(AllHipHop News) Drumma Boy has a long history of working with Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz including crafting tracks for his Trap-A-Velli 2 and T.R.U. REALigion mixtapes. The Grammy nominated producer also contributed to Chainz’s upcoming B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time album, and according to Drumma the LP will be the best project released this year.

“This B.O.A.T.S. II is definitely gonna be the album of the year! The sounds are so fresh and full of energy – perfect for waking up to, riding on the road to, and of course partying to,” says Drumma. “Me and 2 Chainz were in the studio, and when he heard the beat I made he just zoned out into a quiet mumble. He just started coming up with the lyrics straight off the top of the head and after about 10 minutes or so he was in the booth, and we had ‘U Da Realist.'”
“U Da Realist” is dedicated to one of 2 Chainz friends who passed away. The song will appear on the album along with the lead single “Feds Watching” and the Drake and Lil Wayne collaboration “I Do It.”

Drumma Boy has also worked with Wayne recently. The Tennessee native produced the track “Still Got That Rock” off Wayne’s Dedication 5 mixtape.
“I bumped into Lil Wayne recently at the Memphis Grizzlies’ game during the playoffs,” says Drumma. “When he was walking out I told him ‘I still got that crack,’ because every time I bump into him I say that, ‘I got that crack for you,’ so he told me to send it. I did, and the result became the joint ‘Still Got That Rock’.”
2 Chainz’s B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time will be released September 10th. Lil Wayne’s Dedication 5 is available now via datpiff.com. Drumma Boy is scheduled to appear on the September 17th episode of MTV 2’s Wild N’ Out with Machine Gun Kelly.

While lots of 80s rock music can be summarized by long hair, bright lights, and an obligatory ballad, not all of it faded away when the final decade of the 20th century began. Some artists have been given another life via Hip-Hop records which sample them.
One such case is Boston rocker Billy Squier. Of course the name doesn’t ring a bell but pay closer attention to the credits on some of your favorite songs and be amazed.
In recognition of Squier’s 1981 hit “The Stroke” now being sampled on Eminem’s new single, “Berzerk,” AllHipHop came up with a list of the 10 Best songs to sample Billy Squier.
10). “Worker Ant Uprise” by Company Flow
“The Stroke” is a well-known song. It broke into the Top 20 on the charts when it was released in 1981 and has more recently appeared in films starring Adam Sandler, Tom Hanks, and Will Ferrell. Therefore, it’s a risk to sample because of its popularity. But Company Flow took a chance for their ’99 instrumental album which resulted in one of the project’s best cuts.

9). “Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys
While Keys’ empowering chorus is the highlight of this song, “The Big Beat” drum track also helps provide the music to accentuate the commanding vocals. It peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and went double platinum. If only hit singles with substance weren’t so few and far between.
Song Sampled: “The Big Beat”
8). “Out of This World” by A$AP Rocky
One of A$AP Rocky’s strengths is his knack for selecting beats. The Olympicks-produced track closes out Live.Love. A$AP strong as he name drops his contemporaries at the time. “They say Tyga and Diggy, but Rocky been Jiggy/Curren$y from the Wiz ain’t enough to get me home/Can’t really hate when they compare me to Drake/Could have been J. Cole if I met Jay Hov‘.”

