In the next edition of the Chris Brown, Rihanna, and Drake love triangle – it looks like Rihanna will be giving Drake a chance after all. The Sun is reporting that Rihanna has booked a $200,000 cruise around the Mediterranean for her and Drizzy to rekindle their very short-lived romance.
A source has told the Sun that “Rihanna is determined to live life to the full following her grandma’s death and decided to give it another go with Drake.”
“In the past he’d moan that she wouldn’t commit and was working all the time. But she’s up for trying again.”
“They’re meeting up on a plush yacht in Cannes next week and will then spend a week cruising around the Med.”
Hmm, a few days ago, I heard that Chris Brown had unfollowed Karrueche and had stopped following her on Instagram in an effort to appease Rihanna.
Who would have ever thought that All-American football player Terrell Owens would end up being broke, shunned from the NBA, dissed by an Arena Football team, and now facing jail time?! Wow, how far he has fallen.
T.O. is currently facing jail time stemming from a back child support debt of $200,000 that he owes one of his many baby mamas. Terrell missed a scheduled court appearance in a Fulton County, GA last week in a case regarding his seven-year-old daughter.
The hearing is now rescheduled for July 19, and if T.O. decided to blow this appearance off, he will in fact end up in handcuffs and in jail.
Get your life together, T.O.! We’d hate to see you end up in jail over non-payment of child support.
As an entertainment industry consultant, Khristian Michael built his reputation on his business acumen, keen eye for new trends, and his passion for style. His affinity for high fashion quickly helped him develop his own personal style, which included signature eyewear that he quickly became known for wearing.
In 2009, he made a logical business decision and decided to launch his own designer eyewear brand – Forever K Michael. Starting with painstaking research and development, Michael studied the materials that went into making eyewear, particularly lenses. He studied about shade gradient, transitional, and polarized lenses, making him completely hands-on in the designing of his product. He tested each material to be used in the frame for durability in addition to its luxury. And the result is beautiful.
The Forever K Michael Collection exudes quality, sophistication, and style. The luxury of the brand makes it classy and distinctive and worth the investment of between $80 and $150 per pair.
In addition to his signature luxury line, K. Michael designed Shaquille O’Neal’s Dunkman Eyewear, a sunglasses collection designed to combine style and functionality, with prices ranging from $30-$45.
AllHipHop.com checked in with K. Michael about the Forever K Michael Collection and got tips on how to choose the best summer eyewear:
AllHipHop.com: Khristian, what actually goes into producing eyewear?
K. Michael: Eyewear production and design is a science that brings image and functionality together. It’s about being flexible in meeting the different images and personalities that your customers represent. For me, the designing is the fun part. It’s exciting to see my ideas become a reality in each style.
AllHipHop.com: What is the way to know what type of lens to choose?
K. Michael: In general, you want durable lens, something that doesn’t scratch up easily. Next up, would be shape and size, which would be determined by how you want it to look on your face.
AllHipHop.com: How does a person choose eyewear that best fits their face/personal style?
K. Michael: A person has to have an idea of what their personal style and need is. Eyewear is an extension of you, who you are or who you want to be. You always want to rock colors and styles that enhance your features and make your whole image pop.
AllHipHop.com: Then, is it OK to just rock one pair of shades all summer?
K. Michael: Yes, if you can find one that best fits your need and the different aspects in your life like work, play, and going out with your friends. If one is not enough, have at least one pair for each occasion or a few different styles for each occasion, it’s about what you like. I like to have options for different occasions.
AllHipHop.com: I know some people who love “cheap” sunglasses. Why not just rock the cheap two for $20 joints they sell at the mall?
K. Michael: Eyewear and, even more important, eye care is an essential part of your image and first impression. It’s an extension and investment in you. How much is your image worth to you? The Forever K Michael Collection is a high-end luxury brand. We’re in the same branding lane as Gucci, Prada, and Dolce & Gabbana, our brand is about being polished, feeling sexy, and looking good. We believe it’s about always looking and feeling your best, it’s a way of life, and it’s how we function.
