(AllHipHop News) The Feds are after a paltry amount of cash Tekashi 6ix9ine earned while he was running wild with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
In addition to slapping the rap star with a $35,000 fine, the Feds are going after $2,000 6ix9ine made brokering a drug deal in Brooklyn back in the summer of 2018.
If he doesn’t pay the money, the Feds could start seizing his assets and property, although its doubtful Tekashi 6ix9ine would have a problem paying off his fines since he reportedly signed a record deal worth an estimated $10 million.
Tekashi 6ix9ine was sent to prison for two years after he decided to cooperate with the Feds in a RICO conspiracy against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
Tekashi 6ix9ine’s testimony helped secure plea deals and convictions for all 12 of the defendants charged in the case.

There is more to this whole thing – just when you think you have heard it all. It seems like all that singing to the Feds has gotten Tekashi a permanent job snitching on people. TMZ reports: “In addition, 6ix9ine must continue to cooperate with the U.S. Attorney’s Office once he’s released from prison in any ongoing investigations where he might be useful.” That basically means he is stuck helping the cops/feds and others as they see fit.
I could be stupid, but I think this casts a different view on his re-entry back into the game. Right? It is one thing to be a former snitch, but to continue to be a snitch at the beck-n-call of the feds!? WHEW!

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West premiered a revised version of his latest opera “Mary” in New York on Sunday (December 22nd).
The rapper’s most recent production took place earlier this month at the Miami Marine Stadium and was accessible only via motorboat, and the star later revealed plans to take the production to the Lincoln Center for a second staging.
Along the way, the “Gold Digger” star made several changes, introducing an elaborate new set with tall rows of what looked like wheat on either side of the stage concealing the orchestra, and in the center of the stage underneath the choir, which was on a riser at the back.
Kanye once again appeared in the performance, sitting on a chair in front of a music stand downstage right as narrator, while the silver outfits from the Miami show were replaced with skin-colored T-shirts and sweatpants reminiscent of his Yeezy line.
Songs in the production, which included new arrangements of older Kanye songs and Christmas classics, were also placed in a different order than in the first production, and each audience member was given a program complete with each biblical reading, as well as each of the songs being performed, so they could follow along throughout the show.
While the show once again began over an hour late, the acoustics were significantly improved and there were far less technical blunders this time round.
TV personality Gayle King, comedian Michelle Wolf, and fashion designer Dapper Dan were all in attendance to support Kanye, along with his wife Kim Kardashian and daughter North West, who was reportedly a hit with the audience as the six-year-old made her way to her seat.

(AllHipHop News) R&B singer August Alsina was in the spirit to clapback on Sunday. After uploading a video to Instagram of himself singing lines from the Gospel song “Way Maker,” Alsina began addressing some of the people in the comment section.
One person took the opportunity to suggest that the 27-year-old was homosexual. An IG user named @_rastabrown wrote, “Did anybody see how he dub’d all the females lol GAY.”
Alsina fired back with a lengthy post which started by referring to @_rastabrown as a “bull dagging butch.” The “Today” performer then defended himself for interacting with his fans.

Each of the kids has a parent in prison for technical probation violations, who has been incarcerated for technical probation violations or had their probation extended due to a technical probation violation.

“Took my video off YouTube…Now let me see you take it off PORNHUB LOL,” wrote O.T. Genasis on his Instagram page.
There has been speculation that Keyshia Cole may have had “Never Knew” taken down from YouTube because the song is a remake of her single “Love.” The R&B singer recently expressed that she wanted her “classic” to be left alone.

The mogul claims they were infringing on his copyright for using lyrics from his classic song “99 Problems” in one of their books, which teaches kids how to learn the ABCs.
The company also denied that they are infringing on Jay-Z’s trademark, saying they printed a clear disclaimer stating the use of the artists’ names does not constitute an endorsement of their book.
So far, it appears Jay-Z is the only artist to challenge The Little Homie for lifting lyrics.
The Little Homie is also selling books featuring lyrics from Beyonce, Nas, and even gangster rapper 50 Cent.

Damon accused Jay-Z of devaluing the brand by disassociated himself with it, only to launch a new “Roc” brand – Roc Nation in 2008 – in a $150 million deal with Live Nation.
Damon said the root of the problem was Jay-Z’s ego. According to Dame, Jay-Z could not share the spotlight with his former partner.
“He wanted to be the boss and have people work for him for 25 years straight, which is what happened,” Damon told 92.3’s Big Boy during a recent interview.
It’s doubtful the legendary trio will ever reconcile either according to Dame.
“No matter what, I feel he robbed me. Period. And no matter what, I’m always gonna feel that way,” Damon said.

I did my normal look around the internet and saw that there was a song with Cardi and Nicki Minaj…AND Megan Thee Stallion! And I was running to hear it! I think my mouth watered on my tee-shirt a little bit too. And the end result was THIS….
I am cracking up! I looked at the video and saw my ratchet bae Cardi in all of her glory! And then some dudes start rapping and I am like….”WHO TF IS THIS?” Then I keep looking. No Nicki. No Da Baby. No Megan. Only Cardi! These dudes just trolled the whole world, saying that this song existed but just long enough that non of the people included could refute it. Now, I thought by default, this means Cardi WAS in on the gag, but we don’t know that for sure. They certainly pooled their money together to get her on the song in all her glory.
Now, the song is pretty short. Do you think there is more with the other three artists? I would say no, but if they got Cardi, they may be able to get some of the others. Still don’t know their rap name so that’s a piece missing in the puzzle.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has officially revealed that Chicago natives Chance The Rapper and Common will be headlining the musical performances at next year’s NBA All-Star Game.
The game is slated to take place on Sunday, February 16th at United Center in Chi-town, featuring halftime shows from the three-time Grammy Award winners.
It’s a family affair as Chance’s brother Taylor Bennett will also perform at the halftime show of NBA Rising Stars two days prior (February 14th) at the same venue.
Now in its 69th consecutive year, the All-Star Game will air at 8 pm EST on TNT, reaching audiences in over 200 countries and territories and broadcasted in over 40 languages.
Common will be opening the show and welcoming fans as he pushes the narrative of what basketball as a whole means to the city, followed by an introduction of the players from both teams.
This will take place right before tip-off at the 2020 NBA All-Star Game.
Chance The Rapper and Taylor Bennett have also partnered up with the NBA, the Chicago Bulls, and the Chicago Sports Commission to develop community and fan-driven programs while serving as NBA All-Star Ambassadors.
