DDG Demands Answers After Apple Music Emoji Search Backfires

DDG called out Apple Music on Thursday (July 3) after users noticed that typing the poop emoji into the platform’s search bar pulled up his music alongside novelty songs like “The Poop Song,” prompting the rapper to demand answers.

“Who at Apple Music trolling me since I dropped my new song?” he posted on X, formerly Twitter, along with crying emojis. “Apple Music fix this gang.”

The bizarre search result surfaced the same day he released a new track, adding insult to injury. He later reposted a screenshot from Pop Crave showing the same emoji-linked results and added, “Noooooo not on the same day I drop my song.”

The emoji mishap reignited a long-running internet joke that DDG’s initials stand for “Doo Doo Garbage,” a nickname first introduced by YouTuber SoLLUMINATI in June 2023. The phrase quickly caught on and became a meme, especially after Spotify searches for “💩💩” also led to DDG’s artist page.

The trolling didn’t stay online. During Dream Con, a man called DDG “Doo Doo Garbage” to his face, which led to a scuffle involving his brother DuB. The altercation was caught on video and later cited in court during DDG’s custody battle with actress and singer Halle Bailey.

Despite the meme’s persistence, DDG has repeatedly clarified that his stage name is simply an abbreviation of his full name, Daryl Dwayne Granberry. He’s addressed the ridicule with a mix of sarcasm and irritation, often responding directly to the jokes on social media.

Apple Music has yet to issue a statement regarding the emoji search glitch.

DDG, a Michigan native, first gained attention on YouTube before transitioning into music. Known for blending rap with melodic hooks, he’s built a sizable following through both his tracks and online presence. The emoji search issue was still active as of Friday (July 4).

John Legend Shares Emotional Response To Kanye West’s Recent Attacks

John Legend opened up about Kanye West mocking his scent and sweaters, calling the entire situation “sad.”

The Grammy-winning singer addressed West’s bizarre jab—”They said he smells like mashed potatoes”—during an appearance on Hot 97’s “Ebro in the Morning” earlier this week.

“He was very obsessed with me wearing sweaters,” Legend said. “And he said I smell like mashed potatoes. What kind of potatoes? Cheesy, garlic?”

He continued, insisting he wasn’t offended, adding, “All of it makes me sad, though. All of it does.”

West didn’t stop at the mashed potatoes comment. He also took shots at Legend’s fashion choices and referred to him as a “sissy” during the same interview earlier this year.

Legend, who was once one of West’s closest collaborators, said he wasn’t personally hurt by the insults but is troubled by what West has become.

“It never affects me personally, but just the whole story is sad,” he explained. “Seeing this guy praise Hitler, seeing this guy be like this force of hate and just vitriol and nastiness.”

Reflecting on his legacy, Legend said, “All the things that he’s done to make the world more beautiful and more interesting and then for him to be this now is sad. It’s just sad.”

John Legend Says Kanye West Has Gone “Completely Left”

The two artists were once tightly linked. Legend was one of the first signees to West’s GOOD Music label in 2004 and contributed vocals and songwriting to several of West’s early albums. Their creative chemistry helped shape the sound of early 2000s Hip-Hop and R&B.

However, their relationship deteriorated over West’s political views and descent into controversy.

“He was full of so much energy and creativity and optimism,” Legend recalled. “We really believed we were starting a new movement in music — and we were — and being a part of that was inspiring, it was truly inspiring. That’s why it’s sad now… Even though he’s gone, like, completely left now, I’m so glad that we did what we did together.”

Lizzo Denies Using Ozempic After Previously Admitting To Trying It: “I Worked My Ass Off”

Lizzo unveiled her weight loss regimen and shut down Ozempic rumors on Instagram by posting side-by-side transformation photos and detailing her fitness and nutrition overhaul.

The Grammy Award-winning singer made it clear she hasn’t relied on GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic to slim down. Instead, she credited discipline, sweat and a team of wellness pros for her progress.

“I work my ass off, training 3x a week, daily sauna & cardio, adding animal protein back into my diet, hiring a chef who helps me meal prep and keeps track of what I put into my body in a calorie deficit, cutting out sugary Starbucks & full fat sodas & potato chips…” she wrote.

The 37-year-old also shared that she’s returned to drinking in moderation.

“I quit drinking for the longest… (but I’m drinking again c## I earned it!)… I play pickleball and hike and walk on the beach and move my body and dance and drink water. I detox! Once a month!”

