Lil Wayne Teases New ‘Dedication 6’ Releases & “DNA” Freestyle

(AllHipHop Rumors) Lil Wayne recently took to his Instagram story to hint at him releasing some new tracks.
The New Orleans rapper is teaming up once again with DJ Drama for the anticipated ‘Dedication 6’ mixtape which is due to drop around Christmas.
In a video with the caption “#D6 might just release some early”, Weezy and Drama can be seen in the studio cooking up that heat, and it sounds like we can hear a Kendrick Lamar “DNA” sample playing in the background.
I guess it’s safe to say Wayne is gearing up to bring his fans some fire they’ve all been waiting on.
Meanwhile, back at the Ranch, Weezy’s old pal Birdman is watching from the sidelines, allegedly packing up his belongings as he prepares to allegedly lose his infamous Miami mansion over a $12 million loan.
With so much time under his belt since the last release of new music, we know Wayne is going to drop some sick
metaphors and dope lyrics as only he can do.

Peep Why Cardi B Almost Quit The Rap Game!

That’s what we’ve learned this week about the rap phenomenon known as Cardi B.
She shared with her fans a very intimate, early part of her career that left her feeling down and unmotivated to keep going with her career aspirations.
The Bronx-native expressed how happy she was to be invited to feature on someone’s song.
“I felt like my verse was so poppin’”, she said before adding that eventually she was cut due to her small star status. She continued, “..it almost teared me up so bad. I was like,’ I don’t wanna do this sh-t anymore’”.
Luckily for all of us, the Bodak Bombshell decided to stick with her passion and hold strong to faith, as she has had a fantastic year on the Billboard charts. With “Bodak Yellow” continuing to light up the airwaves. Along with her most recent features with the Migos & G-Eazy, she’s the perfect example of persistence paying off.

The Game Sued By 40 Glocc Over Non-Payment
(AllHipHop News) The Game is facing a new lawsuit from rap rival 40 Glocc over an outstanding payment relating to a past battery incident.
40 Glocc, real name Lawrence White, took the “Dreams” hitmaker to court in 2013, claiming he had been subjected to a beating at the hands of the 38-year-old and his entourage in Los Angeles in 2012.
The alleged altercation, which was caught on camera, left White with injuries to his right eye, ribs, kidneys, and back, and the judge overseeing the case eventually ruled in the plaintiff’s favor, with The Game ordered to pay damages.
However, he has reportedly failed to do so, and now White is suing again for payment.
In legal papers obtained by TMZ.com, White explains the original ruling was for just under $ 200,000, but he is seeking additional interest, which he alleges bumps up the outstanding amount to about $216,776.
The Game, born Jayceon Taylor, has yet to respond to the suit.

(AllHipHop Rumors) ‘Tis the season for cuddles, and even rap’s most abrasive, filter-free, lyrical giant Eminem is no stranger to the lonely feels of being single around the Holidays.
Also, like most of us, he apparently doesn’t mind using the ‘net to try and find love. But, when Mr. Marshall Mathers decided to be completely open and honest during an interview with Vulture, we al l might’ve learned a little more than what we’ve bargained for…and we’re still waiting for him to yell “SIKE!”.
When asked how he meets new potential encounters for dates and “things”, Em went on record and replied that he uses “Tinder, Grindr, strip clubs”.
It MUST be noted, however, that Grindr is an app for gay men to find love and hookups.
We are still trying to figure out if he simply didn’t understand what a Grindr was, and maybe just glossed over the answer in haste. OR, if he was a bit too tired to remember what a Grindr was before correcting the interviewer. OR…and this could be fruitfully juicy….if Eminem has found some cleverly, undercover way to let us know he plays in the pickle garden for fun.

Khalid, 21 Savage & SZA Among 2017’s First-Time RIAA Award Recipients
(AllHipHop News) 2017 was a commendable year for a lot of musical neophytes. The Recording Industry Association of America recognized the musicians that managed to earn Gold and Platinum awards for the first time over the last 12 months.
According to the RIAA, singer-songwriter Khalid was the only new artist to earn a Platinum Album Award in 2017. American Teen was certified for surpassing 1 million units on October 24.
Projects by fellow fresh faces 21 Savage, SZA, and Russ broke the 500,000 unit mark this year. 21’s Issa Album was certified Gold in October, SZA’s Ctrl was certified Gold that same month, and Russ’ There’s Really a Wolf was certified Gold in August.
21 Savage also earned his first Multi-Platinum RIAA Song Award in 2017. “Bank Account” is currently certified 2x Platinum.
Breakout rap sensation Cardi B collected a 3x Platinum plaque for the #1 hit “Bodak Yellow.” Aminé, Kyle, Young M.A, and A Boogie wit da Hoodie were listed as Multi-Platinum RIAA Song Award first timers as well.
In total, 2017 saw 64 acts earned their first Gold or Platinum Awards. Other notable Hip Hop entertainers on the RIAA’s year-end list include 6lack, Dae Dae, Denzel Curry, DJ Esco, Dreezy, Goldlink, Joey Bada$$, Kap G, Lil Yachty, Nebu Kiniza, NF, Playboi Carti, PnB Rock, Rich Chigga, Smokepurpp, Tee Grizzley, Ugly God, XXXTentacion, and YFN Lucci.
Khia Claps Back At Reginae Carter, Takes Shot At Lil Wayne

