EXCLUSIVE: DJ Premier’s Protégé Torii Wolf Explains New Single “1st” & Working With The Production Legend

(AllHipHop News) The musical career of DJ Premier includes creating sound beds for some of the most accomplished performers in Hip Hop history. While Premo is widely known for his work with Gang Starr, Nas, The Notorious B.I.G., Jay Z, and other rap stars, the legendary producer has also put his stamp on records by D’Angelo, Janet Jackson, and Brandy.

In addition, Premier’s catalog includes the East Coast representative teaming with the likes of Jeru the Damaja, Bumpy Knuckles, and Royce da 5’9″ to forge complete bodies of work. Surprisingly, Preem has yet to produce an entire project by a female vocalist. That omission is about to be corrected.

Singer-songwriter Torii Wolf is joining forces with Premier for the upcoming album Flow Riiot. The duo offered a hint about the direction of the collection with the new single “1st” which premiered last week. It has already collected over 24,000 plays on SoundCloud.

“‘1st’ came very naturally, just lots of raw emotion,” says Wolf. “I really let it go in the booth. Preem’s beat brought a heartbroken animal out of me, and that is a common theme we’ve really held on to throughout the entire album.”

The track features Premo’s signature scratches as well as Wolf lamenting about a lost love. With a sample from Dilated People’s “Good As Gone,” the single effortlessly seams together an underground Hip Hop feel with a modern Sade-esque lyrical approach.

“Working with Preem is the nonpareil. It’s all about the feel, which is how I find myself doing everything I do in this life,” states Wolf. “When it comes to expression, I don’t believe there are any right or wrong ways to do it, and creating with Preem falls right in line with that way of living for me. We have great chemistry in the lab, and I think of our creations like language and our genres are our dialects.”

The Wantagh, New York native adds, “Our conversations flow beautifully. We understand each other, and I feel so grateful to have found each other here and everywhere and even more excited to share our sound babies with the world.”

Snoop Dogg Says Prince Showed Us What A Threesome Was

Snoop Dogg recently gave Prince a lot of credit as far as showing us how to get down in the bedroom in a recent interview. Well the freaks anyway. Snoop says he learned the art of the threesome from the one and only Prince, and it was Prince who showed us what a ménage-à-trois was. According to Snoop, Prince showed artists how to seduce a woman and make music that felt good to women and appealed to men as well. The gender fluid Prince certainly got down and had all of the bad b—es! Remember when Pac said he wanted to just call up Prince sometimes because he loved women like Pac loved women.

“He’s the first one who told us and showed us what a ménage-à-trois was. We didn’t know!”

Is The Game Reuniting With G-Unit?

The Game just may be reuniting with G-Unit! The previous riff between 50 Cent and The Game is often viewed as a pretty unfortunate beef in Hip Hop music. G-Unit fans may be getting exactly what they wished for as the beef may be completely coming to an end. Game’s Blood Money signee Pharoah Jackson posted a video with Dr. Dre and Game from the making of ‘The Documentary 2,’ but it’s the caption that caught people’s attention.

“The BEATLES aka G-Unit are joining forces again. Straight Outta Compton the movie captivated the globe now what’s gone happen when we do the G-Unit movie with all the drama. G-Unit aka the Hip-Hop Beatles took over the world. But egos caused them to break up prematurely, said Pharoah.”

The beef may finally be over. Remember the two were spotted partying peacefully in the same club not too long ago. Could a full out G-Unit reunion with The Game be in the works? What are your thoughts?

Roy Jones Jr. On Canelo vs. GGG: “Canelo Fights Pacquiao Before “Killer” Golovkin!”

Immediately after boxer Gennady “GGG” Golovkin’s (35-0, 32KOs) second round KO victory against Dominic Wade (18-1, 12KOs) on April 23, 2016, All Hip Hop correspondent Kylie Krabbe caught up ringside with HBO commentators Roy Jones Jr. and Max Kellerman to discuss the probability of Golovkin finally fighting current WBC World Middleweight Champion Saul Canelo Alvarez (47-1-1, 33KOs) as Alvarez’s mandatory opponent.

