Uncle Luke Suggests Diddy’s “Freak Off” Troubles Started With Drugs

2 Live Crew rapper Uncle Luke was a recent guest on The Stephen A. Smith Show, where he had an extensive conversation with Smith about Diddy’s legal troubles.

At one point in the discussion, Smith told Uncle Luke (real name Luke Campbell) that Suge Knight was a recent guest on News Nation with Chris Cuomo—from prison—which Luke couldn’t believe. He then told Luke the former Death Row CEO was running a podcast from behind bars in which he also provided his two cents on Diddy’s downfall. Luke suggested drugs played a pivotal role in Diddy’s now-infamous “freak-off” parties.

“At the end of the day, he did it to hisself,” he said. “And a lot of people say that it had kind a lot to do with drugs. And you know, when your head get. Guys don’t supposed to have telephones in jail, but they do have telephones in jail. But then they get they one or two you know, calls, and they get it done. So those guys are still connected. But I listen to the interview just like you did, and I listen to certain things […]

“A lot of my friends who know [Diddy] real closely, you know, they said, yeah, you got consumed with the drugs. And so when you hear certain things like that from a guy that’s incarcerated. That means he’s really really in touch to the situation, right […]  I mean, the industry don’t change. If you don’t control the industry, the industry real control you.”

Uncle Luke then suggested Diddy thought he was “too big,” which led to him suing Diageo in May 2023 over his belief that the company treated Ciroc and DeLeón tequila as inferior products and limited their distribution to “urban” neighborhoods. Some people have suggested Diageo is behind all of Diddy’s woes.

The two parties reached a settlement in January to resolve the lawsuit, putting their contentious legal war to bed. Diddy claimed in the lawsuit that Diageo had breached their agreement by failing to adequately support his DeLeón and said they treated his product line “worse than others because he is Black.”

The settlement came roughly two months after Diddy’s ex Cassie Ventura sued the mogul for sexual and physical assault. While the they settled out of court in less than 24 hours, Ventura’s suit served as the catalyst for dozens of others to come forward with their own Diddy horror stories. A federal investigation ensued and Diddy was arrested on September 16 charged with three counts: racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and prostitution. He remains in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn without bail.

Suge Knight suggested that Sean “Diddy” Combs might face potential attacks while imprisoned, providing a glimpse into the bleak reality of prison life during an interview with NewsNation.

Currently serving a 28-year sentence in a California prison for voluntary manslaughter, Knight spoke candidly about the harsh environment that inmates like Diddy, who has been a longtime rival in the Hip-Hop world, might encounter behind bars.

The rivalry between Knight’s Death Row Records and Diddy’s Bad Boy Entertainment has spanned decades, marked by intense competition and personal vendettas.

The feud culminated with the unsolved murders of Death Row’s Tupac Shakur and Bad Boy’s The Notorious B.I.G.

When asked about Diddy, Knight, 59, made it clear that despite their long-standing enmity, he wasn’t celebrating his rival’s potential incarceration.

“I’m not going to cheer for a Black man going to prison or any human being going to prison,” Knight said.

He warned that prison can be a breeding ground for violence, suggesting someone might attack Diddy to gain notoriety.

“I mean, one of the things is this: I don’t care who you are, prison and jail is a negative environment. Somebody can do something to him and get a name for themself, they gonna actually do it. Or if they can do whatever they feel they gotta do to prove themself,” said Knight, painting a grim picture of life behind bars.

A couple from Little Rock, Arkansas nearly sold the pair of beat up black Nike Air Force One shoes Kendrick Lamar used for recent single art for less than $100.

According to a report from local news station THV 11 News, the photo Kendrick Lamar used for the song fans have tentatively dubbed “Watch the Party Die” was taken from the eBay listing for the shoes that were being sold via an account managed by Billy Lingo and Darla Wilson.

