PREMIERE: Team Toon Is Going “Way Up” On Debut For Cinematic Music Group

Team Toon is going “Way Up,” literally. The Gonzales, Louisiana recording artist fell in love with the music at the age of 5, and by the age of 10, she knew this would be her be-all-end-all.

Coming from a musical family, Toon’s mother, Delisa Delpit, made waves as a respected singer, while her father is a renowned guitar player. Her influences outside of her nuclear family ranged from Lauryn Hill to Erykah Badu.

Beginning her career by building her regional fanbase at local talent shows in high school before garnering acclaim across social media platforms, Toon has been captivating audiences all around the southeast.

Today, she goes global by releasing her new record entitled “Way Up,” premiered exclusively on AllHipHop.com.

Toon’s 2020 began taking flight during March when she caught the ears of music mogul Jonnyshipes during a charity event on his IG Live.  Jonnyshipes was hosting an event in which artists from all over the world made a donation to his charity of choice, for the chance of having him review their music on his Live.

Her infectious sound cut through and landed her as the winner of the contest, in turn receiving a singles deal with the label Shipes founded nearly two decades ago – Cinematic Music Group.

On the day of her world premiere, Toon spoke with AllHipHop about the song.

“I was thinking about shooting for the moon. My mind was in a different place, I was imagining what’s the highest place possible? How do you go as far as you can and get everything you can? Real elevation. Way up. That’s where I was: the orbit,” she told AllHipHop.com.

Ending the year on a high note, the sky is truly the limit for the mother of three, who attributes her children as the driving force behind her ascending profile.

“My kids keep me going. Those three faces are like trophies. I look at them and I know they’re proud of what I’ve achieved. My three little besties give me three reasons why I could never stop,” she said.

Drake & Nicki Minaj Use Sada Baby’s “Whole Lotta Choppas (Remix)” To Spark Rumors Of Reconciliation

It’s still not exactly clear where Drake and Nicki Minaj’s friendship stands at the moment. The two Hip Hop superstars came up together under Lil Wayne’s successful Young Money imprint and work together numerous times. However, Drizzy acknowledged on 2013’s “Tuscan Leather” that a private rift did take place.

Then there were allegations the highly-publicized 2015/2016 feud between Drake and Minaj’s then-boyfriend Meek Mill played a big part in the YMCMB rappers falling out even further. Minaj reconciled with Drake in 2017 after she broke up with Meek, but she later threw subliminal shots at both men on the 2019 song “Barbie Going Bad” which was an unofficial remix to Meek’s “Going Bad” featuring Drake.

Today, Nicki showed up on the official remix to Sada Baby’s “Whole Lotta Choppas.” Her verse included the brand new mother rapping, “To be honest, I hope one day we do a playdate with Adonis.” That bar refers to Drake’s 3-year-old son with former model Sophie Brussaux.

The “Whole Lotta Choppas (Remix)” and Nicki Minaj then got a shout out from Drake. The OVO frontman posted about the track on his Instagram Story. He added a caption that read, “[Playdates] soon come [White Heart emoji] @nickiminaj.” Champagne Papi’s mention of his collaborator-turned-frenemy on IG instantly sparked rumors that the two performers could soon reunite on a record.

Yella Beezy, 42 Dugg – Solid (feat. 42 Dugg)

Yella Beezy, 42 Dugg drops off the new track Solid (feat. 42 Dugg). This banger was produced by frequent collaborator Monstah Beats and serves as the latest single from his upcoming album, Blank Checc. The new track follows Yella Beezy’s last released with Young Thug called “Headlocc,” which clocked about 30 million streams.

On “Solid,” Yella Beezy reminds fans of his loyalty, and dedication to maintaining his integrity.  “Ask about me on the street, I’m solid / When it come to the beef, I’m solid / Got to feed my people, I’m solid / Don’t you worry about me, I’m solid.”