Lizzo also gave a shoutout to celebrity lymphatic massage therapist Flávia Lanini, who she says helped shape her appearance through holistic bodywork.

“The photo on the left is my first time getting lymphatic massage from Flavia, and the right is the most recent!” she wrote. “In light of all these magazines and blogs wanting me to be on Ozempic soooo bad – here’s the truth! I also get holistic body work done, wood therapy, and lymphatic massage.”

She ended her post with a clear message of self-affirmation.

“I’m so happy and proud of what I’ve done and no one can take that away from me.”

Lizzo’s fifth studio album, Love in Real Life, is expected to drop later this year.

Blac Chyna Ends Engagement Seven Months After Public Proposal

Blac Chyna pulled the plug on her engagement to Derrick Milano less than a year after the Grammy-winning songwriter dropped to one knee in front of a crowd at Howard University’s Yard Fest.

The former couple shared identical statements Tuesday (May 14) on Instagram, confirming their split and citing spiritual clarity as the reason behind the decision.

“After much prayer and reflection, Derrick and I have decided to call off the engagement,” the post began. “We love each other deeply and are good friends, but we both believe that God’s guidance has shown us that this is the right path for both of us, as we each continue our journeys. May we find peace and fulfillment in His divine will, trusting that His plan is greater than our own.”

The breakup comes seven months after Milano’s very public proposal on October 18, 2024, where he serenaded Chyna with Mario’s “Let Me Love You” before presenting her with a ring in front of thousands.

The pair began dating in May 2023 and made their relationship Instagram official that September.

The engagement marked Chyna’s third—she was previously engaged to Tyga, with whom she shares a son, King Cairo, and Rob Kardashian, father of her daughter Dream.

The proposal also followed a legal cloud. In September 2024, Chyna’s ex-boyfriend, Twin Hector, filed a lawsuit accusing her of physical and verbal abuse over a three-year relationship, including an alleged violent incident in 2021. He claimed the trauma left him with PTSD and insomnia.

Diddy’s Lawyer Saved Person’s Life As Mogul Awaited Sentencing

Diddy was awaiting a judge’s decision on his $1 million bail request when a man collapsed and began seizing violently on the marble floor of the Manhattan courthouse.

The medical emergency unfolded Wednesday (July 3) on the 26th floor of the federal courthouse just moments after Diddy’s legal team submitted his bail application.

Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo, representing Diddy in the high-profile case, rushed to the man’s side without hesitation.

“I can’t imagine a busier five-minute period in my life,” Agnifilo told The New York Post. “I’m going down to see Combs. Everything was so intense, and my mind was on the case, and I walk out, and a man falls and is clearly seizing. It seemed pretty dire. I was worried about him.”

The man, whose identity has not been released, began convulsing and “repeatedly slamming his head against the marble floor, blood and vomit pouring from his mouth,” according to witnesses.

Agnifilo, who said he had prior experience handling seizures, immediately placed the man in a recovery position.

“I’ve just dealt with lots of seizures. I just know exactly what to do because I’ve dealt with this before,” he said.

His law partner, Jacob Kaplan, supported the man’s head and slid a backpack underneath it to prevent further injury.

Agnifilo’s daughter Sofia, a paralegal on the case and an unidentified member of Diddy’s family, checked the man’s pulse and monitored his breathing until EMS arrived.

The man was eventually carried out on a stretcher. His current condition has not been released by authorities.

The incident occurred as Diddy was in court following his conviction for transporting a person to engage in prostitution.

He was acquitted of more serious trafficking charges. The judge denied Combs’ $1 million bail request. His next hearing is set for July 8, while sentencing is scheduled for October 3.

Eminem’s Detroit WNBA Team Gets Official League Approval

Eminem is officially stepping into the sports ownership arena as part of the newly announced WNBA expansion team in Detroit, which is scheduled to hit the court in 2029.

The WNBA confirmed earlier this week that Detroit, along with Cleveland and Philadelphia, will each receive a new franchise, bringing the league total to 18 teams.

The Motor City’s ownership group is anchored by Tom Gores, owner of the Detroit Pistons, and features a high-profile lineup including Marshall Mathers, Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, former NBA stars Grant Hill and Chris Webber, Lions principal owner Sheila Hamp, and General Motors CEO Mary Barra.

The group reportedly shelled out $250 million for the expansion fee, signaling a serious investment in the future of women’s basketball in Detroit. The team will play its home games at Little Caesars Arena, with plans underway for a new training facility and team headquarters along the city’s riverfront.

