(AllHipHop News) Brooklyn rapper Joey Badass is celebrating the success of his hit single “Devastated,” which has been certified gold.
The RIAA certified the record on January 6 for moving over 500,000 units of the song, which he debuted at Coachella on in April of 2016.
“No words mane just utter bliss and elation. We on our way to greatness and all it ever took was patience,” Joey said referencing the inspirational lyrics of the song.
“Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years. #Grateful. AABA coming soon just wait on it!!!” Joey exclaimed.
Joey also explained his recent hiatus from social media, while promising his fans a “special treat” as he readies A.B.B.A.
“I’m sure you guys noticed I haven’t been f##king with social media lately because I’ve been focused on the music but this is something worthy of posting,” Joey Badass promised.