Cardi B Reacts To Critics Claiming She’s In A Mentally Abusive Relationship

The marital status of Belcalis “Cardi B” Almánzar and Kiari “Offset” Cephus has gone through more twists and turns in the public eye than a VH1 reality show. Accusations of infidelity and personal conflict have plagued the couple since their 2017 marriage license was revealed a year later.

Cardi reportedly filed for divorce from Offset in September. She claimed the split was over excessive arguing, not cheating issues. While celebrating her October 11 birthday, the “WAP” hitmaker was seen partying with her husband. Both recording artists posted each other on their respective Instagram Stories.

The decision to reconcile with Offset was met with mixed reactions from Cardi B fans and critics. During an IG Live broadcast earlier this week, Cardi expressed, “It’s hard not to talk to your best friend… It’s really hard to have no dick.” She is also quoted saying, “We’re no different than y’all’s dysfunctional ass relationships.”

Apparently that IG Live session did not quell the criticism Cardi was receiving online. This morning, the 28-year-old entertainer posted a video on Twitter addressing anyone that thinks the Migos member could possibly be manipulating her to take him back with expensive gifts and emotional pressure.

https://twitter.com/iamcardib/status/1316982667943006208?s=20

“Twitter users be like, ‘Cardi, you’re in a mentally abusive relationship. Oh my gosh, we gotta save you.’ And I be like, ‘Alright, but can I f### him today? Because I need to have sex.’ N##### in my DMs talking about, ‘Whaddup big head?’ I don’t like that. I’m 28 years old and my head’s not big. Actually, it is but not with a lace front [wig]. The f###?” joked Cardi while smoking what appeared to be a cigarette.

Cardi’s Twitter clip amassed more than 565,000 views since being posted a 2 am ET. As of press time, the 30-second video has been retweeted more than 10,000 times, garnered more than 46,000 likes, and gained more than 1,000 replies. Another video posted about 30 minutes earlier also included the Bronx native sarcastically apologizing to the world for living her life as she sees fit.

Producer Noah “40” Shebib Explains To Kevin Durant Why He Only Works With Drake

Over the last decade, the rapper-producer tag team of Aubrey Drake Graham and Noah “40” Shebib has crafted classics songs and moments. The two creators discovered their musical styles match well together, and many fans have been along for the ride ever since.

As a result, 40 has basically chosen to concentrate his efforts on making beats only for Drake. Even though he has produced for artists like Lil Wayne and Alicia Keys, Shebib was asked about declining to work with non-Drizzy musicians during the second episode of The ETCs with Kevin Durant podcast.

“I probably solidified the decision when I won the ASCAP Songwriter Award three years in a row. And I think it was ’11, ’12, ’13. And so, in ’13 when I won it a third year in a row, I’m sitting there like, ‘Yo, I only have ever worked with one artist. This is crazy. I’m Songwriter Of The year again? This is like, insane,'” 40 told Durant and The ETCs co-host Eddie Gonzalez.

The Canadian added, “That moment, I was like, ‘I’m never working with anybody ever again.’ Because it’s just too much work. It’s too much effort. I don’t need to do that. And it’s a very emotionally exhausting experience to go into the studio with somebody and create from scratch and do all of that. I found one of my best friends, and we make incredible music together. Like, I’m gonna go sit with someone else and have to relearn that energy and figure out what we’re gonna do… And also, I make slow-ass, dark-ass R&B, f##### up, weird music that only Drake knows what to do with. I give that s### to other people, and they’ll look at me like I’m crazy.”

https://twitter.com/OVO40/status/624021399984820224?s=20

40 also admitted he is not interested in branching out to work with other artists because he feels he needs Drake’s help, guidance, assistance, and reassurance. The 2-time Grammy winner then explained that he does not want someone else to have the sound they created because it is more valuable to the OVO pair that way.

