Kendrick Lamar Covers 2Pac's "California Love" At iHeartRadio Awards (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Kendrick Lamar is seen by many rap fans as the current king of the West Coast – a crown that was once worn by the Hip Hop icon 2Pac. Those are extremely big shoes to fill, but K. Dot does not seem afraid to embrace the legacy of California Hip Hop.

The Compton native channeled 2Pac for his performance at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Lamar covered Pac and Dr. Dre’s classic song “California Love.” He then goes into his own track “M.A.A.D. City.”