“This is a huge win for Detroit and the WNBA,” Gores said in a statement. “Today marks the long-hoped-for return of the WNBA to a city with deep basketball roots and a championship tradition. Detroit played a key role in the league’s early growth, and we’re proud to reignite that legacy as the WNBA ascends to new heights.”

Eminem’s involvement in the WNBA team is more than just a business move. Known for his deep ties to Detroit, the Hip-Hop veteran is using his platform to uplift local sports and youth development efforts.

The WNBA’s expansion comes at a time of surging popularity, with record-setting viewership numbers and merchandise sales driving national momentum.

Cam & China Tragedy—Cause Of Twin Rapper’s Death Revealed

China Walker, one-half of the Cam & China rap duo from Inglewood, has died at age 30 following a private two-year fight with a rare and aggressive form of ovarian cancer.

The news was announced on Wednesday, July 2, by her twin sister and groupmate Cam Walker in a heartfelt Instagram post. The pair had kept China’s diagnosis out of the public eye until her death.

“Most don’t know, China has been fighting a rare, aggressive Ovarian Cancer for 2 years,” Cam wrote. “Tonight, she transitioned and is now resting peacefully. Give me time to grieve in peace, but know she loved all our supporters.”

Cam also posted a photo of the two sisters together, along with a message urging people to stay connected with their loved ones.

“Check on yo people, you never know what they are going thru until it’s too late,” she added.

The duo first gained attention in 2016 with their self-titled EP, which showcased their lyrical chemistry. The loss also highlights the devastating impact of ovarian cancer, a disease that often goes undetected until its later stages.

According to the American Cancer Society, ovarian cancer ranks fifth in cancer deaths among women, and early detection remains difficult due to vague symptoms.

Cam has not shared any further details about memorial plans or future music, asking for privacy during this time.

Trippie Redd Thrown In Jail On 4th Of July

Trippie Redd was taken into custody at Miami International Airport on July 4.

The rapper was busted while attempting to board a flight to France due to an outstanding warrant from 2023, according to Miami-Dade County authorities.

He was arrested without incident and transported to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Officials have not released details about the original charge tied to the warrant.

The arrest happened on Independence Day, just weeks after Trippie and Coi Leray welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Miyoco.

The baby’s name blends “Mi” from Trippie Redd’s first name and “co” from Coi’s, and also translates to “beautiful child” in Japanese.

The couple’s relationship has been on and off since they first linked up years ago.

They rekindled in 2024 but reportedly split again before their daughter’s birth in June 2025.

The arrest adds another chapter to Trippie’s turbulent public life, which now includes legal issues, a new child and a complicated relationship with Coi Leray.

As of Friday morning, Trippie Redd remained in custody at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, according to NBC Miami.

The Outlawz were founded by Tupac Shakur and Yaki Kadafi in 1995, initially emerging from Shakur’s earlier collaborations with groups like Dramacydal and Thug Life. The group, whose name stands for “Operating Under Thug Laws As Warriors,” first gained widespread recognition through their appearance on Shakur’s track “When We Ride” from his multi-platinum album All Eyez on Me, and became especially notable for their role on the infamous diss track “Hit ‘Em Up.”

Members adopted aliases inspired by controversial world leaders, with Shakur himself taking the name “Makaveli.” The original lineup included Kastro, E.D.I. Mean, Hussein Fatal, Napoleon, Yaki Kadafi, Young Noble and the sole female member, Storm.

After Shakur’s murder in 1996, the group faced significant turmoil, including the deaths of Kadafi and Hussein Fatal, but continued to release music, including the platinum-certified album Still I Rise in collaboration with Shakur.

Young Noble, who joined the group in 1996 as the last member, survived a serious heart attack in 2021. He wrote at the time, “Thank you to all my luved ones who been praying for me I had 1 of the worst days of my life yesterday I had a serious heart attack but God is too good & the amazing doctors brung me back an they getting me right.

“I plan to put everything in my life on hold while I recover an get my health all the way right…This will only make me stronger I’m grateful for a second chance an I beg y’all please please please take your health serious all the unhealthy living an stress catches up sooner than later!”

In December 2024, Young Noble sat down for his first interview in seven years in which he got emotional talking about both the murders of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G.

