(AllHipHop News) Schoolboy Q recently let loose the video for “By Any Means: Part 1.” The nearly nine minute clip was actually inspired in part by The King Of Pop.
“I got the idea from Michael Jackson. You know, the Thriller movie,” Q explained to Hot 97. “I thought it would be cool for me to do a street version, where I come from and my old life.”
The second part of “By Any Means” is expected to be released in the coming days. The song will appear on Schoolboy’s upcoming Blank Face LP set to arrive on July 8.
“Working on an album can be stressful, it could be fun, it could be painful. It could be a lot of things, because you go through all these different emotions while you’re rapping,” said the TDE emcee.
