(AllHipHop News) Kodak Black’s most recent interview with The Breakfast Club aired today, and the radio show sit down was filled with several awkward moments.
The Q&A began with Charlamagne Tha God asking a masked Kodak about his decision to challenge Lil Wayne to a fight for the “Best Rapper Alive” title.
Kodak ignored CTG’s question and then told Angela Yee, “I don’t even want to talk about him. He’s too old… That’s what I said. Y’all ain’t finna have me tweeting right now.”
Later in the conversation, Charlamagne brought up Wayne again.
“Were you upset when Lil Wayne said he didn’t know who you were?” asked the host.
“Yeah that. N-gga, you know who I am. Nicki Minaj knows who I am,” said the South Florida rapper.
Yee attempted to defend Wayne by suggesting the Young Money head “lives in a bubble” and may not be aware of what’s happening outside his own immediate world.
“He just don’t wanna say, ‘Yeah I know bruh,'” Kodak responded. “Cause he knows I’m pressure.”
In a 2016 interview, Lil Wayne did state he was not familiar with new artists Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, or Kodak Black.
“I swear to God I didn’t know you were saying people’s names just now, so that should probably answer that question. I just do my own thing,” said Wayne.
Kodak answered back with a tweet that read, “Lil Wayne ain’t the best f-cking rapper alive… I am.”
(AllHipHop News) For some reason, Meek Mill decided to throw himself in the middle of the recent talk about celebrity boxing.
The Dreamchasers leader called out his longtime rival Drake to put on the gloves, and Meek even suggested his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj could be the ring girl.
Surprisingly, Meek turned his attention back to Drake after the Toronto native announced he would no longer perform his Grammy-nominated diss track “Back To Back.”
While Drake and Nicki have yet to respond to the challenge, two other Meek Mill adversaries have offered to take on the “Litty” rhymer.
“I’ll beat dat ass for free & Nicki can be the get a ring girl,” wrote The Game on Instagram. “Everybody uncle face having ass.”
Fellow former Nicki beau Safaree posted, “Drake don’t got time but I do.”
Game and Meek went through a public feud last year which included the two rap stars discussing the idea of fighting each other.

(AllHipHop News) A local Wisconsin police department spent days answering phone calls from people hoping to speak with Lil Uzi Vert.
Apparently, an unknown prankster posted the Baraboo PD’s non-emergency phone number on several social media sites claiming it belongs to the Philadelphia-raised rapper.
“Our communications center has been inundated with phone calls asking for a specific rapper by the name of ‘Lil Uzi,’” said Baraboo Police Captain Robert Sinden.
The calls began on January 10, and the department received between 100 to 200 calls for Uzi per hour.
“I’ve never heard of that artist,” Sinden added. “But he must be somewhat popular.”
Baraboo PD was worried the high amount of calls would occupy the dispatch center, and they were forced to change the non-emergency phone number for after regular work hours to a recorded line.
As of Thursday, the phone Lil Uzi Vert calls had decreased, but some individuals continue to dial into the police.
(AllHipHop Rumors) Meek Mill has suddenly decided to ride the wave of Soulja Boy and Chris Brown (more infamously known as BHRIS BROWN.
Meek Mill said he would be willing to fight Drake live on PPV for a cool $5 Million. Now, he wasn’t talking that before he and Nickl broke up, but OK. Not mad at the prospect of these guys fighting.
Only thing is, Drake would never do it. Crazy thing is, Drake would probably win! However, we never know since Meek hails from Philly so he has a Broad Street shot at victory.
BUT, we all remember this:
What’s even funnier is that Meek said Nicki can be the ring girl. What are they going to fight for her honor?

How crazy is it that these guys were pretty cool at one point.

“As a transgender woman and advocate for the LGBTQ community, my genuine hope is that these artists can turn a bad situation into a positive one,” Care2 LGBTQ issues advocate Sarah Rose told Billboard of the petition which has gathered signatures from more than 5,600 supporters. “I’m a diehard music fan and a musician myself, and I strongly believe that music shouldn’t be used as a means to discriminate.”
When Coachella confirmed its 2017 lineup earlier this month, a number of controversial reports emerged, which tied Anschutz to anti-LGBTQ and climate change denial groups over the years.
The 77-year-old businessman, whose company also promoted 2016’s most lucrative festival, Desert Trip, denied the allegations, shooting down reports that he has worked against the LGBTQ community as “fake news” and “garbage.”
In a statement, Anschutz said that he was proud that his businesses employed people from diverse backgrounds and that he withdrew support for any anti-LGBTQ groups once he became aware of their discriminatory agendas.
Coachella will be held from April 14-16 and April 21-23 of this year.
(AllHipHop News) Brooklyn rapper Joey Badass is celebrating the success of his hit single “Devastated,” which has been certified gold.

