The Rich Forever label founder is featured on one of the most-streamed songs in America right now.

Rich The Kid made it onto Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s recently released Vultures 1 album. The duo collectively known as ¥$ recruited the NYC-born, ATL-raised rapper for the “Carnival” track.

While Rich celebrated working with Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign, Hip-Hop journalist Elliott Wilson did not seem to share in that excitement. On Monday (February 12) Wilson tweeted, “Rich The Kid is the luckiest n#### on the planet.”

About an hour later, Rich The Kid quote-tweeted Elliott Wilson’s X (formerly Twitter) post. The Rich Forever label founder responded, “How the f### I’m lucky? N##### made that song from scratch… hating is not cool, bro.”

Rich The Kid began his music career by linking with fellow Atlanta natives Migos for 2013’s Streets On Lock mixtape. He also dropped Quality Control-backed projects like 2014’s Rich Than Famous and 2015’s Flexxin on Purpose.

After signing a deal with Interscope Records, Rich released his debut studio LP, The World Is Yours, in 2018. The World Is Yours singles “New Freezer” featuring Kendrick Lamar and “Plug Walk” made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s “Carnival” with Rich The Kid and Playboi Carti currently sits at No. 1 on Apple Music’s Top 100: USA chart. The collaboration also peaked at No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs USA chart.
