Xzibit Has Some Words For Chance The Rapper Over Aftermath Diss

(AllHipHop Rumors) Xzibit is NOT here for Dr. Dre critics!

Xzibit had some harsh words of advice for Dr. Dre’s haters while checking out the premiere of the four-part HBO documentary “The Defiant Ones.” The documentary explores the lives of Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre.

Xzibit was none-too-pleased with Chance The Rapper’s recent dig at Dre as Chance mocked a number of record labels including Dre’s Aftermath. Chance flashed various graphics on the screen to accompany his digs, and when it came to Dre’s label, the screen displayed a graphic that called the label “Can’t Do Math Entertainment”.

Chance has since apologized to Dr. Dre, but Xzibit still had some words of him. Xzibit told Variety,

“These people dissing Dr. Dre, they need to get off their cell phones for about a week and come back to reality. They have no idea. Do what he did and then talk to me.”

Does Xzibit have a point?

Vince Staples Performs With Damon Albarn, Kilo Kish, The Roots & Ray J On ‘The Tonight Show’ (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Long Beach, California rapper Vince Staples spent years confessing his appreciation for singer/reality TV star Ray J.

Vince declared on Hot 97, “Ray J is probably top 5 Hip Hop West Coast of all time.”

The Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood cast member returned the love during a 2016 interview with AllHipHop.com.

“He was keeping it real though. I appreciate that. I don’t like to boast about what I do, but he knows what’s going on,” said Ray. “A lot of people on the West Coast know, because they know my real life and the real business side of it. Last night, Staples got his chance to share a stage with Ray J on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The Big Fish Theory album creator also teamed up with Tonight Show house band The Roots as well as Damon Albarn and Kilo Kish for the performance of “Love Can Be…”

Nicki Minaj Performs A Medley Of Songs Containing Remy Ma Disses At 2017 NBA Awards

(AllHipHop News) One day after not winning the BET Award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist for the first time in seven years, Nicki Minaj showed up at the 2017 NBA Awards.

Minaj ran through a series of songs that contain lyrics directed at her rival Remy Ma, the rapper who won the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist trophy this year.

The 6-minute performance included Nicki’s verses from 2 Chainz’s “Realize,” her own “No Frauds,” and Katy Perry’s “Swish Swish.”

This is the second time in two months Nicki used an award show stage to diss Remy.

In May, she opened the 2017 Billboard Music Awards with “No Frauds.”

Remy Ma has continued her verbal attack on the Young Money representative as well.

The “Shether” spitter delivered a subliminal message for Nicki during her BET Awards acceptance speech on Sunday night.

“Y’all b-tches got fat while we starved. Shots in your ass, pads in your bras. Y’all some liars. It ain’t no facts in your songs. And yeah, that crown is coming back to The Bronx,” said Rem.

Kodak Black Deletes Instagram Account Following His Comments About Dark Skin Women

(AllHipHop News) Kodak Black has gone dark on Instagram.

The “Tunnel Vision” rapper removed his IG account after receiving criticism for his statements about dark skin women.

Kodak first spoke about his “preference” for light skin women during a live social media broadcast.

After catching backlash in his comment section, the 20-year-old Florida native went to Instagram to address his critics.

“One thing about me, dog, you ain’t just gonna be dissing me. You ain’t gonna be dissing me under my comments or none of that sh-t. Cause b-tch, I’m gonna clap back,” said Kodak. “Hoes, n-ggas, whatever. I’m gonna knock your whole melon off. Don’t even comment on my sh-t with that f-ck sh-t.”

He added, “You talking about black women. B-tch, f-ck ya! I only like redbones. I love black African-Americans. But I don’t like black b-tches. I like yellow hoes.”

That response just sparked more negative reactions which apparently led to Kodak deleting his entire Instagram page.

Karen Civil Addresses Meek Mill Accusing Nicki Minaj Of Paying Blogs To Publish Negative Stories (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Back in March, Meek Mill put the blame for some of his negative press on digital media marketing specialist Karen Civil.

Meek accused Civil, and blogs like Baller Alert, of being paid by his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj to write unfavorable stories about him.

The Dreamchasers head posted on Instagram:

Y’all be hating with y’all corny ass captions… This a club and I’m not performing. I’m just letting the 2300 people that came to club hear me…y’all bum ass internet hoes being paid by Nicki lol to try to Discredit my name [Karen Civil] [Baller Alert] my sister tryna catch up with y’all cornball ass b-tches … this my last time speaking on y’all miserable ass clowns lol by the way Karen I got the tapes of ya corny ass saying nicki paying y’all for this geek s### …. after all I did for ya nut ass y’all sold y’all souls for a few bands … why y’all don’t post about that man molesting that lil girl? Oh I forgot y’all on payroll … and robin im in the a u gone learn about playing wit my plate! I dare one of y’all to say something Ima expose this wack ass blog platform.

