Claressa Shields confirmed that she and Papoose are planning to have a baby in 2026 and made it clear that their relationship is solid, despite the online noise stirred up after Remy Ma exposed their relationship.

During a July 2025 appearance on The Pivot Podcast, the boxing champ addressed her personal timeline, saying she’s ready to shift gears and start a family.

“I’m gonna have a baby next year,” Shields revealed. “We already have it planned out.”

She added that motherhood won’t put her gloves away for good. “After I go through my stuff, then I’ll come back and fight some more, and then probably have another one and do the same thing again.”

Shields, 30, explained that waiting until the end of her career to have children isn’t part of the plan.

“I don’t want to wait till I’m, you know, 40, 43, whatever, after my career, to have my kids,” she said, adding, “I want to be able to run at the park with my kids… I don’t want to be too old.”

The relationship between Shields and Papoose became public in December 2024 after Remy Ma, Papoose’s estranged wife, posted online about the couple. Shields said the attention wasn’t her doing.

“You make it seem like I’m somebody that came in and disrupted a happy household when I didn’t. That’s not what happened.”

However, Shields pushed back on the idea of any rivalry.

Joyner Lucas came out swinging Friday (July 25) with a scathing diss track titled “Round 2 KO” aimed squarely at Skepta, firing back after days of online taunts and lyrical jabs between the two rappers.

In the track, Lucas wastes no time dismantling Skepta’s credibility, mocking his success and questioning his authenticity.

“You barely went sheet metal,” Lucas raps, brushing off Skepta’s platinum status before claiming the UK rapper had his chain snatched and “was curled on the floor like a leaf petal.”

Lucas also accused Skepta of swagger-jacking A$AP Rocky and taking it in a direction that left him unimpressed. “How you gon’ steal A$AP Rocky swag and f### it all up and go gay with it?” he spits.

The Massachusetts rapper didn’t stop there. He referenced UK rapper Giggs, claiming even he wasn’t feeling Skepta’s recent moves. “Really hate your s###,” Lucas said, quoting Giggs’ reaction to Skepta’s challenge.

Lucas also took aim at Skepta’s perceived obsession with Drake, criticizing him for chasing validation from the Canadian superstar.

Donald Trump is back on his law and order playbook This time, the nation’s homeless population is the focus.

On Thursday (July 24), Trump signed a new executive order titled “Ending Vagrancy and Restoring Order.” This will be a dramatic shifts on how the federal government handles homelessness. I’m suspicious, but let’s take this walk together.

The directive empowers the Attorney General Pam Bondi to upend prior judicial rulings and scrap consent decrees. They currently block local and state officials from removing unhoused (homeless) individuals from public spaces. In essence, aims to relocate people from tents to treatment centers.

They’re framing this move as a solution, but the language in the policy has already sparked major concern. You better believe it. According to the executive order, federal funding will now be funneled into creating and expanding rehabilitation, mental health and treatment facilities designed to “receive” homeless individuals. There are parts in this order that includes “involuntary placements” and that’s vague.

The order explicitly blocks registered sex offenders from being housed near children. There are also some women and children only shelters. Some are crying foul about discrimination and inclusivity in these housing programs. I don’t see an issue with the sex offenders part, but hopefully they’re not separating functional families. Something still smells weird.

Needless to say, there’s something wrong in America. According to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, 771,480 people experienced homelessness in 2024 and nearly 168,000 were chronically homeless. I think the need to rethink how they approach this, especially when looking at the statement they released. Go buy some empathy.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt sent a firm statement to Newsweek, saying: “By removing vagrant criminals from our streets and redirecting resources toward substance abuse programs, the Trump Administration will ensure that Americans feel safe in their own communities and that individuals suffering from addiction or mental health struggles are able to get the help they need.”

Now they are linking homelessness to criminality. Really? And they seems to be forcing rehabilitation on their terms. In March, Trump targeted homeless encampments on federal lands and launched the National Center for Warrior Independence. Sounds nice, but it’s for homeless veterans. How did they get that way?