“And truthfully, I don’t think every other artist in the world is good enough to take my weird-ass s### and turn it into something as incredible as Drake,” stated 40. “Most people you’d give them ‘Marvins Room,’ [they’d] be like, ‘What the f### is this? S### don’t sound like anything.’ I’d be like, ‘Yeah, it doesn’t sound like anything. Can you make a song out of it? I don’t know. Drake did.’ And when he does that s###, I’m just like, ‘Yeah, f### everybody. He’s the GOAT. I don’t need to deal with no one else.'”

Ice Cube Discusses Donald Trump, Democrats & Black Lives Matter On ‘Roland Martin’

Ice Cube’s decision to meet with the Donald Trump Administration to talk about his Contract With Black America did not go over well with many liberals, social justice activists, and African-American voters. The rapper/actor was accused of “selling out” or “being used” by the Trump campaign just weeks before Election Day.

Veteran journalist Roland Martin invited Cube onto his daily digital show to discuss the alliance with Team Trump. During the interview, which got testy at times, Cube explained he is willing to work with either political party in order to implement changes that will positively impact the Black community.

At one point, Martin asked Cube to show which objectives in Trump’s Platinum Plan mirror his own Contract With Black America. Cube struggled to give an answer before Martin stated that the so-called $500 billion investment laid out in the Platinum Plan is not explicitly for African-Americans.

Additionally, Martin pointed out to Cube that the Platinum Plan does not actually offer any concrete guarantees that will fundamentally change the system. He also informed the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and his audience that the Congressional Black Caucus has several bills that are more closely aligned with Cube’s CWBA than Trump’s Platinum Plan.

When asked for a response to the fact that CBC’s police reform and anti-lynching legislation has already passed in the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives and ignored by the Republican-controlled Senate, Cube answered, “My thing is: keep up the good work. Keep going at it. We got to get it passed. There’s going to be a lot of overlap because we got good ideas.”

Black Lives Matter and Black Voters Matter co-founder Alicia Garza was also a guest on Roland Martin Unfiltered. She specifically challenged Cube on how he can associate himself with an administration that has allegedly been targeting Black organizations and threatening to jail Black protestors.

Cube responded, “Both candidates have their record of what they’ve done to Black people. You can look at them and see them out. I don’t think Black Lives Matter is a terrorist organization. That’s what I think. What the president thinks about Black Lives Matter that’s his personal problem.”

The RMU segment ended with Roland Martin, Ice Cube, and Alicia Garza agreeing that Black activists and Black organizations need to unite in order to effectively passed legislation at all levels of government. Garza closed out by saying, “I think accountability requires a movement. It’s not done over a board room table. It’s done by bringing folks with you.”

Rapper Verse Simmonds Wants $3 Million Allegedly Owed To Him From Akon’s Brother

Former Konvict Muzik artist Verse Simmonds, whose real name is Maurice Simmonds, has filed a lawsuit against his former label and publishing company.

In an Instagram post, the rapper/songwriter posted, “FYI … Today, my lawyers filed a $3 million dollars amended complaint against Bu Thiam and his companies. We were hopeful we could settle this matter, however, we gotta do what we gotta do. I have written hits for the likes of too many major artist to just let this slide and at this point, we have to take it to the courts…. thank u to my supporters and my attorney @jameswalkerjresq for standing with me. Whatever the outcome at least we doing what’s right!”

According to the screenshot of the lawsuit, one thing is clear: the Thiam brothers and Simmonds have not settled their issues from their 2018 case.

In that case, Verse Simmonds sued the same parties, and the copyright dispute was presented before the honorable Michael L. Brown of the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

Abou “Bu” Thiam, the owner of Bu Vision Publishing and international rap sensation Akon are biological brothers.

While Bu could have lived in his brother’s shadow, he distinguished himself as a music executive on his own. The former Vice President of A&R for Def Jam records (who at 28 was the youngest person to have that position) also managed artists and signed them to lucrative publishing deals.

One of whom is T-Pain, who he discovered and signed in 2005. He also managed Kanye West before he stepped out on his own — and stepped his toe in politics.

