Lil Boosie Explains Why He Feels African-American Is The Worst Race

(AllHipHop News) Since being released from prison, Lil Boosie has become a critical voice against rappers using “gimmicks” to portray a false lifestyle to their fans. The Louisiana rapper sat down with NiteCap with Peter Bailey to discuss the power of music to influence people, the stupidity in glorifying prison, monogamy, and more.

During the discussion, Bad Azz also delved into the topic of self-hate within the Black community. Boosie gave an honest, but what has become a controversial answer.

“I feel like African-American is the worst race in the world, because first of all, we kill each other,” said Boosie. “People always talk about this racist stuff, but the White man ain’t waiting in your bushes with a choppa. The White man ain’t trying to take the rims off your car. We’re doing this to each other. So how can we say ‘”eff” the White man’? He ain’t doing nothing, but when we get in trouble – he’s doing his job. Guilty. He ain’t doing nothing wrong.”

Boosie did add he felt that outside forces do bring drugs into African American neighborhoods in order for Blacks to kill themselves. He suggested African Americans should join together and take control of their own community businesses and education.

“If we’re getting the government to teach our people, they don’t have the same love for us as we got for our kids,” states Boosie.

T.I. Says Iggy Azalea Should Be Judged On Her Art, Not Her Nationality (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) The subject of whether Iggy Azalea should be considered Hip Hop or pop has become a hot button issue over the last few months. Some observers, like Rah Digga, feel the Australian performer does not really represent Hip Hop. While others, like The Roots’ Questlove, have expressed Iggy is just an example of what Hip Hop has grown to become in 2014.

T.I., who has served as a mentor for Azalea’s music career, was asked in an interview with Hard Knock TV if he thought Iggy should be considered rap or pop. The Hustle Gang leader suggested critics of the “Fancy” performer are focusing on the wrong parts of who she is.

“I think her influence in music should be attributed to her work ethic, her artistic views, her impeccable ability to – she has a vision for herself and she will not compromise,” said Tip. “I think she should be judged based on that rather than her creed, nationality, or what country she’s from. Those are stereotypes.”

The Atlanta-based reality TV star goes on to add that artists should not be classified into certain categories, because in his view, it diminishes the purpose of them trying to bring people together through music. However, T.I. does admit that Iggy could be placed in several genres.

Who Is Dr. Dre In The Studio With?

ea_ski_dr_dre
After the Beats sale to Apple, I as like Dr. Dre is finished with music, but that’s not the case I am hearing. Word on the street is the good Doc has been seen in the studio with another West Coast legend. Multi-platinum producer E-A-Ski has produced with the likes of Ice Cube, Jayo Felony, Naughty By Nature, Spice 1, Too Short, and Master P and a bunch of others. My sources tell me that he also hit the studio AGAIN. I am hearing that they will be releasing something new even though they have an underground hit with “Dr. Dre & Mr. Ski”. The song was never released, because Dre never approved the song at the day’s end back in the mid-90’s.

NIH Official Says Dallas Hospital "Dropped the Ball" With Travel History Of U.S. Ebola Patient

(AllHipHop News) Less than three days after announcing that the first Ebola case had been confirmed on U.S. soil, new details indicate over 80 people had direct or indirect contact with the patient before he entered  Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital.

According to the New York Times,  Duncan helped transport a pregnant Ebola victim to a Liberian hospital shortly before traveling to the U.S., though authorities advise that flight passengers were not in danger as the patient hadn’t started exhibiting symptoms yet.

Officials are trying to figure out why the patient, identified as Liberian national Thomas Eric Duncan, was mistakenly sent home from the ER Thursday night  after he came in with complaints of abdominal pain despite telling staff that he had recently been in Liberia. Duncan then returned and was admitted Sunday after his condition worsened.

“A travel history was taken, but it wasn’t communicated to the people who were making the decision. … It was a mistake. They dropped the ball,” said Dr. Anthony Fauci, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

So far, no one potentially exposed has shown any signs of infection, however immediate family members have been ordered to remain at home while authorities track down anyone else that may have contact with Duncan, who is listed in serious but stable condition.

