They are bugging down there in Texas. A couple of women were coming home from the beach. They still had their bathing suits on when the cops pulled them over for speeding. When they did, the cops feel they smelled the distinct smell of weed emanating from the vehicle. Guess what? They found a roach of weed in the car too. So, there you go. This is over, open and shut right? No. The male cop calls for a female cop and they are going to open up more. They decide its a wise idea to do a cavity search of the women on the side of the highway. This basically means they felt their was cause that the women had weed in their vaginas or their buttholes. And they did the search. And the cops are now getting sued federally.
Know your rights people.

(AllHipHop News) Nearly 30 years ago Los Angeles was the site where one of the most historic Hip Hop labels was launched. Priority Records would go on to release music by legendary rap acts like N.W.A., Snoop Dogg, Master P, Ice-T, and Jay Z.
After a being bought by EMI in 1998 and then merged into Capitol Records in 2004, the label was subsequently shut down. Priority is now set to relaunch under the umbrella of Capitol Music Group and Insurgency Music. This time as a producer-centered label.
“I don’t come from the Hip Hop world, but the genesis of that label was really about supporting the indie level,” said new Priority president and co-founder of Insurgency Michael Cohen. “The emergence of the producer as an artist and brand within the global electronic music scene and beyond has heralded a paradigm shift in the way music is created, discovered, and spread.”
The first official release from the new Priority will be the song “Higher” by Hip Hop producer Just Blaze and “Harlem Shake” creator Baauer on August 13.The track features Jay Z’s voice. A video for the single is currently being shot by director Nabil Elderkin (Nas & Damian Marley’s “Patience”, Kanye West’s “Paranoid”).
It was also announced that producer Harry Fraud has signed his Surf School label to Priority. Fraud recently dropped his compilation mixtape Adrift with guest appearances by Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa, Pusha T, Mac Miller, and others. He also released an EP with Action Bronson titled Saaab Stories in June.
“We’re so respectful of Priority’s important role in Capitol’s history,” said Steve Barnett Capitol Music Group chairman/CEO. “But it was also a street label focusing on music that thrives outside the mainstream. And that’s exactly what Michael and his team have been doing.”
Listen to Just Blaze & Baauer’s “Higher” featuring Jay Z below.
(AllHipHop News) The August 1, 2013 cover of Rolling Stone has created a firestorm of controversy. The iconic music magazine was hit with boycotts from retail stores like CVS, 7-11, and Kmart for featuring a photo of the Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on the cover.
Critics argued that the rock star treatment was glorifying the alleged terrorist. Rolling Stone writer Matt Taibbi defended the magazine’s decision to put Tsarnaev on the cover pointing out that The New York Times used the same photo on its front page in May.
Turns out it was never originally intended for Tsarnaev to be the focal point of the issue in the first place. According to The Hollywood Reporter the editor’s first choice was for Kanye West to grace the cover of the August edition.
Apparently, West was scheduled to make his third appearance on the Rolling Stone cover but pulled out abruptly. THR sources say the early birth of his child with reality star Kim Kardashianand his refusal to talk about the baby on the record led to him not doing the interview.
Kanye’s two previous RS cover photos grabbed a lot of media attention as well. In 2006, Kanye went full Yeezus by donning a crown of thorns on the cover with a headline that read “The Passion of Kanye West,” and the following year Ye went face-to-face with 50 Cent on Rolling Stone as the two rap titans prepared for their infamous album sales battle.
(AllHipHop News) Wu-Tang Clan’s U-God is releasing his new album Keynote Speaker today (July 23), but the Staten Island emcee also took the time to give his opinion on some other artists’ recent projects as well. When it comes to Kanye West’s 6th album Yeezus, U-God thinks the G.O.O.D. Music leader has traveled to far out into the galaxy.
“Tell him there’s no sound in space. He’s got to come back on planet Earth,” U-God tells The Huffington Post. “Space is a vacuum. There’s no sound in space. Earth is where it’s at. Come back down baby, come back.”
The 42-year-old rap veteran also had a few words for Roc Nation’s J. Cole. While he likes Cole’s music, he feels the Born Sinner performer should not be placing himself at the same level as Nas and Jay Z just yet.
“See, my whole thing is, with respect, dude’s got to earn that,” said U-God. “I don’t like it when dude’s just talking in the air, it’s like taking a gun out and shooting in the air. Naw, man. Just keep coming. Just keep making music until people bow down like that.”
U-God had more favorable things to say about J. Cole’s boss Jay Z’s latest album. He says Jay is in a “creative zone” and calls Magna Carta Holy Grail a transitional album to the digital age.
The Universal God also recognizes Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, and Drake as rappers that get his “blood boiling” with their talent.
“I don’t know why n##### frontin’ on Drake. He has rhymes, man. He’s getting it in. I’m not trying to be like him, but I’m not going to front on you, I like his style of music,” said U-God about the Young Money artist.
“It ain’t no fun if the homies can’t have none” just took on new meaning…
Take it for what its worth. Its coming from MediaTakeOut and they are reporting that Drake slept with Lil Wayne’s fiancee Dhea. I dunno. This sounds crazy to me, but we’ve been hearing rumors that something is going on between Drake and Wayne. Thus far, nothing has been confirmed and still hasn’t.