Lingo and Wilson, who’ve been together for 20 years and selling items on eBay under the account “Good to Be You” since 2021, were caught completely off guard by the sudden hype surrounding the shoes. Wilson recounted the moment she realized the significance of the sale that she admits she almost completed for $70 before she was made aware of the situation.

“What happened was I sold the shoes and I said, ‘Oh great, I sold a pair of shoes,'” Wilson said. “So I started, I’ve got ’em boxed ’em up, printed the label and all of a sudden my phone was blowing up.”

Unbeknownst to the couple, they had just sold a pair of sneakers that were now part of Hip-Hop history. Though they were originally purchased for $70, the shoes skyrocketed in value after eagle-eyed fans linked them to Kendrick Lamar’s latest song, which was released on September 11 following backlash over his Super Bowl Halftime Show headliner announcement. Despite the frenzy, the couple insists they have no personal connection to the Compton rapper.

“We had no idea what was happening,” Billy Lingo admitted, adding that his children had to clue him in on the star power of Lamar. “I’m not going to lie to you. I didn’t know a whole lot about him. My son had told me about him, and my daughter had told me about him, but I really know about him now.”

Now Lingo and Wilson are preparing to sell off the shoes to the highest bidder after relisting the kicks on eBay for an official auction. With this newfound fame, Lingo and Wilson quickly upped the starting bid to a whopping $5,000. But they aren’t stopping there. Realizing they own the image of the iconic sneakers, the couple plans to cash in even further by selling custom t-shirts featuring the viral shoes.

“We had an opportunity put in for, and I’m not a greedy person,” Lingo said. “I got to buy it now for a hundred thousand. I buy it now for $75,000. I know that’s kind of, I’m probably not going to happen, but it could.”

Lance Bass of the legendary boy band *NSYNC, took to “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” and reignited a long-standing beef with Hip-Hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The sparks flew during an appearance marked by public jabs that illuminated old wounds.

Bass, performing with JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Justin Timberlake from 1996 until *NSYNC went on hiatus in 2002, recounted a stinging insult from Combs that has lingered for years.

The tension originated from an overheard conversation where Combs allegedly urged Timberlake to ditch his bandmates for solo success.

“I overheard him talking to Justin being like, ‘You need to drop these effers. You need to go solo. You need to drop these,'” Bass shared with Cohen. “I was like, ‘I don’t like you anymore, Diddy.’ I’m like, ‘At my own show? What the hell!’ So I never liked him.”

Adding fuel to the fire, Bass’s revelations arrived shortly after Combs was arrested on severe charges such as sex trafficking and racketeering—allegations he firmly denies.

Prosecutors have increasingly used rap lyrics as evidence in criminal trials, a controversial practice that raises concerns about freedom of expression and racial bias. They argue that some of the lyrics often serve as confessions or admissions of guilt, linking artists to criminal activities.

Former Kidz in the Hall rapper Dr. Jabari Evans was called to testify in the murder trial of Canadian rapper Top5 to discuss the harmful practice of using rap lyrics as evidence. Speaking to Justin Hunte—also known as “The Company Man”—Evans described what his experience was like inside the courtroom and why he felt it was important to take the stand.

“What this case is doing was saying, ‘Hey, no, no, no, no.’ Just because someone goes on IG Live or someone does an interview on YouTube and they say things that are inflammatory, that in and of itself is also a part of their caricature or part of their persona or part of that idea that they want to market themselves for clout,” he said. “In my research I talk about clout chasing quite a bit. In the culture, that’s a term that we use that we’re very familiar with.

“But in terms of how I use it in academia, I’m really thinking about power dynamics in terms of how young Black men and women are forced to rely on tropes of Blackness that are super negative, limiting and stereotypical in order to make it. And they lean into these stereotypes and tropes to the nth degree.”

Top5 was arrested and charged in connection with the 2021 shooting death of 20-year-old Hashim Omar Hashi. Prosecutors allege that Top5 played a key role in orchestrating the murder. He was initially on the run and evaded capture by fleeing to the United States before being extradited back to Canada to face the charges.

