J. Cole Announces Gang Starr’s “Family And Loyalty” As His Final Feature

(AllHipHop News) Has J. Cole’s historic two-year run of features come to an end with Gang Starr’s “Family and Loyalty”? According to the Dreamville Records boss, the answer is yes.

“This [an] honor to be on this song. NEW Gang Starr . This is the last feature you’ll hear from me. Thank you to everybody I got to work with during this run. @REALDJPREMIER. This song a classic, thank you. RIP GURU,” tweeted Cole on September 20.

Over the last two years, Jermaine Cole showed up on records by Royce da 5’9, Jay Rock, 6lack, Moneybagg Yo, J.I.D, 21 Savage, Offset, Ari Lennox, Rapsody, Anderson. Paak, Big K.R.I.T., Ty Dolla $ign, Young Thug, and more. He also contributed several verses to Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III compilation.

The North Carolina native’s last full-length solo studio LP was 2018’s KOD. That same year, Cole discussed releasing an album called The Fall Off and a separate project as his alter ego kiLL edward.

KOD was Cole’s third consecutive album that did not include any guest appearances. A 2019 feature for GQ included the 34-year-old Roc Nation emcee explaining why he decided to do more collaborations.

“I’m starting to realize like, oh sh*t – let’s say I stopped this year. I would feel like I missed out on certain experiences, you know? Working with certain artists, being more collaborative, making more friends out of peers, making certain memories that I feel like if I don’t, I’m gonna regret it one day,” said Cole.

Did Isaiah Rashad Promise His Fans New Music Is Coming Soon?

(AllHipHop News) It seems new tunes from Isaiah Rashad are on the way in the very near future. Some of his supporters believe Rashad hopped into a Reddit page dedicated to the Top Dawg Entertainment emcee to address his fans.

One r/IsaiahRashad user wrote, “What’s the purpose of staying quiet? N not dropping anything at all?” Then ilsunny423 (labeled “the real zay”) responded, “I gotchall in a few weeks.”

Later in the thread, ilsunny423 posted, “Sh*t def has been going on wit my life. I quit drugs and all that sh*t.. so life has been different this past half year…. adjustments… the stuff I like is different… the things that are important to me are different… I love rap. I love making art. Busting a flow… just been lining my values up with my lyrics ya dig me.”

Isaiah Rashad released his breakout EP, Cilvia Demo, in 2014. His critically-acclaimed debut studio LP, The Sun’s Tirade, arrived two years later. His next body of work is tentatively titled The House Is Burning.

A recent tweet from Top Dawg Entertainment President Terrence “Punch” Henderson seemed to confirm that TDE acts are currently working together on new music. Los Angeles rapper Reason tweeted, “The whole gang in one studio for the next month .” Punch replied, “Lol. Yea.”

CupcakKe Quits Music Industry After Ranting About Camila Cabello & Shawn Mendes

(AllHipHop News) It was a wild weekend for CupcakKe. The Chicago-bred Hip Hop artist was trending on Twitter after she began sub-tweeting about Popstar couple Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes.

“Your ‘fav’ that use to be in that lil pop group is racist but WBK,” posted CupcakKe on Saturday, referring to former Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello. “The one that’s dating the fine gay guy.”

CupcakKe later added, “Yes sis …. I f*cked your man … & I did it on purpose since your racist ???? & that’s the TEA‼️ let’s tell the world become I grab the receipts.”

The tweets quickly spread with fans wondering if the 22-year-old was exposing the truth or trolling for attention. CupcakKe took to Instagram Live to address her questionable behavior on Twitter.

“Recently, the past night and today, I just been sporadic and it’s because I wanted to get as much attention as possible to let y’all know that I will no longer be doing music. And all of my music will be coming off of every platform,” said CupcakKe.

She continued, “I decided to give up, or wouldn’t say give up, I would say let go of music because I feel as though I’m corrupting the youth.” The Ephorize album creator built a following from sexually-explicit songs such as “Best D*ck Sucker,” “C######,” and “Old Town Hoe.” She also presented records promoting LGBT rights and female empowerment.

