(AllHipHop News) Simon Cowell is one of the reasons American Idol became such a huge hit when it premiered in 2002. “I feel like they made me Simon. When n*ggas had to go, it was like, ‘Alright, Chance. What’s it gonna be?'” declared The Big Day album creator. Tip responded, “You chose to be Simon.”

The expediTIously podcast host then added, “[Chance The Rapper] has a real knife-to-throat kinda [approach]. I’m more of a bullet to the back of the head kinda guy: ‘Listen, we all got somewhere to be, let’s get this over with.'”
