Is Tyga Trying To Get Kylie Jenner To Leave Travis Scott?

(AllHipHop Rumors) I hate to say it, but it seems like things are getting pretty dim for Tyga since his split with Kylie Jenner.

After all, for the past few years, his relationship with the younger Jenner/Kardashian sister has seemingly overshadowed his rap career.

Word on the curb is that Tyga wants that old thing back with Kylie Jenner, and he’s trying to steal her back from Travis Scott!

According to OK Magazine, Tyga has been drunk dialing Kylie begging for another chance. Hey, I think we’ve all had that one ex that we just can’t seem to shake!

“Kylie can’t stand it. She kind of felt sorry for him earlier on, but not since he’s been partying like a madman. She’s threatened to block his number and change hers but she can’t because he still owes her a lot money.

She wakes up to a string of drunken messages, some angry, some begging her to take him back. He’s totally heart-broken and it comes out when he’s had too much to drink,” said an insider!

I could totally see Tyga doing this! Was Travis Scott a huge upgrade for Kylie?

(AllHipHop News) Reggae legend Bob Marley’s son Damian has become a part-owner of the world’s leading marijuana magazine High Times.

Damian Marley is one of 20 new investors in the ownership group that bought a controlling interest in the media company behind the popular pot publication, according to TMZ.

Damian has been a fan of the magazine for years and admits its articles helped him as he produced his own line of weed as a co-founder of Stony Hill.

Wack 100 & Gonzoe Send More Threats At Each Other On Social Media

(AllHipHop Rumors) Mannnnnnnnnn!

So Wack 100 went from calling a truce with Naughty By Nature’s Treach, back to loud-mouthing and beefing with folks on the ‘gram!

Kausion’s Gonzoe already let Wack know that he was looking for him to deliver the fade over Wack’s Tupac disrespect. It looks like Gonzoe’s previous and new threats made there way over to Wack, and he decided to return some of his own!

“A n-gga go from riding around looking for Treach, saying Piru in every f-cking sentence, to making memes and sh-t being a comedian. I get it. Check this out: You don’t run L.A., n-gga … You just a loud mouth, groupie a-s n-gga that hung around some n-ggas that couldn’t check it. You’s a f-ggot. I don’t have n-ggas hanging around me like that, ’cause I ain’t scared of nothing. I don’t need no f-cking bodyguard … I carry a pistol, and I’ve been carrying a pistol since 14,” said Gonzoe.

Wack certainly responded with his plans to smack Gonzoe when he sees him.

“Shut up, n-gga. I’m from the Valley, n-gga. Don’t no one n-gga run L.A. Don’t no one n-gga run Cali … Lil’ boy, you know who the f-ck I am. [You’re] a little kid…You’re just a military brat..I’m gonna slap the sh-t out of you when I see you, I’m going to open palm smack the sh-t out of you, and after that you can do whatever you wanna do,” said Wack.

From the way Gonzoe has been talking, I don’t think any truces will be called this time around! Is it just me, or is Wack asking to be wacked off!?!?!

Iggy Azalea Says “Strong Meds” Caused Her To Freak Out On Her Record Label

(AllHipHop News) Iggy Azalea blamed “pretty strong meds” after hitting headlines following a four-minute rant on Snapchat slamming her record label for delaying the release of her new album.

The 26-year-old Australian rapper was due to drop her new record Digital Distortion early this month, but took to her Snapchat on Thursday night to explain to her fans that her label Def Jam had opted to push back the release.

“Just wanted to tell you a little story about my album pre-order, because I have no idea when it’s coming out,” Iggy said in the video, in which she used a filter which distorted her voice and face. “At first, everyone at my label was like ‘June 2nd, June 2nd! So I told everybody that. But then they’re like, ‘No, we changed our mind’. I was like, ‘OK, what’s my album date going to be?’ ‘June 30th, June 30th.’ So I did a bunch of interviews on TV, and it seemed like all the reporters knew the date June 30th. I was thinking, yay! They finally got their s**t together! They’re telling everyone a real date that we can look forward to!

“But then I went on Jimmy Fallon and I noticed him saying ‘Digital Distortion, later this month.’ What does that mean? That can’t be good. They’ve backed away from saying a real date.”