In her IG Live broadcast, CupcakKe stated that she has a gambling addiction and lost $700,000 in a casino in 2018. Earlier this year, the artist born Elizabeth Eden Harris was hospitalized for suicidal thoughts and depression. Her Twitter and Instagram accounts have been deleted.

Larry Johnson Responds To Critics Saying He’s Hating On Megan Thee Stallion

(AllHipHop News) Former NFL running back Larry Johnson once publicly stated that he may be suffering from CTE. Some social media users are wondering if Johnson’s recent actions on Twitter are the result of the brain degenerative disease caused by head trauma.

A quick scroll down the 39-year-old’s timeline will show tweets about “devil horns,” “Baphomet rituals,” “witchcraft,” and “Satan.” Plus, he has seemed to take a particular interest in Megan Thee Stallion.

On September 4, Johnson even suggested the death of Meg’s mother was somehow connected to the Houston-raised rapper signing to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation management.  He tweeted, “Her mother, who was her manager died in the month of March 2019, the same month of her ‘break out.’ Music industry filled with the easily corrupt fatherless children looking for Satan to be the ‘daddy’ they never had.”

Megan fired back, “Just because YOU found out about me around the time my mother passed does not make what you’re saying accurate. I’ve been grinding for so long and would appreciate if you weirdos on the internet would stop trying to associate my mother having A BRAIN TUMOR with the f*king devil.”

Johnson continued to take aim at Megan Thee Stallion. On Sunday, the two-time Pro Bowler returned to the platform to respond to people that took issue with his statement directed at the “Hot Girl Summer” performer.

“For those who think I was hating on @theestallion Meg the pony, cuz you think [I] wanted to sleep with her don’t know my history, I had better. Julissa Bermudez. (I wanted [to] marry) Chilli – TLC Mya Draya … and a bunch of distant never minds. Don’t DM me,” tweeted Johnson.

Texas Rappers Rush To Aid Victims Of Hurricane Imelda

(AllHipHop News) Texas is experiencing yet another natural disaster, this time in the form of a storm named Imelda.

Texas legends Bun B from Port Arthur and Trae Tha Truth from Houston have partnered up to use their platform to help those who were affected by the tropical storm.

On Saturday afternoon, both artists united with Impact Ministries in Beaumont to hand out supplies to all of those in need.

In addition, they served hot meals and packed up vehicle’s with supplies.

Pastor Jay Matthews of Impact Ministries states, “It’s a great need here in the city. We’re here to serve. We’re here to help you.”

Not only did they give out rations, but they went door-to-door to hand them over personally.

Speaking to 12NewsNow, Bun B said, “We don’t have a lot but whatever we have, we’re here to give it to people.”

Trae Tha Truth adds, “We’re going to take care of Texas.”

This isn’t the first time both rappers have given back to their communities, and certainly not their last.

Those who missed the last event can attend service at Impact Church today, where the rappers will be handing out supplies again beginning at 10am.

They will be going until all the supplies are gone.

In total, there have been five lives lost so far in the disasters.

“Some people have lost everything and we’re here with them to help them rebuild,” Pastor Jay Matthews said.

Prayers to all those affected by Imelda.

T.I. Says Pastors At Kanye West’s Sunday Service Tried To Extort Him

(AllHipHop News) Uh oh, looks like there’s trouble in paradise.

On the heels of yet another successful Sunday Service by Kanye West, mega pastor Jamal Bryant is being denounced for using Ye and some of his high-profile, wealthy guests as a “money grab.”

News of this accusation first emerged on an episode of T.I.’s Apple podcast titled “Expeditiously,” with Tip and Grammy-winning rapper Killer Mike.

Tip reveals he and wife his wife Tamika Harris only arrived at the church to support his friend Kanye.

But, the rapper was targeted to give money — a scheme which left a bad taste in his mouth.

“Jamal already raised the offering. When we sat down, there was a whole new agenda,” T.I. said.

If you know Tip, you know he’s never one to hold back when it comes to helping the community.

But this time, it seems to be a test of morals. He also made it clear he wasn’t going after pastors, but just this particular one.

“It’s not that I have a thing against pastors or against preachers so-to-speak,” T.I. explained. “It’s just I’ve been raised in the trenches, and I was taught to peep game. You ain’t finna run no game on me. I will not be extorted.”