Karen Civil was asked about Meek’s claims during an interview with The Breakfast Club.

According to Civil, she and Meek once had a good relationship, and the Young Money affiliate was surprised Meek did not call her directly about the blog accusations.

“You don’t react and say these things on social media. And you’re reacting off – it was like a paid post or something. It had nothing to do with me,” said Civil.

She later added, “At the end of the day, it’s a business. Websites, blogs, Instagram – all these things are businesses. I’m not going to stop Meek from doing anything or be a part of trying to harm him. Anything people have been posting about him, it’s things that he posted on his own page.”

Civil also expressed she did not feel the need to pick a side after Meek and Nicki broke up.

However, she did admit having a long-standing relationship with YM’s Lil Wayne and Mack Maine, the heads of Nicki’s label.

While not going into detail, Civil talked about having some business ties to Minaj as well.

“We’re working on things – I don’t even want to fully discuss – that’s bigger than social media,” offered Civil. “She reached out to me, and I appreciate that. Young Money family has always been incredible to me.”

Kenny Smith Clowns Drake Over “Ghostwriting” During NBA Awards (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) It doesn’t seem like those “ghostwriting” rumors connected to Drake will ever go away.

Last night, the OVO leader served as the host for the 2017 NBA Awards, and of course, he presented jokes for the audience.

However, it was a response from Inside The NBA panelist Kenny Smith that took aim at Drizzy.

“That was great material by Drake. But we had a question. Did he write it?” quipped Smith. “He can’t get on our NBA guys like that and we can’t come back.”

Drake had his chance to clapback at Smith.

“Kenny, somebody just told me about your writing joke backstage. Wise words from the most expendable member of the TNT crew,” said the Toronto native.

It’s been two years since Meek Mill claimed Drake did not write his own lyrics and reference tracks associated with the “Know Yourself” rhymer hit the internet.

The ghostwriting accusations sparked the highly publicized feud between the “R.I.C.O.” collaborators.

The “Ooouuu” hitmaker was also asked about comparisons to Hip Hop legend Queen Latifah.

She responded, “People say stuff like that. I never really thought of it like that. I be on my movement.”

Young M.A. joined Queen Latifah on stage for Remy Ma’s much talked about set at Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2017.

Jamie Foxx Says His Last Movie “Sucked”

(AllHipHop News) Jamie Foxx is happy to have a movie hit on his hands again after he confided to the audience at the Bet Awards on Sunday (25Jun17) that his last film “sucked.”

The “Ray” actor, who will next be seen in movie “Baby Driver” alongside Ansel Elgort, introduced a clip from the action comedy at the star-studded music event held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and the excited star gushed about how good it is before slamming his last movie as “bad.”

While he didn’t refer to the movie by name, Foxx was last seen in 2017 flick “Sleepless” in which he played undercover Las Vegas police officer Vincent Downs in a race against time to catch the criminals behind the kidnapping of his teenage son (Octavius J. Johnson).

Prior to that was 2014’s “Annie” reboot.

“I can’t wait to tell you about that joint ‘Baby Driver!’ It’s crazy, it’s cool, and it ain’t a typical film. It brings a thrill ride, so everybody can experience it,” the 49-year-old smiled to the audience. “And it’s good too! It ain’t like that last joint I had.”

The audience seemed surprised by Fox’s off the cuff candour, but he just laughed and continued, adding: “I know, it’s tough. It’s tough when you still gotta promote it.

“You know it’s bad when they don’t ask you nothing about the movie like, ‘Man that jacket you was wearing is tight,'” he continued. “Yeah, I know it sucked.”

Critic James White of film bible Empire Magazine wrote of the movie at the time: “Less sleepless, more insomnia cure. For all its attempts at action, it’s a rote, dull crime thriller with little fresh to offer.”

Foxx is clearly determined not to have another flop on his hands, and the Oscar winner urged fans to go see “Baby Driver” when the action flick is released on June 28.

While on the silver carpet at the awards he heaped more praise on the movie, telling Entertainment Tonight it has a 100 percent score on movie review site Rotten Tomatoes.

“Everywhere we premiere it has been gangbusters,” he told ET. “It’s good to have a good one. You know, it’s hard when you’re out there promoting and you know it stinks. I’ve had a couple of them where I just know it stinks.”

The Game Weighs In On Meek Mill & Safaree, Says He Could Easily Beat Meek

(AllHipHop Rumors) Mannnnnnnn BET Awards weekend surely was ACTIVE!

Between fights, arguments, and altercations, the music has been competing for headlines. LOL.

Apparently Meek Mill’s crew jumped Safaree outside of Angel Brinks and DJ Khaled’s fashion show.

Meek wasn’t seen fighting or even involving himself anymore than just looking on, but folks still believe that this is another “L” for Meek and his boys.

Public opinion has sided with Safaree, and people believe it’s wack for a group of individuals to jump one man.