Iggy then explained that she emailed her record company to ask why the release date was now so vague, with the response she received “bulls##t”.

Apparently, they claimed they “hadn’t done the paperwork” so the June 30 release wasn’t going to happen.

At that point, Iggy sent another more aggressive email, adding in her Snapchat rant: “I guess everybody at that record label just decided to ignore what I had to say, so who knows when my album’s coming out. It has been Memorial Day weekend, so they’ll probably be partying pretty hard for middle-aged white guys… I know you guys are sick of it; trust me, I’m super sick of it. I’m really over it at this point. I’ve really been trying to be sweet and super-professional the last couple of months, but … I’m at my wit’s end.”

At one point, Iggy even told her fans she was considering giving them the address of her record company’s head office, so they could all picket the building.

While Iggy was Snapchatting, six or so songs from Digital Distortion found their way online, with fans wondering if the singer herself was responsible for the leak.

Following the initial Snapchat rant, Iggy then deleted those videos, before posting a new video in which she explained that the “pretty strong meds” she has been on following “oral surgery” were responsible for her outspoken rant.

Amber Rose Talks Man Breaking Into Her House, Twitter Hack, Tyga & Plastic Surgery

(AllHipHop News) Amber Rose was a recent guest on The Domenick Nati Show, and the model/host covered quite a few subjects during the conversation.

She spoke about a man breaking into her home earlier this month.

“[The police] said they could possibly know who it is. They didn’t send me the picture or video yet, so I personally didn’t see anything yet,” said Rose. “Emotionally, yeah it was extremely tough. I’m a lot more paranoid.”

Amber added that she has armed guards and an alarm system, so she is not as worried about being in the residence.

Not long after the house intrusion, Rose’s Twitter account posted tweets bashing Beyoncé and Tyga.

“My account was hacked,” confirmed the How to Be a Bad B-tch author.

Amber was then asked if she considers Tyga to be a friend and if she would ever go out with the rapper.

“I would not date him because he’s my best friend’s son’s father. So I would never date Tyga,” Rose responded, referring to Blac Chyna. “I really do actually like Tyga. He’s always been nice to me. I don’t have any ill feelings towards him at all.”

Later in the interview, Amber was asked if she has ever undergone cosmetic surgery.

The SlutWalk organizer said, “I have not had any plastic surgery. I’ve had Botox in my forehead but that’s about it.”

Lil Yachty Signs Deal With Universal Music Publishing Group

(AllHipHop News) During his viral conversation with Joe Budden and DJ Akademiks for Everyday Struggle, Lil Yachty declared he was the best at business among his generation of rappers.

HitsDailyDouble reports the 19-year-old Quality Control artist has now signed a new deal with Universal Music Publishing Group.

“Lil Yachty has proven to be a standout recording artist and songwriter, with a talent for delivering songs with catchy hooks,” stated UMPG Chairmen and CEO Jody Gerson. “He’s brave and unapologetic about his artistry. We’re happy to be working with Coach K and Pee on another great artist from the Quality Control family.”

Late last year, questions about Yachty’s publishing rights became a topic in the media following the Atlanta native admitting to The Fader he was unaware of who was responsible for collecting payments generated from his musical work.

“I don’t think I signed my publishing,” said Yachty. “I don’t know who my publishing is signed to. I really don’t.”

The “Minnesota” performer also raised concerns after stating during his Everyday Struggle interview that he did not know whether he was signed to a 360 record deal.

“I don’t know,” answered Lil Yachty when asked if his label gets a portion of any revenue made outside of music. “I know I have an amazing deal. I have an amazing attorney.”

The Teenage Emotions album creator later took to Twitter to claim he knows what type of deal he is signed to and he was just unfamiliar with the term “360 deal.”

Yachty also tweeted at the time that he owns all of his publishing.

Well Damn. Is Desiigner Banned From Brooklyn?

(AllHipHop Rumors) I don’t know how you ban a person from a whole city, but Hip-Hop does it all the time. But Desiigner is from BK and he’s probably missing his mother. But he cannot see his mom now because he has allegedly been banned from Brooklyn!?! How?

It seems like his old OG is putting the word out. Apparently this dude is the same guy that got the “Panda” beat for the young goofy rapper. I know Desiigner is doing his thing all over the place so not being able to safely come back to BK might not be so hard unless he’s trying to see his mama!

