DJ Whoo Kid Talks 50 Cent Beating Up Drug Lords & Stealing Biggie Song

(AllHipHop Rumors) DJ Whoo Kid never disappoints with anecdotes and backstories.

In a recent interview with HotNewHipHop, Whoo Kid touches on a number of things such as crazy stories involving Diddy, DJ Clue, 50 Cent, Eminem and more. He also talks about the trajectory of his career.

When it came to 50 Cent, Whoo Kid explained that 50 Cent used to be known as Boo Boo, and Fif was a young Debo-like bully who used to be on the block beating up drug lords that owed him money.

DJ Whoo Kid says this was like 10-12 years before he’d be touring with Fif, so he could’ve never imagined that this would be the person that became a huge artist that he’d be doing arena shows and tours with.

Whoo Kid said he also told a lot of lies to get on such as making fake flyers to act like he was touring in Japan so he could get records since they were so expensive.

He explained that he even was going around lying about him being Diddy’s DJ! LOL!

Obviously him lying about the Puff gig got him far, but it also got him caught up as Puff put him in a headlock when he caught him at SNL and confronted him about stealing and leaking a Biggie record.

DJ Whoo Kid is low key hilarious! Couldn’t you just see 50 running up on folks and beating them up?!

Lil Pump Addresses Storming Off Stage After Throwing A Mic At Crowd

(AllHipHop News) Things got testy at a recent Lil Pump show in Connecticut. Footage of the “Gucci Gang” rapper throwing his microphone into the crowd then quickly leaving the stage has begun circulating around the internet.

According to Pump, someone in the audience tossed an unknown object at him. He addressed the situation in a video posted to social media.

“Sh-t ended because some stupid ass n-gga thought he was funny and he threw some sh-t on stage, and he got his ass socked,” said Pump. “B-tch, don’t you ever try to do no stupid sh-t while I’m performing you f-cking dumb ass.”

The 17-year-old Florida native went on to apologize to his fans for the concert ending early. Lil Pump is scheduled to perform at New York City’s PlayStation Theater on December 12.

Beyonce Beer To Be Pulled After Cease And Desist Letter

(AllHipHop News) A beer named after Beyonce is to be discontinued after brewery bosses received a cease and desist letter objecting to the use of the singer’s name.

Bieryonce, a beverarge made by Brooklyn, New York company Lineup Brewing, was released earlier this month, but its owner Katarina Martinez says only one batch will be sold as she has already received a legal threat telling her to stop using the name.

“As a Hispanic, female run business, I am very inspired by her so I thought I’d pay homage,” Martinez tells Pitchfork Media. “We’re disappointed she didn’t take it as a compliment, but oh well. It was fun while it lasted!”

According to the website, Martinez decided to brew the Bieryonce beer after missing one of the Formation singer’s concerts despite having tickets.

Beyonce is notoriously protected of her brand, and is currently embroiled in a legal battle with bosses at a company called 47/72 Inc., who have filed an application to trademark the brand Poison Ivy Park.

The 36-year-old musician’s legal team have filed an opposition to the application, claiming that Poison Ivy Park is too similar to her Ivy Park clothing brand, named in honor of her five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.

Will.i.am Wants To Follow In Bill Gates’ Footsteps

The Black Eyed Peas star has switched his focus from music to science and tech-related pursuits in recent years, becoming a director of creative innovation with Intel Corporation in 2011 as well as unveiling his company i.am +, where he has helped develop smart watches and iPhone accessories.

When it comes to his decision to work in the field, Will explained that he is now using music to raise awareness and funds for his other interests, and is certain that technology developers will be the rock stars of the future.

“For all the folks on the fence, that want to do something bigger, there’s nothing bigger than (Microsoft co-founder) Bill Gates. There’s nothing bigger than (late Apple founder) Steve Jobs, but you to have the opportunity to try to be that big,” he told the BBC. “And if you try to be as big as Bill Gates and don’t succeed, you will be bigger than Michael Jackson – I guarantee you that. Will has explored science by sitting in on classes held at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and has a fascination with artificial intelligence.

He also explained that it’s not impossible for young people to seek out their dreams, whether it be in music, business or other fields, it’s simply about finding the right tutors and mentors.

“If I can do it, coming from the ghetto, you can do it too. You just have to surround yourself with engineers and discipline future thinkers,” the 42-year-old added.

The rapper is embarking on the “Cold Summer Tour,” which is a six-week outing in support of his new studio album PRESSURE.

Jeezy tapped rising rapper Tee Grizzley as his support act for the 31-date tour, which kicks off at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA on February 7 and ends on March 23rd at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, OK.

