(AllHipHop News) A$AP Ferg will be donating the large oil scale painting he created of A$AP Yam to the first A$AP Yams Commemorative Gala & Art Auction in New York this weekend.
The painting, called “Tatted Angel” was originally debuted during Art Basel Miami Beach 2015.
A$AP Ferg created this in honor the late A$AP Yam who passed away in January of 2015.
“Tatted Angel” features an angular background of the New York City streets, an analysis of A$AP inspired quotes and an illustration of Steven “A$AP Yam” Rodriguez with light beams shooting out of his eyes and hugging a globe.
The gala, which takes place on Saturday (March 25), is co-hosted by the A$AP Foundation, a foundation dedicated to drug abuse awareness and prevention.
The proceeds from the event will go towards social media awareness campaigns, middle and high school seminars with recordings and multimedia artists and professionals, and alternative arts programs in New York City.
