Roc Nation Experiments With Technology For New Bridget Kelly EP

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Jay-Z’s company Roc Nation will experiment with new technology, for the release of Bridget Kelly’s new EP.

Bridget Kelly’s new EP Every Girl, is being released through a new partnership with Fileblaze.com.

The EP, which is being released on Bridget Kelly’s official website BridgetKelly.com, will be distributed via Fileblaze’s secured, cloud-based file storage and streaming platform.

“Fileblaze was created to offer media professionals a robust file sharing and streaming system with a focus on piracy prevention,” Fileblaze’s CEO Chuck Baker told AllHipHop.com. “Roc Nation was the first label to take full advantage of features to securely release their music.”

Fileblaze was launched on July 4, and has become one of the more popular filesharing sites for the music industry, by providing tools to store and share music.

Fileblaze also unveiled their new “Blaze Page” service, which is a customizable media folder for artists, executives and media professionals, allowing them to securely stream music video and images through a webpage.

Nicki Minaj Lands Nail Polish Deal

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Nicki Minaj is expanding her brand with a new deal that will see her line of nail polish products coming to stores in 2012.

The Young Money rap star has inked a deal with OPI to launch the Nicki Minaj OPI Nail Lacquer Collection, a line of nail polishes slated to land in stores next year.

Each color in the new nail polish line is named after one of Nicki Minaj’s songs.

Nicki Minaj’s fans can buy nail polishes like “Metal 4 Life,” “Fly,” “Save Me,” “Did It On Em,” and “Super Bass Shatter.”

“Now you can now have Nicki Minaj at your fingertips, literally,” the rapper posted on her official website. “Nicki has teamed up with OPI Nail Lacquer bringing lots of cute & fun colors for the barbz mittens.”

This is the second cosmetic deal for the chart topping rapper, who also released a limited edition “Pink Friday” line of lipstick with M.A.C last year.

Although an exact release date was not available, sources stated that the nail polish would be sold in Sephora, as well as other cosmetic retailers and department stores.