(AllHipHop Rumors) Whew…Ms. Khia, aka Thug Misses, aka Ms. My Neck, My Back, aka No Filter is not here for Toya Wright nor any of her domestic shenanigans.
She, and co-host TS Madison took to Instagram to provide their own commentary on Toya Wright’s recent pregnancy, and who the “alleged” baby father may be.
Khia holds no punches if she feels the need to speak her mind, and at times one may wonder if she’s just joking or spilling piping hot tea straight from the streets.
She stated that Wright’s baby father is a guy by the name of Red, a sports agent, who is also a relative of R&B singer, Faith Evans. She also went on to state that she doesn’t understand why she will be retaining the last name, Wright, and insinuated that her pregnancy is just a scheme to “secure the bag”…basically the reason that Red has yet to “put a ring on it”.
While we are unsure of the validity of these statements, it’s certainly a head-scratcher to say the least.
Toya and Reginae Carter also decided to take to Instagram to express their grievances with her commentary, going on to state that Khia needs to worry about “making a hit”.
While we can’t argue with that, it was also pretty entertaining when Khia and Madison decided to clap back once again when they posted a video mocking Reginae’s claim of “we’re working” by repeating it over and over during a photoshoot. It’s hard to say when this foolery will end, and even more importantly, when Toya will indeed change her last name.
But let’s get into Khia’s most recent clap back. The retired rapper also decided that she would give Reginae an alleged lesson about her family history.
OMG, Khia even told Reginae that she has always had to be the adult in their home because she says that Toya had Reginae at 14, Toya’s dad allegedly wasn’t around, Lil Wayne was allegedly never around, and Toya was allegedly raised in trap houses by her mother.
Khia also told Reginae that Trina was allegedly “swinging” with Toya and Lil Wayne. Thug Misses even said that Toya was “swinging” with Birdman too all while Birdman was kissing Wayne in the mouth. Khia basically alluded to the fact that she felt like Birdman and Lil Wayne allegedly carried on a relationship.
Before getting back to Toya, Khia told Reginae that she hasn’t been anything but a meal ticket, and she claims that Toya would allegedly have Reginae call her father Lil Wayne for any and everything for her 19 years on earth. She even told Reg that she has no talent, and that’s why the OMG Girlz didn’t want her.

Netflix Releases Clip From Dave Chappelle’s ‘Equanimity’ Special
(AllHipHop News) Dave Chappelle returned to his old stomping grounds of Washington, DC for his upcoming Netflix stand-up special Equanimity. The video streamer provided a taste of what to expect on the show by uploading the “Voting in the 2016 Election” clip to YouTube.
The Stan Lathan directed Equanimity will be available for streaming beginning on New Year’s Eve. Chappelle previously provided the Netflix specials Deep In The Heart Of Texas and The Age Of Spin.
Deep and Spin were huge hits for Netflix. Dave Chappelle: Collection 1 was named the most viewed comedy special ever on the platform.
Eminem Previews “Walk On Water” Video, Rumored For Coachella Festival
(AllHipHop News) Back in November, Eminem released the single “Walk On Water” featuring Beyoncé. A music video for the opening track off the Revival album is apparently on the way.
Em posted a “Walk On Water” teaser clip on Instagram and Twitter. However, it’s still not clear when the full visuals will hit the internet.
In other news, there are reports the Detroit wordsmith could be one of the headliners for the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Beyoncé is also rumored to be co-headlining the event, so the two superstars could possibly unite on stage in Indio, California.
Coachella organizers are expected to announce the official lineup in early January. The 2018 edition is scheduled for April 13-15 and April 20-22.