With that said, if you can find a two for $20 deal at the mall, and you like it, then get it. Style is about taste. Wear what works and feels good to you.
The Forever K Michael Collection is available in malls and online. Shop or get more information on Forever K Michael at www.foreverkmichael.com.

(AllHipHop News) Days after he was accused of stealing a sample to help catapult his career, Mac Miller’s label reps have come forward with comments regarding the $10 million suit filed against him in a New York federal court by Lord Finesse.
The suit, filed against Mac Miller, Rostrum Records, and DatPiff.com, alleges “copyright infringement, unfair competition, unjust enrichment, interference, deceptive trade practices, and a number of related state law claims,” for Mac Miller’s sampling of Lord Finesse’s 1995 track, “Hip 2 The Game”.
The track was sampled on Mac Miller’s “Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza” song from his popular K.I.D.S. mixtape.
The following is an official statement Rostrum Records on behalf of Mac Miller:
“There have been a lot of misstatements online and in the press, so we thought it’d be best to make some brief comments. First and foremost, we stand by Mac Miller in this situation and we will fight the case together with him.
“Mac never pretended that the “Hip 2 Da Game” beat was his, despite what’s being said in the suit. Lord Finesse was given credit on both the video and the mixtape from the very beginning. We’ve never distributed “Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza” for sale on iTunes and have consistently policed digital retailers and other sites to make sure that no pirates were ever illegally selling the song.
“Lord Finesse has known about “Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza” for a long time and never objected to the use. For some reason, he has very recently changed his mind.
We look forward to resolving this issue soon, and we appreciate all of the support that we have been receiving from the entire music community.”
Prior to the statement’s release, Mac Miller took to Twitter to express his thoughts on the dispute, saying in part, “1. I made that record and video as nothing more than an 18 year old kid who wanted to rhyme and pay homage, no other intentions. 2. Finesse and I spoke on the phone for an hour after he heard the record and cleared the air. We even planned to work on music together.”
To the contrary, in the suit, Lord Finesse alleges that the sample was stolen in a strategic effort to help Mac Miller build his fanbase.
They are not the Black version of “Jay and Silent Bob.”
And yet, it’s quite clear that distinctly different personalities are at play in this duo. One has always seemed more quiet and laid back – except on stage where, from the beginning, he helped infuse the love and Hip-Hop into A Tribe Called Quest.
The other is more lively – he talks and moves at a rapid pace – perhaps at the speed of his classic “Engine Engine Number 9” phrase from Blacksheep that still makes the crowd jump towards the roof at parties to this very day.
But, let’s be clear. They are no longer Blacksheep and Tribe – well, maybe in their hearts, but not on paper. They are EVITAN – ‘native’ spelled backwards – and they aren’t interested in being called Old School, but want to just be considered great at creating Hip-Hop music.
Dres has spent his recent times still recording and finding new relevance, thanks to last year’s uber-popular Kia “Hamster” commercial that spotlighted his epic, 20-year-old single, “The Choice Is Yours.” He is also doing more acting, and recently announced his role in the movie, Fight Dance, Sing.
The past year also brought both rappers a boost via their appearances in the award-winning, Michael Rapaport-directed Beats, Rhymes and Life documentary about A Tribe Called Quest. In particular, it was one of the first times the rap audience has ever gotten to hear from Jarobi (and we learned that he is a sensitive guy and a great chef, too).
If it’s up to the fans, you’ll hear more from EVITAN. That’s if Dres will ever let Jarobi get a word in edgewise.
AllHipHop.com had a ball talking to EVITAN after their rapper-packed set (with Rah Digga, Homeboy Sandman, Sadat X, and more) at the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival’s “Show and Prove Bowl” earlier this week.