In 2024, the Supreme Court flexed on the homeless, backing Trump. They voted on a case that upheld bans on homeless encampments in Grants Pass, Oregon. In a 6–3 decision, the justices ruled that removing people from public land does not constitute cruel and unusual punishment. It certainly criminalizes having a downfall. They just want to sweep these humans off the streets like trash.

Is this a genuine attempt at reform or a Draconian power play?

Top Boy actor Micheal Ward has been charged with two counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault in London following allegations tied to a single woman and an incident from January 2023.

Ward is scheduled to appear before Thames Magistrates’ Court on August 28, according to a statement released Friday by the Metropolitan Police. The charges were confirmed by authorities, who noted the alleged offenses involve one woman.

Detective Superintendent Scott Ware, part of the team handling the case, said, “Our specialist officers continue to support the woman who has come forward – we know investigations of this nature can have significant impact on those who make reports.”

Ward, a rising name in British film and television, rose to prominence playing Jamie in the Netflix crime drama Top Boy, which was executive produced by rapper Drake.

His breakout role helped land him a BAFTA nomination and opened doors to high-profile film projects.

Before acting full-time, Ward worked as a model and appeared in music videos for artists including Lily Allen and Tom Walker. He made his screen debut in the 2016 film “Brotherhood” and later starred in “Empire of Light” opposite Olivia Colman. Diddy is facing a new civil lawsuit from a man who claims the Hip-Hop mogul and several major hotels conspired to exploit him during a series of disturbing encounters at high-end properties in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Michael Ejiawoko filed the suit in Los Angeles County Superior Court, alleging he was recruited by Diddy in 2018 under the false belief that he would be engaging in consensual sex work with adult women.

Instead, Ejiawoko says he later discovered the women were coerced, and that Diddy orchestrated and observed the acts without participating. The complaint also names The Palazzo, Wynn Las Vegas and The London West Hollywood as defendants.

Ejiawoko accuses hotel staff of helping Diddy conceal his identity and facilitate the encounters by booking rooms under aliases, including the name “Mr. Star.”

“Hotel staff knowingly facilitated Mr. Combs’ illicit activities by reserving hotel rooms under aliases, including the name ‘Mr. Star,’ to shield Combs’ identity, granting access to private or secured areas to Combs and his JOHN DOE associates, escorting Ejiawoko and other participants in the encounters to and from rooms, cleaning and removing paraphernalia used in the encounters, including oils, substances, and drug-related items; e. Failing to report or investigate clear signs of illegal conduct,” said Ejiawoko’s attorney, Jonathan D. Evans.

Ejiawoko claims he was instructed to use oil provided by Diddy, which he believes was laced with drugs. He also says the sexual encounters were secretly recorded without his permission.

The lawsuit alleges that Diddy and the hotels collaborated to conceal the activities and avoid legal consequences.

The suit accuses Diddy and the hotels of sexual battery, civil conspiracy and violations of the federal Trafficking Victims Protection Act. Ejiawoko argues he was unable to give informed consent due to being drugged and misled.

He is seeking more than $500,000 in damages for emotional distress and mental anguish, along with punitive damages and attorney fees. He has requested a jury trial.

The lawsuit adds to a growing list of legal troubles for Diddy, who has recently faced multiple civil complaints involving allegations of sexual misconduct, according to the court filing.

Sean Kingston could be looking at up to six and a half years behind bars after federal prosecutors argued he should be held fully accountable for a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme tied to more than 20 victims.

The government is urging the court to consider a broader scope of financial damage in Kingston’s sentencing, following the recent conviction and five-year prison term handed to his mother, Janice Kingston, for her role in the same case.

In March, a jury convicted say the singer and his mother for attempting to swindle approximately $3.1 million through a string of high-end scams involving luxury goods.

AllHipHop has learned that the court’s initial report “failed to account for all victims and the full monetary loss,” which could now result in increased prison terms and restitution amounts for Sean Kingston.

