The video will reportedly release next month.

Kanye West is reportedly preparing to release another extended apology for his previous antisemitic outbursts. On (January 18), amid headlines of West’s reconciliation with his longtime collaborator TMZ reported that he recently commissioned a camera crew and recorded a 40-minute apology video. According to the source, Ye speaks the entirety of the video on camera—though he was allegedly “rambling.” The lengthy video will reportedly drop ahead of the scheduled February 9 release date of he and Ty Dolla $ign’s collaborative Vultures album.

News of West’s new apology arrives following the statement he issued in Hebrew last month after the Christmas holiday. Upon release, a spokesperson for The American Jewish Committee criticized the Ye’s use of Hebrew, arguing that he “intentionally” denied most American Jews and non-Jews from being able to read his apology.

“Beyond being bizarre and possibly a ploy to gain more attention, the Hebrew apology – posted without translation – is inaccessible to most American Jews who do not speak the language,” they said in a statement to The Associated Press. “While he claims that he is committed to learning and greater understanding, this apology speaks to ‘any pain I may have caused,’ rather than acknowledging the pain that he has caused.”
