Hip-Hop Rumors: Suge Knight Says He's Legally Blind In Left Eye

Sighs…here come the “I’m legally blind” jokes and references…

Suge Knight’s defense in his murder case will be that he is legally blind in his left eye due to glaucoma, a  side effect of diabetes.

Knight’s attorney Matthew Fletcher is saying Knight hit the men because he didn’t have a clear view of them.

TMZ reports:

“When Suge pulled back and struck Cle “Bone” Sloan the first time … he didn’t have a clear view of his left side, which may have prevented him from turning left, which would have allowed him to escape down the street.

In addition, Terry Carter was on Suge’s left side when he re-entered the parking lot, so Suge may not have clearly seen him before striking him with the truck.

Suge also claims Carter screamed something to the effect of, “Should I shoot him?” Fletcher says because of Suge’s vision problem, he couldn’t see that Carter was not brandishing a weapon.”

This died just can’t stay out of trouble. Always got some s*** goin! Anywho…P.O.P. Hol it down! (sorry I had to)

Hip-Hop Rumors: Amber Rose And Blac Chyna Give Back

Amber and Chyna are trying to keep up with the ex-significant others and were spotted making it ran in their former place of employment; the strip club.

TMZ reports:

“Wiz Khalifa and Tyga’s exes refuse to take a back seat to them when it comes to making exotic dancer support payments (just sounds classier) — cause Amber Rose and Blac Chyna went big in an L.A. strip club.

The girls hit up Ace of Diamonds in Hollywood Monday night … the same club where Wiz went crazy a few weeks earlier. Once inside, Amber and BC bumped and grinded with some of their ex comrades-in-lucite.

Our sources say both women were paid for their appearance at AoD — though it’s unclear how much … some of it went back to the employees. We’re told they rained $10K on the strippers … right on par with what Wiz and his crew spent.”

Dame Dash Explains Why Jay Z & Biggie's "Brooklyn's Finest" Video Was Never Made (AUDIO)

(AllHipHop News) While Jay Z’s early days include working with Big Daddy Kane and Jaz-O, some Hip Hop historians cite his collaboration with fellow Brooklyn emcee The Notorious B.I.G. as the biggest co-sign of Jay’s career. The two wordsmiths traded bars on the classic Reasonable Doubt track “Brooklyn’s Finest,” but a video for the cut was never filmed.

Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Damon Dash spoke with Hip Hop Motivation about the 1996 Jigga and Biggie collabo. According to Dame, Jay finished his part first, and it took Big about four months to record his verse. But once it was complete, why didn’t the duo shoot any visuals for the song?

“The messed up thing about it was we were going to do the video, and Puff wouldn’t clear it,” stated Dame. “He’s alive. Somebody just ask Puff why he didn’t clear that.”

Besides alleging Sean “Puffy” Combs blocked the “Brooklyn’s Finest” video from happening, Dame also claimed he co-produced the track along with Clark Kent even though he is not credited for his contribution.

Dame also discussed Jay asking him for the rights to Reasonable Doubt for the Roc-A-Fella name, gave advice to aspiring entrepreneurs, addressed how to be successful in the fashion industry, and explained why he dates women of different races.

CNN’s Brianna Keilar interviewed Waka about his decision to pull out from his show date at OU. He spoke about his initial reaction to seeing the footage of the fraternity members chanting, “there will never be a n****r in SAE.”

“I was more hurt, more disgusted, because I knew those kids. I performed for those kids. They made me feel like a brother,” said Waka. “Just to see what a person does behind closed doors is disgusting. I wasn’t angry. I was just disgusted.”

Waka performed for the University Of Oklahoma SAE chapter last year. The “O Let’s Do It” rapper expressed he never felt any racial discrimination from the frat at that time.

“I really can’t blame the kids. That’s passed down,” Waka added.

The university has kicked SAE from the campus and expelled members Parker Rice and Levi Pettit. The family of Pettit and Rice have issued apologies.

“We were as shocked and saddened by this news as anyone,” stated Brody and Susan Pettit. “Of course, we are sad for our son, but more importantly, we apologize to the community he has hurt. We would also like to apologize to the entire African American community, University of Oklahoma student body and administration.”

Rice said, “I am deeply sorry for what I did Saturday night. It was wrong and reckless. I made a horrible mistake by joining into the singing and encouraging others to do the same,” he said.

Cyhi told Revolt:

When you look at Whitney Houston albums, Michael Jackson albums, you look at their credits – everybody gets credit. The programmers, the brainstormers, the dude who tightens the strings on the guitar. Everybody gets credit when you’re doing monumental music.

Now, if you’re just going in, jump on the beat, smoke your weed, drink your lean, then it might just be two people on the record. When you’ve got a responsibility for pop culture, Hip Hop culture, and the world you can’t be in there thinking by yourself…

He ain’t think of these great ideas by himself. He’s getting inspired by different people. It’s a brainstorm. It’s a think tank. That’s what we’re trying to get people to understand. We involve everybody. That’s just what we’re trying to give the young culture. Let them know everybody’s got to work together.

The Atlanta rapper appeared on Kanye’s 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and the GOOD Music compilation Cruel Summer. Cyhi has also released his own mixtapes including this year’s BHP 2: N.A.A.C.P.

Saga Ft. Roc Marciano – "City Streets" (P###. By Marco Polo)

The “City Streets” are both a blessing and a curse: the former for birthing some of Hip-Hop’s most notable figures and giving us an insight into what it takes to get by, while the latter has unfortunately trapped those who have become addicted to the fast life. Meet Brooklyn upstart emcee, Saga, an artist that has managed to seamlessly blend both worlds. Influenced by Brooklyn’s finest, the up and comer makes use of his rhyming fundamentals and lyrical dexterity to elevate himself to become one of the borough’s formidable acts of the contemporary era. For the haters and biters out there, let “City Streets” be proof of Saga’s dedication to self mastery. Trading verses with Roc Marciano, over a criminally minded Marco Polo backdrop, only adds to the allure as to what he has to offer. “City Streets” is the first track taken from Saga’s forthcoming EP, From Out of the Shadows, which is produced entirely by Marco Polo. Stay tuned for more leaks and visuals to follow from this upcoming collaborative effort!