7). “Real N****z Don’t Die” by N.W.A
N.W.A wasted no time proving that they had more attitude than ever on their sophomore LP. In one of Dr. Dre’s most memorable productions pre-Death Row, he samples no less than ten records and fuses them all together really well. The skills Dre displayed here showed the early roots of G-funk which he perfected a year and a half later on The Chronic.
Song Sampled: “The Big Beat”
6). “Looking for Trouble” by Kanye West feat. J.Cole, Big Sean, Cyhi Da Prynce, and Pusha T
It’s debatable who had the best verse here, but J. Cole definitely went in on it and so it was rightfully placed as a bonus cut on his Friday Night Lights mixtape. Overall though, it was a great look for GOOD Friday music, and helped newcomers get exposure alongside a superstar producer like Kanye and a more seasoned rapper like Pusha T.
Song Sampled: “The Big Beat”
5). “Ain’t No Half-Steppin’” by Big Daddy Kane
Big Daddy Kane is an agile rapper and “Ain’t No Half-Steppin’” is one of the reasons why. In four verses, he lives up to his claim that he is the Ginsu machete to all other emcees “butter knife” status. A quarter of a century after its release, this Kane classic is still a piece of work that so-called great emcees are being measured against.
Song Sampled: “The Big Beat”
4). “Berzerk” by Eminem
Back around the time Marshall Mathers was being harassed daily by that fat kid named D’Angelo Bailey, a punk band transitioned to rap and blew up as the Beastie Boys. In homage to to their contributions, Em brought back their sound and producer extraordinaire, Rick Rubin, in order for a new generation of Hip-Hop fans to see how old-school never goes out of style.
Song Sampled: “The Stroke”
3). “Hip Hop is Dead” by Nas feat. will.i.am
Nas daringly flipped Iron Butterfly’s “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” for the lead singles to two of his albums in a row. However, one difference between the two records is that “Hip Hop is Dead” also samples Squier’s “The Big Beat.” While Hip Hop is Dead’s title track suggests otherwise, him and will.i.am prove that the Bronx-born culture is alive and well.
Song Sampled: “The Big Beat”
2). “Fix Up, Look Sharp” by Dizzee Rascal
Written when he was just in his teens, British rapper Dizzie Rascal’s “Fix Up, Look Sharp” would be a career highlight. The emcee was far from a one trick pony though because the album on which the song appears won the highly coveted Mercury Prize in the UK and found acclaim in the States too. Chris Rock even named it as one of his 25 favorite rap albums ever in 2005.
Song Sampled: “The Big Beat”
1). “99 Problems” by Jay Z
Not Unlike “Berzerk,” track 9 from Jay Z’s Black Album utilizes vintage sounds and Rick Rubin’s production wizardry. The chorus and title borrow from a 1993 Ice-T record, but while the original focuses on sex, the 2003 version covers more ground. From drug dogs to critics to a male aggressor, Jay overcomes it all in one of the most memorable songs from the 00’s.

Contrary to popular belief being the “different you” and true weirdo that you really are is the best way to get to your dreams and aspirations faster! Your environment grooms you to be the same in order to fit it and survive but truth be told you were born to stand out! Be a Weirdo! Behave in the uncommon way inorder to reach your uncommon goals! Because as the saying goes…. “Today I will do what others won’t, so tomorrow I can accomplish what others can’t” Embrace the perfect you that already exist and take what you deserve!

(AllHipHop News) It seems New York emcee Papoose is on a verbal warpath. After first taking shots at Kendrick Lamar on his “Control” freestyle, Pap has now set his targets on G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean. Seems Papoose took issue to Sean’s actions during a recent interview on The Breakfast Club morning show when Sean answered “who” when asked about Pap.
In response, Papoose released a remix to Sean’s Hall of Fame track “First Chain.” On it he calls the Detroit rapper’s new album “trash,” makes more references to Kanye West wearing women’s clothes, and rhymes “every time they play ‘Control,’ they skip your verse.”

Khloe Kardashian sure picked a winner! All these Black men out here and she picked a crack smoking hooper! And just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, there are now rumors that Lamar Odom has a sex tape on the way. The Star magazine is saying that Khloe will now have to contend with and X-Rated sex tape with Odom and it is now for sale. Seems like he had some dealings with a chick considered a “Hip-Hop dancer” – and POOF – we have the threat of a sex tape! Their source said “[Khloe] wasn’t going to leave Lamar,” our source reveals. “She was trying to get him help and work on forgiving him in an attempt to save their marriage. But this is just too much for her to deal with.” Also, one of my sources told me that Kris Kardashian (who’s show just got cancelled despite the Kanye appearance) is totally trying to destroy Lamar for screwing up the family. Who she think she is? Griselda Blanco?

Meanwhile, he may or may NOT have checked into rehab.

“Berzerk” also places Eminem in a tie with Lil Wayne for most Top 10 debuts by a male artist with 10. It’s his 15th Top 10 single overall. Em now only trails Wayne and Ludacris (18) and Jay Z (20) among rappers all time in that category.
Speaking of Jay, his “Holy Grail” collaboration with Justin Timberlake jumps back into the top 5 on the chart thanks in part to the debut of the song’s video on YouTube. The Magna Carta Holy Grail track rises from 6 to 5.
Eminem’s next album The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is scheduled for release November 5th.
