Nicki Minaj put on an amorous display with her husband, Kenneth Petty, on Instagram Live, prompting a wave of angry comments from fans.
The “Barbie World” hitmaker was relaxing between performances on her Pink Friday 2 tour when she decided to spend time with her fans on Live. Her husband, Kenneth Petty, joined her, and Minaj spent the stream sitting on his lap as he kissed and caressed her.
After playing a game of “Nicki Trivia” with her man, Minaj gushed over her love of The Barbz, her diehard fanbase.
“I don’t know if they would love me if they really knew me though,” she said before Petty quickly objected. “Why wouldn’t they? They’d love you even more if they really knew you. You’re a very kind-hearted beautiful person inside and out. That’s undeniable. But I don’t want nobody to love you. You’re all mine.”
However, Minaj suddenly ended the Live as Petty pulled her even closer, seemingly wanting some privacy.

Petty’s appearance on the Live angered many of Minaj’s fans, who took to the comment section to object. While some praised Petty for knowing Minaj’s lyrics and joked that she was about to get pregnant again, many referenced his criminal past. In 1995, Petty was convicted of the attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl.
“Y’all called him ken…..the disrespect ken would never rape anyone,’ wrote one fan.
“It p##### me off every time I see that man,” another added while a third said, “Wish she woulda picked a betta baby daddy tho smh.”
Other fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to Complain about Petty’s appearance alongside Minaj.