Verse Simmonds, a Puerto Rican man that grew up in the Virgin Islands, has written and produced the following bangers for your fave artists: “Man Down” for Rihanna, “Who Gone Stop Me” for Kanye West and Jay-Z, “Confident” for Justin Bieber and Chance the Rapper, and the Grammy-nominated “New Flame” for Chris Brown, Usher, and Rick Ross.

Simmonds claims he penned songs for Bu Vision Publishing but has never seen a dime. These aren’t just any old songs either. Verse says Bu owes him money for songs he wrote for Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Trey Songz, and others.

“Charm City Kings” Director Explains How Will Smith Mentored Meek Mill

“Charm City Kings” is this generation’s “Boyz in The Hood.”

It is a coming of age tale that takes us through the lives of a group of young Baltimore boys and the men that they want to become, set against the backdrop of the city’s underground street biking culture.

Based on the documentary, “12 O’Clock Boy,” the movie is produced by Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment and allowed Meek Mill to debut in the acting arena through the unlikely vehicle that once landed him in prison.

The story spotlights Baltimore teen Mouse, who is desperately living in the shadow of his deceased brother who was a leader of the dirt bike gang, Midnight Clique. Now at 14-year’s-old, his summer goal is to join the crew that gave his brother notoriety — a squad run by Meek Mill’s character Blax.

The director, Angel Manuel Soto, talked about the connection between the two Philly rappers associated with the movie, Will Smith and Meek Mill.

“I guess what I know is that they had a lot of conversations,” Soto told Looper. “I know that Meek had just come out of prison and he was getting into the character after that whole process. I know him and Will [had] a lot of conversations, precisely because of that.”

While Will Smith serves as the Executive Producer, the project was brought to him by Caleeb Pinkett, who also srves as a producer.

“Charm City Kings” is available to stream now on HBO Max.

Diddy Gets Frisky With Model On The Beach In Malibu!

“Don’t leave your girl around me! True playa for real, ask Puff Daddy” – The Notorious B.I.G., “One More Chance”

Biggie… you sneaky little dog … you had us looking at you but it was Puff that we could not trust all along!

Sean Combs has been the one allegedly snatching people’s girlfriends — left and right. Think about Ryan Leslie (Cassie) or Al B. Sure! (Kim Porter).

Now, the rumor has it that the music executive is at it again.

Recently, Combs was spotted smooching up on the Australian model Tina Louise, the former girlfriend of 90210’s Brian Austin Green.

On Tuesday, October 13th, while many were locked up in their homes trying to avoid the icky stickies of the coronavirus, Combs and Tina were seen in hanging out on the beach of Malibu — looking quite lovey-dovey. In a video, the two were seen kissing. At one point, she is even seen prancing around sexily in front of the Bad Boy.

The two hid under a towel and seemed to make-out —publicly.

Tina broke up with Brian Austin Green in July. With the looks of the pictures and videos that are out, the model is on the prowl — she has probably met her match with Diddy.

Diddy is probably aware Green also used to date Megan Fox, who is currently in love with Bad Boy artist Machine Gun Kelly.

Clinton Sparks Breaks Down His New Book “How To Win Big In The Music Business”

Clinton Sparks is a man of many talents, and he continues to prove you don’t have to do just one career in a lifetime. While it’s incredible that he’s been nominated for a Grammy, sold over 75 million records, built million dollar businesses, and even launched his own eSports and gaming company, being an awesome dad is what he prides himself in the most.

With an 18-month-old daughter and a 16-year-old son, he somehow magically finds time to juggle his personal and work life — stressing the importance of family and helping others as much as he can.

From the early days of discovering DJ Snake to producing for Lady Gaga to stepping into the limelight as his own artist to helping leas the intersecting of music and gaming, Clinton’s passion and love for music has not wavered in the slightest in the 20 years he’s been in the music business. With his new book, “How To Win Big In The Music Business,” he gives back all the knowledge he soaked up — even making it free online.

