t change that. I always show respect where respect has been given. People have been by your side, you’re supposed to honor that.”

Alford is Kendrick’s high school sweetheart and the couple has reportedly been going strong for 10 years.

K. Dot also spoke about the interview he did with Tupac at the end of the “Mortal Man” track on To Pimp A Butterfly. He said he got the audio from someone in Germany and knew that it would fit the album perfectly.

“Tupac was a prophet and everything he was talking about is going on today and that right there just sparked the idea immediately for what I was talking about in my record.”

The two reportedly decided to co-parent their two-year-old son Sebastian peacefully recently after Wiz let Amber hear his latest song from the Fast and Furious 7 soundtrack titled “See You Again” where he rapped “How could we not talk about family when family’s all that we got?/Everything I went through you were standing there by my side/And now you gonna be with me for the last ride.”

After being married for over a year, Rose filed for divorce back in September citing irreconcilable differences. There were also allegations of infidelity from both parties but she claims she was faithful and that Wiz was the one getting around.

Kendrick Lamar has already teamed with Reebok for the  “I Am” video and to present a performance on the streets of Hollywood. The West Coast Hip Hop representative and the apparel company have now joined forces to celebrate the 25 year anniversary of Reebok’s Ventilator model.

As Reebok’s brand ambassador, Kendrick modeled the sneaks in a new campaign. The “Day Glo” Pack is available at select retailers for $75 (adult) and $65 (kids).

Dame Dash Explains His Issues With DJ Vlad (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Damon Dash’s mission of calling out “culture vultures” has turned toward DJ Vlad. He briefly mentioned the head of VladTV on an Instagram post that was mostly aimed at Complex founder Marc Ecko. Dame went into further detail about his issues with Vlad in a video posted on Hip Hop Motivation’s YouTube channel.

“You remember when Vlad called me about [giving] a comment about Flex, and I was like, ‘I don’t have no comment about Flex and Jay. I’m a motherf**king man,'” said Dame. “You don’t ask me about their conversation. You trying to make me look stupid.”

Apparently, Vlad then expressed he felt Dame snubbed him on doing an interview. According to Dame, Vlad sent him a text saying the move was “bad business,” and Dame then told Vlad to “watch his mouth.”

“[Vlad] said, ‘Don’t even send me no more videos. I’m not posting them no more.’ And I said, ‘I’ll see you when I see you,'” added Dame.

HipHopMotivation’s Kenyatta then spoke about Vlad’s apparent reaction to Dame’s comment. According to Kenyatta, Vlad threatened to complain to his business partners at Complex.

“[Vlad] said, ‘I’m going to see how he likes it when I tell the people at Complex that you threatened their number one breadwinner,” said Kenyatta.

Dame suggested Vlad may have played a role in his potential deal with Ecko and Complex not materializing. He goes on to say, “That’s why I’m sick of these motherf**kers. They got to get out of here.”

For the critics that may say Dame is acting like a “Chatty Patty,” the former co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records contends that description does not fit him in this instance because he’s speaking about events he was directly involved in. However, he did address the Funkmaster Flex/Jay Z situation in another video posted in January.

T-Pain Talks Long Delayed "T-Wayne" Collaborative Album With Lil Wayne (VIDEO)

Wayne is currently in a legal battle with his longtime label Cash Money Records. As for T-Pain, the Florida native recently dropped his new mixtape The Iron Way.

(AllHipHop News) Rap star Kanye West and pop star Justin Bieber are both known to be egotistical at times. The website ShipABagOfD*cks.com apparently attempted to burst the two superstar performers’ egos by having the public send them gummy penises.

The site supposedly ran a “Buy One/Give One” April Fools promotion which allowed purchasers to ship a bag of d**ks to Kanye or Bieber with a note that reads, “Suck a bag of d**ks.” According to SABOD, Ye totaled 4,004 bags and Biebs counted up 3,558. That is close to 500,000 candy d**ks.

Did Kanye and Bieber really receive the gummies? The world has to wait and see if either performer comments on the purported shipment of mini private parts.

Ghostface Killah Talks 88 Year Ban On Wu-Tang Clan’s “Once Upon A Time In Shaolin”

(AllHipHop News) The release strategy for Wu-Tang Clan’s secret, one-of-a-kind Once Upon A Time In Shaolin album has been called both brilliant and stupid. Many fans – and some Wu members – were not pleased the project could possibly be held from commercial use for 88 years.

Wu-Tang’s Ghostface Killah was asked about the 88 year ban during an interview with CBC Music. The “All That I Got Is You” rapper originally had doubts about modern listeners not being able to hear the music.

“My first thing was like, no, give it to the people. What are you going to hold it for?” said Ghost. “Then I look at it, like 88 years, most of us is going to be gone by that time, but you know, I don’t know how the state will be in music at that time, but if it is going all right, it might give Wu-Tang another burst in 80 years.”

In an exclusive interview with AllHipHop.com, fellow Wu comrade Masta Killa also spoke about Once Upon A Time In Shaolin‘s 88 year hold. He focused on the exclusivity and artistic value of the project.

“I think the only way to establish value in something is for it to be exclusive. That’s the whole point that I gathered for that particular piece of art. Music is also art, but it’s been devalued because of how it’s looked at now in the industry,” stated Killa. “So the only way to establish that value is to be exclusive with something. If I’m not going to be exclusive with it, then what’s going to make this piece of art any different than any other album that you can go buy?”

Both Masta Killa and Ghostface Killah expressed they enjoyed the production on Once Upon A Time. Neither emcee has heard the final project, but Ghost says he “murdered” the beats he rhymed on.
