The #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart belongs to Pop Smoke once again. This week, Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon rose back to the top spot after debuting in the pole position in July.
Pop’s posthumous project collected another 67,000 equivalent album units during the latest tracking week. 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s Savage Mode II barely missed remaining at #1 in its second week with 66,000 units.
Hip Hop artists control the rest of the Top 5 on the Billboard 200. Juice WRLD’s Legends Never Die jumped five spots to #3 (45,000 units), Lil Baby’s My Turn surged 6 spots to #4 (38,000 units), and Machine Gun Kelly’s Tickets to My Downfall climbed 1 spot to #5.
Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon joins My Turn as entries that experienced long waits between reigns atop the album rankings in 2020. Lil Baby debuted at #1 in March and returned to #1 in June. My Turn spent a total of five weeks as the leader of the list.
