According
to the latest Study released, 60 percent of music lovers that
download songs have bought recordings from a retail outlet after
hearing the songs online. The survey, which polled almost 17,000
people, was conducted by Yankelovich Partners. The survey also
found that 4 out of 5 people would spend more on music if they
could buy it instantly. Under half of the people polled said they
use Internet access to find music that is not broadcast on local
radio stations. The survey also found that on average, the people
listened to music about 10 hours a week, and spent at least 25
dollars on music in the past 6 months.