Chance The Rapper Talks LeBron James, Stevie Wonder & His “3” Hats On ‘The View’ (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Chance The Rapper stopped by The View yesterday to discuss several topics.

The Grammy winner referred to Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James as the greatest basketball player of all time.

He was also asked about the reports James’ home was tagged with a racial slur.

“People want to remind you how they view you as a second-class citizen,” said the “No Problems” performer. “It’s not much you can do other than keep thriving like LeBron.”

Besides paying homage to James, Chance also stated he wanted the audience to know Stevie Wonder is the greatest living music artist.

Co-host Sunny Hostin later asked the Social Experiment member about his hats featuring the number three.

“The 3 hats have three different meanings,” explained Chance. “One, it’s for my third mixtape Coloring Book… my three prong family – me, my daughter, and her mother. And for the Holy Trinity – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”

Did Conor McGregor Sign On To Fight Floyd Mayweather Jr.?

Image result for floyd mayweather gif(AllHipHop Rumors) It appears that a mega fight is in the making as the UFC’s Conor McGregor has reportedly signed on to fight Floyd Mayweather, Jr. The fight has been splattered across the media as the trash talk has been rampant, but nobody has signed a contract. According to TheMacLife.com, that has changed. “It is an honor to sign this record-breaking deal alongside my partners Zuffa LLC, The Ultimate Fighting Championship, and Paradigm Sports Management.” McGregor said in a statement. “The first, and most important part of this historic contract has now officially been signed off on.” McGregor said the ball is now in Mayweather’s court.“Congratulations to all parties involved. We now await Al Haymon and his boxer’s signature in the coming days,” the statement concluded.

I am wondering why there has been no movement on this, even though outlets like ESPN have reported on it! Did it really get signed or what?

Drake Gets Called Out For Being A Culture Vulture!

(AllHipHop Rumors) Damn son! Drake stay getting some drama! This some though, I don’t think it matters very much. Nevertheless Sean Paul is very well respected. He has spoken up and he is claiming that Drake is a culture vulture of Reggae and Caribbean music! Drake’s last album just got a bunch of awards and Sean Paul is letting his feelings know. In an interview with Metro UK, he tore into Drizzle!

“I think at the time when it was popping off, it would have been good for him to actually put accolades towards the whole culture. [Drake is] friendly with a few people in the business in Jamaica and that’s good, I love it,” he stated. “But if he had given more accolades when he was actually making it and said ‘this is the music I love,’ it would have been cool.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

“Ed Sheeran has done one song that is huge and it’s dancehall reminiscent, but that is one song, [Drake] had an album full of dancehall, so I think he should have paid a bit of an accolade and told people in the press ‘that is where I’m coming from, I have a love for that music.”

Now, that wasn’t too bad. Just take the medicine.

Lonzo Ball Part 2: Bet On Yourself!

(AllHipHop Editorial) As we prepare ourselves to watch the 2017 NBA Finals, we will get adorned in either our LeBron or Steph Curry jersey, with the sneakers to match, Nike or Under Armour, respectively.  More than likely, we’ll be eating wings and pizza, drinking a few beers while cheering or crying aloud at our mounted television screen as if our favorite players can hear our voices.  I’m certain that we’ll be entertained.  Hell, some of us may even win a couple of dollars from our wagers on the games.  But ultimately, I ask, who will be the biggest winners?  To your dismay, if you said “the players who win the championship” I would have to strongly disagree with you.  Ultimately, the biggest winners are the owners.  Granted, the players who earn large sums of money for partaking in a professional sport that many have dreamed and aspired to do since childhood, should relish the opportunity to play on the biggest stage.  So by no means am I calling them “losers,” but certainly, from a business perspective, they are not the biggest winners.

Who are the biggest winners you ask?  Well I’ll surmise that it’s the network owners who have the rights to air the game on their station, while profiting by selling advertisement space.  The owners of the teams and arenas who are selling tickets, merchandise, food and drinks.  And lastly, the owners of the sports apparel companies whose attire is being worn, marketed and sold by the players themselves.

In the first part of my editorial entitled, This Is About More Than Shoes,” you’ll recall that I said that the attempt to attack and demonize LaVar Ball’s character was of greater magnitude than imaginable.  They weren’t just trying to tear him down as a black dad, they were also trying to kill his efforts of creating, selling and profiting from his own brand.  Prompting me to pose the question, “who should profit more from your brand than you?”