As you’ll see from the video below, Roy Jones got pretty heated when it came to the “sense” of Canelo fighting Golovkin and Golovkin’s part in why he’s in a position where he has to beg in order to get a decent fight.

Lupe Fiasco Calls On Retired General Stanley McChrystal To Run For President

(AllHipHop News) Four years ago, Lupe Fiasco took a stance against voting in the 2012 presidential election. The Chicago rapper declared he would not be supporting Barack Obama nor Mitt Romney. However, Lupe does seem to have a choice in this year’s race for the White House.

The “Battle Scars” spitter did not publicly endorse presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump or Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton. Instead Lupe called on retired United States Army general Stanley A. McChrystal to put his name on the ballot.

McChrystal is best known as the commander of US and ISAF forces in Afghanistan in the late 2000’s. He was a proponent of sending more troops to the nation in order to fight the Taliban.

The four-star general was eventually forced to resign his command in Afghanistan after he and his staff were quoted making disparaging remarks about Vice-President Joe Biden, National Security Advisor James L. Jones, and other civilian government officials in a 2010 Rolling Stone article. He officially retired from the army later that year.

McChrystal has not weighed in on the 2016 presidential contest, but he has backed both Republican and Democratic veteran candidates in the past. In 2014, McChrystal expressed he “deeply respected” Clinton as Secretary Of State, but he fell short of endorsing her to take on the role of Commander-In-Chief.

“At the SXSW [Festival], I performed on the ‘Black Auerbach & Friends’ stage. When I came off stage I was greeted by Yung Zeke, JU, and Young Hunnid of the Dawg Crew Ent. collective, who are direct business affiliates of Snoop Dogg,” explains James. “They liked my performance and formed an organic relationship with me. We kept in touch after SXSW, and one day they told me how they brought my name up to Pocket Norwood, an A&R over at DoggyStyle Records. Pocket asked me to send some music to him, and he played it for Snoop Dogg. Now here we are!”

James celebrated his union with Snoop’s label by releasing the new single “Southern Playa Sh-t.” The cut was produced by Mazo Mystro and features an appearance by Southern Playas member Messiah Da Rapper.

After being born in Atlanta, James and his mother moved to the coastal city of Savannah, Georgia. He relocated back to the ATL during his senior year in high school. The man formerly known as CJ Da Fly Guy later began pursuing music as a profession, eventually releasing projects such as Country And Proud, Kickin PimpinHenny & Apple Juice, and Trillmatic.

“There isn’t a lot of opportunity for artists to succeed in Savannah, so the best thing I could’ve done was move back to Atlanta where I started my music career. You can really get something going musically in Atlanta and that’s what I love about the city!,” adds James. “This is a game where many are called but few are chosen! The hustle is what will separate the contenders from the pretenders in the end!”

Chris Brown and Kevin McCall Are Back At It With The R&Beef

Kevin McCall and Chris Brown are back at it with the beef. The two have been publicly feuding with various insults and threats flying back and forth between the former collaborators.

There have been jabs and accusations from theft to domestic violence.

McCall took to Instagram to ask why is he still signed to Chris Brown. Kevin accused Chris Brown of being jealous of him and getting upset about a time when Rihanna called his phone back in the day.

McCall says when he’s no longer signed to Chris is when he will chill. He also threatened Breezy with the fade!

Chris Brown didn’t take it too well as he told McCall that RCA dropped him, and he blocked his own blessings. Breezy also said he can’t wait to take the money from his fans as they will be at his concerts, not Kevin’s.

Kevin went as far as to call Chris Bobby Brown, and he claims that all of Chris’ girls tried to holla at him. This may not end well. Gotta love R&Beef.

Azealia Banks Says All U.K. Rappers Suck In Epic Racist Rant Against Former One Direction Member Zayn Malik

(AllHipHop News) Azealia Banks launched a disgusting homophobic and racist rant at Zayn Malik on Wednesday morning.

Things began when Azealia shared a comparative snap on Twitter of her “Yung Rapunxel” video and Zayn’s newly released “Like I Would” video, accusing the former One Direction star of copying her concept.