While both Tip and Mike enjoyed Kanye’s powerful musical presentation, Harris revealed the request for money wrecked it for him.

“I felt like I shouldn’t have came,” Tip said in disgust.

When Bryant caught wind of the matter, he kindly replied in a lengthy Instagram post.

“There was NO money grab intention but part of an internal strategy to mobilize our church community to move towards economic independence,” Pastor Bryant said. “As black men I hope we can come together ‘expeditiously’ to find common ground to build. I want to invite both of you to come and give church another chance. I promise you I’m more interested in your life than your life savings! #runthejewels

Rapper Jim Jones’ New Jersey Mansion Sold For $100

(AllHipHop News) Jim Jones recently made headlines when 6ix9ine snitched and claimed he was a “retired rapper,” formerly part of the Nine Trey Gangster Bloods.

But now the Harlem rapper has more important things to worry about.

Jim Jones and his long-term partner Chrissy Lampkin just lost their New Jersey mansion due to a foreclosure.

Back in 2017, the reality TV couple was sued by the U.S. National Bank Association for allegedly neglecting to pay their mortgage for seven years straight and now he owes over $1.2 million for the home.

The complaint shows Jones purchased the house in 2006 by taking out a $680K mortgage with a 6.875% interest rate.

He agreed to make payments of $4,467 each month. But the bank alleges Jones stopped paying for nearly a decade.

Under the terms of his mortgage, the entire amount would be due if he went into default.

Now, the bank solicited the court to issue a final judgement against the couple.

Neither Jim nor Chrissy have responded to the case, resulting in their home sold back to the bank at a Sheriff’s Sale earlier this year…for a whopping $100.

The 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom home is currently valued at $742K and was also featured as part of their storyline on Love & Hip Hop: New York.

Rapper Common Says President Trump Needs To See A Shrink

(AllHipHop News) Rap star Common believes President Donald Trump can help the United States if he goes to see a psychiatrist.

Common made his comments during a stop on his “Let Love” tour at the Elysee Montmartre Concert Hall.

“Narcissism is something that can be dealt with, too. Therapy can help that,” Common explained. “And I would subscribe every leader, even if you were a good leader. But Trump has proven to not be a good leader. And you can see his actions and behavior that of somebody who really dont love themselves, they got some issues going on.”

Common echoed several therapists who were on MSNBC and CNN earlier this week, to express serious concern over President Trump’s increasingly erratic behavior.

The POTUS was labeled a narcissist and “successful sociopath” during one MSNBC’s segment on his mental health.

On his new album Let Love, Common deals with several topics, including child abuse, misogyny and the importance of therapy, which he believes is something President Trump desperately needs.

“This would really help the country and the world if they would say, ‘hey this needs to be part of your program, some therapy,'” Common said.

Michael Jackson’s Estate Has Grown By The Billions Since His Death

(AllHipHop News) The Michael Jackson estate has grown by $1.7 billion since the superstar’s death in 2009.

Executors of the late King of Pop’s assets have revealed in new legal documents that they have successfully rebuilt the star’s fortune after he left behind $500 million in debt at the time of his passing.

“Among other issues, at the time of Michael Jackson‘s death, Michael Jackson’s most significant assets were subject to more than $500 million of debt… some debt in default (the mortgage, and utilities on Jackson family home Hayvenhurst had been unpaid for several months).”

Memorabilia, property and music rights have contributed to the posthumous ballooning of the music legend’s fortune.

Beyonce Is Now The Queen…Of Madame Tussauds In London

(AllHipHop News) Beyonce has replaced Queen Elizabeth II in Madame Tussauds London’s royal display.

A waxwork of the Formation singer, known as Queen Bey by her fans, was unveiled on Thursday and took the spot traditionally reserved for the British monarch at the tourist attraction, next to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Explaining the move in a press release, Steve Davies, General Manager at Madame Tussauds London, said: “Beyonce is a living legend, rightly crowned Queen Bey by her legions of fans and industry insiders. If anyone is fitting of a claim to The Queen’s spot in our attraction for the very first time, it’s Beyonce.

“HRH Queen Elizabeth II is famous for her mischievous sense of humor and we think a wry smile will cross her face when she sees that music royalty has temporarily filled her shoes.”