“It was crazy,” he said. “Biggie dying affected us, too […] I was almost questioning like, ‘Damn man, maybe I should have stayed in school and figured something else out.’ Like, ‘I don’t know if I made the right decision getting in the car with [Hussein] Fatal and Yaki [Kadafi] that day. This doesn’t feel good. I left the hood to come to California. I was tired of death and all this b#######. Two of my friends just died back to back. It was horrible. Horrible for Hip-Hop.”

Sonstar Peterson Reveals Son Tory Lanez’s First Book Will Change Lives

Sonstar Peterson says his son, Tory Lanez, is preparing to release a self-help book from behind bars and hinted at a possible early release, claiming, “He’s coming out.”

Speaking during a recent interview, Peterson revealed the pair co-authored a book titled The 360 Phenomenon, which he believes will have a major impact.

“Tory and I, we’re about to put out a book I think that’s going to be majorly transformative for a lot of people,” he said. “It’s called The 360 Phenomenon.”

The book centers around the idea that life moves in cycles, not straight lines.

“We created this thing whereby we could show people how you can start where you are, no matter where you start on that wheel, and you can literally go through a transformation of your thought process, your thinking within 90 days,” Peterson said. “I’m not telling you in 90 days you’re going to become a breakaway success, but it starts with you literally transforming your perspective on life.”

Peterson also suggested his son may not serve the complete 10-year sentence he received in August 2023 after being convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020.

“I wouldn’t go on record giving a date right now,” he said. “But what I will say is that there are movements happening in the background and the powers that be can clearly see that this was a hatchet job.”

Tory Lanez was found guilty on three felony counts: assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

The incident occurred after a party at Kylie Jenner’s home, where an argument escalated in a vehicle. Megan testified that Lanez shot her in the feet as she exited the car.

Tory Lanez’s legal team has since launched 36hourslater.com, a website that claims to present “suppressed evidence” from the trial.

The site includes police bodycam footage, audio from witnesses, and expert commentary.

One video features an eyewitness, Sean Kelly, allegedly telling police he saw a woman—believed to be Kelsey Harris—fire the weapon.

Another clip shows Megan initially telling officers she stepped on glass, a statement she later said was meant to protect those involved.

Despite the new material, Megan’s legal team maintains that the original evidence, including text messages, medical records, and sworn testimony, supports the conviction.

Lanez’s appeal is ongoing, but his dad is confident the ruling will swing in his son’s favor.

“I believe it is much sooner than a lot of people think, much sooner than later. And yeah, he’s coming, he’s coming out, he’s coming out,” Peterson said.

Beanie Sigel Reclaims His Voice With AI After Life-Threatening Shooting

Beanie Sigel resurfaced on a new track with his signature grit and lyrical precision—thanks to artificial intelligence helping him reclaim the voice he damaged after a 2014 shooting.

The Philadelphia rap veteran appears on “Motion Picture,” a standout cut from local artist D. Jones’s new album Still Counting Blessings, alongside Jadakiss and K. Gibbs.

But what really garnered attention wasn’t just the lineup—it was the return of the old Beans sound, made possible by AI.

In a 2023 interview, Sigel revealed he’s been working on a full project using artificial intelligence to digitally recreate the gravelly tone that defined his early career. That voice was damaged in a near-fatal shooting nearly a decade ago.

“And I think I found a good friend with this AI thing. Yeah. A lot of people frown on AI, but I think that’s gonna work for me,” he explained. “It’s definitely for me. Y’all want, what they say, the ‘old Beans’ back? ‘Cause the pen’s still there.”

The collaboration came together unexpectedly, according to D. Jones, who said the track was the result of a sample clearance issue. That twist of fate opened the door for Sigel to jump on the record.

Beanie Sigel Recalls Vocal Damage

In 2014, Siegel was shot in the stomach outside his Pleasantville, New Jersey home. The bullet exited through his back, damaging his lungs and vocal cords. The aftermath left his voice permanently altered.

“My vocals came out of — I was in a coma,” Sigel said in a 2023 interview. “So, when I was coming out of it — I had a breathing tube down my throat. So when I first woke up out the coma, I didn’t know where I was at. And I pulled the breathing tube out. So it tore up s### in my throat. And I had staples in my stomach. So when I was yanking — I couldn’t get it out. It made me gag, and I bust all the staples in my stomach. It just opened up.”

Despite the trauma, the Roc-A-Fella alum never lost his lyrical edge. Now, with AI stepping in to recreate his old vocal tone, Sigel is gearing up for a full-circle return.

