Rich Homie Quan’s DJ Defends His Young Thug Jab

Photos via Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug’s Instagram

As you know a video surfaced of Rich Homie Quan taking shots at Young Thug during one of his performances. When a male fan tried to touch him, RHQ went off.

“I don’t f**k with no f**kin’ f*gs…looking’ like Young Thug…get the f**k away from me. Get your a** the f**k back, bruh. I don’t like sissies, n***a!,” said RHQ

Young Thug threw a couple of jabs himself as he tweeted that Rich Homie’s career is almost over, and that his show wasn’t even that packed for him to be talking like that. Rich Homie Quan’s DJ, DJ Fresh, says that the blogs are running with a lame story, and that “that isn’t what happened.” Fresh tried to explain that the guy trying to touch him was acting flamboyantly gay and happened to look like Young Thug.

Fresh said people will twist stories and try to tell you the sky is green instead of blue. Sounds like those drinks wore off and everyone is trying to downplay it. RHQ said what he said. LOL. What are you thoughts?

Is Migos’ Offset Unfairly Being Denied Bail?

Photo via Offset’s Instagram

Offset of the rap trio Migos is requesting that he be released immediately from jail. He believes the evidence that the prosecutors are presenting of him allegedly inciting a jail riot doesn’t add up. Offset claims their footage is only 20 seconds, and you can’t tell who is even involved in the incident. He also says if it were him or not, how could a full out brawl only be 20 seconds long? Offset has been denied bail since April, for weapons and drugs charges. He has another bail hearing today. Do you think they will let him out after being denied bail for 223 days?

Someone Is Lying About Whether Or Not 50 Cent’s Son Applied To MMG!

Rick Ross has been sticking to his story of 50 Cent’s son applying for an internship with MMG. 50 Cent’s son, Marquise, has remained quiet during most of the back and forth, but now 50 Cent’s baby mama Shaniqua ( @Shaniqua_tompkins), took to her Instagram to let people know that Roazy is allegedly lying. She said,

“I don’t know why you insist on trying to drag my son in this circus you have going on with his father. You and God know that my son has never applied to your establishment. You’re trying to associate him with a father whom he hasn’t spoken to in years.”

She also told him to speak facts not fiction, if he even knows how. This is definitely a jab as it’s always been said Ross’ whole story and persona is one big lie.

My Five Firsts: Sheek Louch

Before he reached the age of 20, Sheek Louch had already cashed his first check as a major label artist. The East Coast representative’s two decade career would go on to include recording songs with legendary emcees like The Notorious B.I.G., DMX, and Ghostface Killah.

As he releases his 6th studio album Silverback Gorilla 2 today, AllHipHop.com tapped Sheek for the latest installment in the “My Five Firsts” series. One third of the lyrical rap trio known as The Lox reflects back on a few memorable moments from his life.

Find out what Don Gorilla recalls about stepping into the studio with Biggie, witnessing the rise of X, hitting the stage with the Wu-Tang Clan, and experiencing two of his favorite LPs for the first time.

First Time Recording With The Notorious B.I.G.

I think the song was “You’ll See.” That was the recording, but we went to Hot 97 and spit a bunch of times. But basically it was like a kid in the candy store, from recording with him to walking in the studio for the first time.

Seeing them all in that room – we were walking past the room like we were scared to go in. You know how a motherf*cker looks in the room while he’s walking by? That was us three looking at B.I.G. in the room. B.I.G. used to always tell us he’d bring anybody to hear us rap. He’d bring Hov and all these different people every night to hear these three new dudes he got.

Then when we laced the track, it was amazing. Especially, doing “Last Day” on his [Life After Deathalbum. He pulled us into his truck at a show. He said, “Listen to this. I laid my verse. I want y’all to get on it.” I was like, “When? Where?”

First Time Meeting DMX

That’s a little tricky, because X was a star to us in Yonkers before y’all met him. Before y’all heard of DMX, he was popping where we’re from. He was that n*gga whether it be music or doing some other sh*t. So we all knew of him. He just didn’t blow yet. When he finally did, we were all proud.

You have to realize, X was a star in his own right. Before Dee and Waah started Ruff Ryders, they were our managers. We happened to go over to Bad Boy and get the deal. We brought our managers on. That’s when they went to do their own thing, and they had this artist named DMX. But we knew him forever. By the time the world heard him, it was like, “That’s our man right there!”

First Time Getting A Major Label Check

I probably bought a car and put the rest in the bank. After moving to different labels, it was actually nothing. But the first time, I think I bought a Lincoln Navigator. You know the first sh*t we do when we get money. [laughs] It’s different now.

First Time Performing As Wu Block

I remember the first time performing with Ghost. We were doing tours together before we came up with the idea to make that [Wu Block] record. I remember the first time we had RZA, Method Man, Chef [Raekwon], and everybody on stage. We did some shows in New York. I’m a big fan of the Wu. Them boys are legends to us. We used to borrow Mary J. Blige’s Range Rover and ride around listening to the Clan. Salute to them.

First Time Listening To Black Moon’s Enta Da Stage and The Notorious B.I.G.’s Life After Death

Black Moon’s Enta Da Stage? I was working at Staples. I’d get off the bus with my big down coat and headphones on. I was walking from the bus stop to the crib, cutting through the hood. I remember that era in my life listening to Enta Da Stage. Hearing Biggie’s Life After Death, I was like, “Wow, this is such a well put together project.”

‘Love & Hip Hop’ Star Milan Christopher Responds To Lord Jamar Saying Gay People Don’t Belong In Hip Hop (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Season 2 of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood sparked a lot of discussion about homosexuality and homophobia in Hip Hop. The VH1 series featured the first two openly gay male cast members – Miles “Siir” Brock and Milan Christopher.

[ALSO READ: Darryl “DMC” McDaniels Of Run-DMC Discusses Homophobia In Hip Hop (VIDEO)]

Milan recently did an interview with VladTV where he was asked to respond to previous comments made by Lord Jamar. The Brand Nubian emcee suggested homosexuals where not allowed in Hip Hop culture and individuals that identify as gay have a mental disease.

“It’s ironic, because if you follow the Hip Hop culture, where it comes from, and why it sprouted – for an oppressed person to try to oppress another person is kind of crazy to actually hear him say those things,” Milan replied.

He continued, “One of the things that was interesting about what [Jamar] was saying is the mental disease [comment]. That’s where I’m just… It’s hate. It’s a thin line between having an opinion about something and basically saying things that will make another person feel less than who you are.”

He went on to compare saying gay people have no place in Hip Hop is the same as saying people of other races or women have no place in Hip Hop. While he did not state he believes Drake is gay, Milan also offered the Toronto rhymer’s non-street approach to rapping as an example that a gay person could succeed in the genre. In addition, the reality star claimed he personally knows gay male rappers that choose to present themselves as straight to the public.