Beyonce’s wax likeness pays homage to the megastar’s Homecoming headline performance at Coachella last year and is dressed in a yellow Balmain hoodie and denim shorts – with a crown placed atop her head. She is also depicted raising her fist in her iconic Run the World power pose.

The swap will only last for one day, however, as Queen Elizabeth will return to her usual spot in the royal exhibition tomorrow, with Beyonce set to reign over the attraction’s music section.

TJ Jackson Trashes “Leaving Neverland” Doc And Takes On 50 Cent

TJ Jackson is music royalty. Serving as the late Michael Jackson’s nephew and youngest son to Tito Jackson from the Jackson 5, the Los Angeles native has been surrounded by music his entire life. Now, he’s excited and ready to be doing his own thing, creating music off the simple fact that he loves it.

Serving as one-third of 3T alongside his two brothers, the artist and musician recently unleashed his own solo single titled “Insomnia,” which brings a positive light to what typically would ignite a negative feeling.

A post shared by TJ JACKSON (@tjjackson9)

AllHipHop: MJ’s birthday just passed (August 29), how did you and your family celebrate or honor him?

TJ Jackson: For me personally, I usually try to just think about great moments with him. All the lessons he taught me. It’s quite easy to do because there’s so many great experiences and memories we had, so I just try to think of all those great times. The world lost an artist, a legend, but I lost an uncle. I try to keep it completely personal… I don’t know how else to say it. We’re not doing dance competitions. We’re not moonwalking or anything, we’re thinking about the man as our uncle.

AllHipHop: Growing up as a Jackson, what are some of the pros and cons?

TJ Jackson: The pros are you get to meet a lot of great people, people who have achieved a lot in life. You get to travel, you get to see great parts of the world. You get to learn about music and that’s what I do, is music. It’s a perk. A con is people always ask you “how’s this person doing?” Like you’re supposed to know. “Where’s Janet at?” I don’t know where Janet is. [chuckles] Another is people sometimes pre-judge you. They think you’re one way — without even knowing you, they think they know you. Sometimes you have to get through and work through preconceived notions of how you are. But the pros far outweigh the cons, I’m blessed and proud to be a Jackson.

AllHipHop: What’s it like having the biggest name in pop as your uncle?

TJ Jackson: Again, I don’t see him… all my life, my time with him and experience, he was always just Uncle Michael. He really was humble and downplayed his achievements, I’m still learning about how massive he was. ‘Cause all my time with him was as my uncle. He was amazing. He was always inspiring, always creative, and he was always teaching me. Naturally teaching me and my brothers how to be the best we can, that’s something I’ll always be grateful for.

AllHipHop: Do you feel pressure?

TJ Jackson: That was a popular question when 3T came out. That was the #1 question. The answer back then was always no, because we didn’t feel the pressure. As I get older, it’s still no, but it’s a little bit higher. And that’s only because I have pride and respect for my family. Not saying I never did, but it’s higher. I’m understanding and more cognizant of the legacy factor. I want to do my thing to make sure I’m representing my family the right way.

AllHipHop: Your the mouthpiece of the family now, how does that work?

TJ Jackson: You could say that, but I don’t mind it. I just speak the truth. Now that I’m releasing music, I’m going out there to promote my music. When people are asking questions and they’re hearing my answers for the first time, that’s kind of made me more of the mouthpiece of the family. But the truth of the matter is I’m just being real. I’m telling my experience, my life, and sharing it with the world.

AllHipHop: Do you get counsel from the others or are you the de facto leader?

TJ Jackson: [Chuckles] I don’t consider myself the leader and I don’t get counsel. No one’s ever told me anything. I don’t even know how I would respond if someone told me something. I’m not an ego head but at the same time, this is my life. Sure my last name’s Jackson, but I’m TJ. So I’m gonna speak my truth and what I feel. Obviously, I don’t ever wanna disrespect my family, but I’m going to be true and real to me.

AllHipHop: How do you feel about the jokes toward your dad Tito?

TJ Jackson: It sucks. [laughs] But you know, it’s a famous quote (I can’t think of) about how people wouldn’t make jokes about something if it wasn’t relevant. If people don’t know that person. What people don’t understand is that without my father, there never would have been any of the Jacksons. He broke the string that started the Jackson 5. My father’s a good guy. He’s humble, he’s chill.