Apple is making a stronger push into creating original, video content in order to compete with Spotify. The company, which purchased Dr. Dre’s Beats By Dre in $3 billion for May of 2015, is reportedly working with the super-producer on an untitled show. While details were scant, the Wall Street Journalconfirmed the unnamed show is in the works, as Apple snaps up the rights to other high-profile originals, like “Carpool Karoake.”

(AllHipHop Rumors) Lawd Charlie Sheen is so disrespectful. It must be the drugs!
Although Rihanna has been pretty positive and peaceful lately, she still at one time was the Queen of Petty and the Queen of Clap Backs. Let’s see if she responds to old crazy Sheen. I’m honestly just patiently waiting for her to do so!
Apparently Charlie Sheen still hasn’t gotten over Rihanna’s alleged dismissal from back in 2014. Sheen previously blasted the singer after claiming that she rejected to meet his girlfriend while they all dined at an LA restaurant.
Sheen, being reckless as usual, took to Twitter to chronicle the experience in a wild rant. Sheen certainly had time as he wrote.
“so, I took my gal out to dinner last night with her best friends for her Bday. we heard Rihanna was present as well. I sent a request over to her table to introduce my fiancé Scotty to her, as she is a huge fan. (personally I couldn’t pick her out of a line-up at gunpoint) well, the word we received back was that there were too many paps outside and it just wasn’t possible at this time. At this time? AT THIS TIME?? lemme guess, we’re to reschedule another random 11 million to 1 encounter with her some other night…? no biggie for me; it would have been 84 interminable seconds of chugging Draino and “please kill me now” that I’d never get back. My Gal, however, was NOT OK with it. Nice impression you left behind, Bday or not. Sorry we’re not KOOL enough to warrant a blessing from the Princess. (or in this case the Village idiot) you see THIS is the reason that I ALWAYS take the time. THIS is why I’m in this thing 31 awesome years. Good will and common courtesy, carefully established over time to exist radically in concert with a code of gratitude! See ya on the way down, (we always do) and actually, it was a pleasure NOT meeting you. clearly we have NOTHING in common when it comes to respect for those who’ve gone before you. I’m guessing you needed those precious 84 seconds to situate that bad wig before you left the restaurant.”
Sheen recently stopped by Bravo’s ‘Watch What Happens Live’ to chat with Andy Cohen, and let’s just say he hadn’t forgotten about the Rihanna encounter at all.
Andy, in typical Andy fashion, couldn’t wait to stir up some drama.
Cohen asked whether he and Rihanna ever managed to settle their differences.
“Oh, that b—h. No, no, no. No, she abandoned common courtesy and common sense,” replied Sheen.
Rihanna responded to the 2014 incident with a tweet that read,
“If that old queen don’t get ha diapers out of a bunch.”
Bad gal RiRi hasn’t responded yet, but I sure bet that when she does it’ll be good. I feel like Sheen overacted both times. What are your thoughts?
(AllHipHop News) Erykah Badu has been announced as an honoree at Essence’s Black Women in Music celebration.
The 45-year-old singer is to be recognized for her work at an invite-only gala hosted by the magazine on February 9th, in Los Angeles.
The event is to take place during Grammy Week, and will also honor those nominated at the Grammy Awards, taking place on February 12.
Essence’s gala will coincide with the 20th anniversary of Erykah’s debut album Baduizm, which took home a Grammy award for best R&B album thanks to its hits such as “On & On” and “Next Lifetime.”
“From the time that she first hit the scene with Baduizm, we all fell in love with the genius that is Erykah Badu,” Essence editor-in-chief Vanessa De Luca said in a press release.
Other stars previously recognized at Essence’s Black Women in Music gala include Mary J. Blige, Solange Knowles, Kelly Rowland, Jill Scott and Janelle Monae.
After news spread that Future fans were circulating a petition to have Future sing the National Anthem at the Atlanta Falcons Vs. the Seattle Seahawks game spread, we just learned that the Atlanta Falcon’s official DJ, DJ Jay Envy has confirmed that he will indeed be playing Future’s music during the team’s play off game this weekend.
This is petty indeed. They just won’t let the Seattle Seahawks’s quarterback a.k.a. Future’s ex-fiancee/baby mama, Ciara’s, new husband be great.
Since the idea of Future singing the anthem as well as its accompanying petition was shot down, Future’s allies had to sneak that music in somehow.
It’s all ridiculous to me. Future has no reason to be beefing with Russell, and their fan bases really have no business going at each other’s throats.
Although Atlanta-native and Falcons’ DJ Jay Envy says he’s playing Future’s music because he was raised in South Atlanta, we know why he really is . LOL.
Well Future Hive, there will be quite a bit of Future music played before and during the game this weekend. The funny thing is, I feel like Wilson doesn’t even care. Future might as well start working on all of them being a nicely blended family honestly.
Kodak Black certainly got people talking when he declared that he was the best rapper alive over Lil Wayne.
While many of us wondered what drug of choice was he on that week, a lot of others took it as serious disrespect.
Kodak may have been bothered by one of Lil Wayne’s interviews where Weezy said he didn’t know who he was along with a lot of these other trash rappers.
Well Tunechi was immediately backed by fellow former Hot Boys member Turk. Turk addressed Kodak’s claims by saying,
“I f-ck with Kodak Black, but come on man, y’all already know. Ain’t no n-gga f-cking with Wayne when it comes to this motherf-cking pen game…….[Wayne’s] going down as the greatest.”
Now Turk has called up Kodak Black to address the comments.
Turk let Kodak Black know that Wayne doesn’t have a problem with Kodak and that Wayne would probably f-ck with him if he actually got to meet him. Turk reiterated the point that Lil Wayne allegedly is in his own world and that he really doesn’t “be knowing” about a lot of things that are going on.
Okay well now I need to hear a public apology from Kodak because he was tripping.
(AllHipHop Rumors) Uh oh! It looks like Pusha T just may have to watch his back especially with Azealia Banks’ known witchcraft.
Apparently, the cover art for Pusha T’s song “What Y’all Wanted” is actually Azealia Banks’ cover for her single, “Yung Rapunxel”. Listen everyone in the world knows Banks is bat sh-t crazy, so Idk why Pusha did this. Maybe he wanted to rile up a little bit of controversy.
Well knowing her behavior, Azealia may try to drag Pusha T to hell and back.
Azelia Banks posted a video proving that her image was being used with the caption,
“Soooo ….. …. and yet “nobody knows who I am” . I need a baked potato this is tew much.”
She has since deleted the video. Since she recently revealed that she’s been sacrificing chickens in her closet for the last 3 years, we wonder how many will have to be sacrificed for this.
Maybe Azealia didn’t own the rights to the photo. Hmmmmmm. It’s interesting that he’d use her for his art though.
I’m not a fan of hers, but I do like this artwork. LOL. I just don’t understand why the girl won’t seek help, and focus on her music also.
Well, Kanye West is almost just as nutty as her, so we will see how all of this plays out. I wonder will Pusha and Ye respond.

