The NYC based entertainer has had the distinction of sharing studios and stages with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Logic, B.O.B, Macklemore, Schoolboy Q and many more. He has also earned prime exposure through features and song placements with MTV U, Pepsi, and Fuse TV. Boneyafterparty is a 3-man Hip Hop group from Pensacola, FL, most known for their single “Blue Rain.”

(AllHipHop Rumors) I know this is not new news, but I noticed it wasn’t being covered by the site. Who knows why, but I feel it is very worth it! I found it odd that ASAP Rocky even decided to go back to Sweden when it was already a huge deal that he was able to get out of jail scott-free. But then to get a job too? Even crazier!
He’s been hired (I assume) to re-design the prison uniforms so the inmates can look cute or something? I honestly am not sure. Since this story is actually a couple of days old, let me look.
It is very simple. ASAP volunteered his skills as a fashionisto to getting the jailbirds of Sweden fresh again! Aftonbladet is the site that broke from a recent interview with the Harlem legend. “When I was going through my whole situation, the whole time I used to look on television and see Swedish fans showing me so much love and I want to give it back,” he said. He also said that he wanted to give clothing to inmates, but it has not happened yet.
(AllHipHop Rumors) I am sick of these rumors around Tekashi 69. But this is the job! So, let us continue on with the rumors surrounding Tekashi. The latest rumor is that the boy is going to be out before Christmas! They may just let him loose so he can get his daughter some toys! But, I wouldn’t mind if he was out and about, because I want to see how the story ends. Not to say that it will end…so lets say “the next chapter.”
But the word is they are going to get him home within 30 days! Can you believe that? This is what snitching gets you vs football numbers in jail. I think they have successfully broken down the greatness of crime! I don’t do crime, but if you do, you should certainly be “bout that life” enough that you just do the time when you get caught.
Tekkie’s girl, Jade has allegedly reported that her man will. be home next month – December!
The other rumor is that Tekkie will have an armada of security and guess who will provide it? The same dudes that keep Floyd Mayweather safe and sounds are the same dudes that will reportedly protect Tekashi 69 from the clutches of bangers that want revenge. I am not sure if that is going to be enough, but it is definitely going to cost him a TON of money!
And while this sounds like some breaking news, it ain’t. Last year, when he was free, 69 was using the boxer’s old guys. I guess only the best will suit the best!
(AllHipHop News) Cardi B has high hopes for her daughter Kulture.
Cardi B hitmaker shares the 16-month-old with rapper husband Offset, and despite having just celebrated her first birthday, the star revealed she’s already thinking ahead to her daughter’s future.

