(AllHipHop Rumors) Man, Drake is a cold dude. He went back and forth with Meek and then dropped the bomb today. Boom. Selfie with Nicki. Now, most of us knew this was going to happen at some point. In Meek World, nothing happened. Only thing is, it did happen.

After this dropped, suddenly Meek Mill’s Instagram gets deleted and he’s feverishly promoting a show in his home of Philly. The comments moved over to Twitter though and are like an attack on the bull.

Chance the Rapper Makes NBC’s “NBCBLK” List Of “Black Futurists”

(AllHipHop News) NBC News has revealed their annual list of African-American movers-and-shakers, who are making a difference across the country.

The NBCBLK series will feature African-Americans aged 28-years or younger, including policy makers, athletes, entrepreneurs, activists and others.

This year’s honorees include Chance the Rapper (Rapper/Activist), Kane Brown (Country Music Singer), Yara Shahidi (Actress), Michael Tubbs (Stockton, California’s first and youngest Black Mayor), Derrick Morgan (NFL Player – Tennessee Titans) and Claressa Shields (Olympian).

“The NBCBLK28 list is comprised of Black futurists, young people who are making history right now. They are the household names of tomorrow,” said Amber Payne, managing editor of NBCBLK. “This is NBCBLK’s way of flipping Black History Month. Instead of a throwback, we’re looking to the future and recognizing the up-and-coming, young African-Americans who are social and cultural disruptors.”

Well Known Groupie Puts Famous Dex On Blast!

(AllHipHop Rumors) For the life of me I don’t understand what rappers’ fascination with messing with the “exposing” groupies is about or why they mess with the ones everyone else has had.

I mean Super Head, Kat Stacks, and new age Celina (@xocelina187). Check it, Celina has been linked to drama with Chief Keef, Waka Flocka, O’Shea Jackson Jr., YG, and a few others. She’s even known to lie and fabricate details on these rappers too.

It looks like Famous Dex didn’t get his warning, or he didn’t care because now Celina is blasting him.

Apparently Dex invited her over and she got mad because another woman was over there when she arrived.

Celina posted a screen shot of a text message conversation supposedly between her and Dex. Dex blasts her saying,

“I love blocking hoes like you. F-cking hoe. U mad cause u can’t come suck my dick. Look like u do coke.”

She had a little bit of time to clap back at him in the caption.

Macklemore Heads Into The Great Outdoors In New Columbia Campaign

(AllHipHop News)  Macklemore is the star of a new campaign with Columbia Sportswear.

The rapper, who is also an environmental activist, explains his connection to nature from Mount Rainier.

In the video, Macklemore explains how being outdoors and in the nature help him recover from a drug addiction.

Enjoying nature also helps the Seattle native deal with the ups and downs of the music industry when he needs some space.

Macklemore and Columbia previously partnered in December 2016 on an educational video to help raise awareness on the impact that PFCs can have on the environment.

The rapper launched the new OutDry Extreme ECO Jacket, which is available nationwide.

T.I. Responds To Reports His Bodyguard Was Stabbed In Canada

Unfortunately, news emerged this week of T.I.’s bodyguard being stabbed at a concert venue in New Brunswick, Canada.

The Hustle Gang leader issued a response on the matter via Instagram.

T.I. posted, “This is my FIRST and LAST  statement on the matter. I was nowhere near any incident that took place at THE VENUE nightclub in Moncton, New Brunswick.”

In 2016, T.I.’s name was listed in headlines involving the deadly Irving Plaza shooting in New York City which led to the respective arrests of Brooklyn rhymer Troy Ave and podcast host Taxstone.

T.I, who was the headliner that evening, has not been directly connected to the violent incident in NYC either.

Jay Z and Beyonce Are Expecting Twins

(AllHipHop News) Superstar Beyonce has stunned fans by revealing she is pregnant with twins.

The “Halo” hitmaker, who is married to rap legend Jay Z, took to Instagram on Wednesday (February 1) to share a picture of herself posing in a bra, panties, and a veil as she cradled her growing baby bump.

“We would like to share our love and happiness,” she wrote in the caption. “We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters.”

The double bundle of joy will be siblings for Beyonce and Jay Z’s first child, daughter Blue Ivy, who turned five last month.

The music supercouple wed in 2008.

Public Enemy’s Professor Griff Wants Donald Trump To Meet With “Real Black People” (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Donald Trump has faced criticism from some members of the black community for his choice to promote his meetings with African-American entertainers and athletes.