Top5 maintained his innocence, claiming that the accusations against him were false. The trial raised questions about the use of Top5’s public persona and music in the courtroom. Prosecutors referenced his lyrics and social media posts, which often touched on street violence, as evidence to support their claims.

Prosecutors allege that rap lyrics, especially when they describe violent or illegal acts, can provide insight into a defendant’s mindset, intent or involvement in crimes. In some high-profile cases, these lyrics have been used to connect defendants to specific incidents, portraying them as having intimate knowledge of criminal details. The tactic, however, has faced significant backlash, particularly from artists and advocates who believe it unfairly targets Black and Latino artists.

Critics argue that using rap lyrics as evidence infringes on the First Amendment, which protects creative expression. They point out that other art forms, such as film, literature or even other genres of music, rarely face the same level of scrutiny. Johnny Cash is an excellent example. His 1960 single “Folsom Prison Blues” contains the lyrics, “I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die,” but he didn’t actually commit murder.

Like Dr. Evans, critics believe the selective targeting of rap lyrics perpetuates harmful stereotypes that specifically criminalize Hip-Hop culture and its artists. Many contend that lyrics in rap are often fictional, exaggerated or meant to express broader societal or personal frustrations rather than actual experiences. Several high-profile legal battles have emerged over the issue, sparking debates about the fine line between art and admissible evidence in courtrooms. Some states have even passed laws limiting the use of rap lyrics as evidence, reflecting growing concerns about the potential for injustice.

Evans was required to be at the courthouse for about eight to nine hours over two days. He provided a 20-page report on “drill rap, clout-chasing and the idea that one’s persona in rap can’t necessarily be utilized as anything more than entertainment and it shouldn’t be admitted in the court as evidence.” And it appeared to have quite an impact.

Top5 was released from jail on September 23 after his charge of first-degree murder was stayed by the Crown in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. He served a total of three years. Shortly after his release, Top5 shared a photo of himself alongside his attorney. He wrote in the caption, “Shoutout Gary Grill for being the best lawyer in Toronto #ALLAHUAKBAR.”

Katt Williams Clowns Diddy’s “Dumb” Lawyer For Costco Cop Out

Comedian Katt Williams isn’t shy about expressing his opinions and a recent stand-up show was no exception.

Williams was mid-set when he brought up Diddy and the 1,000 bottles of baby oil federal investigators allegedly confiscated from one of his homes. Williams proceeded to talk about the Bad Boy Records mogul’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, who scoffed at the notion and denied there was anything strange about the feds’ discovery. Williams was seemingly shocked that the only defense Agnifilo had was  Diddy “buys in bulk” at Costco.

“His dumb ass lawyer says, ‘He probably got it at Costco,” he said with a laugh. “Costco hit right back ‘we dont even sell baby oil’ ”

Speaking to TMZ, Agnifilo brushed off the nefarious acts that supposedly happened during Diddy’s “freak off” parties.

“Back when I was a kid in the late ’70s, they were called threesomes,” Agnifilo said. “I don’t know where the number ‘1,000’ came from. I can’t imagine it’s thousands [of bottles of baby oil and lube], and I’m not really sure what the baby oil has to do with anything.”

Diddy was arrested at a Manhattan hotel on September on three charges: racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

“For years, Sean Combs used the business empire he controlled to sexually abuse and exploit women, as well as to commit other acts of violence and obstruction of justice,” U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said. “He is charged with racketeering and sex trafficking offenses. If you have been a victim of Combs’ alleged abuse – or if you know anything about his alleged crimes—we urge you to come forward. This investigation is far from over.”

Diddy has pleaded not guilty. His defense attorneys tried multiple times to secure bail, but a judge ultimately decided he belonged behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. If convicted, he faces up to life in prison.

