(AllHipHop News) Arsenio Hall’s return to late night television has started off with a bang. The New York Times reports that the Monday debut of the program beat out its competitors in the 25 biggest markets.
In those cities, Hall averaged a 1.0 rating in the coveted 18 to 49 demographic compared to Jimmy Kimmel’s 0.8, Jay Leno’s 0.6, and David Letterman’s 0.5.
The premiere episode of the revamped The Arsenio Hall Show featured Chris Tucker, Snoop Dogg, and Paula Abdul. Other guests who have stopped by the show so far this week include Ice Cube, Mac Miller, Magic Johnson, and Nas. Angela Bassett is scheduled to appear on Friday, September 13th.