Said Texas Health Commissioner Dr. David Lakey, “The order is in place until the incubation period has passed and the family is no longer at risk of having the disease.”

“Oh my God. I am so lucky to have that great woman in my history,” said Diddy. “She is one of the greatest I’ve ever seen. Strangé! Go girl!”

The conversation then turned to Kanye West’s wife Kim Kardashian’s famous butt. According to Diddy, there’s no comparison between what J-Lo and Kim K are holding.

“No disrespect Kanye and Kim, but that thing right there is something special,” said Diddy about Lopez’s booty.

Investigation Into Grand Jury Misconduct In Michael Brown Shooting Case Could Delay Possible Charges

(AllHipHop News) Social media played a huge role in the shooting of Michael Brown becoming national news, and it seems social media could play a role in the delay of possible charges against his killer. The Washington Post reports that an investigation is being launched into apparent misconduct by a member of the grand jury reviewing whether to charge officer Darren Wilson for Brown’s death.

The St. Louis County prosecutor’s office received information about one person on the jury discussing the case with a friend. A Twitter user posted a tweet claiming to be friends with someone on the jury who has expressed his or her belief that there is not enough evidence for Wilson to be arrested. The Twitter user has also apparently tweeted messages of support for Wilson in the past.

All information provided during a grand jury hearing is to be kept secret. If there was a violation of the rules, the prosecutors may have to reconvene an entire new panel.

“If this allegation is true and there is a member of the grand jury who is discussing the case with a Darren Wilson supporter the appropriate thing for the prosecutor to do is impanel a new grand jury,” said Brown family attorney Ben Crump. “If this person is discussing the case outside of the grand jury it is wholly inappropriate. It’s an issue of fairness for Michael Brown’s family.”

Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Erykah Badu To Represent At Apollo "Gods" Concert

(AllHipHop News) This coming weekend, the Gods and The Earths will celebrate with festivities that celebrate The Five Percent Nation with rhyme legends Rakim, Brand Nubian, Big Daddy Kane, Papoose, Erykah Badu and others.

Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Brand Nubian, and more will bless the mic at NYC’s Apollo Theater on Saturday Oct. 4 for the “God & Hip Hop Concert” with Erykah Badu serving as the evenings host.

Born King, the weekend’s promoter, said that the event is the perfect way to celebrate 50 years of the Five Percent Nation.

“The unparalleled link between the Gods and Hip Hop is both historic and legendary. Through Hip-Hop music, our knowledge traveled from the inner cities to all across the country and eventually all over the world,” said Born King to AllHipHop exclusively.

Born King, who heads up The Builders Build Group, also offered some stern words on the changing landscape of Hip-Hop.

“It is clear to the Nation of Gods and Earths – commonly known as the Five Percent [Nation] – that Hip-Hop has lost its way. It’s not just ‘headed for Self Destruction’, it now promotes it – and that’s got to stop. Through this event the Gods are bringing the word life to counter the death now being promoted in Hip-Hop music.”

The concert is a part of a larger event known as “The God & Hip Hop Weekend,” which spans over the course of October 3-5.

The God & Hip Hop Weekend will also offer panel discussions, a town hall meeting, new artist showcase, a family day, and a “Power 50” dinner.

Crooked I Says Lil Wayne Brought Lyricism Back To The Mainstream (POLL)

(AllHipHop News) Lil Wayne’s musical run in the mid-to-late 2000’s saw the New Orleans native rise to be one of the hottest rappers in the game. His mixtapes and guest verses on other artist’s tracks had many people calling him “the best rapper alive.”

A fellow emcee is also crediting Weezy’s contribution during that time for bringing lyrics back to the forefront of the game on a mainstream level. Slaughterhouse member Crooked I praised Wayne for introducing witty lyrics to a new generation.

“I think Wayne is one of the artists who really opened that gateway to where –  it was a time where we weren’t getting anything in the mainstream,” Crooked told HHDX. “In the super-famous realm, I don’t think that those fans were getting any lyricism… I credit and salute [Wayne] because when he was hopping on all those joints, he had some memorable one liners.”