DJ Khaled Roasted For “Crowd-Surfing” At UCF Vs. Colorado Game

DJ Khaled never claims to be a small statured man, but he didn’t take his size into consideration when crowd-surfing at the UCF Knights versus Colorado Buffalos game on Saturday (September 28).

After performing a set, Khaled and Fat Joe came over to the Big Noon crew for a brief segment. Soon, video of the “We The Best” producer jumping into a rowdy crowd of football fans started making the rounds on social media. DJ Khaled’s crowd-surfing adventure was short-lived; his personal security force quickly pulled him back from the UCF fans.

Unsurprisingly, people had a field day roasting DJ Khaled in the comment section of The Bleacher Report’s Twitter (X) post. “I know some kid just dislocated a shoulder trying to hold up the mandem,” one person wrote, while another said, “Shout to the fans who held up his fat ass lol.”

Some were more mean spirited, saying things like, “They had to sign an agreement for this. There’s no way I’m lifting all that lard” and “I’d be scared for my mf life.” Several other people made fun of his “six-inch vert.”

Nevertheless, it looked like DJ Khaled was having the time of his life—a far cry from this summer, when he was getting blasted for not speaking out about the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. In July, he showed off a freezer stacked to the gills with ice cream. In the clip, Khaled called his son Asahd to the freezer before asking which ice cream he should select.

While some were shocked by the size of the freezer and amount of ice cream in it, others called him out for staying quiet about the conflict despite his Palestinian roots.

“Whilst his people are literally starving to death he posts this video of his fridge full of ice cream and chocolate,” one person wrote. “He’s not put out 1 video, speaking and showing support and solidarity with his own people. DJ Khaled is a disgrace!” Another said, “A reminder that DJ Khaled, an entertainer with direct Palestinian heritage has yet to say a single word about the war, and incessant bombing happening in a country his parents are from and where he still has family members.”

DaBaby Puts Sucker-Punching Old Man Incident To Rest

DaBaby resolved a civil case regarding his battery of a senior citizen in California. The North Carolina-bred rapper settled a lawsuit filed against him by Gary Pagar, per TMZ.

Earlier this year, DaBaby pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery for his 2020 attack on Pagar. Prosecutors dropped a felony battery charge, citing problems proving Pagar’s serious bodily injury at trial.

A judge sentenced DaBaby to one year of probation. He was also ordered to pay $10,000 and stay at least 100 yards away from Pagar. Pagar sued DaBaby, whose real name is Jonathan Kirk, over the incident in 2021. Terms of their settlement weren’t disclosed.

According to the lawsuit, DaBaby “sucker-punched” Pagar and knocked the victim’s tooth out during an altercation at Pagar’s house. Pagar rented his property to DaBaby for what was supposed to be a “private vacation.” No more than 12 people were allowed at Pagar’s home.

“In fact, the purpose of defendants’ trip to Los Angeles was to gather 40 people and a commercial film crew at Mr. Pagar’s house to film a music video,” the lawsuit read. “When Mr. Pagar asked them to stop, they beat and battered him, stole his phone by force so he couldn’t call the police and threatened him. Then they vandalized his house and left, after stealing various valuable items.”

DaBaby allegedly pulled one of his associates off Pagar, but it wasn’t to help the victim. Pagar said the controversial artist did so to “taunt, threaten and punch” the homeowner.

“You better not call the police,” DaBaby supposedly told Pagar.

That’s when the sucker punch occurred, resulting in Pagar losing a tooth. Pagar’s colleague called 911. DaBaby and his crew allegedly fled the scene after “stealing valuable kitchenware,” Pagar claimed.

G Herbo Claims He Paid $1M To Law Firm Suing Him For Alleged $200K Debt

G Herbo has issued a public response to a lawsuit filed against him by the law firm Prince Lobel Tye. The company claims the Chicago artist owes $237,000 for legal services related to his federal fraud case.

