(AllHipHop News) On June 10th, the trial for the murder of Trayvon Martin will start and a recent ruling by Circuit Judge Debra Nelson stopped any possibility of a delay. On May 23rd, George Zimmerman’s defense team released text message information from Trayvon Martin’s cellphone which mention marijuana use frequently.
Even in the face of new revelations, Judge Nelson decided that no information on Trayvon Martin’s marijuana usage will be admissible in the case, including the results of a toxicology test. In addition, the judge also denied the defense’s request to have the jury visit the gated community where Trayvon Martin was slain.
George Zimmerman’s attorney Mark O’Mara has stressed at length how the June 10th court date is too soon to properly prepare the case.