When your intentions are pure and you work your ass off, blessings come knocking. Clinton is living proof that dreams do come true as long as you have the right mindset and discipline to push through the obstacles that come with life, and continue on your never-ending journey to the top. Most recently, he released his new project, a 4-track EP titled Ninety3 with healing power for our current times.

AllHipHop: Congrats on your new book, How To Win Big In The Music Business! Talk about making it free online.

Clinton Sparks: I’ve been doing it my whole career. I discovered people like DJ Snake in 2007 in a basement party in Paris. Most of my career has been helping other people win: artists from Rick Ross to Big Sean, helping launch other DJs’ careers on a global scale from Khaled to Drama, even helping conceive the idea for WorldstarHipHop with my buddy Q. I’ve always been someone that’s helped other people win, someone who does things for the greater of the culture. I’ve been shaping and shifting the culture my whole career. Even Diddy famously said, Clinton influences cultures.

I’ve been around long enough to watch rappers come and go, athletes, influencers, the Vine era, Youtubers, I’m seeing it with esports and gaming talent. The biggest problem is all these people with short-lived success don’t have the right tools or the right guidance. Everything from mental to physical health, financial literacy, understanding contracts. If they’re a brand, how to nurture and build that brand, make it sustainable and scalable. I’ve excelled and helped many other people win and become extremely successful. I’ve done it for myself, over and over again in different industries.

In a world now where everybody’s a rapper, singer, producer or a DJ, in an independent, DIY industry that’ll be a 2 billion dollar industry by the end of next year, no one’s really out here helping them who actually has the knowledge and experience. I’ve seen other people out here trying to pawn off courses and webinars, but who are you? Where are your receipts? What did you do that makes me say “oh s###, I gotta listen to that dude”? People out here have one thing, but that’s it. Great, so you’re good at being a DJ or a manager. They don’t have the track record of winning at all of those things, like I have. The main thing is, I actually care about helping people achieve their goals, Always have.

AllHipHop: You’ve literally done everything.

Clinton Sparks: I really am one of one. I’ve won in almost every single arena in the music business. When I give you information, not only am I giving you sound information from someone that’s actually won at what you’re trying to do, but I understand business. I understand psychology. I understand what you need to feel, how to get there, how to tell you what to watch out for and what mistakes you need to avoid. It’s free because I want people to win, but the course isn’t free. The audiobook isn’t free. You can log on now and get the free book at WinBigInMusic.com.

If you take your career serious and you actually really want to win, you’re really a donkey if you don’t go get this free book. What do you have to lose? You don’t take your career that seriously if you’re not getting a book from a guy who’s made millions of dollars, sold millions of records, travelled the world, worked with the biggest artists from Beyoncé to Gaga to Pitbull to Akon to Rick Ross to 2 Chainz. If that guy’s giving you a book for free on how to win and you don’t do it? You don’t really want to win.

AllHipHop: What are we learning in this book?

Clinton Sparks: You’re learning the psychology, the principles and values of how to win. How to network effectively, build an audience, go viral, market and brand and make money, to name a few. To be honest, the principles and values in this book aren’t just for the music industry, it’s transferable to any industry including your own personal relationships. All those things are important to have stability to make a winning career in any business.

If you’re a perfectionist like I am, you never feel you’re doing enough. You don’t think you’re as dope as other people think you are. Everyday I wake up as the broke kid from Boston with nothing, thinking “what can I do to prove my worthiness to people?” What can I do to make people get familiar with me?” I’m never complacent and I’m always grateful. Everyday I look out of my bedroom window with gratitude. H########, this is my house. Holy sh-t, I did this. Talking to you, I see how killer you are. I see your hustle and how much you put your work in, all the people you write and give a platform for. Even you taking my DM. You might look at it like “oh sh-t, I landed a Swae Lee interview.” I look at you like “oh sh-t, I landed Shirley Ju interviewing me.” I appreciate any and everybody, that’s in the nucleus of my success because gratitude goes a long way. If you don’t take people for granted and you appreciate everything that people do, they want to do more for you.