Meanwhile, Beanie Sigel could also team up with The D.O.C., whose vocal cords were crushed in a notorious car crash. Check out his conversation with Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur and DJ Thoro for AllHipHop below.

6ix9ine Admits To Having Cocaine & MDMA Following Drug Bust

6ix9ine admitted to possessing cocaine and MDMA in connection with a March 2025 raid at his Florida home, a move that will likely spare him a full evidentiary hearing ahead of his supervised release violation hearing in July.

According to a court filing, 6ix9ine will plead guilty to two supervised release violations—specifically, the discovery of three MDMA pills and a bag containing cocaine residue.

The drugs were found during a probation compliance check at his South Florida estate.

The March 12 raid was prompted by a tip from a confidential informant who alleged the rapper had drugs and firearms at his residence.

Federal agents and local law enforcement executed the search warrant early that morning, detaining Hernandez from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. while they combed through the property.

Authorities reported seizing a Glock 9mm handgun from a pool house, along with fentanyl, marijuana and other narcotics.

However, the government will dismiss the two other supervised release violations—related to the fentanyl and firearm—once Hernandez formally admits to the drug charges.

Following the admission, prosecutors will request that their witnesses, who would otherwise travel from Florida to testify, be excused from the July 23 hearing.

6ix9ine has maintained that the drugs and weapon were not his, previously claiming they were planted by a “former friend/snitch.”

Despite his denial, he now appears ready to accept partial responsibility, which could influence sentencing.

The rapper’s legal team is expected to ask for a delay in sentencing after the July hearing.

6ix9ine remains under strict probation conditions, including a ban on possessing firearms or controlled substances and limited travel permissions.

Big Boi Speaks Out Following Tragic Death Of Uncle In Road Rage Shooting

Big Boi is mourning the devastating loss of his uncle after a road rage confrontation turned deadly on a busy Atlanta street last month.

Remoin Thomas Patton Sr., 66, was shot and killed on June 16 while trying to make a turn near Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard NW and Rock Street, according to the Atlanta Police Department.

The altercation escalated when Patton exchanged words with another driver and was shot in the back. His vehicle then crashed into a vacant home.

The man accused of pulling the trigger, 18-year-old Jabyrion Crumbley, turned himself in on July 2. He faces charges of murder, aggravated assault and illegal possession of a firearm.

His alleged accomplice, 32-year-old Janisha Crumbley, was arrested on June 20 for hindering the apprehension of a fugitive.

Patton’s nephew, Big Boi, one-half of the legendary Hip-Hop duo Outkast, issued a heartfelt statement following the tragedy.

“Everybody who knows Uncle Moonie heart aches,” he told WSB-TV. “He wasn’t just ‘My’ Uncle, he was Unk to all that met him. A moment of rage has in totally pierced the heart of my family forever. May Uncle Moonie’s soul rest in peace.”

Police said the incident began as a traffic dispute and quickly escalated into violence.

After being shot, Patton lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a nearby residence. No one inside the home was injured.

The Atlanta Police Department launched an investigation immediately after the shooting. Surveillance footage and witness accounts helped identify the suspects.

Jabyrion Crumbley remains in custody as of July 3.

His next court appearance has not yet been scheduled.

50 Cent Takes Rare Loss: Judge Blocks Rapper’s Attempt To Shut Down Movie

50 Cent failed to convince a federal judge to block the upcoming release of the horror film Skillhouse after alleging the project used his image without a signed deal or compensation.

On July 3, U.S. District Judge Hernán D. Vera denied the rapper’s request for a preliminary injunction, clearing the way for the film’s theatrical debut on July 11 through Fathom Events.

The lawsuit, filed in April by 50 Cent and his company NYC Vibe, accuses producers Ryan Kavanaugh of exploiting his name, voice, and likeness without authorization.

“Here, the parties disagree as to the critical fact in the case: whether Jackson signed the Binding Term Sheet and/or Certificate of Employment (collectively the ‘Agreement’) on August 2, 2022,” Judge Vera wrote in his ruling. “But even accepting Plaintiffs’ contention that no final Agreement was ever executed, the evidence before the Court raises numerous (and substantive) disputes of fact and law concerning whether the parties’ course of conduct evinces mutual agreement as to the Agreement’s material terms.”

The lawsuit claims that 50 Cent and his son, Sire, participated in filming scenes for Skillhouse in 2022 under the assumption that a formal contract would follow.

According to court filings, no finalized agreement was ever signed, and neither 50 Cent nor his son received payment or creative control over the project.