Prior to officially taking office, the new president was seen at Trump Tower with Kanye West, Steve Harvey, Ray Lewis, and Jim Brown.

However, some citizens would like to see Trump directly connect with African-American members of Congress, civil rights leaders, activists, and policy experts.

One person that crosses the line between entertainer and activist is Professor Griff.

The founding member of Public Enemy is hoping to have his own conversation with Trump.

“Donald Trump, no excuse me, Donald Chump, get it together, bruh,” Griff told TMZ. “Matter of fact, call me.”

He continued, “You’re meeting with all these black people. Why don’t you meet with some real black people that can really sit down with you that makes some damn sense.”

Griff went on to say he was not intending to “take shots” at people that have already visited with the then President-Elect like West and Harvey.

The Pawns in the Game album creator also called on Hip Hop stars to use their music to speak on social issues, and he hopes to see more rappers become active in protests.

A$AP Rocky & London Woman Put Each Other On Blast

The rapper has always been a bit cocky and arrogant at times, but it looks like he met his match over in London.

As you know fans already let him have it last year for his reasoning for not commenting and getting involved with politics or issues that were negatively impacting the black community.

Anyway, you know you can’t tell A$AP he isn’t the man, so he was pretty upset with a model in London that wasn’t interested in him.

Remember fellas, everyone isn’t a thot thot thot! Money, fame, and status aren’t everything to everyone, especially not this woman.

A$AP couldn’t take the rejection and proceeded to go in on the woman saying,

Rihanna Goes “Psycho” In New Season Of “Bates Motel”

(AllHipHop News) A&E recently released the highly anticipated first look at eight-time Grammy Award winner, Rihanna in the final season of “Bates Motel.”

RiRi is joined by Vera Farmiga, who returns for double duty as executive producer while also reprising her role as ‘Mother’ who is very much alive and well but only in the twisted, complicated mind of ‘Norman Bates’ played by Freddie Highmore.

Rihanna plays the iconic “Marion Crane” in the fifth and final season of the drama, which is the prequel to the classic thriller “Psycho.”

According to producers, Rihanna is a super fan of the show and she brings “a newly reimagined and contemporary spin on the iconic character.”

“Bates Motel” will premiere on Monday, February 20 at 10PM ET/PT on A&E.

Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne Reunite

(AllHipHop News) Drake and Nicki Minaj have reunited, after years of being estranged, thanks to Drake’s feud with Nicki’s ex, Meek Mill.

Nicki posted a picture of herself and Drake on her Instagram page, and Drake followed with the same picture shortly thereafter.

Nicki also posted a picture of herself, Drake and Young Money Boss Lil’ Wayne with the caption “#theBig3.”

Prior to their reunification today (February 1), Nicki and Drake have not spoken or interacted for over two years, while Drake beefed with Meek Mill.

The feud started over Meek’s allegations that Drake didn’t write the verse to his song “R.I.C.O.” from Meek’s#### album Dreams Worth More than Money.

The result was an all out feud that included diss records from Meek (“Wanna Know”), and Drake (“Back to Back”), which also drew rappers like Game and Beanie Sigel into the feud.

However, Nicki decided to stay out of the beef.

During an interview with the New York Times, Nicki weighed in on Meek and Drake’s issues.

“They’re men, grown ass men. It’s between them. I hate it. It doesn’t make me feel good,” Nicki Minaj said. “You don’t ever want to choose sides between people you love. It’s ridiculous. I just want it to be over.”

Earlier this month, Nicki Minaj confirmed her split to Meek Mill after their two year relationship.

Rap Mogul Russell Simmons Was With Donald Trump and Melania On Their First Date

(AllHipHop News) Music mogul Russell Simmons no longer considers Donald Trump a friend.

The Def Jam Recordings co-founder has been a huge critic of the reality TV star-turned-Leader of the Free World ever since Trump first began campaigning for the White House in 2015.

“Not anymore,” Simmons declared to PageSix when asked if he still views Trump as a friend. “I’m sure he doesn’t consider me a friend after some of the statements I’ve made.”

Russell’s decades-long friendship with Donald, who hosted U.S. television competition show “The Apprentice” for 14 seasons, abruptly ended in June, 2015, when the hip-hop legend told numerous media outlets he’d prefer to see another reality TV star run the country.