“I wish for her to be a successful businesswoman,” Cardi expressed, adding she also hopes the young girl will grow up to be “independent” and “confident.”
The Grammy Award-winning star went on to share some words of advice for the tot based on her own life experiences, adding: “Don’t listen to what people say and to dream big and follow it.”
Meanwhile, Cardi also revealed what being a mom has taught her so far, explaining: “The biggest lesson is that you’re never ready on time… things don’t go as you plan, never.”
DAMIAN isn’t just big on positive energy, he is positive energy. Since he was little, the Mission Viejo native has always loved creative arts.
Furthermore, he’s always wanted to take his art and use it to inspire other people — of course, while exuding that positive energy.
His lyrics stem from real-life experiences, showing audiences they are not alone in this thing called life.
Now signed to Treacherous Records, the West Coast recording artist unleashed his debut single “Closer,” with a fire visual to match.
AllHipHop: How far is Mission Viejo from LA?
DAMIAN: It’s only an hour and 40 minutes. Bad traffic, 2.5 hours. I was driving 2.5 hours every day to get to the studio when I first partnered with Treacherous Records.
After a while, Tico and Mickey told me “we want to partner and move forward on your music.” I just bailed on Mission Viejo, left my childhood home and came up here.
What’s crazy is I had a girlfriend at the time, she was going to school and living with me. I let her live rent-free for a long time.
She graduated and got her degree in Advertising, now she has a wonderful job out here for an advertising firm in downtown Los Angeles. She said “I’ma do the same for you now. Let’s move up here, quit your job. Let’s get a place. Now you’re in school.” Now I spend my time doing this.
AllHipHop: Talk about your mantra: “build, create, inspire.” Why is it important for you to promote positivity?
DAMIAN: For me, I’ve been in that dark place before. Before I got my head on straight and fell into the belief of God and positive energy, I was in a real dark place. Getting to where I’m at now and being able to help my siblings, my friends, my peers with the things they’re going through based off the events I’ve experienced, it just showed me everything happens for a reason.
If you look at it the right way, things that might feel like the worst thing in the world can actually be the biggest blessing. You don’t know if you’re going to save the life of someone else you cared for later on down the road, because of that experience. My grandfather was a big advocate for the Philippines. His thing out there was to build communities, create and inspire other young Phillipinos to do great things with their lives. I took the same thing and wanted to do it to a bigger scale. I want to show the world: positive energy is key. There’s a lot of bad and good in all of us but if you learn how to focus more on the good, you know how to focus more on feeling and spreading that energy. You get caught in this rotation that truly feels like heaven on earth almost.
AllHipHop: What or who inspired “Closer”?
DAMIAN: “Closer” was inspired through some events that happened in my life, in my love life really. Before we moved up to LA (in my relationship that I’m currently in), I kept trying to push away my girlfriend. Because I knew it was real, I knew I’d do anything I needed to be successful in music. I just felt being in a relationship wasn’t realistic at the time. It affected my music because I wanted to be with her. I tried to leave her, I couldn’t leave her. Every time I tried, it was almost a bluff like I was faking. Eventually, I looked at it and went “damn, what do I do? I love this chick, but I love my music.”
I ultimately felt I had to choose one or the other, but then I had an epiphany. What if I just try to bring her closer and just do it together? That’s the crazy part about her schooling, she was a child development major. When we sat down and had this talk, she made the decision to switch to advertising so she could become closer to my music. That’s what inspired that song. When I wrote it, I’m like wow. Sometimes, you’re self-sabotaging what you have and what you need to do. Just be a little bit more open-minded and bring that individual closer.
AllHipHop: Who’s in your Top 5?
DAMIAN: Kendrick Lamar. Anderson .Paak for sure. Miguel, I’ve been listening to a lot of him. His songs really just get me on a vibe. Frank Ocean, 100%. Moving into another genre, Jason Mraz. He’s hasn’t been around for a little bit, but I listened to him a s##t ton growing up and still do now. Just vibes. He definitely accomplished what I’m trying to accomplish, I feel good listening to his music. Sometimes his songs feel therapeutic to me, so it’s tight.
AllHipHop: Anything else you want to let us know?
DAMIAN: I’m excited, we’ve been working really hard. “Closer” is my first single, the video just dropped today. So far, the response is amazing. I’m grateful for everybody who’s been part of the process, grateful for everybody who’s supporting me. Grateful to be sitting here and meeting you today, having this interview. I hope everyone hops on with me. Build, create, inspire!
(AllHipHop News) Former Roc-A-Fella Records boss Damon Dash was briefly locked up after police finally arrested him over a massive back child support bill.
According to reports, the 49-year-old turned himself in today (November 20th) after he was accused of “fleeing” the state of New York over arrest warrants for owing over $400,000 in unpaid support.
Damon is accused of owing the small fortune to the mothers of his children, Cindy Morales and Rachel Roy.
“I’ll sit in jail for three or four days or whatever they want to accuse me of doing. I’m an innocent man, so there’s no reason for me not to go turn myself in,” Damon Dash snapped although he remained on the lam. “I’m sick of my name being compromised and I want my company back.”
Just last week, Damon blasted reports he was growing broke after it was revealed he was struggling to pay back a $2,400 debt in a separate legal battle.
Damon isn’t broke, because director Lee Daniels is paying him over $1.7 million to squash a dispute related to a Richard Pryor biopic.
(AllHipHop News) Members of veteran Hip-Hop group Poor Righteous Teachers claim they are due a boatload of money – from Sony Entertainment.
The Trenton-New Jersey-based group signed with Profile Records in 1989.
Shortly after inking their deal, Poor Righteous Teachers dropped one of hip-hop’s most enduring singles, “Rock Dis Funky Joint.”
Profile was eventually sold to Arista in 1997, thanks to hit records supplied by groups like PRT, Run-DMC, DJ Quik, Rob Base, and DJ EZ Rock and others.
But the rap group claims Profile, Arista and Sony have never paid them a penny for any of the four albums they recorded.
“Their conduct has been unjustified, continuing to cause plaintiff financial hardship, extreme anxiety and discomfort,” a lawyer for the group said.
Lawyers for Poor Righteous Teachers went after Sony for their money in 2009, but they claimed they were stonewalled.
But the group maintains death is exactly what Sony wanted.
PRT claims Sony executives deliberately stonewall black artists by “delaying the resolution of disputes over intellectual property rights with artists of color who lack financial resources to create leveraged advantages, such as the ultimate death of such artists by attrition over time.”
To make matters worse, Sony continues to exploit PRT’s classic songs, including “Rock Dis Funky Joint,” on YouTube, Spotify, and other popular streaming platforms.
Sony is also making some money by the PRT classic, which was recently featured in Hulu’s “Wu-Tang Clan: An American Saga.”
Members of Poor Righteous Teachers are going after millions from Sony in damages for conversion, theft, copyright infringement, unjust enrichment, and negligence.
(AllHipHop News) Machine Gun Kelly marked the two-year anniversary of Lil Peep’s death with an emotional performance of his track, “Walk Away As The Door Slams.”
The hip-hop star, real name Gustav Ahr, died of an accidental overdose at the age of 21 in November 2017.
Last Friday, Peep’s estate commemorated the late artist by dropping the “Everybody’s Everything” documentary and album, which contained an acoustic version of the 2016 tune.
And sharing a clip on Instagram MGK, real name Colson Baker honored the star with his own cover of the song.
“I just wanted to help now im goin to hell walk away as the door slams… @lilpeep thnx for taking this video @rookxx (sic),” the star captioned the video of him playing a black guitar and singing along to Peep’s vocals on what looks to be the back of his tour bus.
The rapper went on to empathize with Peep’s addiction issues and said he wished he could have talked to him prior to his passing.
“Look, wish Lil Peep and me had spoke, but I can’t get that back,” he sang in regret.
(AllHipHop News) Rapper Pras is fighting allegations from his ex-wife suggesting he’s been hiding his money in a bid to win a reduction in his child support payments.
The former Fugees star, real name Prakazrel Michel, is currently having to hand over $4,800 a month to Angela Severiano to help care for their son Landon.
Severiano’s lawyer, Robert Wallack, believes Pras isn’t telling the whole truth after discovering a secret bank account listed under the name of one of his companies.
The account had been used to make and receive various payments totaling around $1 million in the six months up to September.
Speaking in New York’s Manhattan Family Court on Tuesday, Wallack told the judge, “We found that Pras uses a complex web of shell companies to mask his true financial resources. What we uncovered was not only astonishing, but it proved that everything Pras has told this Court was a lie.”
Wallack is seeking to have Pras pay $60,000 to cover his ex’s attorney’s fees, and also settle his outstanding child support debt and related costs, which are close to $125,000.
A representative for Pras, who was not present for Tuesday’s hearing due to a death in the family, insists the rapper is happy to grant Severiano’s requests.
But he is “not authorized to pay child support from his business” and can therefore only send her a check once his personal funds are released by government agents.
Spokesman Darrell Johnson explained to the New York Post’s Page Six, “We would commit to catching up on payments once the money is released. He has no problem with attorney’s fees.”

