“She’s a writer herself, so she wrote and did her thing,” said Sean. “If it was bad, I would have told her, but it wasn’t bad. It was great.”
The two stars collaborated before on Grande’s “Right There.” At the time, she and Sean were not dating. The GOOD Music/Roc Nation artist was asked about his current relationship with the Pop singer. He shared his thoughts on being with another successful entertainer.
“You gotta make time. I appreciate that though, because I’m focused, she’s focused,” added Sean. “To be honest, I wouldn’t want somebody who didn’t have their own stuff going on, who wasn’t focused and about their business, and who couldn’t relate.”
Ariana is just one of the ten artists that makes a guest appearance on Sean’s latest album. Drake shows up on “Blessings,” and Chris Brown adds vocals to “Play No Games.”
Drizzy and Breezy have been involved in an on-again, off-again feud for years, and the issues between the two reignited in recent weeks. Nessa asked Sean about his role in attempting to mend clashes among his peers.
“I feel like I’m pretty cool with damn near everybody,” said Sean. “I let grown men be grown men. They got issues to work out, they’re going to work it out. Clearly, we see that with Chris and Drake. They worked it out on their own. You got to let people handle their own business.”
