Chance the Rapper Teams With NBA Legends To Talk Race, Politics and Sports

CHANCE THE RAPPER TO DISCUSS RACE AND POLITICS ON ESPN

(AllHipHop News) Chance the Rapper will take part in a panel discussion on race and violence during a forum being hosted by ESPN and a variety of high-profile athletes later this week.

Chance will appear on “First Take” on Friday (August 26), with NBA Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas and noted scholar and Hip-Hop enthusiast, Michael Eric Dyson.

The rapper’s appearance on “First Take” will launch a series of debate organized by ESPN’s website The Undefeated.

The Chicago-Times reports that Rajah Rondo, Jabari Parker and numerous others are confirmed for the event titled “An Undefeated Conversation: Athletes, Responsibility and Violence” which will happen on Thursday (August 25) at a YMCA on the South Side of Chicago.

The invite-only and an invitation-only event will discuss police brutality, racial profiling and other societal issues.

Chance the Rapper’s segment will air live on ESPN2 from 9-11 a.m.
