T.I. To Star In Fox Police Drama ‘Atlanta’s Most Wanted’

VETERAN FILM/TV PRODUCER JERRY BRUCKHEIMER IS ATTACHED TO THE SHOW

(AllHipHop News) Tip “T.I.” Harris is returning to the small screen.

After appearing on Showtime’s House of Lies and VH1’s The Breaks, T.I. is set to star in a new drama on network television.

Fox picked up the police procedural Atlanta’s Most Wanted.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, T.I. teamed with veteran film/TV producer Jerry Bruckheimer (Bad Boys, Pirates of the Caribbean) for the series.

“I am honored to partner with Fox and Bruckheimer on what is truly a passion project for me. It’s going to be amazing to see my city represented in this fashion,” stated Tip.

The rapper-turned-actor will play a character named Marcus Armstrong who is the son of an Atlanta criminal kingpin.

Armstrong becomes a member of the city’s vice squad which is charged with confronting his hometown’s criminal element.

Rodney Barnes (Everybody Hates Chris, The Boondocks) was tapped to write the script.

Besides his acting work, T.I. is still continuing his music career.

The Grand Hustle leader recently released the video for “Writer” featuring B.o.B. and Translee.