They were eager to push their upcoming album, Speed of Life, along with the notion that the elusive “new MC” Jarobi can indeed rap AND cook (via his upcoming cooking show – EXCLUSIVE!).

(AllHipHop News) Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka have announced that the Brick Squad Monopoly (BSM) will be releasing a tribute mixtape in honor of fallen BSM member Slim Dunkin, who was gunned down in December of last year.
The project stems from the Block Illegal mixtape series that Slim Dunkin and BSM up-and-comer D Dash Bo developed, completing the final chapter in the short-lived series.
While many Hip-Hop fans are just getting to know D Dash Bo, fans of the BSM movement will remember that D Dash Bo was Slim Dunkin’s protege, representing the Dirt Gang crew and was featured on Waka’s album alongside Slim Dunkin.
“You know, the mixtape, it’s something that me and my brother had a dream about and we trying to put it all together for the team. We came from the heart with everything on this, turn up,” D Dash Bo explained to AllHipHip.com. “Well, to us as a team and a family; it means a lot to carry on what we started. It started with my bro, Slim [Dunkin], and we just carrying the torch in the best way we can. This tape gonna explain what happened from the hard times to now.”
Block Illegal 2 will be hosted by DJ Holiday, DJ Spinz & V103 DJ Kash, and features a collection of songs with other artists including, Waka Flocka, Gucci Mane, Trae Da Truth, Future, Roscoe Dash, French Montana, Stuey Rock, and more.
“It’s just a collective of some of the last music that Slim had, and it’s absolutely phenomenal man. D-Bo is the next in the up in the Dirt Gang crew, and him taking the flag and running with it, and Waka Flocka having his success, we thought it was the right time to do something epic to send my man out on the red carpet with the doves and everything, doing things the big boy way,” DJ Holiday explained to AllHipHop.com.
Brick Squad Monopoly affiliate and up-and-coming rapper, Slim Dunkin, was shot and killed by the currently incarcerated Young Vito late last year. While early details were sketchy, at this point Atlanta police now know that Slim Dunkin was recording in the the booth before an argument ensued, and Young Vito entered the booth and shot Slim Dunkin amidst a struggle.
In honor of Slim Dunkin, the BSM family has a host of videos planned for this project, and they intend to use this opportunity to brand D-Bo and his Dirt Gang crew.
“Sh*t, you know the videos I got planned; this sh*t gonna be epic. I’m really gonna sit back and help co-direct some videos, but they don’t really need help, because we got Major League PacMan behind him. Videos we gonna really brand D-Bo and this Dirt Gang crew music all the way to the T. We gonna really show y’all Clayton County, Georgia,” Waka Flocka told AllHipHop.com
“When people think about Brick Squad Monopoly, they don’t think about drugs – they think about a company, a label, an establishment, an enterprise, an empire that built a company brick by brick. That’s why we call it Brick Squad period. Like we gonna give these folk’s our all, like we all we got type sh*t, for real,” Waka Flocka added.
The mixtape holds a special place in the hearts and minds of the BSM team, and will feature several songs that pay tribute to their fallen brother.
“‘Number one, we got Me and Flock, we got ‘Feelin My Self’ with Trae the Truth, we got ‘Celebration’ with Gucci [Mane], we got Rock Star with Slim [Dunkin] and Roscoe Dash, we got a lot. To be honest, the whole tape gonna stand out, ’cause we did us. We ain’t try to be nobody else,” D-Bo said.
Fans can pick up the mixtape next Tuesday (July 17) via LiveMixtapes.

(AllHipHop News) In what has now become a concert series rather than a few appearances, three additional shows have been added to rap mogul Jay-Z’s planned kickoff for the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City.
According to the New York Daily News, Jay-Z, will perform a total of eight shows between September 28 and October 6 at the arena in downtown Brooklyn, the new home of his co-owned Brooklyn Nets NBA basketball team.
There are reports that scalpers are selling approximately 6,700 tickets online, with prices ranging from $60 for upper tier seats to $6,800 for seats on the floor.