By now, we all know that LaVar Ball created his own Big Baller Brand which he wanted to partner with one of the big three sports apparel companies (Nike, Adidas, Under Armour) to sell his own merchandise.   Rather than to potentially have his son, Lonzo Ball, a prospected top 3 2017 NBA Lottery Pick, just sign an endorsement deal.  Many folks said, “Why would you try to sell your own shoes and apparel instead of being paid to endorse an established brand?   That’s stupid!”  Another comment I heard was, “Who would pay an unproven talent a billion dollars to be associated with their brand?  That’s stupid!”  Leading me to conclude, I don’t think people truly understand the disparity between the amount of revenue generated in the sports apparel business and the amount of endorsement dollars paid to the individuals hawking their products.

And it’s apparent that we don’t differentiate the importance of being an employer versus being an employee.
In 2016 the sports apparel industry generated $158 billion dollars.  In 2017 it’s estimated that the industry will amass a total of $165 billion dollars.  The same industry is projected to earn $171 billion dollars in the year 2018.  And by 2020, Allied Market Research projects that the world sports apparel industry will garner $184.6 billion dollars.  Key companies benefiting greatly from the worldwide consumption of sports apparel are Adidas AG, Nike Inc., and Under Armour. It’s been reported that last year Nike Inc. earned $32.4 billion dollars in revenue, Adidas amassed $19.291 billion, and Under Armour pocketed $4.8 billion.

The present day two biggest individual “earners” for Nike, not named Cristiano Ronaldo, are Michael Jordan and LeBron James.  For fiscal year 2016, the Jordan Brand brought in a whopping $2.8 billion in revenue and LeBron James products generated roughly $350 million.  It’s been reported that last year Michael Jordan Nike endorsement deal paid him $66 million dollars and LeBron James was paid $20 million dollars.  Now of course, $66 million and $20 million aren’t small numbers to scoff at.  But relatively speaking, in proportion to the amount of money that their individual brands generated for Nike Inc. alone, LeBron made about 6% and Jordan was given less than 3% of the total amount of revenue attributed to them.  What’s the point?  Here’s my point.

Phil Knight, the founder of Nike is a billionaire 25 times.  Kevin Plank, the founder of Under Armour is worth about $2 billion dollars and counting.  Adidas is no longer owned by Adi Dassler’s family, but his creation built generational wealth and a legacy to which his family is still benefiting from.  When will we begin to see the bigger picture?  Instead of focusing on how to just “secure a bag,” let’s create, build and maintain ownership of a product that will allow us, our families and community to best capitalize off of our own gifts for many years to come.  Can you imagine how much more money LeBron James could possibly generate for himself, his family and his community if he decided to do what LaVar Ball is doing with Big Baller Brand?  Do you know that Michael Jordan doesn’t own any of the Jordan Brand patents and designs that he has made so popular worldwide?  Can you imagine if Michael Jordan owned his own brand and decided to do what LaVar Ball is being laughed at and ridiculed for attempting to accomplish?  It’s a must that we began to truly understand the significance of ownership.

The ideal objective is to build and sustain wealth for your family through ownership.  You want to place yourself in the best position possible to pass along to the next generation all that was given to you, in addition to everything that you were able to accumulate on your own.  In order to have something of great substance to give, you have to be willing to take calculated risk.  Also like LaVar Ball, you have to be able to turn down paychecks from an individual who is willing just to employ you, rather than partner with you, because you understand your true value.  I’ve said it before and I will continuously say it, his efforts should be commended and people should be inspired to do exactly what he’s doing.

And that is:  Bet On Yourself!

Nelly Lands Country Singer Chris Lane As His Wingman On Tour

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Nelly is planning to have a little fun on the road this summer by recruiting country singer Chris Lane as his wingman on tour.

The two artists are joining forces with Florida Georgia Line and the Backstreet Boys for the Smooth Tour, and Nelly already knows it’ll be a blast hanging out together in between shows.

“We’re backstage doing it all – barbecuing, a little bit of other stuff I’m not going to say,” he teased to People.com.

