(AllHipHop News) Big Sean returned today (February 3) with his fourth studio album I Decided.

The 14-track collection includes contributions from Jeremih, Eminem, Jhené Aiko, The-Dream, and Migos.

With I Decided, Sean is hoping to enlighten his listeners.

He explained some of the motivation behind the new G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam release.

“I have a lot of music to get out, more than can fit into just one album and I’m just excited about making a contribution to the music that people listen to,” Sean told Forbes. “Hopefully it can uplift them, inspire them, brighten their moods, hopefully they can dance to it, they can cry to it, whatever they want to do. I feel like the album hits many different points.”

The Detroit representative continued, “In 2017 it’s definitely necessary and needed right now, especially with all the craziness that’s going on. The concept of the album is really inspiring, so I’m just happy I got to execute it.”

Big Sean’s previous album, Dark Sky Paradise, was released two years prior to I Decided hit stores.

That 2015 LP is considered by many critics to be Sean’s best studio album to date.

I Decided follows the platinum-certified Paradise as well as 2016’s Twenty88 collaborative effort with Aiko.

Prior to dropping the full set, Sean let loose the singles “Bounce Back” and “Moves.”
