(AllHipHop News) Rapper David Banner continues to be one of the most outspoken artists on a number of issues, specifically police brutality.
David Banner has weighed in on the recent news that prosecutors in Baltimore decided to drop all charges against the remaining police officers who were accused of causing Freddie Gray’s death.
Gray was killed in April of 2015, when he was handcuffed and placed into the back of a van and taken for a “rough ride” by Baltimore police officers.
“In the case of Freddie Gray, America has clearly shown that it has completely turned its back on Black people,” David Banner told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “Apparently, the laws are not the same for the Police. We lose our lives; they get paid vacation. What are Blackbpeople to do about it is a better question!”
Four of the officers were acquitted of involuntary manslaughter charges and today (July 27) prosecuted dropped charges against another three officers slated to go on trial this year.
Last month, David Banner penned an open treatise to police and the Black community after the murders of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile at the hands of police.
(AllHipHop News) Dr. Dre may be entangled in a bitter legal dispute with Jerry Heller, the mogul’s former manager is still coming to the defense of his former client, after a recent encounter with the police in Malibu.
According to reports, a man had come off the freeway and decided to park in front of and block the driveway to Dr. Dre’s beachfront home.
When the cops arrived Dr. Dre was handcuffed and searched by law enforcement in front of his home during the incident.
A dispute occurred and the upset motorist called 911 to report that Dre had pulled a gun on him in the racially charged incident.
“As you know, professionally I am a big Dr.Dre fan. Personally I am not such a big Dr. Dre fan, but this was all bulls##t. I mean, what did he do? He was just trying to leave his house, the guy had his driveway blocked,”
Jerry Heller told TMZ.com.
Despite his fame and celebrity status, Jerry Heller believed that Dr. Dre was treated different because he was a black man living in Malibu.
Heller agrees that if it had been a white artist like Eminem, he would not have been handcuffed in front of his own home.
“Without knowing all the facts, it seems to me like it was a racial issue,” Jerry Heller said.

Joe Budden gave everyone some pretty funny entertainment when he chased a few Drake stans who thought it was a good idea to confront him at his home.
Joe hopped out off his car to chase the kids, and once he caught them he advised them to never return to his neighborhood. He even threatened to kill them.
The Slaughterhouse rapper quickly became the subject of some of the funniest memes. Budden even found the memes to be funny himself, however he stated,
“I truly hope u kids don’t make running up to ppl’s homes a thing. It’s dangerous.”
One of the men who was chased by Budden now claims that him and Joe were able to squash the beef after Joe visited him at his home. People have to stop taking this internet stuff too far. We can’t get the image of Joe Budden and those rocks out of our heads!

Freddie Gray died after suffering injuries to his spine after he was shackled and placed into the back of a van commanded by Baltimore police officers.
“All of our clients are thrilled with what happened today, and we’ll be making a comment later to address the details of what happened,” said Catherine Flynn, Miller’s attorney, outside the courthouse.
Gray’s death at the hands of Baltimore police sparked several days of rioting and looting until the National Guard was called in.

Today, prosecutors decided to drop all charges against the three remaining officers – Officer Garrett Miller, Sgt. Alicia White and Officer William Porter, who was supposed to be retried after the hung jury.
The verdicts mean there will no one will be prosecuted for the death of Freddie Gray.
(AllHipHop News) Will Gucci Mane’s comeback LP push enough units to overtake Drake at the top of the album charts?
The answer is yes and no.
According to HitsDailyDouble, Everybody Looking is predicted to sell between 45,000 – 50,000 copies in its first week.
That is likely to have Gucci at #1 on the Albums Sales chart.
However, Drake’s Views continues to prevail when it comes to streaming numbers.
The Toronto native’s project is expected to collect around 81,000 – 86,000 equivalent album units, so he is on pace to lead the Billboard 200 for the 12th week.
Views actually falls significantly behind Everybody Looking in traditional album sales for the week.
Only 14,000 – 17,000 copies of Drake’s fourth studio album were sold in that time frame.
While Gucci is set to hit at least 45K in traditional sales, his SPS total is looking to be in the range of 69,000 – 74,000.
Guwop’s The Return of Mr. Zone 6 opened with 22,000 copies sold in its first week of release in 2011.
(AllHipHop News) Kanye West and Kim Kardashian appeared to come out as the winners of the most recent round in their feud with Taylor Swift.
Kardashian’s decision to release audio of Swift admitting she was aware and accepting of the subject matter of Ye’s controversial “Famous” song – despite previously acting as if she disapproved of the track – caused #KimExposedTaylorParty to trend on Twitter for over a day.
According to HollywoodLife, Kanye may be taking more shots at the Pop singer during the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards.
“Kanye is looking to do ‘Famous’ live on stage at the VMAs and would love to really rip into Taylor Swift during the performance,” a source told the pop culture website.
If the report is true, Kanye would be slamming Swift at the same award ceremony where the conflict began seven years ago. The 2009 VMAs became infamous for Ye’s highly publicized interruption of Taylor’s speech after winning the award for Best Female Video.
The HL source added, “Also as we all know, [Kanye] is bound to say anything when the mic is in his hand and he is ready to make many statements about many things including any stuff about Taylor. And if [Swift’s ex-boyfriend] Calvin [Harris] wants to join the stage with him, count Kanye being very interested into that as well.”
West is up for Video Of The Year and Best Male Video in 2016. With nominations in two of the top honors of the night and a history of being very vocal at the VMAs, the G.O.O.D. Music boss is likely to make a memorable appearance at this year’s show.
What are your thoughts on Kanye West possibly dissing Taylor Swift at the Video Music Awards? Take our poll below.