Kevin McCall Is Beefing With Chris Brown……AGAIN!

(AllHipHop Rumors) When it seemed like everything may have calmed down between Chris Brown and Kevin McCall, Kevin is back to acting up on social media.

According to McCall, he’s ready for a one-on-one altercation with C. Breezy!

It’s not clear what has been going on with them behind the scenes, but McCall posted a clip of himself in a club posting beside a dancing Breezy.

The footage is clearly old, and McCall asked Brown to pull up on in the same way that he walks up to him in the footage.

“I stay pulling up on you — DOLO and saying [what’s] popping? And u dance and act cool. I came to your hood and [f-cked] with YOUR big homies my Little cousins. Your turn to come to my hood,” said McCall.

Chris has made it clear that he isn’t the least bit bothered by the post as he liked it and laughed at it.

Breezy may have laughed it off, but one of his associates, Sinko, made sure to check McCall publicly.

Sinko put McCall on blast as he stated that McCall has actually been the one making calls trying to get people to squash their beef.

Of course McCall had more to say. He called Breezy and his crew out for “bringing guns to a fist fight.” He also called Breezy and crew a b-tch, and followed up with a video message that said,

“Chris Brown is supposed to be a gangster, right. Why every time he get into something with another man — one person — he gotta have a gang come help him? Chris Brown, you from out of town, my n-gga. My whole city will turn up on you’re ass if you keep it up,” said McCall.

McCall is clearly unstable as he moved on to posting about his faith and love.

He claimed to be a man of God who denounces violence and who walks with love.

Although Kevin was the one who publicly reignited their beef, he says that God is on his side for anyone who has any issues with him.

Kevin ended his antics by claiming that Brown and others had been prank calling him, and he told Chris to watch his back while in his Watts neighborhood.

In my opinion, Chris and Kevin should have to do joint therapy and counseling sessions.

To Breezy’s defense, he didn’t start it this time though. Carry on.

Oh, and I knew Kevin was crazy. Look at how he’s been harassing the mother of one of his children, model Eva Pigford.

Things Just Got Worse For XXXTentacion

(AllHipHop Rumors) This kid XXXTentacion is getting slapped up by the courts. He just got hit wit an additional seven additional charges against him – on top of his other charges. These new charges are the result of him allegedly reaching out to his ex-girlfriend who also is the alleged victim. I would assume with the years and years and years that he is facing, XXX is looking for anyway to get out of this predicament. I clearly don’t know but he’s going to need to be innocent as well as have God on his side. The details are so graphic and evil, to be candid. So, now this dude is asking his fans to come to the court as proof he contributes positive to the world. I’m thinking he’s gotta face the law and look at the judge in the eye.

He is already openly apologizing. I think he’s cracking under this pressure, which is not abnormal.

On Blast: Remy Ma Puts Azealia Banks In Her Place!

Azealia Banks has started a beef with just about every female rapper, actually with anyone ever, so it was only a matter of time before she decided to pick a fight with Remy Ma!

Banks has this weird thing about slandering female rappers only to apologize and kiss their a#### later on.

Either Azealia was just trolling for more attention or she’s really trying to get on Nicki’s good side as she has already called Cardi B a poor man’s Nicki Minaj after she apologized to her.

Banks has decided to go at the wrong one as she’s accused Remy of being obsessed with Nicki.

Azealia posted a screenshot of a quote from Remy Ma’s recent E Bro In The Morning interview, with a caption that detailed her belief of Remy having an unhealthy obsession with Nicki Minaj.

According to Banks, Remy doesn’t count in the female rap convo anymore, and she even tried to diss Remy for having to go on Love & Hip Hop to garner buzz after her stint in jail.

It didn’t take long for Remy to respond, and boy did she respond!

Remy posted screenshots of text messages from Banks over the past year. The text messages showed Banks talking about selling clothes to pay rent, not being able to book shows, and talking sh-t about Nicki Minaj and her lack of Grammy wins.

Azealia also referred to Remy as one of her favorite rappers in the text, and she gave Remy some other compliments that clearly contradicted the caption she posted.

Once Remy responded, Azealia changed her caption, and Remy called her out for that too.

This lead to Remy posting even more screenshots of Azealia talking about wanting to get maintenance on her v##### and more examples of her hating on Nicki.

Well Banks claims that no one has cared about Nicki since her relationship with Meek Mill, and that no one cares about Remy since she came home from jail.

Azealia needs professional help. She clearly isn’t mentally stable, and she really gets a rise out of randomly beefing with people.

