(AllHipHop News) Drake just added more end-of-the-year honors to his accolades for 2016.
After dominating the Spotify and Apple Music full-year tallies, the Canadian artist bests Billboard’s Rap Albums Artists and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Artists lists.
This is the second year in a row the OVO leader ended the calendar year atop of the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Artists chart.
Drake was followed by Beyoncé (#2), Rihanna (#3), The Weeknd (#4), and Future (#5).
The Rap Albums Artists chart also includes Kendrick Lamar (#2), Kevin Gates (#3), G-Eazy (#4), and Future (#5).
Drake’s Views sits in first place on the ’16 Rap Albums chart.
The Hamilton soundtrack (#2), Kevin Gates’ Islah (#3), G-Eazy’s When It’s Dark Out (#4), and Kendrick Lamar’s untitled unmastered (#5) complete the list of best-selling projects.
In addition, Drake was named the leader of the Hot 100 Artists, Rap Albums, Streaming Songs Artists, On-Demand Artists, Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and several other charts.
Desiigner’s “Panda” managed to claim the pole position on the Hot Rap Songs, R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs, and Rap Streaming Songs charts for 2016.
The Top New Artists chart is led by R&B crooner Bryson Tiller.
Desiigner (#3) and Tory Lanez (#8) are also part of the Top New Artists rankings based on Billboard Hot 100, Billboard 200, and Social 50 chart performances as well as Boxscore touring revenue.