The complaint also accuses the defendants of promoting the film using 50 Cent’s brand and likeness without consent, citing trademark infringement, false advertising, and violation of publicity rights.

50 Cent argued that the unauthorized use of his intellectual property could damage his reputation and business ventures.

Despite those claims, the judge ruled that 50 Cent did not meet the legal threshold for halting the release, though the broader lawsuit remains active.

Directed by Josh Stolberg, Skillhouse stars TikTok personality Bryce Hall, Paige VanZant, and Neal McDonough. The film delves into the darker aspects of influencer culture and was shot in 2022.

Skillhouse is still set to hit theaters on July 11.

Meek Mill Shuts Down Diddy Rumors: “I Am Not Affiliated With Puff Daddy’s Sexual Life”

Meek Mill shut down speculation linking him to Diddy and the swirling lawsuit that hinted at a sexual relationship between the two, calling the claims baseless.

The Philly native set the record straight on the rumors during a Complex interview published Thursday (July 4) and conducted (June 1).

“I’m being literally up front about it, talking about it in the open while [Diddy’s] on federal trial to make it known that I am not affiliated with Puff Daddy’s sexual life or personal life and never have been,” Meek said, addressing the rumors head-on.

The allegations stem from a lawsuit filed by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, who claimed that Diddy told him he had sexual encounters with an unnamed rapper described in court documents as “a Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj.”

That vague description led many online to assume Meek was the person referenced, though the lawsuit never directly named him or accused him of any illegal activity.

Meek continued, rejecting the idea he was ever involved in the type of behavior described in the lawsuit.

“When I come around from Philadelphia, I always come around with three, four people,” he explained. “I’ve never been in these types of environments without my guys around. A lot of people, they said sex parties. I attended New Year’s parties. I never attended [Diddy’s] white parties.”

He also expressed frustration over how quickly the story spread online despite the lack of evidence or direct accusations against him.

“My credibility and my morals as a man has never been questioned in reality,” Meek said. “The moment that a random goofy guy files an anonymous lawsuit… a lot of publications picked up that story in a certain way, which led to millions and millions of comments that was 20% real people, 80% bots that were funded.”

Meek Mill Questions Lack Of Support From Diddy’s Peers

Meek also took aim at what he sees as a broader agenda targeting Black artists in Hip-Hop.

“I truly believe it is a group of people aiming to tear down rappers, or Black entertainers involved in this culture through media platforms,” he said.

He questioned why more people from Diddy’s circle haven’t spoken publicly about the nature of the parties mentioned in the lawsuit.

“It’s kind of suspicious to me that none of those people from the Black community never spoke up and said those parties they went to wasn’t straight freak offs,” Meek said. “I can just say, for me, I would never step in anywhere that I see anything that doesn’t align with my morals.”

The interview was recorded before a verdict was reached in Diddy’s federal case.

USHER Axes Long-Awaited Australian Tour Dates Leaving Ticket Holders Fuming

USHER has pulled the plug on the Australian leg of his Past Present Future tour just months before he was set to hit the stage in Melbourne and Sydney, marking what would have been his first live shows in the country in nearly 14 years.

Twelve concerts scheduled for November and December have been scrapped, according to a statement posted on Ticketek by promoter Live Nation.

“The promoter of Usher’s Australian tour regrets to advise that the scheduled shows to take place in November/December will no longer be proceeding,” the message read.

No explanation has been provided for the abrupt cancellation. However, Live Nation confirmed that all ticket purchases will be fully refunded to the original payment method.

Customers have been advised to allow up to 30 days for refunds to be reflected in their accounts.

The Grammy-winning singer first revealed the Australian dates in March, teasing his return with the phrase “the A to the AUS” in a post on X.com.

Tickets went on sale in May and demand was so intense that four extra shows were added to the original schedule. The Past Present Future tour launched in August 2024 and has already made stops across the United States and Europe.

The tour has featured a rotating cast of high-profile guests, including Stevie Wonder, Boyz II Men, Naomi Campbell, Estelle, Craig David and LL COOL J.

USHER’s last performance in Australia was in 2010. His return had been highly anticipated, especially after his recent Super Bowl halftime show and Las Vegas residency reignited global interest in his live performances.

As of now, no rescheduled dates or alternate plans for Australia have been announced.