In an impassioned Instagram video, Herbo expressed frustration over the lawsuit and defended his actions, claiming he has already paid the firm more than $1 million. Additionally, Herbo touched on the nature of the charges he fought against in the federal fraud case, revealing he was unfairly wrapped up in the fraud activity resulting in the charges against him when he was just a teenager. In the video, Herbo (real name Herbert Wright III) explained his side of the story, lamenting that he even had to address the issue publicly.

“I wish I didn’t even have to address this kind of stuff because… if I could avoid any kind of public perception in my personal life, in my business, I would do the opposite,” G Herbo said. “First of all, I paid y’all a million dollars. A million dollars, I think a little over a million dollars. I pleaded guilty to something. I had minor, a little involvement in the first place, and I only had my name on five pages of discovery.”

Herbo detailed his frustrations with the law firm, alleging that they overcharged him and misrepresented the work they performed. The lawsuit stems from legal fees Prince Lobel Tye law firm claims are still outstanding after representing Herbo in his high-profile federal case. Herbo pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and identity theft but insists he was an unwitting participant in the scheme. The rapper, who was 18 or 19 years old at the time, claims he paid large sums for goods and services without knowing they were being procured illegally.

“I don’t know how to do fraud,” he stated emphatically. “I went to jail for paying a [guy] hundreds of thousands of dollars to do s### for goods and services when I was 18 years old… He doing that s### illegally. That ain’t had nothing to do with me.”

G Herbo went on to explain that his legal team used a mitigation argument, focusing on his character and community work to avoid a trial. “My lawyers ain’t even really do s###,” he said. “I went into the courtroom and was able to walk home free based off who I am as a person and the likeliness that that’ll never happen again.”

Another major frustration for the rapper is the fallout from the case, which has caused issues with banking. G Herbo revealed that he has millions of dollars on hold and is struggling to find a bank that will accept his business after being “de-banked” as a result of the legal case.

“I got millions of dollars in deals on the table right now that I got to figure out what I’m going to do with the checks that I have already,” he explained.

As the lawsuit progresses, G Herbo seems confident that his team will handle the situation, though he’s clearly frustrated by the public nature of the dispute. “It is what it is. I’m going to deal with it, my team going to deal with it,” he said. “But I see it’s going viral everywhere, and my fans, I feel like they deserve a statement from me behind this.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ dirty deeds may soon be visible for the world to see via an explicit tape featuring a person with a higher profile than the disgraced mogul, which is being offered for sale.

Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, the attorney representing Adria English, has revealed that she was recently approached about selling an explicit video involving Diddy and another well-known individual.

“There already have been tapes leaking around Hollywood, being shopped around, but one particular person contacted me to shop a specific video they were in possession of,” Mitchell-Kidd said during an interview on *Banfield*.

She didn’t disclose the person’s identity in the video but confirmed that Diddy and someone “more high-profile” appear in the footage.

Mitchell-Kidd said she has seen stills of the explicit video, which was filmed in Diddy’s Atlanta home.

“The other person in the video is very visible,” she said, adding that the individual may not have been aware they were being recorded. “To me, it doesn’t seem like that person knows they’re being videotaped.”

Mitchell-Kidd declined to represent the person attempting to sell the video, stating that she refused to be involved in the transaction.

She also emphasized the serious implications the video could have for the ongoing legal cases involving Diddy. Mitchell-Kidd also revealed another sexual assault lawsuit will be filed against Diddy in the coming weeks.

The revelation comes as part of a broader series of legal battles surrounding Diddy, who has faced multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.

Diddy, 54, is currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as he awaits trial for charges including sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Kid Cudi Car Explosion—Allegedly Orchestrated By Diddy—Corroborated By L.A. Fire Department

The Los Angeles City Fire Department has corroborated Cassie Ventura’s claim that Kid Cudi’s car mysteriously blew up in 2012—allegedly at the hands of her ex Diddy.

A newly unearthed report obtained by Rolling Stone states Kid Cudi was the owner of a Porsche that was set on fire by an “incendiary device” on January 9, 2012. The fire was reported at 10:53 a.m. local time with the damage estimated at $10,000. The cause of the ignition was reportedly classified as “intentional.”

