G-Unit Talks Jimmy Henchman And Game, Floyd Mayweather Jr's Mike Brown Challenge + MORE (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Understatement of the year alert: G-Unit does not forget its enemies. During a recent interview earlier today (September 4th), G-Unit discusses why Game will not be apart of the G-Unit reunion, responds to Floyd Mayweather Jr’s $750,000 challenge and more.

Jimmy Henchman, longtime associate of Game was sentenced to life in prison on October 25th, 2013 over cocaine trafficking, witness tampering and money laundering. Tony Yayo was arrested in 2007 over allegedly slapping Henchman’s teenage son. Before calling Game a “snake that won”, Yayo explains on Ebro In The Morning how Game’s connection to Henchman rules out his inclusion in any G-Unit reunion.

I just feel like with the Game thing it’s like y’all know what it is. He was messing with Jimmy Henchman. It’s deeper than rap. Y’all keep asking that dumb question when his OG’s had FEDS knocking at my door. It’s like the industry, y’all don’t get it, ’cause it’s the streets.

Yesterday (September 3rd) Mayweather Jr challenged 50 Cent to donate $750,000 to Mike Brown’s family. Buck revealed that he turned one of his lyrics from “Ahh Sh*t” addressing the Mike Brown shooting into a shirt. 50 Cent addressed Mayweather’s challenge by revisiting his original challenge:

Tell him to read Page 3 in Harry Potter. Same 750 [thousand] for Page 3 in Harry Potter.

First Week Sales Predictions For Jeezy's "Seen It All" Are In

Hits Daily Double has crunched the numbers, and the industry site is predicting Jeezy’s new effort is expected to sell between 90,000-100,000 units opening week. That total will not be enough to top Maroon 5’s V (145-155K) for the number one album in the country.

However, if those numbers hold Jeezy will continue his streak of breaking into the top 3 on the album chart, and he’s close to selling over 100,000 copies in his initial week for the fifth straight time.

Each of his previous four albums opened at 1, 2, or 3 on the Billboard 200; Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 (#2 -172,000), The Inspiration (#1 – 352,000), The Recession (#1 – 260,000), and TM:103 Hustlerz Ambition (#3 – 233,000).

Star Responds To Snoop Dogg Threatening To Beat His A** (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Radio host Star added another round in his media battle with Snoop Dogg. During an episode of his Live & Direct show, Star fired back at the rapper for his recent Instagram video. On the IG post Snoop spoke directly to Star and said, “I’ll beat your motherf**king ass.”

Star opened his “Just Who Is Snoop Dogg Tuesday” show by taking a few shots at Snoop’s fans, and he then showed love to the Doggystyle performer and the West Coast. But later Star’s attention turned to Snoop’s murder trial.

I’m choked up right now. Truth be told, we don’t see this n***a like that. For the babies who don’t know, back in 1996 Calvin Broadus was on trial for murder. He told the courtroom and I quote, “I’m not a gang member, and I’ve never shot anyone. I’m gang-affiliated, but I’m not a gang member.”

See, history has swept a lot of things up under the rug. And I’m not tryna stop nobody’s hustle. He’s a funny character type n***a. Ain’t he? We love him. I don’t take him serious. As a registered firearm carrier I’m not gonna respond, “Yeah yeah yeah, I’ll meet you in the street. Yadda yadda yadda.” N***a might be on that suing s**t. Get my gun taken away from me. I just don’t take him serious.

Dr. Dre was very disappointed. Dre didn’t even go to the trial. [Dre was thinking,] ‘N***a, I brought you in for some protection. You’re not a gang member? You never shot nobody? You’re on your own.”

Mary J. Blige Announces New Album 'Mary J. Blige: The London Sessions'

The Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige, recently spent a month in London working on and cultivating the sound of a brand new album simply titled ‘Mary J Blige: The London Sessions‘ which was confirmed by the UK publication The Guardian. Blige has been working with House music duo Disclosure, Sam Smith, Jimmy Napes, Naughty Boy, Emeli Sandé and more on the upcoming album. She promises that this effort will be the most innovative album of her 22-year career. Although she recorded the album in London and worked with a lot of UK talent, the project will be executive produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins.

“Our idea was to become part of London, to really embrace the culture – to really live in it,” says Blige. “Not that I haven’t been here before, but I’ve never had the chance to really soak in it the way I have this time. To make records from the London-scene perspective.” What is that exactly? What does she think London has? “Freedom,” she says. “The music is free over here the way it used to be in the States. Artists are just free to do what they love. Listening to the radio you can hear the freedom. The music is living and breathing – you can hear that from Adele’s last album.”

Sam Smith also shared his take on the success of so many new artists from the UK, and what the project will deliver. “With my record – and when you think about Adele, and Amy Winehouse and Ed Sheeran – we’re not worried about the way we’re looking, the way we’re coming across in our music,” he said. “We’re just saying what’s in our minds and in our hearts. I see that as strength – to be able to face your issues and your sadness head-on. That’s what I’ve tried to do in my music, and I think that’s what this Mary album is about – a fearless vulnerability.”

Warren G Questions Why He Wasn't Included On "How The West Was Won" Concert

(AllHipHop News) If a list was being compiled of rappers that helped push West Coast Hip Hop to the forefront it would surely include Warren G. The Long Beach, California native was a central figure in the West’s rise to prominence in the 1990’s with hits like “Regulate” and “This D.J.”

The veteran emcee/producer is now questioning why his contributions to Cali rap was not enough to earn him a slot on the upcoming “How The West Was Won” concert in Irvine.

While it appears Warren was left off the bill, the event has booked other acts from the area including Snoop Dogg, The Game, E-40, Xzibit, DJ Quik, Glasses Malone, Tha Eastsidaz, Too Short, Problem, and Suga Free.

Warren G took to social media to point out that he was not invited to participate in the celebration of West Coast Hip Hop. He sent out a Tweet addressing the issue and posted a picture on Instagram with the caption, “Wow I was just informed that I’m not apart of the how the west was won Los Angeles. That’s the thanks I get I guess for changing the game but it is what it is this still G Funk.”