“We haven’t been friends since the day he announced that (his run for presidency) and I said, ‘I’d rather Kim Kardashian be President’, so he called the office and that was the end of our friendship,” Simmons recalled, noting he refused to talk it out with Trump when the real estate mogul phoned. “I didn’t pick the phone up. I said (to my assistant), ‘It’s on video! Tell him it’s on video!’ And we didn’t speak after that.”

Russell and fellow New York City native Donald were close pals before calling it quits on their friendship.

The rap icon recalls spending “every weekend” with the real estate tycoon at the height of their relationship.

“He wrote the foreword to my first two books – I know him very well,” Simmons said, noting he was present when Trump began romancing his current wife, First Lady Melania Trump, in 1998.

“I was with him on his first date with Melania,” Russell recalled.

Trump has stirred the ire of millions thanks to his divisive statements against immigrants, Latinos, and women.

Although Russell refused to dish on details regarding the character of his former friend, the hip-hop mogul insists Donald is unfit to be the U.S. leader.

“All of our friends have issues, I have issues,” Simmons shares. “I accept people as they are as long as they’re not running for president.”

Russell plans to continue fighting Donald’s presidency by spearheading a “resistance” to the billionaire’s latest executive order, which bans immigrants and refugees from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States.

Migos’ ‘Culture’ Predicted To Earn Best First-Week Sales Of Group’s Career

(AllHipHop News) Earlier this week it appeared Migos would be in a tight race for the #1 spot on the next Billboard 200 album chart.

Initial sales forecasts had the Atlanta trio’s Culture closely competing with Brantley Gilbert’s The Devil Don’t Sleep for the pole position.

However, HitsDailyDouble now predicts Culture will easily take the top spot with 108,000 – 113,000 sales plus streaming numbers (38,000 -42,00 traditional album sales).

The Devil Don’t Sleep is on pace to earn between 76,000 – 81,000 SPS units (67,000 – 72,000 sales).

Migos are also certainly going to surpass their previous first-week sales totals for 2015’s Yung Rich Nation.

Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff collected 18,000 SPS (14,000 sales) units for their debut album in its first week of release.

The popularity of the Culture album is connected to the group’s #1 hit record “Bad and Boujee” featuring Lil Uzi Vert.

“Bad and Boujee” has spent three weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The single is also in its fifth straight week at #1 on the Streaming Songs chart.

Diddy’s REVOLT TV Heading to Africa

(AllHipHop News) Sean “Diddy” Combs’ REVOLT TV has formed a partnership with an African pay TV network, which will bring the channel to millions of new viewers.

REVOLT TV has inked a deal with Kwesé TV to be the exclusive African broadcaster of REVOLT TV.

Under the new agreement, Diddy and REVOLT TV will produce breaking music news, artist interviews, exclusive performances and original programming to African audiences exclusively on Kwesé TV channel 605.

“When I introduced REVOLT, I wanted to build a platform that would inspire creators around the world and open doors for artists on a global scale,” REVOLT Chairman Sean Combs told AllHipHop.com in a statement today (February 1).

“To launch in Africa is a huge honor for me and this deal illustrates the true impact REVOLT has on the culture here at home and abroad,” Combs said.

Earlier this week, REVOLT in Ghana, Zambia and Rwanda.

“Having REVOLT as part of our premium entertainment offering is a significant feat, we’re excited to be the broadcaster bringing this channel to Africa” added President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Econet Media, Joseph Hundah.

REVOLT TV airs exclusively on Kwesé TV channel 605.

King Los, Royce da 5’9 & Mr Porter Join Page Kennedy’s Battle Cry On “Testing Me”

Doing the ‘D’ proud, TV/film actor and rapper, Page Kennedy, rounds up fellow Motor City cohorts, Royce da 5’9 and Denaun (Mr Porter), as well as King Los and drops a feisty follow-up to last week’s mumble rap diss, “No Offense.” “Testing Me,” which appears on Page’s upcoming March release, “Torn Pages”  is meant to serve as a warning shot to any that would come up against these veterans of the battle rap scene.

As Page himself explains it, “Testing Me is a lyrical combat song. It’s designed to flex creative and lyrical skill. Since all the rappers involved come from a battling background we thought it would be fun to have this competitive lyrical onslaught. In other words “this is what will happen to anyone that Test Me.”

“Torn Pages” also features Elzhi, Kxng Crooked, Kuniva and Marsha Ambrosius and drops March 10th via Empire Distribution.