“Damn Zayn be mood boarding the s**t out of me… I’m not mad about this though. Zayn is a cutie pie,” she wrote alongside the picture.

Zayn chose not to respond directly to Azealia, but tweeted: “No lies… I see you reaching but I don’t care.” He followed that with: “My @s too good for you.”

It was the latter comment that appeared to trigger Azealia’s rant, with the 24-year-old rapper starting: “@zaynmalik dude, I make better music than you. Simmer down with that fake white boy rebellion and that wannabe Bieber swag. Lol u a b**tch n***a for even responding like that (sic).”

Azealia Banks escalated matters when she began making racist comments about Zayn’s Pakistani heritage.

“Keeping sucking this young rapunxel dk u hairy curry scented bh,” she wrote. “Imma start calling you punjab you dirty bh. You a dk rider for real. Ride this d**k until the wheels fall off Punjab (sic).”

https://www.twitter.com/AZEALIABANKS/status/730145518198902784

Azealia’s Twitter rant continued when she told Zayn he was the “token brown boy” in British chart-topping band One Direction.

“All those white boys in 1D disrespected you and made you their PET. You were only apart of 1D to draw brown attention. You are and ALWAYS will be a TOKEN to the UK,” she added.

As he struggled to come to terms with Azealia’s remarks, Zayn tweeted her:

“@AZEALIABANKS why you been saying nasty things about me ? I wasn’t talking about you lol ?”

This appeared to only fuel Azealia’s rage, as she then responded to his message by referring to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, writing:

“U.S.A IS ABOUT TO TEACH YOU WHO NOT TO F**K WITH!! When your entire extended family has been obliterated by good ol the U.S of A will you still be trying to…. Act like a white boy pretending to be black?
“Do you understand that you are a sand n***** who emulates white boys’ renditions of black male hood? Do you know how lost and culture less you are?”

London radio station Capital FM played with fire with they included Azealia’s Twitter handle in a message stating that they were playing Zayn’s#### “Pillow Talk” on the show, along with a headshot of the singer.

In further comments, Azealia wrote about the snap of Zayn: “This is the face he made when capital fm held auditions at the refugee camp for refugees best talent!”

Houston Rap Legend Willie D. Calls Out Charles Barkley Hard In Video For “Coon”

(AllHipHop News) Anyone familiar with the history of Hip-Hop and The Geto Boys knows group members Scarface, Bushwick Bill and Willie D. had no difficulties speaking their minds.

In the 1990’s, the trio’s Rap-A-Lot Records albums pushed hardcore rap into the spotlight thanks to their outspoken lyrics on topics as varied as the police, government, rape and even murder.

Willie D., a founding member of the Houston-based group, is still just as outspoken in 2016, more than 30 years after the group debuted.

On May 10, Willie D. premiered a provocative new song called “Coon.”

The rapper takes Charles Barkley to task over a number of concerns.

The rapper isn’t pleased with Charles Barkley’s comments on slavery, which he said . Willie D.  also calls out Sir Charles for dressing in drag and for dissing women from San Antonio, a city in his home state.

The 7 minute-plus video begins with a sample from “Malcolm X.” And then Willie D. immediately begins calling out Charles Barkley, Stephen A. Smith, Raven Symone.

A look-alike in the “Coon Music” video features a spot-on impersonation of Charles Barkley as Willie D. raps:

Listen up Charles Barkley/You light skin but still calling you a darky/The only reason that they put the mic in your face/Is so you can do they dirt and talk down on your race/TNT made you big put you on a wig/Now you’re acting like you never had trouble with pigs/You kissed a man in the mouth for reals dudes that’s a no no/When you gon’ come out the closet you f###### h###

Another impersonator plays Stephen A. Smith, and Willie D. manages to bring the Bill Cosby situation into the mix when he calls out Raven Symone for some of her more recent comments about African-Americans on national television.

I’m a savage running through the field amok/Raven-Symone shut your chicken head dumb ass up/White folks don’t love you black folks don’t trust you/When you was on that show Bill Cosby must’ve drugged you