“It’s a fun vibe, and the thing I love about FGL is their appreciation for all kinds of music. They’re country artists but they’re real fans of music, period, across the board. They know their hip-hop. They know their R&B. They know their pop.”

Chris will be “the baby” of the group on the trek, and Nelly hopes to make the most of the 32-year-old’s youthful looks by using their friendship to draw attention from female fans.

“I’m going to be hanging out with him because he’s going to get all the girls,” the Hot In Herre hitmaker laughs. “He’s got the hair going, he’s the young kid – I can already see where this is going.”

Nelly will get to try his luck on Friday (02Jun17), when the stars kick off the tour in Austin, Texas.

Epic Fail! Florida Rapper Jumped While Attempting To Crowd Surf At XXXTentacion Show

(AllHipHop Rumors) Everyone can’t be Lil Uzi Vert!

Rapper Wifisfuneral had to learn the hard way that this crowd surfing thang isn’t for everyone.

It was the opening night of the Revenge Tour that features XXXTentacion, Wifisfuneral, and Ski Mask The Slump God, that took a turn for the worst.

Houston was out of control. Wifisfuneral decided to flip off the stage into the crowd while XXXTentacion was performing “Suicide Pit”.

Unfortunately the “fans” didn’t catch him. They instead began to jump him. Videos have surfaced showing Wifisfuneral being kicked and punched a dozen times by angry concertgoers.

It even looked like he was beaten unconscious at one point.

Wifis was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries. You know it wasn’t long before he hit social media to let folks know that he is okay and still getting b-tches.

According to Wifis the whole incident was a set up! Well d-mn! Why did they have to do him like that?

How AllHipHop Co-Founder Chuck Creekmur Turned A Jail Scare Into Success – TedxTalk

(AllHipHop Features) Co-Founder of AllHipHop.com and CEO, Chuck Creekmur, was recently highlighted as a featured speaker at TedxDOVER on an inspiring topic of, “Why Planning Is Overrated?”.

Chuck Creekmur, one of the founders of AllHipHop.com, explains his numerous trials and tribulations and how a jail scare cause him to realize “Planning Is Overrated” in the journey of life.

Planning tends to be seen as a crucial attribute of success, but in many cases, can become a detriment and ineffective. Jigsaw outlines his situation and rise, as well as how just about nothing went according to the plan. Mentions include Jay Z, The A-Team, Mike Tyson, The Geto Boys, Smashing Pumpkins as well as the actual science to why over planning sucks.

Many people find themselves in transitory space where they struggle with where they are in life and where they want to be. Contrary to the hyperactivity of social media with influx of messages of perfect life planning, this discussion displays the importance of action behind great ambition. Chuck provides an introspective testimony on how when life “happens,” that the safest bet to have is on one’s self. This talk stresses the belief in one’s talent rather than over planning and doubting one’s own ability.

“It was great to be the closing speaker at the Delaware State University TedxDOVER Talk. I wanted to bring a dose of humor and reality to the audience and also share parts of myself that I have never publicly talked about. Most people believe that the work that I have done has sprung solely out of vision, entrepreneurship and careful planning when the drivers really were desperation, circumstance and pure passion. I thank the good folks at TedxDOVER and TED for asking me to take part of the historic occasion.”

Is Wack 100 Being Paid For His Tupac Slander?

(AllHipHop Rumors) Everyone has been wondering why Wack 100 has made so many disrespectful comments about the late rap legend Tupac, and we may know why now.

Rumor has it that Wack 100 may be getting paid for his foolery. Folks have been wondering has Wack 100 been getting paid by people affiliated with the Tupac biopic, ‘All Eyez On Me’ to create hype for the film.

I mean think about it, controversy associated with Tupac and his legacy could actually make people more eager to run out and see the film. Wack’s OG, G Principle, says that if Pac was still here, Wack would get hit in his mouth, and he says that he definitely believes that there’s something going on behind the scenes with Wack’s behavior. Apparently there may be some kind of agenda going on somewhere.

G Principle says he believes there may be a higher power working behind the scenes causing Wack to act this way. He even goes as far as saying that Wack 100 isn’t really who he claims he is, and he believes Wack 100 is working with the police, especially with how reckless Wack is being all over social media with the threats!

What are your thoughts? Do you think Wack is on someone’s payroll?