Most of the 7,000 tickets to the eight shows, however, will be sold for $29.50, but will reap upwards of $195 online.
“It’s going to be very difficult for the real fan to get hold of them and that has a lot to do with ticket distribution,” said Will Flaherty, an executive for SeatGeek, a ticket aggregating company.
Jay-Z was recently named Director for the new Barclays Arena firm that will oversee the home of the Brooklyn Nets.
The Barclays Center’s boasts a prime location along Brooklyn’s historic Atlantic Avenue, and with its 14,586 seats, is set to bring thousands of jobs to the rapper’s birthplace borough.
Hustle is an extremely popular word in our culture. With varying meanings, many young people and young adults have applied it and made a lot of themselves. It’s wonderful to see so many students, business owners, and dream chasers. There’s nothing better than seeing a stereotype being diminished, but hustling isn’t a fad, it’s a lifestyle.
It’s either in you to work hard or not at all.
There’s a quote that says, “a rocking horse moves, but makes no progress.” If you’re really doing something, it shows. In the age of status updates and online bios, people can come off as being on the top of their game, but the proof is in the work. It is perfectly fine to start small; just don’t try to make yourself seem bigger than you are. Persistence and dedication pays off. Learn to allow things to run their course, otherwise you’ll be running in circles.
Many people have to work harder than the average person. Be it because they lack resources, have an intense drive, or have others relying on them to make it, they do what it takes. On the flip side, always saying you’re “hustling” and “grinding” with no evidence are only mere cover-ups. There are only so many business cards you can pass out with no clients, studio sessions you can take with no buzz, and jobs you can pass up on while sitting and waiting for your big break.
Dreaming is wonderful, but a plan with a dream is better. Too many people would rather appear busy than actually getting busy making strides to truly establish themselves. Being successful includes being business minded, responsible, patient, AND a hustler, not someone who just refers to himself or herself as one.
WORK HARD, PLAY HARD. HUSTLE, HUSTLE HARD. This might be a new day, but the rules haven’t changed one bit.

(AllHipHop News) Fresh off of clarifying her status with Grand Hustle and former label home Interscope Records, Iggy Azalea has opened up about her soon-to-be-release Glory EP and one of the collaborations to expect on it featuring Pusha T and Cee Lo Green.
“Right now I’m waiting for Cee Lo to send me back his part, ’cause he’s singing a hook on a song I have with Pusha T,” Azalea told AllHipHop.com. “Once I get that back, we should be good to go. Everything else is being mastered and mixed at the moment, so I’m just waiting for that one thing, and then I’ll put it out.”
Regarding the tracks that actually ended up making it onto Glory, she spoke on the difference between the music on her EP and that from her debut album, The New Classic, which is expected to drop before the end of the year.
Said Azalea, “Everything that got recorded for Glory, for the most part, was intended for my album and I was doing this record while I was in Atlanta with everybody from Grand Hustle like Trae [the Truth] and all these other artists, and I was just around stuff that was so ‘rap.’
“I like that ‘rap’ stuff as well, and I thought, ‘I want to make some songs like this and put them on my album,’ and other people weren’t really into that idea. So I thought I could put them out on Glory, because I still want to be able to give this to the world for everyone to be able to know that I can do these type of records.
“I just think that when you’re doing albums and stuff like that, you have to be more considerate of the other people that you’re working with or your label or A&R, and you have to appease these other people and for something like Glory. When it’s free, I get a pass to do whatever I like, and this is what I wanted to do, because of who I was around.”
In addition to clarifying the hold-up of Glory and the sound of The New Classic, Azalea spoke on the misconception that T.I., who is executive producing her debut, has taken full control over the album. She also spoke on the recently-released “Million Dollar Misfits” record with fellow Grand Hustle artists B.O.B. and T.I., and if she has any plans to work with her fellow XXL “Freshman” like Roscoe Dash and Future.