Philly Mayor Reacts To LL Cool J Pulling Out Of July 4th Concert Over Strike

LL Cool J pulled out of Philadelphia’s Wawa Welcome America concert scheduled for July 4 on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, citing support for striking city workers and refusing to perform while labor negotiations remain unresolved.

The Hip-Hop icon announced his decision Thursday night via Instagram, just one day before the event, stating that he would not cross a picket line while thousands of municipal employees continued their walkout for better pay and benefits.

“But there’s absolutely no way that I can perform, cross a picket line, and pick up money when I know that people are out there fighting for a living wage. I’m not doing that, you know what I’m saying?” he said in the video.

The strike, led by AFSCME District Council 33, began July 1 and marks Philadelphia’s first major municipal labor stoppage since 1986.

More than 9,000 workers—including sanitation crews, 911 dispatchers and water department staff—have walked off the job, disrupting essential services across the city.

Mayor Cherelle Parker responded to LL Cool J’s announcement, expressing appreciation for his stance while acknowledging the city’s ongoing challenges.

“I am aware that LL Cool J has decided not to perform at WAWA Welcome America’s July 4th Concert tomorrow evening on the Parkway. I spoke personally with LL Cool J today. I respect his decision and understand his desire to see the city unified. He is always welcome in Philadelphia,” Parker said in a statement.

The strike has already led to trash pileups, delays in morgue operations and heightened tensions between city officials and union leaders. The union leaders rejected the city’s offer of an 8% raise over three years, calling it inadequate given the rising cost of living.

LL Cool J added that he still plans to be in Philadelphia in case a deal is reached.

“I hope that the mayor and the city can make a deal; I hope it works out. I’m still going to come to Philly in case it works out. I’m going to be in town, y’all. I’m just letting you know I’m not going to cross a picket line and perform for money when people are hurt.”

T.I. & Tiny Harris Hit With Explosive Trafficking Allegations Involving Son King Harris

T.I. and Tiny Harris are once again in the crosshairs of longtime accuser Sabrina Peterson, who reignited her claims on Instagram and dragged their son, King Harris, into the firestorm with new allegations tied to sex trafficking.

Peterson lashed out after Tiny publicly reacted to the Diddy verdict, commenting “ppl wnna charge u so bad for being freaky is nasty work.” That triggered a sharp response from Peterson, who posted a screenshot of Tiny’s reply: “Lying on me was the BEGINNING OF YOUR END.”

Peterson followed up with a pointed warning: “Don’t worry you’re next. It’s the trafficking, coercion, prostitution & you can’t give consent while forcing your victims to take drugs. NLB.”

In a string of Instagram Stories and posts, Peterson accused the couple of taunting their alleged victims and claimed she’s sitting on a vault of “sex trafficking receipts” she plans to release starting on her birthday, July 19.

“I have protected your children!” she wrote. “I have protected my attorneys, I have protected VICTIMS but truth is on my birthday it’s about me. 7/19. The FEDS ALREADY HAVE THIS! I think the FANS NEED IT.”

She also shared a text message exchange, allegedly between King Harris and a girl she described as “trafficked,” claiming the girl’s family reached out to her legal team over concerns their child was “in a web of drug & prostitution lead by the HARRIS FAMILY.”

Peterson put the couple on blast, claiming T.I. made Tiny “EAT EVERY BOX IN ATLANTA TO GET A RING.”

She added that some of the material she plans to post can’t be shared on Instagram “due to nudity.”

Sabrina Peterson Previous Allegations Against T.I. & Tiny Harris

The renewed accusations come years after Peterson first accused T.I. of pulling a gun on her during a past dispute.

That 2021 claim snowballed into broader allegations that the couple drugged and sexually assaulted multiple women, with Peterson sharing messages from more than 15 alleged victims.

T.I. and Tiny have consistently denied all allegations, calling them “salacious, fabricated stories” and warning of legal consequences.

In 2021, Peterson filed a defamation lawsuit against the couple, which was largely dismissed by March 2025. The court ordered her to pay nearly $97,000 in legal fees to the Harrises.

The claims were previously investigated by Los Angeles authorities in 2021. However, the district attorney declined to prosecute due to the statute of limitations.

T.I. later countersued Peterson for defamation, accusing her of launching a campaign of “false and damaging” statements after their friendship soured.

Diddy Juror Says “Freak-Off” Footage Was “Eye-Opening” But Not Forced

Sean “Diddy” Combs juror George, one of six alternates in the high-profile trial, broke his silence Thursday night (July 3), describing Cassie Ventura’s courtroom testimony and the explicit video evidence shown to the jury as “very riveting” and “eye-opening” but ultimately not coercive.