DJ Akademiks On ‘Everyday Struggle’: Best Thing For Hip Hop In Years
(AllHipHop News) The fallout from Joe Budden parting ways with Everyday Struggle continues to play out. This week’s episode of The Joe Budden Podcast was mostly focused on the talking head explaining why things did not work out between him and Complex and its parent company Verizon.
Budden’s former Everyday Struggle co-host DJ Akademiks has also been using various outlets to give his side of the situation. Last night, the YouTube celebrity posted several tweets addressing his role in trying to prevent the breakup of the popular digital series.
Akademiks wrote:
I wish I could solve all issues .. I wish everyday struggle could me and joe n nadeska.. I’ve asked.. I’ved tried to explore every possibility … unfortunately that’s not that case. It’s sad but that’s what I’m faced with. I dunno what’s the deal wit complex and joe … not completely … I’m left under contract … tryna figure out my own thing… I want what we built over these last few months … but I can’t make these decisions. It’s sad. But it’s reality. Tryna figure how to move. Everyday struggle with me and joe was the best thing to happen to complex and hip hop in years. According to a Complex representative, Everyday Struggle will return in 2018 with new episodes and guests. The company stated, “We wish Joe all the best and thank him for a great 2017.”

Police Recover Kendrick Lamar Engineer MixedByAli’s Stolen Hard Drive
(AllHipHop News) A hard drive owned by Derek “MixedByAli” Ali was stolen from a vehicle on December 7. According to the L.A. Daily News, police have recovered the encrypted device which contained more than $1 million worth of original music.
23-year-old Jonjairo Espinoza was arrested on December 8 and charged with seven counts of burglary and three counts of grand theft. Ali was among at least 14 different victims.
Detectives discovered Espinoza’s fingerprint on the door of Ali’s BMW i8. The hard drive was found in the suspect’s car.
MixedByAli won a Grammy award for his contribution to Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly album. He has the chance to collect more trophies in 2018 with Lamar’s DAMN being up for Album Of The Year and “Humble” being up for Record Of The Year.
Cardi B Talks “Bartier Cardi”, Grammy Noms & More On ‘Tonight Show’

Nelly’s Rape Accuser Sues As Details Of Alleged Rape Emerge
The woman who accused rapper Nelly of rape is taking him to civil court.
The “Hot in Herre” hitmaker was arrested in Washington in October after an unnamed woman told police officials he had sexually assaulted her on his tour bus.
The alleged victim was subsequently identified as Monique Greene, but she declined to testify and press charges against the hip-hop star, resulting in King County prosecutors officially dropping the case last week.
Nelly, who vehemently denied the accusations, then announced plans to sue Greene, but she has since beaten him to the courthouse after filing documents for defamation and sexual assault.
In the paperwork, Greene claims she had been hanging out with Nelly at the Seattle club where she was employed as a hostess on the night of his performance on 6 October, although she wasn’t working at the time of their supposed encounter.
She alleges Nelly invited her to an afterparty on his tour bus, and when she boarded, she headed straight to the back of the vehicle, where the rapper’s bedroom was located.
She sat on the bed, where Nelly joined her and purportedly began masturbating.
Greene maintains the star then forced her to have sex and reportedly refused her pleas for him to wear a condom, and when it was all over, she screamed to be let off the bus.
A member of Nelly’s entourage is said to have pushed her off the vehicle, with the rapper allegedly throwing a $100 bill her way and bidding her “bye bye”.
Greene called the police over the incident and was taken to a medical center for treatment, while Nelly was arrested on suspicion of second-degree rape.
She also defends her decision not to follow through with the criminal charges in her lawsuit, expressing concerns that she wouldn’t be able to “stand up against a celebrity and that the criminal system would fail her,” and accuses Nelly’s representatives of targeting her in a smear campaign, claiming she was only interested in “money, fame, and notoriety.”
Greene is suing for undisclosed damages.
Nelly has yet to respond to the suit, but he had been preparing to take her to court in an effort to begin “restoring his reputation”.

Twista Raises Money And Toys For Chicago Children
(AllHipHop News) Twista hosted his 1st annual holiday toy drive earlier this week In Chicago.
The Chicago rap legend linked up with some famous DJs, including Kid Capri, DJ Terry Hunter, DJ Pharris, Sean Mac, and DJ Mustafa Rocks.
The team collected thousands of toys at Bassline in Chicago, to benefit local children and families in Chicago, in addition to a number of nonprofit organizations.
Twista’s 1st annual event helped raise nearly $5,000 in donations as well.

DJ Khaled Injured After Crashing Jetski Near Diddy’s House
(AllHipHop News) DJ Khaled escaped from serious injuries after he crashed his jet ski again.
DJ Khaled hit up social media, to show his scraped up leg, which he wounded after crashing into a tree near Diddy’s house according to reports.
In December of 2015, the producer also had a harrowing incident on his jet ski, when he got lost in the dark on his way home from Rick Ross’s Miami mansion.

Cam’Ron’s Dissing Kanye Now
(AllHipHop Rumors) Why is Cam’ron going at Kanye West, particularly after Ma$e maced him. Anyway, needless to say, Cam is dope as an artist, but it feels like his fishing for press or attention.