AllHipHop: New project Ninety3 out now, talk about the significance in the title.

Clinton Sparks: I named it Ninety3 because it sounds like the year 1993, it’s very throwback to 90’s R&B. I even have Ricky Bell from New Edition and BBD singing on one of the tracks. I’m really excited. I have a laptop full of incredible music I’ve made throughout the years. In my book, I talk about not waiting for some magical moment that doesn’t exist. Make content, put it out, make content, put it out. A lot of times, people sit and wait for the right time, the right budget, the right deal, the right feature. 2 or 3 years go by, they never put that record out. They wasted it. They’re p##### off because for the rest of their life, “man, this record could’ve been this.” So why’d you hold onto it?

Even worse, someone else comes out with something similar. Now you’re really p##### off, “damn, I made a record just like that!” I took my own advice from my book and started putting my music out. I’ve got way too much music to put out, it’s never going to get covered, synced, or streamed sitting in my laptop.” I put Ninety3 out through Vydia, one of the best independent distributors I’ve ever worked with. They go above and beyond. They even add marketing, they put a bunch of budget towards your projects. I’m really excited about this EP because every song on this project is a vibe and if you love dope chords and concepts then you will love Ninety3. Get familiar and go listen now.

AllHipHop: What are the benefits of distributing with Vydia?

Clinton Sparks: One, they believe in the project. It wasn’t just uploading to their system and running through their platform. Really them believing in me, believing in the project. Putting some marketing budget behind it, really supporting and helping market it. I’m really excited because I’m donating all my proceeds generated from this project to Communities in Schools of Atlanta — a nonprofit that empowers and supports kids and helps keep them in school. I’m a big advocate for helping our youth, especially those who are troubled and don’t have a father or a mother around to help them figure out life. I wanted to find something near and dear to my heart. I’m not making any money off of this, but I’m helping the world be better. That’s more important. Get familiar.

EXCLUSIVE: Young Dolph Accused Of Causing Soldier To Have Mental Breakdown Over Twerk Video

A former sergeant in the Army National Guard claims Young Dolph ruined her career and got her booted from the military after he posted a video of her twerking in her uniform!

A former sergeant from Atlanta is suing Young Dolph for getting her booted from the Army National Guard, which caused her to have a nervous breakdown. Akeisha Norris said she was a friend of Young Dolph’s prior to the fiasco with her video, which was shot when she was on active duty in Kuwait.

In September of 2018, Norris posted a video of her twerking to his song on her account for fun. But things went left when Young Dolph copied the video and placed it on his website to promote his album Role Model.

The booty-shaking video eventually made its way to Norris’ superiors in the Army National Guard, who disciplined Norris and ultimately relieved of her duty as a sergeant.

“[Norris] was called before her superior officers and disciplined, leading to a mental breakdown. As a result, she was sent back to the United States and dismissed from the military,” her lawyer Keith Altman explained.

According to Norris Young Dolph gave her PTSD after he posted her image and likeness without her consent, just to benefit himself financially. Akeisha Norris is suing Young Dolph for invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Norris is suing Young Dolph for compensatory damages for financial loss, damage to reputation, humiliation, mental anguish, and emotional distress. She is also seeking punitive damages against the individual defendants.

Ironically, Young Dolph just released his new self-directed video “Land,” which touches on America’s injustices and shortcomings.

Blac Youngsta Calls Out Dallas Man For Acting Like His Lawyer And Gets A Swift Response

Blac Youngsta had some words for a Dallas attorney who went viral last weekend, after pretending he was representing the rapper.

Blac Youngsta was apprehended in the city on Sunday, October 11th, after the vehicle he was traveling in was pulled over for making it illegal u-turn.

Police reportedly found a gun in Blac Youngsta’s lap and arrested everyone in the vehicle. Blac Youngsta was subsequently lodged into the Dallas County Jail and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

Right after Blac Youngsta was released from jail, he blasted a lawyer named Andrew Wilkerson and accused the lawyer of misrepresenting himself.