“They were very graphic, but I think overall, we were looking at it from one side; it was definitely riveting and eye-opening,” George told CNN about the so-called “freak-off” footage shown during the proceedings. “There was sexual activity, but it didn’t seem forced,” he said. “It was actually like pretty tame. It was just a lot of rubbing oil.”

George, who sat through the entire trial and took 350 pages of notes, said court officials didn’t tell him he was an alternate until just before deliberations began. Still, he felt aligned with the final outcome.

“I understood the final verdict,” he said. “I think reading all my notes and looking back at the evidence, I probably would’ve reached the same conclusion.”

The case centered around allegations of sex trafficking and abuse, with Ventura’s testimony serving as a pivotal moment. George said her time on the stand was compelling and believable.

“I think we did,” he said when asked if the jury believed Ventura. “She wouldn’t have done all this just to come up there and lie about everything.”

Juror Claims Diddy Was “Very Composed” Throughout Trial

He also acknowledged the difficulty in proving the trafficking charge against Diddy, especially given the nature of the evidence.

“It was a difficult thing to prove,” he said, claiming that Ventura’s text messages presented during the trial made the relationship appear “very consensual.”

As for the 2016 hotel surveillance video involving Ventura, George said, “It was a very bad video. I think they showed it enough.” But he noted, “He wasn’t charged with domestic violence.”

“We looked at… what the judge had said we were supposed to look at, and then based off of the evidence that was presented to us,” he added.

George also commented on Diddy’s demeanor in court, calling him “very composed” and “very in control,” and said, “He was fighting for himself.”

When it came to other witnesses, George was less convinced. He described Dawn Richard’s testimony as “like watching TV” and said the defense made her seem “very not credible.”

He found parts of “Jane’s” testimony believable but admitted some inconsistencies stood out. “Some parts didn’t add up,” he said, adding he was “surprised” to learn Diddy was covering her rent and legal expenses.

The trial wrapped up earlier this week, with deliberations concluding just days before George spoke publicly.

A federal jury found Diddy guilty of two counts of transporting women for prostitution, sentencing him to a possible 20 years in prison. The jury also acquitted him of the more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges. He will remain in custody until his October 3, 2025 sentencing.

Diddy’s Ex-Chef Said She Feared Being Killed For Telling Truth

Jourdan Atkinson, the former private chef for Sean “Diddy” Combs, says she’s living in fear after publicly alleging she was abused by the embattled Hip-Hop mogul and witnessed him assault Cassie Ventura following his conviction on federal charges.

Atkinson, who once worked inside Diddy’s inner circle, posted a video and documents to Instagram after submitting a letter to the judge asking that Combs be denied bail ahead of sentencing.

“This is a grave miscarriage of justice,” she said in the video.

She also claimed federal agents showed up at her home in March 2004. “I refused to speak to them because I was terrified,” she said, adding that she was served a grand jury subpoena that same day.

According to Atkinson, a month later, Combs’ attorney reached out and offered to “cover my legal fees,” which she interpreted as “witness tampering.”

She said she was scheduled to testify on May 20 but was pulled from the witness list after she “flipped out on the government.”

She described herself as “traumatized” and said she still doesn’t feel “safe.”

In the caption of her post, Atkinson alleged that Combs assaulted her in 2008. She said she reported the incident to industry executives but was warned she’d be “blackballed” if she went public.

She also said she feared for her life after learning about the alleged abuse of Ventura. “I believed that I would be unalived if I told about Cassie’s abuse,” she wrote, adding that she feels she failed both herself and Ventura.

Atkinson Hopes Diddy Gets Maximum Sentence

Atkinson accused multiple executives of helping to conceal Combs’ behavior.

“The music & entertainment business is DIRTY! Abuses of women, money, power & drugs is normalized,” she wrote. “I hope he gets the full 20yrs at the very least!” she added. “But I’am not holding my breath.”

In a letter to the judge, Atkinson expressed concern about potential retaliation. “This verdict is devastating,” she wrote. “I fear for my safety upon his release.”

Combs was found guilty of two federal felony counts of transportation to engage in prostitution—one involving Ventura and another involving a woman identified as “Jane.” Each count carries a maximum sentence of 10 years.

He was acquitted of the more serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion.

Combs was denied bail and will remain in custody until sentencing, which is set for Thursday, October 3.