You know it wouldn’t be long before The Game gave his two cents! The Game says that he would like to see a fair one-on-one fight between Meek and Safaree, and he also went on to say that he can easily whoop Meek’s azz himself!

“Whoopin his ass “finna be a breeze,” said Game.

Y’all know Meek could never beat The Game. The Way Meek hopped out of the car, and the way his crew just went straight for Safaree, makes me wonder did they run into him by coincidence, or had people been texting Meek telling him to pull up because Safaree was there.

You can’t jump a man…. man! We couldn’t get Chris Brown and Soulja Boy, so maybe we can get a Meek & Game charitable fight. Carry on.

Dizzee Rascal’s P##### Over British Rappers’ Snubs At Glastonbury

(AllHipHop News) Dizzee Rascal is angry British rappers like himself have never headlined the Pyramid stage at the Glastonbury music festival.

The grime superstar, 32, performed in a headline slot on Friday at the famous music event in Somerset, England but was relegated to the smaller West Holts stage, rather than performing at Glastonbury’s most famous venue.

He says he’s frustrated that unlike major U.S. acts like Jay Z and Kanye West, British hip-hop stars have never been given the chance to take a coveted night-time slot on the Pyramid stage.

“I’ve toured this festival for years, never disappointed,” he told the BBC. “You can always count on me. I’m basically at the stage where they need to make me headline this thing – because they ain’t had no British rappers headline this festival.”

Although Dizzee has performed on the Pyramid stage several times, notably playing acclaimed sets in 2009 and 2010, he performed in front of the smaller afternoon crowds.

“I’ve been on the main stage, but I need to headline the whole ting (thing),” he explained “I’ve got 15 years of bangers. I’m confident I would tear it up.”

Despite his disappointment at missing out on a prestigious Pyramid stage headlining slot, the “Bonkers” rapper added, “It’s the biggest festival you could do. It’s a privilege.”

Festival organizers gave one major headlining slot to a British hip-hop act, as grime collective Boy Better Know closed the festival on the Other stage, Glastonbury’s second largest, on Sunday (June 25)

MC Lyte Is Worried About Kanye West

(AllHipHop Rumors) MC Lyte is all of us!

Sometimes you have to show folks you care, and you have to reach out and check on people more than just when you need them.

MC Lyte, like many, appears to be concerned with Kanye West’s well being.

“My dear brother you are on my mind. Where are you? How are you? Will we hear you again? How you feel…will we ever hear how you feel? We miss you. Can’t wait to hear that next thing. Those words. That slay. So slick. Sing your song my brother, Jesus Walks…He does, your are, because he was. He is, he lives, ask & believe, he’ll manifest the gift—-NEW LIFE —We miss you Kanye…,” posted Lyte.

Sometimes you just have to send light, love, and encouragement to others. I hope Kanye is doing well and possibly getting ready to produce new music. I think we are all a little worried about Ye. What artists would you like to see Kanye produce a beat for?

Kodak Black Is Under Fire For “Light Skin” Preference

(AllHipHop Rumors) Another day, another Kodak stunt!

Hell hath no fury like a black woman scorned! LOL.

Florida rapper Kodak Black has upset black women by admitting that he preferred light skin black women over dark skin ones.

Black took to Instagram to express and defend his comments, and let’s just say social media let his azz HAVE IT!

“I Love Black African American Women Its Just Not My Forte To Deal With A “DARKSKIN” Woman I Prefer Them To Have A Lighter Complexion Than Me #MyPreference #F-ckYou,” said Kodak

Apparently it all started when Kodak Black said he wouldn’t date a “Keke Palmer“, but he would actually date women that aren’t even black like Kylie Jenner, Taylor Swift, and Cardi B. So it seems like not only does Kodak not like dark skin black women, but he may not prefer black women at all.

I mean you like what you like, but it’s a bit controversial when you start putting down another group. Maybe he should’ve just kept his mouth closed.

Is it okay to have preference, or does it sound like Kodak has been brainwashed into thinking that light women are more beautiful?

Well, people wasted no time reminding Kodak that he is dark, and telling him he is unattractive. #Irony.

Are Amber Rose & 21 Savage An Item?

(AllHipHop Rumors) It’s kind of disturbing to see these rappers swap out the same girls, but okay.

Apparently folks think Amber Rose and 21 Savage are dating after seeing the two leave a club together. You know what it “means” when you see one of these social media famous, or reality star girls leaving a club with a rapper……It makes people assume that they are hooking up.

TMZ caught Rose and Savage creeping out after leaving a show in Los Angeles.

21 Savage told the cameras that he wasn’t feeling the attention as the two tried to leave.

21 & Amber attempted to get in 21’s red Ferrari, but not before the camera man tried to ask Amber about her celibacy pledge.

What’s funny is, when folks are spotted together, no one even gives them the benefit of doubt that they could literally just be friends.

Apparently Amber’s bush reeled in 21 also. We shall see where this goes.