According to the filing, the fraud involved at least 21 individuals or businesses. Prosecutors say Kingston should be ordered to repay $1.17 million.

The court has already reviewed evidence, including fake documents and text messages used to deceive sellers of expensive items, such as a 232-inch television, a bulletproof Cadillac Escalade and custom jewelry.

While the government stopped short of explicitly requesting a longer sentence, it noted that “recognizing the full scope of the loss could increase the applicable sentencing range” under federal guidelines.

Kingston currently faces a potential sentence of 63 to 78 months in prison after being convicted of one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and four counts of wire fraud.

The court will now weigh whether to adjust the sentencing recommendation and restitution based on the broader financial impact presented by prosecutors.

Kingston’s sentencing comes shortly after his mother, Janice Kingston, was sentenced on July 23 to five years in federal prison. She was also convicted on one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and four counts of wire fraud.

Turner also received three years of supervised release and is facing deportation back to her homeland of Jamaica.

Smokey Robinson Accused By Fifth Woman In Ongoing Sexual Battery Investigation

Smokey Robinson has been named in a fifth police report alleging sexual battery, filed Wednesday (July 16) at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Malibu/Lost Hills station, adding to a growing criminal probe already involving four other accusers.

According to TMZ, the latest complaint was submitted by another Jane Doe, bringing the total number of women accusing the 85-year-old Motown legend to five.

All five have now filed official reports with the sheriff’s department, which is actively investigating claims of sexual assault and misconduct said to span multiple years.

The allegations follow a $50 million civil lawsuit filed in May 2025 by four former employees who accused Robinson of sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment and fostering a hostile work environment.

The lawsuit originally involved four accusers who worked as housekeepers and one as a personal assistant. The women made allegations of repeated sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, and hostile work environment claims spanning from 2006 to 2024.

The accusers describe similar patterns of abuse, including Robinson allegedly showering before assaults and taking measures to avoid physical evidence, with detailed accounts of forceful penetration and other acts causing significant harm.

The women, all represented by the same legal team, remain anonymous in the filings.

Robinson and his wife have denied the claims and responded with a $500 million countersuit, accusing the women of defamation and emotional distress. His legal team has described the accusations as part of an extortion attempt.

Thaweesak Namwongsa was found lifeless in his bedroom in Rayong, Thailand, after reportedly surviving on nothing but beer for nearly a month, according to local authorities.

The 44-year-old father was discovered by his 16-year-old son, who returned home from school to find him unconscious. Emergency responders from the Siam Rayong Foundation were called to the home in the Ban Chang district on Thursday (July 24), but Namwongsa had already died by the time they arrived.

Inside the room, paramedics counted more than 100 empty beer bottles scattered across the floor. Narrow walkways had been cleared through the clutter, allowing just enough space for Namwongsa to move between his bed and the door.

His teenage son, who had been living with him since his parents’ separation, told police he had been trying to care for his father. “I cooked hot meals every day, but he wouldn’t eat,” the boy said, per The Sun. He added that his father began drinking heavily after the divorce and refused to eat solid food in the weeks leading up to his death.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the official cause of death. An autopsy is scheduled for later this week, but investigators suspect that prolonged alcohol use played a major role.

Health experts warn that drinking only beer for a month would cause someone to quickly suffer from severe malnutrition, primarily due to vitamin and protein deficiencies. Beer lacks critical nutrients such as vitamin C and protein; without these, a person risks developing conditions like scurvy (from vitamin C deficiency) and muscle wasting (from lack of protein).

Over time, the person might experience muscle loss, weakened immune function and eventually organ damage, particularly affecting the heart and liver. Beer also contains alcohol, which is toxic to the body in significant amounts, leading to the risk of dehydration, liver damage and other complications such as digestive issues and disrupted sleep.

