(AllHipHop News) When The Boondocks returns for its fourth season, the animation will look the same, the humor will seem similar, however one crucial component will be significantly different. Adult Swim announced today (March 21st), that the creator of The Boondocks, Aaron McGruder will not be apart of the new season.
Citing scheduling conflicts, Adult Swim states that McGruder will not participate in The Boondocks’ upcoming fourth season;
this season was produced without the involvement of Aaron McGruder, when a mutually agreeable production schedule could not be determined.
McGruder has either written or co-written every one of the 45 episodes of The Boondocks’ since its series debut on November 6th, 2005.
The Boondocks’ first season in over three years will premiere on Adult Swim on April 21st.

I heard Dame Dash is in the process of re-forming BlakRoc aka The Black Keys plus rappers like Mos Def, RZA and Pharaohe Monch. I don’t know a lot of details but this is exclusive! The only thing I really heard from a reliable source is that they are working on it. You might know The Black Keys collaborated with Dame and made some great music. They then blew the hell up!
Sorry, there’s not more to say.
Check our feature interview on Dame Dash.

(AllHipHop News) Ray Jasper was once an aspiring rapper who proverbially ended his life during a studio session over 15 years ago. This past Wednesday (March 19th), Jasper was executed for murdering a San Antonio studio owner in 1998.
David Alejandro was the owner of the studio Jasper and two friends recorded in for two hours back in 1998. Following the relatively short studio session, Jasper and his friends “slashed Alejandro’s throat from ear to ear, but did not kill him” according to the Texas attorney general’s statement. Jasper and an accomplice killed Alejandro after they proceeded to stab the already injured man.
The three men stole studio equipment valued upwards of $30,000.
Jasper was convicted in 1998 and a little over two weeks before his execution, Gawker released a letter from him as a part of their “Letters From Death Row” series. In the letter, Jasper contended to his innocence, claiming it was the accomplice who murdered Alejandro and not himself.
Jasper was executed by lethal injection around 6:31 CDT. In his final words Jasper wrote to him family:
To my family, we are one. To my beautiful daughter, the best thing that ever happened to me. I love you endlessly. I am you and you are me forever.
Jasper wrote that he completed “several books and screen plays” in an earlier letter to Gawker posted in January. Jasper also spoke on the racial discrimination of jurors in Texas murder cases:
The controversial issue in my case has been narrowed down to racial discrimination concerning the State of Texas purposely striking Black people from the jury panel. Racial discrimination on trial juries has a long-standing history in Texas. It was really made known in the Thomas Miller-el case where Dallas had a guide for their prosecutors to strike all minorities from the jury panel. So it’s about whether the Courts will consider the issue worth halting the execution.
The case he makes reference to is a 2004 case in Dallas, Texas where Thomas Miller-El accused the prosecutors of removing 10 of the 11 African American jurors from jury selection in his capital murder case based on race. He was initially denied the motion and sentenced to the death penalty before the U.S. Supreme Court granted Miller-El certiorari a second time on June 28th, 2004.
On June 13th, 2005, the Court agreed that there was apparent racial discrimination from the prosecutors in jury selection and chose in favor of Miller-El.

Here is Jennifer Hudson when we called her J-Hud:

And here is Jennifer Hudson of Today:

Late last year, there began some critics that said that she was simply too thin. But now, I am getting word that her people are actually scared for her. They are concerned that she is actually losing too much weight! She was a sexy thicky before and now she looks like she may really have an issue. She left Weight Watchers after losing 80 lbs.
Well, I’m hoping she gains a couple in the right spots and then drops a new album.

(AllHipHop News) While some music watchers still wait for the third installment in Dr. Dre’s solo album discography known as Detox, one of the cuts originally slated for the producer’s long-delayed album made its way on another recent project.

Rick Ross acknowledges that his Bink!-produced track “Mafia Music III” featuring Mavado and Sizzla was supposed to be on Detox, but he says Dre let him have it for his own recently released album Mastermind. The Maybach Music Group leader shared that information on Twitter.
Mafia Music III track was originally for Detox which @drdre gave me for #Mastermind in a session. #Gem

Bink told XXL that he and Dr. Dre made the beat together over a year ago, and Ross was hired to write lyrics for Dre. He also stated that he got clearance from Dre to pass it on to Ross, but he had not heard the final version of “Mafia Music III” that ended up on Mastermind prior to the album’s release.
“When I heard it, it was just Ross and Mavado, but now they added Sizzla to it,” said Bink. “There’s a serious disconnect, to be honest with you, with the music. It’s not like it used to be.”