Ventura initially made the allegation in the bombshell lawsuit she filed against Diddy in November 2023. She claimed Diddy threatened to blow up Kid Cudi’s car after he discovered they were romantically involved.  Cudi later confirmed Ventura’s account, saying, “This is all true.” But Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, refuted the notion.

“There is no allegation that [Diddy] was involved in these actions or directed anyone else to take them,” he said in a statement. “It’s clear the government doesn’t know who set fire to the vehicle or how it relates to [Diddy], who denies any involvement.”

Diddy was arrested on September 16 on three charges: racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. Last week, prosecutors appeared to provide new details of the alleged arson without naming Kid Cudi in their indictment or court filings opposing Diddy’s release on bail.

In a letter to the court filed September 17, they alleged that “co-conspirators acting on behalf of Diddy set fire to an unidentified person’s vehicle by ‘slicing open the car’s convertible top and dropping a Molotov cocktail inside’ in early January 2012. They said “multiple witnesses” would testify about Diddy supposedly “bragging about his role in destroying Individual-1’s car.”

Diddy has pleaded not guilty and remains in Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. If convicted, he faces up to life in prison.

If this is true, it would be a massive win for the culture and a long-overdue spotlight on two of the South’s most influential figures.

These Memphis icons were one of the last groups to be signed to Diddy’s Bad Boy Records, and they’ve cemented themselves as legends in the game with classic albums like Comin’ Out Hard and On Top of the World. Their unmistakable sound has influenced a generation of Southern Hip-Hop artists and beyond. While we haven’t heard much new music from them lately, it looks like they’ve been busy behind the scenes working on something big.

8Ball & MJG’s story is one that needs to be told. They came up during a time when Southern rap was still fighting for recognition on the national stage, and through their hard work and distinctive style, they helped to redefine the sound of Hip-Hop in the 90s and 2000s. Kanye West has announced yet another album—this time, he says it’s called Bully. The divisive rapper/producer unveiled the title during a recent concert in China and quickly became a trending Twitter (X) topic on Saturday (September 28).

According to multiple social media posts, he also performed a new song called “Beauty & the Beast.” But West, whose album rollouts are historically messy, tweeted his next album would be called So Help Me God just days ago, so it’s possible he simply changed the title.

West’s most recent album, the collaborative Vultures 2 featuring Ty Dolla $ign, arrived in August. Playboi Carti, Future, Lil Durk, Kanye West’s daughters North and Chicago West, Young Thug, Lil Wayne, CyHi the Prynce, and Ty Dolla Sign’s brother Big TC were among the many guests. The album’s digital deluxe also included Peso Pluma, Kodak Black, Kid Cudi and Travis Scott.

The original album, Vultures, was released in February and produced the No. 1 single “Carnival” featuring Rich the Kid and Playboi Carti. The project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, although it marked West’s second-lowest first week sales with 148,000 album-equivalent units.

West remains a controversial figure in the entertainment business. He’s made a number of inflammatory remarks, including “slavery was a choice,” voiced his unwavering support for Donald Trump, rocked a MAGA hat and once tried to run for president. “Wanna hear a joke I have? Ready? This is good. See if you like it,” O’Donnell begins in her pre-show chat with the group. “Lot of multiple nominees, multiple Grammy nominees, this year. Lauryn Hill’s got four, TLC’s got eight and Sean Combs – five to 10.”

The implication of a “five to 10” year prison sentence immediately hit home with the TLC members, who burst into laughter while covering their faces.

O’Donnell continued, “Get it? Like, he’s going to jail?”

She wrapped up the joke with another quip about New York’s maximum-security facility, Sing Sing.

“I don’t mean to be mean,” she said, “because, I mean, he’s a nice guy and he can really sing sing. Oops!”

Currently, the 54-year-old Combs is serving time at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn on charges that include sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