Her husband Offset also phoned in to ask a few questions about marriage, prompting his partner to reveal, “I always feel like I know everything, and he taught me that I don’t.”

(AllHipHop News) Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson took a break from trolling his own Power co-star Naturi Naughton long enough to show love to a popular music artist. 50 Cent uploaded a video of Lizzo twerking to his Twitter page and added a suggestive caption.
” Now that’s the love boat, I’m not saying you can’t Handel [sic] it, but you can’t Handel [sic] it. ♂️ big sexy #LeCheminDuRoi #bransoncognac,” wrote the G-Unit leader.
50 Cent likely got enough mentions about spelling “handle” wrong twice that he returned to the social media platform to address the grammar blunder. He blamed the typo on his iPhone not catching the error.
“F*ck y’all my spell check not working,” posted the 44-year-old entertainment magnate. “I was typing fast, I’m not gonna fix it since it’s so entertaining.”
For her part, Lizzo seemed appreciative of 50 Cent’s social media shout out. The “Good As Hell” vocalist retweeted Fiddy’s “big sexy” message to her 1.2 million followers.

(AllHipHop News) Some people were shocked to learn A$AP Rocky is returning to Sweden for a concert after being convicted of assault there earlier this year. Besides performing, Rocky offered another explanation for why he is traveling back to the European nation.
“When I was in Sweden I met so many people like myself,” the man born Rakim Mayers told a TMZ cameraman. “All of those immigrants didn’t really have the kind of support that they need. Me, being a celebrity, I had worldwide coverage. We had the American embassy.”
He continued, “These people come from countries that they don’t have help. Sweden – they take in immigrants. I just felt like I wanted to give back… We’re donating with the immigration service called FARR that helps a lot of immigrants get the right kind of help that they need.”
Rocky expressed he is not concerned about potentially being caught up in another violent case while in Sweden. The 31-year-old American also avoided answering a question about whether he ever spoke to President Donald Trump about the situation.
The rapper was detained in Stockholm for more than a month before he was found guilty and given a suspended sentence. Mayers and two co-defendants claimed self-defense against the alleged victim for the street fight that took place on June 30.
(AllHipHop News) Dave East needed to get some things off his chest. There were rumors circulating that his Survival album sold less than 3000 units in its first week of release.
When the official numbers came back, East saw his debut studio album pull in around 22,000 units to open at #11 on the Billboard 200 chart. The Harlem-bred emcee took to Instagram to call out media outlets that pushed the “poor sales” narrative.