“Look, if yall know me, yall know for a fact, every time I ever caught a case you ain’t never seen no b####### ass janky ass lawyer, going and posting a m############ of me n####, what kinda n#### do you think I am?” Blac Youngsta snapped, before explaining how the situation went down.

“This p#### ass n#### come to the jail. They say your attorney, he want to see you or whatever. I said, “huh? My lawyer, my lawyer ain’t from this b####.’ I go to the front, not to mention I’m stuck in a little room. I couldn’t get out the room so the n#### really had me when I got in the room right away. So I get in the room and the n#### come into that m########### talking about he can help. I say ‘look bruh, I don’t need help, long as I been going to jail you should already know. I never been in need for no lawyer ever. I got the same lawyer for 15 years,” Blac Youngsta said.

The Memphis-bred rapper admitted said he told Wilkerson he didn’t need a lawyer, but some of his associates who were locked up for the same charges could use a little bit of help. The rapper said he offered to pay for them.

“I said look if you want to help somebody its about 15, 14 of us in here you [could] probably help one of my little n#####, I’ll pay you for one of them but I’m cool. I don’t need you for me, because I don’t know you. When the n#### realized I need his help and I ain’t want his help he looked at me like I was a crazy d###### n####.”

Shortly after their communication, Wilkerson posted the infamous selfie of himself with Blac Youngsta throwing up the middle finger.

“The n#### posted that b####### on Instagram and yall went for it. But I don’t knock yall, because you know s###, I ain’t here to tell my side of the story. But f### that n####. I feel like anybody got that n#### on a case they don’t lose this s###. I ain’t just trying to say this to embarrass that man and make that man look bad out here. he made himself look bad by posting them lies and s###. “

Wilkerson denied Blac Youngsta’s account, and said he was not clout chasing, he was simply attempting to help a potential client.

“I’m not a car salesman I am an attorney. That’s very confident and proud of the work in the firm that I’ve built my work speaks for itself,” Wilkerson said in a longwinded message on his Instagram account.

Are Cardi B And Nicki Minaj Working On A Collab?

It may be time to bury the hatchet. Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have been two of the most competitive forces in Hip-Hop music. Even more nuanced is the fact that they are women in Hip-Hop. We know that Cardi B came into Hip-Hop at a time when Nicki Minaj was reigning Supreme. There were a few people nipping at her heels but ultimately Cardi B gave her a run for her money. Speaking of “nipping,” Cardi accidentally published her nips on social media. Now, we have Megan Thee Stallion and a bunch of others that are all cooperating for the uplift men of women in Hip-Hop.

Cardi B Addresses Accidentally Posting Topless Photo On Social Media

Now there is a rumor that Nicki Minaj and Cardi B might be working together. This is 2020 folks and anything is possible! Rumors say Cardi B and Nicki Minaj are working on a song called lavish. The Bronx-bred rapper teased the possibility on Twitter and gave us all something to gossip about. Supposedly there is a leaked record out there, but no one can seem to find it so I am going to call BS on this one!.

Nevertheless, will say that Cardi does not want any more beef in her life. Both of these women are mothers now and that, I would assume, is life-changing. I definitely want to see them squash the beef! They could have even done a dope “WAP” remix for the people! I guess time will see but I am just glad that they are no longer throwing shoes and lumping each other up!

Quon – OG Status Official Music Video

Majestic Music Quon drops another banger. The new single “OG Status” is a hot and catchy track that is sure to get the ear of the streets. OG Status is Quon’s view as a veteran from the streets on how the streets are today as opposed to how they should be. Nice production and Quon’s raspy voice over the 808 makes this song a definite heater.