The ‘Family Hustle’ seems to be shaken up a bit lately in regards to T.I. and Tiny’s relationship, issues with Tip’s restaurant and much more.
Rumors spread quickly that Tiny allegedly caught T.I. cheating with a “prostitute” who happened to be former Taz’s Angel escort Ana Montana.
Word on the street is Tiny confronted Ana when she found out Tip was allegedly creeping with her in an upscale Atlanta hotel.
T.I. and Tiny had been rather mum on the subject that is until Tiny got into it with her oldest daughter Zonnique’s step mom on Instagram. Zonnique’s step mom took offense to T.I. posting a photo of Zonnique with a caption that read “Mines!!!”
Zonnique’s step mom decided to send shots at Tiny basically saying that she was acting like T.I. did everything for her when her biological father, Zebo, was also in the picture as well. It didn’t stop there. The woman also took a shot at Tiny saying that her husband, T.I., was just caught with a prostitute, to which Tiny replied saying,
“& yeah he was with a prostitute so they say. He gotta deal with that with God I ain’t worried.”
Well it looks like Tiny just confirmed that there is trouble in paradise indeed. We hate to see this as they make a great couple, and as they just had a new baby girl! Tighten up Tip & Tiny!.

This past weekend rap icons 50 Cent and Fat Joe made history when they shared the Drai’s LIVE stage at Drai’s Nightclub at The Cromwell in Las Vegas.
Fat Joe, who recently ended a beef with Jay Z, who appeared on the “All The Way Up” remix, also recently squashed their decade-long feud.
50 also called out Floyd Mayweather, who joined them onstage.
After the show, the veteran artists continued the party at their stageside VIP booths.
While 50 Cent may certainly be the King of Petty, Drake is the Prince.
It looks like Drake also got to see the viral video of Joe Budden chasing the 6 God’s stans, as Drake took time out to follow them.
Drake has proven that he is truly petty as he gives one of the guys his thanks and social media cosign. We are just waiting for Drake and his team to compile the Joe Budden memes into another power point presentation for the next stop of the Summer Sixteen tour.
This Budden running meme is certainly the meme that keeps on giving though. LOL.

(AllHipHop News) Sean “Diddy” Combs’ son Justin and actor Angus T. Jones have formed an unlikely partnership to launch a new events firm.
Justin Combs, 22, founded Tonite last October (15) with Kene Orjioke, his classmate at the University of California at Los Angeles, and now he has brought on Angus to serve as the President of Entertainment for the brand, a multimedia and events production company.
The two young men were introduced by a mutual pal three years ago, and Justin reveals he and the former child star quickly hit it off.
He tells People.com, “Angus is someone I’ve admired for a very long time. I feel as though he and I share common ideas.”
Combs, who works as Tonite’s President Of Urban Entertainment, hopes teaming up with Jones will help to turn the fledgling firm into a big brand, offering revelers an experience like no other.
“At its heart, Tonite is a movement, a feeling, a vibe, an energy,” Justin explains. “It’s something that people have to attend to understand. This isn’t another party, event or concert. It’s an experience.”
Working with Justin and Kene marks Angus’ return to entertainment after walking away from hit sitcom Two and a Half Men in 2014, and even he admits he was a little apprehensive at first about taking on a job at Tonite.
“When I first met with Justin and Kene, I was kind of coming into it as like, ‘Why do you guys want me to be a part of your music scene?'” Angus tells Billboard.com. “I like music and I know music – that’s what my dad has done (running an equipment rental company) and I’ve grown up around that, so I kind of moved that way myself but I was like, ‘Why me?'”
However, he has since realized growing up in the TV industry and working with such a tight-knit crew on Two and a Half Men has given him the perfect insight into how to “put on a good show”.
Meanwhile, Justin reveals he began developing his business skills from a young age after watching his rap mogul father at work.
“Something my father always stressed to me is that in business, things don’t always go your way,” Justin recalls to People.com. “You can’t be scared to take chances or make mistakes. You have to learn from your mistakes and continue growing and pushing as a man. And most of all, you always have to keep a good connection and faith with God and things will naturally fall into place and go the way they’re supposed to.”
(AllHipHop News) Rapper Gucci Mane is busy at work building his brand, with a series of new businesses he’s planning to launch.
One of those businesses is a new clothing line called Delantic, which is Gucci’s middle name.
Even though it’s easier to believe the new version of Gucci is a clone, during an interview with The New York Times, Gucci Mane credited a daily workout regimen and his newfound sobriety as inspiration for his rediscovered entrepreneurial spirit.
“I felt like I couldn’t make music sober, I couldn’t enjoy my money sober,” Gucci Mane told The New York Times.”Why would I wanna go to a club and couldn’t smoke or drink? I felt like sex wouldn’t be good sober. I associated everything with being high.”
Sobriety finally came to the rapper during his latest stint in prison thanks to prayer, exercise, dedication and going through a terrible withdrawal process.
“First came withdrawal. ‘Death,’” Gucci explained. “It feel like death. Your body just craving lean bad. Stomach tore up, can’t think straight. Just mad at the world.”
His new, positive outlook seems to be working so far.
Gucci has only been home from prison two months to the day (July 26), and he’s already out working most rappers.
In fact, Gucci Mane was also out earning the average rapper while he was incarcerated, raking in over a million during the course of the three years he was down.
In addition to his latest album Everybody Looking, Gucci has already worked with 2 Chainz, Future, French Montana, Birdman and even Justin Bieber.
Gucci is also reportedly working on a mixtape with Drake.
Fabolous brought some special guests out during his resident performance at Drai’s LIVE stage in Las Vegas.
Fab brought out celebs like James Harden, who manned the turntables, as well as Terrence J and even comedian Dave Chappelle.