(AllHipHop News) Ice Cube is getting ready to launch BIG3 Basketball with his business partner Jeff Kwatinetz.
Ex-NBA players Allen Iverson, Kenyon Martin, Rashard Lewis, Chauncey Billups, Jason Williams, Mike Bibby, and Bonzi Wells are among the names connected to the new 3-on-3 league.
Cube spoke about his new venture at a press conference in New York City.
“It sucks to see your favorite players retire. There’s nothing good about it, especially when you know they still got game,” said the Hip Hop legend. “My father always told me if you don’t think big, you will always be small. So, we came up with a big idea. It was to bring a style of basketball that I grew up playing, watching, and loving, which is 3-on-3 basketball.”
BIG3’s 10-week season is scheduled to begin on June 24, and a draft is set for March.
The league will be made up of eight teams with five players.
Perhaps the biggest get for BIG3 is ex-NBA MVP and Hall of Famer Allen Iverson.
“I’m just happy to be a part of it. I just hope little kids just get a chance to embrace it and love it for what it is,” stated Iverson at the presser. “This isn’t going to be the only time we do it. It’s gonna go on, and on, and on. It’s gonna be a part of our culture. I just love the fact that I can be a part of it.”
Ice Cube is also hoping to recruit other well-known basketball stars such as Vince Carter, Paul Pierce, Tracy McGrady, and Kobe Bryant.

(AllHipHop News) San Diego rapper Tiny Doo isn’t letting the city of San Diego off the hook so easily, after he was thrown in jail over his rap album in 2014.
Brandon “Tiny Doo” Duncan spent seven months in jail, while awaiting trial on conspiracy charges stemming from the release of his album No Safety.
Yesterday (January 11), Tiny Doo, 35, filed a lawsuit against the city of San Diego over his imprisonment.
Prosecutors claimed the rapper’s album No Safety promoted violence and criminal activity for the Lincoln Park, CA gang.
The gang was allegedly behind a string of violence and shootings in the area between May of 2013 and February 2014.
Tiny Doo was jailed and held on a $500,000 bond, which he could not meet and as a result spent seven months in jail, which “traumatized him” according to the lawsuit.