It hurts me because he says he’s strong, but I don’t know if it messes with him. I’m proud of my father. While every other Jackson was releasing their own thing, my father was out of the limelight forming and creating 3T. So he didn’t get his time to shine like the others did. The unfortunate thing is that kind of made him more of a joke, or not taken serious. He didn’t showcase his talents, but my father is the real deal. He’s an incredible guitarist, a Blues player, a Blues singer, and does his own pop and R&B stuff. My father is the real deal and I’m proud to be his son.

AllHipHop: What are your feelings on the “Leaving Neverland” documentary?

TJ Jackson: It’s trash. It’s unfair. It’s a dangerous precedent to just be able to defame and say whatever you want against someone who’s no longer with us. I’m certain that if my uncle was here, we wouldn’t be in this position because he’d be able to defend himself. He’d have so much, even more, because there’s so much evidence out there that shows these guys aren’t the truth. He’d have his own personal stash that would completely discredit them even more so.

It sucks but it’s the way our world is. Our world is about highlights. If you can get a couple of life-long performers to generate and do retake after retake to get a certain feeling — and you could fool people, that’s what’s going to happen. For anyone who has watched it, you must go online and at least do your research. Watch a YouTube video that shows their lies, it’s only fair to. Otherwise, it’s like walking into a courthouse and hearing a prosecution for 4 hours, then having to make a decision on something. If that was the case, there would be no sense for a defense attorney or a defense. If my uncle had that opportunity, we wouldn’t be in this situation. But his fans are incredible, they’ve been doing their thing to support him and to show that he’s innocent. Time will tell, they’ll figure it out.

AllHipHop: How’s it feel coming up under the shade of the family in the spotlight?

TJ Jackson: I don’t see so much as shade or in the shadow. Like I said, I’m proud to be a Jackson. From the outside, I’m the next generation or it’s another product from the family and I just take it with pride. Like any team player, I take it with pride. I’m proud to be who I am. I’m proud to be in the family.

AllHipHop: Congrats on “Insomnia.” What inspired this one?

TJ Jackson: Lyrically, the concept, it was a true experience.

AllHipHop: I struggle with insomnia too!

TJ Jackson: Do you? See, I’m happy you said it exactly like that because I wanted to flip the meaning. Insomnia’s always been a negative thing, something I struggle with, or something that’s messing with my sleeping pattern, but I wanted to showcase that moment when insomnia can actually be a beautiful thing. A positive. I had that experience with my loved one where we didn’t wanna go to sleep, the night was too strong and too great. We wanted it to last forever. Even though we had to wake up in the morning, we just said “forget it, let’s go as long as we can and just enjoy the night.” That’s what the song’s about.

AllHipHop: Thoughts on the 50 Cent & Paris feud?

TJ Jackson: I loved “In the Club” and some other 50 Cent songs, but I lost a lot of respect for him. A lot of respect, for many reasons. I just don’t think it was cool to attack my uncle without doing any research on the truth. Then for him to attack my younger cousin who has to deal with all this, is even more immature and more disgusting. Hopefully, he’ll mature and see more of a respectful side, but it is what it is.

AllHipHop: I mean, he’s just a troll.

TJ Jackson: Yeah, it felt like it was more to get attention. I try to always be respectful and forgive people but there’s some lines that you shouldn’t cross, and he crossed that line. Hopefully, in time, he’ll do the right thing and apologize.

AllHipHop: 50 Cent’s comments on boy’s butts?

TJ Jackson: I think it’s silly, stupid, insensitive, and wrong… to everyone. Again, he just has to mature and understand the importance of respect. Not trying to get attention by posting stupid things, he should be beyond that.

AllHipHop: How would you compare Chris Brown to MJ?

TJ Jackson: They’re both great. Me and my family have nothing but love for Chris. He’s always been incredibly respectful to all of us. He’s always paid great tribute and homage to my Uncle Michael. We all wish him nothing but the best. I hope he keeps breaking records, that’s my answer. I respect what he does as an artist and he will continue to grow.

AllHipHop: Is there anything else you want us to know?
