Hip-Hop Rumors: MORE Racist Justin Bieber Footage On The Way?

“Say it again and I’ma crack a champagne bottle on ya knot, boy.”

Justin Bieber has started a firestorm of controversy based on the s**t that he said a few years ago on tape. Yeah, he said some stuff about “lonely n***ers” and joining the KKK and I think he even said something about killing African Americans. At this point, he could have said I want to “kill every n***a in sight” and I wouldn’t care. Why? Because, he’s dead to me now. BUT, here is the rumor. Somebody tried to shake Justin’s people down for a cool million to suppress this racist stuff, but they didn’t want to pay all of that. They tried to pay something like $500K according to some rumor reports. Anyway, the dude allegedly and reportedly has MORE racist footage that he’s about to dump on these streets.

I find this interesting. Its almost like, at this point, he wants to bury Beebz! I wonder will they have enough footage to get people like Mack Maine from defending the lil Canadian racist? I’m thinking at some point even those guys have to feel away. Or maybe they don’t know what the KKK is.

Brooklyn Street Could Soon Be Named After Spike Lee's "Do The Right Thing"

“Spread love, it’s the Brooklyn way”

(AllHipHop News) Truer words may have never been uttered by the late great Notorious B.I.G. and today (June 5th), it remains true. Spike Lee posted on his personal Instagram account a photo of a Brooklyn street being renamed after his classic 1989 classic film Do The Right Thing.

The entire Do The Right Thing film was shot in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood in Brooklyn. In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the film, Lee stated on his personal Instagram account that one particular street from that neighborhood will be renamed after the film:

The City Of New York Has Changed Stuyvesant Street Between Lexington And Quincy In The Brooklyn Hood Of BED-STUY DO OR DIE As Do The Right Thing Way.

Less than 8 months ago, Brooklyn Community Board 2 denied LeRoy McCarthy’s campaign to co-name the intersection of Saint James Place and Fulton Street “Christopher Wallace Way” after the Notorious B.I.G. Councilman Robert Cornegy  informed the New York Daily News that the street has not been officially renamed and could still be denied”

It’s a bit complicated, because the City Council’s standards for co-naming focus on people and organizations, not works of art. Nevertheless, I fully support this effort and will continue to work in every way I can to see the commemoration happen.

Dame Dash Responds To Funkmaster Flex, Disses Lyor Cohen

(AllHipHop News) Two of the most outspoken individuals in Hip Hop are now in each other’s verbal crosshairs. This past Tuesday (June) Dame Dash responded to Funkmaster Flex’s on-air diatribe against the former Roc-A-Fella boss.

During The Funkmaster Flex Show on Hot 97, Flex defended former Def Jam President Joie Manda against Dash’s claims of Manda being a “culture vulture.” Dash wasted no time and went directly to his personal Instagram account to address Flex’s defense of Manda and issue a way Flex and Dash can settle their disagreement:

Hey @djfunkflex would not have an issue with another man over another man… I believe a man should speak up for himself and I really hope you would never desrespect me over another man I’m 43 so what I will do is give you an interview live where you can ask me any question you want and joi can as well

The following day, Dash went back to his accusatory ways and lamented another former Def Jam President as a culture vulture. In the caption of an photo of Jay Z, Dame Dash, Russell Simmons and Lyor Cohen, Dash attempts to assassinate Cohen’s character:

Look how happy the culture vulture Lyor Cohen looks to be getting money off all of us and our authentic experiences… We’re all mad cause we can’t make money of his him cause he never did anything cool ever…I wonder what sell out from our culture that has been employed by them for years is gonna stick up for him like @djfunkflex did for that clown joi It’s funny how they try to make us fight each to take the focus off them robbing the us…

Earlier this year in an interview with Details Magazine Dash stated that “every single person I see hanging around” Jay Z is “making money off him” and included Lyor Cohen in that list of people.

Check out Dash’s response to Funkmaster Flex and diss to Lyor Cohen on Instagram below:

Lyor Cohen

Mack Maine: Justin Bieber Is Not Racist Because He Has "Legitimately Adopted" The Black Culture

(AllHipHop News) Mack Maine and Lord Jamar agree on something involving racism…to an extent. Earlier today, Mack Maine relayed the message of YMCMB’s continued support of Justin Bieber, even after the recent appearance of racist videos.

In an interview with TMZ, Maine reasons that Beiber has “legitimately adopted the culture of the hip hop, African American culture.” To further justify Young Money/Cash Money Records continued relationship with Beiber, Maine remembers his own childhood racism:

I remember telling a white man, Chinese man, Black man joke as a kid that was terrible and I told it to my friends because I thought they’d think it was funny.

Maine stated that most of Bieber’s friends are Black and he “does not have a slave mentality. He treats his people with respect.”

Days before the racist tapes surfaced, Lil Wayne was videotaped spewing inflammatory remarks towards Justin Bieber’s longtime manager, Scooter Braun. In defense of Lil Twist, Wayne stated “I heard that they got a b*tch a*s ni–a named Scooter that be runnin’ with my little brother Justin Bieber.”

Hip-Hop Rumors: Biggie’s Son Didn’t Come Out The Closet!

Oh boy. This was A LOT a few days ago. I didn’t touch on it, but now that Faith has come out in anger, I guess I will.

A few days ago, Biggie’s son CJ (with Faith) graduated from high school and many claim he came out of the closet at the same time.

Why?

This image:

24yb592.jpg Interesting…

Nevertheless, Faith cursed out blogger Sandra Rose over this.

Posted Image

I think Faith could have picked some better language in this instance. And, to be clear, she didn’t say if he was or was not gay. Lets focus on the graduation. Anyway, here is what’s important.

Go here for The IC’s take on it all.

Hip Hop Rumors: InTouch Magazine Claims Jay Z Cheating With Blonde Becky!

InTouch magazine claims that Jay Z is stepping out on his lady! I admit this is hard to comprehend considering that he once rapped himself “got the hottest chick in the game wearing my chain,” but…these mainstream media people are really going hard.

“One of the hottest girls he’s been seen with more recently is Casey Cohen, a VIP hostess at 1Oak in NYC, reveals another insider. “Jay probably sees her twice a month. He visits her while she’s working and then they slip away for an afterparty, She’ll hang out with him all night, flirting with him and touching him. . . . “

Beyonce is considering divorce, say insiders. After all, evidence suggests Jay isn’t going to change, so it will be Beyonce wwho has to if she can’t live with what she’s hearing.””

This is the chick right here.

Let’s hope this is just one of those pesky rumors…

Until there is more proof, “we don’t believe you / you need more people!”

Lord Jamar: Justin Beiber Is "Not Necessarily" A Racist

(AllHipHop News) File this one under   Yesterday (June 3rd), following videos of a 14 year old Justin Beiber making racist remarks, Lord Jamar addressed the controversy and gave his opinion on Justin Beiber’s racist intentions.

On his personal Twitter account, Lord Jamar acknowledged that Beiber’s racist comments were reprehensible, however stated the Beiber was not a racist simply due to the age at which he said those comments. According to Jamar, Beiber has had time to change from his pre-teen racist speech:

Back in April, Jamar informed HipHopDX was “leeching off black music” due, in part , to the fact that “he got that white fanbase, but he’s making essentially black music.” He reiterates this statement following the revelation of the Beiber racist tapes:

Justin Beiber has not responded to the recently released video of him singing racist lyrics and intimating that he desired to join the KKK.
