Meek Mill brings out Nicki Minaj to perform “All Eyes One You”
Before Meek Mill’s performance at Made In America last night, there were rumors that Nicki Minaj would make a special appearance during Beyonce’s set. However, during Meek Mill’s set on the main stage, he brought Nicki out after playing a couple of her songs. There’s no confirmation on whether the rumors are true, but this move definitely made a difference if it was supposed to happen.
There was a chance that this was going to happen, we just didn’t think it was happening during Fab’s set. Philadelphia-native, and former Roc-a-Fella artist, Freeway appeared in the middle of Fabolous’ set to perform a “What We Do” and “Flipside”.
Bassnectar brought out Dead Prez to perform “It’s Bigger Than Hip Hop”.
No one saw this coming. Producer Bassnectar has a sound that beautifully blends both EDM and Hip Hop, but no one would predict that he would bring Dead Prez out to perform “It’s Bigger than Hip Hop.” We should’ve had a hunch though, because Bassnectar was throwing some radical twists into his set, including a Martin Luther King speech over Kendrick Lamar’s single “Backseat Freestyle”.
IloveMakonnen was seen driving through festival grounds
Made In America is a place where celebrities will appear either on the stage or in the crowds, but ILoveMakonnen’s way of appearing is far more interesting than others. We caught the OVO Sound artist whipping through festival grounds on a miniature Cadillac, picking up several people including Vic Mensa after his main stage opener.
“It’s unacceptable, you know. And I made a mistake and I wanna apologize. And I guess that’s really it, and I can’t really say nothing, you know. It was wrong of me,” Malone said.
Those that believe Nicki Minaj is going to dump Meek Mill may have to reconsider.
The Queens rap mistress reassured the haters that she’s staying with the once-embattled Philly rapper at this weekends Made In America festival in Philadelphia.
“If you got love for my babydaddy, make some noise,” Nicki shouted after Meek brought her out on his set at Made In America.

“Where all the little girls at?” Tyga yells to the crowd?
WHAT?
This dude is trolling, but more more importantly showing that he’s very creepy. At a recent show, he said “Where all the little girls at?” – I guess all publicity is good publicity.
Keith Richards is one cranky old man and his crotchety disposition has lead him to diss Hip-Hop again.
In an interview with the New York Daily News, the aging rocker said that rap music was so many words, so little said.”
Richards continued, “What rap did that was impressive was to show there are so many tone-deaf people out there. All they need is a drum beat and somebody yelling over it and they’re happy. There’s an enormous market for people who can’t tell one note from another.”
In 2007 Richards really put his ignorance on full display when he talked to Rolling Stone magazine.
“Hip-hop leaves me cold. But there are some people out there who think it’s the meaning of life… I don’t wanna be yelled at; I wanna be sung to. I never really understood why somebody would want to have some gangster from L.A. poking his fingers in your face,” he said. “As I say, it don’t grab me. I mean, the rhythms are boring; they’re all done on computers.”
Journalist Jim Farber said that the famed guitarist winked every time he dissed somebody in this most recent interview. Perhaps this is his way of staying relevant as Hip-Hop continues to be the dominant genre in these modern days.

Marvel does it again and this time the entertainment giant makes a variant cover of Eminem’s Relapse album.
The Scarlet Witch of The Avengers replaces Eminem for this cover to the glee of Marvel’s Editor In Chief, Axel Alonso.
“The latest sampling of Marvel’s Hip-Hop variants include nods to lyrical innovators, musical game-changers and one of rap’s biggest stars,” says Alonso. “And who better to do these classic album covers justice than Ed Piskor, Keron Grant and the legendary Bill Sienkiewicz?”