Did Tupac’s Spirit Speak To Tyrese? He Reveals A Spooky Afeni Shakur Story

Tyrese met Tupac once, but their relationship did not stop there, as the soul does not die. Miraculously, the singer, actor, and sometime rapper would eventually meet and have an extremely close relationship with Afeni Shakur, Pac’s revolutionary mother. The relationship was so intimate, she hosted the Watts, CA entertainer at her ranch, and would volunteer herself as the godmother of Tyrese’s firstborn child. The movement matriarch, like the late legendary director John Singleton, would also give Ty the ultimate compliment. He reminded her of her son.

But, there is more. Tyrese explains that  Tupac may have “visited” him while on his mother’s premises and he may not have been happy. Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur talked to Ty at length, in detail, about Afeni, Tupac and why he feels the spirit of the rapper may have paid him a visit in the night.

Tyrese, as told to Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur:

I went to Charlotte. Me and my ex-wife, we were on the brink of divorcing. Mrs. Afeni Shakur invited us to Charlotte…I’ve never told this story. Went to a part of Charlotte where she had a whole ranch and I slept at her place.

Now I swear to God, we’ve all had nightmares. But I never had nightmares on the level that I had while I slept at her house. And she said to me, “Everybody wants to be my son. Everybody wants to try and tap into his gangster and his alpha and being vocal and prolific and speaking up and speaking out about social injustice in the criminal…” It’s just me and mom (Afeni Shakur), she ain’t got no reason to feel what she feels. And she ain’t got no reason to say this to me. Right? “You’re the only one that reminds me of my son.”

I sat back in my chair. And I said the only other person who said this to me was John Singleton. We’re not talking about [Tupac’s] rap career. We’re not talking about what Tupac means to us all and thinking about Tyrese/Tupac we’re not talking about that we talking about Afeni Shakur and Pac’s sister who was also there.

Then she said, “Come here.” I walked outside. And she said, “You see this right here?” I say yeah, she said, “This is my son’s gravesite. In my front yard, I buried his ashes, some of his are ashes, right here.” And she had stones and she had an actual gravesite of Tupac in her front yard. And as I was there, and I had the nightmares that I had, literally, because Pac is the alpha that he is he probably had a problem with the fact that another grown man was sleeping at his mama’s house. I don’t think he had a problem with me, I just think like, bro, brother, I’m alive. Or still here. You know? Who is this man?” Pac is protective of mom.

(Article continues under video)

“Who is this man sleeping at my mama’s house?” I don’t care if she likes you are giving you compliments and saying you remind me of. “I’m Pac whether I’m alive or dead. And I’m gonna protect my mom at all costs. Who is this man sleeping at my mom’s house And I swear, bro, we were there for probably seven-eight days. Horses was there, the ranch – beautiful outdoor. So many conversations, so many heart to hearts. I remember playing him (Tupac) my rap music. I remember so many moments. I’ve never talked about this publicly. But when Ms. Afeni Shakur – mama – passed away, It hit me very differently that it may have hit everybody else, because when I tell you tried to get in front of me and my wife originally at the time divorcing, I tell you she said that’s my grandbaby I’m that baby’s grand, grand, grand godmother. My daughter Shayla. You know godmothers, you can have 10 of them, right? She (Afeni) said, “Shayla – I’m that baby’s godmother. My son (Tupac) never had kids. You remind me of my son so your daughter is my goddaughter.”

So as I do this legendary song with CeeLo Green with all of these uncomfortable images in it. And I continue to speak up and speak out. I’m not just one of them social media activists as living at home tweeting and instagramming from the comforts of my mansion. I’ve been marching speaking up and speaking out. I have rocked with the best of them and what I have done and then what I continue to do may never be on the main stage. But I know what I’m doing and I know what I stand for. And at the end of the day, I will go back to saying, “Why did I open up and go on to so many details and uncensored?”
because this point, there’s only so many shine builders, Rolls Royces, watches and diamonds, video vixens with leg muscles and a##, and cleavage. And all of this that’s going to inspire folks. People need to know the truth. They need to they need you to sit there, be transparent, and unpack it. It’s really good to be on the Forbes list, but we need to know how you got through the mental, emotional and psychological traumas that most people face while getting to that particular net worth.
