EXCLUSIVE! OG Maco On Police Brutality: “At Some Point You Got To Fight”

Videographer: Frsk Purple  Photo Credit: Niki G.

Sincerity wraps his statement as OG Maco explains,”With a system that’s corrupt and broken I feel like we got to fight it,” he exclusively tells AllHipHop. During the conversation the “U Guessed It” rapper acknowledges that “there are good cops,” but questions sordid American police brutality.  He challenges the steadfast notion of the inherently ineffective peaceful protest. Mentioning the slain souls of Mike Brown, Sandra Bland, and Tamir Rice — all of whom met untimely deaths after interactions with law enforcement — OG suggests a self-preserving notion.

“At some point you got to go fight. They’re going to kill us all anyway. We’re going to die anyway; or, they’re going to send us off to prison to die anyway. Shoot some sh*t, riot, f**k some sh*t up! But don’t do it in our neighborhoods; that’s all we got,” he says. The Atlanta-based rapper then ensures to convey that it’s not a “black and white issue,” rather an economic one.

Former N.W.A. Manager Jerry Heller Doesn’t Seem Too Pleased With ‘Straight Outta Compton’ Portrayal

Remember when N.W.A’s former manager Jerry Heller said he was going to wait until he saw ‘Straight Outta Compton’ to voice his opinion, and to see if he needed to take legal action? Well it seems like he doesn’t agree with his portrayal and there may be some ongoing litigation on the way. Heller did say that when he sees the film, he would be front row with his lawyers. We will see what legal action he decides to take.

Heller told the LA Times,

“Well, my only comment so far is that I think it’s inappropriate for me to comment on a movie that I haven’t seen,” he said. “I did see it on Saturday, and I’m still not willing to comment right now on that movie because I think sooner or later it may be part of an ongoing litigation.”

Is This What Really Happened With Young Dro & The Stolen Car?

It’s always something going on with Young Dro! He drops a song that people love and radio runs crazy with only to be plagued by some sort of legal trouble somewhere along the way. According to TMZ The latest rumor is that an Atlanta stripper/ strip club employee (who has in the past been said to be Robyn Fly) filed a grand theft auto report against Young Dro, accusing him of failing to pick her up in her own car, abandoning the vehicle, and setting her up by leaving weed and a stolen gun inside. Allegedly Dro asked the stripper to borrow her Cadillac and she agreed as long as he picked her up after her shift at the Pink Pony. Apparently when the police and the woman located her vehicle with the help of OnStar, the police arrested her, causing her to file the report against Dro. Say it ain’t so. Not Mr. “car ain’t got no roof…. not Mr. We in da city.” The woman and Dro have two completely different accounts of what happened.

Over the last few months it seems like Young Dro has told at least 3 different stories as to what happened with this car. It’s hard out here!

The lawsuit also states that the club should have taken better security precautions and performed better searches on party-goers. The White House Responds To Kanye West Announcing He’s Running For President

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West rocked the entertainment world Sunday night when he told the MTV Video Music Awards audience he was running for President of the United States in 2020. The proclamation has now seeped into the political world as well.

The office of the POTUS has officially addressed Mr. West’s potential candidacy. While traveling on Air Force One with President Barack Obama to Alaska, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said he looks “forward to seeing what slogan [West] chooses to embroider on his campaign hat.”

With Kanye’s track record it’s hard to tell if the 2020 bid is him taking himself way too seriously or just one of his random thoughts he’s known to throw out, but he has at least garnered the attention of the Obama administration.

The two Chicago natives have not always seen eye-to-eye. Obama called Kanye a “jackass” after his infamous stage crashing of Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs.

West responded to Obama in a 2013 interview saying, “ I don’t care if someone’s the President or not. I care about thoughts and how you’re helping people and what you bring to the world. My music brings joy to people. What I create brings joy to people.”

The GOOD Music founder later stated he was not offended by Obama’s comments and the president has his phone number. Obama revealed to Jimmy Kimmel that he only met the rapper/producer twice and doubted he actually had Ye’s home number.

Neef Buck sat down with Mikey T The Movie Star to discuss those final days of the Roc team. The Philadelphia rapper explained his personal situation involving Roc-A-Fella and its parent company Def Jam.

“We got ourselves out of Def Jam, because we were still on Def Jam even when Jay did his own thing with Roc Nation,” stated Neef. “Chris had a situation that he wanted to do with Rico Love at the time, and I wasn’t doing too much music. He came to me saying he wanted to get out of the contract with Def Jam, and he needed me to sign off.”

Neef agreed to allow Young Chris to break from Def Jam, but he admitted that if they were to reunite to do another Young Gunz project, Def Jam would still make money off the group. He also talked about creating their debut album Tough Luv.

Recently, reports claimed Brown is fighting back by suggesting Royalty is no safer with her mother than with him. CB also reportedly believes Guzman’s goal is only to get more money for child support and to become famous.

Guzman’s publicist contacted AllHipHop.com to address the situation. Read the statement below.

The allegations that have been made against Nia Guzman are completely false. Nia has not been in a dating relationship with Ba for several months and she has no criminal record and has never taken part in any criminal activity with Ba. Also, Nia is not trying to obtain any fame or additional money from Chris Brown other than the child support that is expected for the raising of their child, and she asks that the press and general public would stop hurling false accusations at her and her daughter.