While beer provides calories and some fluid, its diuretic effect can worsen hydration if not balanced with water. In summary, living solely on beer for a month would be dangerous and damaging to anyone’s health, resulting in malnutrition and potentially severe medical problems or, in this case, death.

Namwongsa’s death remains under investigation, with results from the autopsy expected in the coming days.

Kanye West is being accused by his former assistant of orchestrating a swatting campaign against her after she filed a lawsuit alleging sexual assault, harassment and other misconduct, prompting her to go into hiding.

Lauren Pisciotta, 36, who worked for the rapper from 2021 until her termination in 2022, claims she has been targeted with false emergency calls to law enforcement —a tactic known as swatting —following her legal action against West, who now goes by Ye.

Swatting involves making fake reports of violent crimes to prompt an armed police response at a specific location. Pisciotta claims this has happened to her multiple times since she came forward with her allegations.

“She is suffering and has been suffering since she began working for Mr West. It’s really sad – she’s gone through a lot,” said her attorney, Arick Fudali.

The lawsuit, initially filed in June 2024 and amended in July 2025, alleges rape, stalking, sex trafficking and a hostile work environment.

The lawsuit outlines an incident where Pisciotta says Ye drugged and sexually assaulted her during a studio session that included Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Pisciotta also accuses West of repeatedly sending explicit messages and performing sexual acts over the phone and in person.

In social media posts, West lashed out at Pisciotta with crude and offensive remarks. In one post, he wrote, “WHY DID I NEVER F*** LAUREN PISCIOTTA SHE SMELLED FUNNY AND HALF OF THE NBA CAN ATTEST TO THAT.”

GloRilla called out Georgia law enforcement for arresting her on drug charges instead of tracking down the intruders who broke into her home while she was out of town performing.

The Memphis rapper, whose real name is Gloria Woods, took to Twitter (X) on Thursday (July 24) to address her arrest for felony marijuana possession after police allegedly found cannabis in her Forsyth County home during a burglary investigation.

“CRAZY,” she wrote. “My House got Home Invaded Saturday. While I was in Indianapolis performing for the WNBA all star game & instead of Focusing on finding the Suspects, they focus on some cannabis. 1. So no I wasn’t busted. 2. My house got robbed. 3. I wasn’t home. Long story short my house gets home invaded and Im the only one that gets arrested. So that’s tea.”

According to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office report, deputies responded to a burglary call at Woods’ residence around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday (July 19). Three suspects were reportedly in the process of stealing items when someone inside the home fired shots, causing the intruders to flee. No arrests have been made in connection with the break-in.

While investigating the scene, deputies reported smelling marijuana and later discovered what they described as “a significant amount of marijuana” in the master bedroom closet. Woods was subsequently charged with felony possession of marijuana and possession of a Schedule I controlled substance. She turned herself in to the Forsyth County Jail on Monday (July 22) and was released later that day after posting a $22,260 bond.

Her attorney, Drew Findling, issued a statement to XXL criticizing the arrest. “The arrest of Gloria Woods is a disturbing window into how warped law enforcement priorities have become,” the statement read. “Ms. Woods was out of town when her residence became a target for a group of home invaders who most likely knew she wasn’t there. What they didn’t know was that she had family staying with her that were traumatized by the violent entrance of this group, who grabbed high-value jewelry before taking off once they realized the home wasn’t vacant.”

Findling added, “When her family members did the right thing and called law enforcement, instead of investigating the violent home invasion and theft at Ms. Woods’ home, they instead sought a search warrant when they spotted what they believed was a small amount of marijuana. Law enforcement then sought arrest warrants for her even though she hadn’t been at her home for some time. No arrest warrants have been issued for the violent home invaders. Ms. Woods is a victim, not a suspect. This is our tax dollars at work, absolutely unbelievable.”

In response, Forsyth County Sheriff Ron Freeman defended the department’s actions. “The homeowner is a victim of a serious crime, and we are committed to bringing the suspects to justice,” Freeman said. “At the same time, we must continue to uphold and enforce the law in all aspects of this case.”