Miguel’s ‘War & Leisure’ Opens In Top 10 On Billboard 200 Chart

War & Leisure opened with 40,000 units placing the LP at #9 on the Billboard 200 chart. Miguel previously hit #2 with 2015’s Wildheart and #3 with 2012’s Kaleidoscope Dream.

Miguel’s latest album hosts the “Sky Walker” single featuring Travis Scott. The song has peaked at #23 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, at #14 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, and #10 on the Rhythmic chart.

French Montana Ethers Rick Ross’ Ex Lira Galore!

XXXTentacion Releases ‘A Ghetto Christmas Carol’ Ahead Of Court Date

(AllHipHop News) XXXTentacion has spent the last few days trying to rally his fans to support him as he faces a looming legal situation. The Florida rapper posted the location of his upcoming court proceedings on Instagram in the hope that his followers will show up at the building on the day of his hearing.

Early this morning, XXX changed the subject from judicial system drama to new music. He shared a 5-track EP titled A Ghetto Christmas Carol.

“I get bored of music sometimes because everybody else sucks!” wrote the Lauderhill native on SoundCloud.

Prosecutors accuse Jahseh “XXXTentacion” Onfroy of committing aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and witness tampering. The 17 album creator is scheduled to return to court on December 15. XXX has denied all charges.

Mary J. Blige, Issa Rae & ‘Get Out’ Earn 2018 Golden Globe Nominations

(AllHipHop News) It’s official. Jordan Peele’s 2017 thriller Get Out is up for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards.

Get Out’s submission as a comedy caused controversy online last month. Jordan originally responded to the studios’ decision by tweeting, “’Get Out’ is a documentary.”

The director further addressed the Golden Globes nominating process in an interview with IndieWire. He made it clear that the Best Drama section was more appropriate for the film.

“What the movie is about is not funny,” stated Peele. “I’ve had many black people come up to me and say, ‘man, this is the movie we’ve been talking about for a while and you did it.’ That’s a very powerful thing. For that to be put in a smaller box than it deserves is where the controversy comes from.”

Get Out will compete against The Disaster Artist, The Greatest Showman, Lady Bird, and I, Tonya for Best Musical or Comedy. The Best Drama category features Call Me By Your Name, Dunkirk, The Post, The Shape of Water, and Three Billboards.

Other notable nominees include Issa Rae (Insecure) for Best Actress in a TV Series – Musical or Comedy, Black-ish for Best TV Series – Musical or Comedy, Master of None for Best TV Series – Musical or Comedy, Anthony Anderson (Black-ish) for Best Actor in a TV Series Musical or Comedy, Aziz Ansari (Master of None) for Best Actor in a TV Series Musical or Comedy, and Mary J. Blige (Mudbound) for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture.

Blige also picked up a nomination for Best Original Song – Motion Picture (Mudbound, “Mighty River”) with co-songwriters Raphael Saadiq and Taura Stinson. Mariah Carey and Marc Shaiman were listed in the same category for “The Star” from The Star.

‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ Filming Stopped After Hit-And-Run Incident

(AllHipHop News) Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta is currently shooting another season, but a violent moment at a local store caused a stop in production this week. A TMZ article alleges a security guard with the show was struck by an angry driver in a parking lot before filming of the scene began.

The website reports:

We’re told security was saving a parking spot for the production, which p##### off the customer. Witnesses tell us he revved the engine and struck the security guard … injuring his left leg. According to cops, the driver went inside a nearby golf store before fleeing. Cops spoke to staffers at the golf store to ID the driver, and got surveillance footage of the incident from another store. No arrests yet.

Mimi Faust was apparently at the scene when the incident took place. She nor anyone from the cast has been named as possible victims or perpetrators in the assumed hit-and-run situation.

Lakeith Stanfield Trolls Fans On ‘Atlanta’ Season 2 Premiere Date

(AllHipHop News) Details about the return of Donald Glover’s Atlanta have been scarce. Glover made it clear that season 2 of the show was delayed because of his turn as Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Then in September, reports began to circulate that filming for new episodes began in the Georgia capital. Stars of the show have also begun uploading pictures of the cast to social media.

An Instagram post by Keith Stanfield (Darius) really excited and confused fans of the comedy. Throughout the day, he edited the photo’s caption multiple times with different possible premiere dates for Atlanta.

Stanfield changed the message from April 2018 to December 2018 to January 2019 to March 2019 to March 2020. As of press time, the date reads January 2019.

The FX network has not officially announced a debut date for the Emmy-winning series. Glover spoke about why has taken so long to follow up 2016’s season 1.

“I’m not the type of person to rush anything.