Here is the rumor:
Rumors are swirling that Drake has been TRYING FOR MONTHS – to seduce Lil Wayne’s fiance DHEA. And the streets say that he may have HIT!!!Here’s what we know. MediaTakeOut.com spoke with TWO INDEPENDENT SOURCES affiliated with Young Money. And BOTH tell us that Lil Wayne and Drake have had ISSUES WITH EACH OTHER for years. Lil Wayne’s issue with Drake is that he feels the young rapper is not “respectful” enough. And Drake’s issue with Lil Wayne is that he feels he’s giving up TOO MUCH money to the label, and to Wayne in particular.
But those are MINOR squabbles compared with what is being WHISPERED ABOUT among the TOP BRASS at the label. According to an insider, Drake reportedly had Lil Wayne’s fiance DHEA over at his Los Angeles home last week. And while no one know EXACTLY what went on . . . . Drake has supposedly had a CRUSH on the boss’ chick for Months. And the two were in Drake’s home alone. . . .
We’re told that Wayne just found out about this over the weekend. EXPECT FIREWORKS shortly . . .
This Is Not the first time Drake messed with One of Wayne’s girls. While Wayne was locked up, Drake messed with Lil Wayne’s then girlfriend/artist Shanell, and last year Drake admitted that he slept with the same girls that Lil Wayne was with.
I can’t really lend any credibility to this.

I thought this was over, but I guess not. I wonder what the status of the beef really is? The Game really doesn’t seem to be prone to beef like that. He’s mostly into instagraming his life away. On the other hand, 40 Glocc is making songs like “The Last 48,” where he goes back at The Game.
I was recently told that these dudes almost had a real life fight in the boxing ring, but they just couldn’t get the money together. Oddly, I heard it was The Game that wanted a really high sum to fight 40. But, the crazy thing is, this is after the fight where the Game had 40 in the bushes. But, remember 40 said that there was a gun pointed at him and he couldn’t get busy.
WELP. HERE IS IS.
They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry! -illseed.
(AllHipHop Interview) Music has been a part of Shawn Chrystopher’s life since his single mother, looking for something for her son to do after school, signed him up for middle school band. Shawn was introduced to a band director that taught him how to incorporate instrumentation into rap music, and the young trumpet player was set on a path to making Hip Hop a vital part of who he is.
Later on Chrystopher connected with another musical mentor who just happened to be one of the most celebrated composers in history. Grammy winning superproducer Timbaland took the rising rapper under his wing and as executive producer, helped Shawn craft his debut studio album The Lovestory LP set for release this week.
The 18-track project is a reflection of the rapper/producer’s Inglewood, California sphere of influence. Being 15 minutes away from Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and Compton put Chrystopher “at the center of it all.” As a result his music provides the varied point of view of a multi-instrumentalist, storyteller, beatmaker, and artisan who sees his voice as a powerful tool.
AllHipHop.com recently spoke with Shawn Chrystopher, and the 27-year-old emcee talked about his new album, his relationship with Timbaland, his fellow L.A. rap peers, the George Zimmerman verdict, and more.
AllHipHop.com: You’ve been making music for a while. How does it feel knowing you’re about to release your first official L.P.?
Shawn Chrystopher: It’s amazing. I could have done this year’s ago. I felt like if I sold music last year or some years ago I would been cheating the fans, because it wasn’t until the past two years that I’ve honestly knew who I was an artist. I didn’t know what I wanted to say, where I wanted to take people. Now I can honestly say you can spend $12 dollars on this, because it’s going to teach you something. So to be in a place to be able to drop my debut album it’s really a good feeling, because I’ve come full circle as an artist. This is Shawn Chrys. This is who I am.
Can you describe the conceptbehind The Lovestory LP?
It stems from other records that I’ve made. A lot of the records that stood out to my fans where the ones I wrote about my past relationships with women. I had a guy the other day tell me he was getting a tattoo of the lyrics from my song “The Reason” that I wrote about one of my exes. When I see things like that I see that’s what my voice is for. So I’m writing these records, using my voice to tell my story about my life in regards to love. Not just love towards women. I love my homies. I love my family. I love this art Hip Hop. Everything I love has a record on my album.
Timberland is executive producing the album. How did you first connect with Tim?
I was chilling at a friend’s house one day and somebody called my phone and was like, “Timberland is about to call you in 10 minutes.” I was like, “What?” It was out of nowhere. We got on the phone and we chopped it up for about an hour. He was like, “I want to put you in a position to change some kid’s life 15 years from now.” But I can’t change someone’s life 15 years from now if I’m signed to another artist. I had to stay independent. I couldn’t sign to somebody. He just signed on to help with my direction, help me pick which songs are the best ones, and how the album should flow from top to bottom. I learned so much from him. He’s a legend. At the end of the day I have to stand on my own two in order to change someone else’s life 15 years down the line.
What was it like working with him in the studio? Was it intimidating working with a musical legend?
The first few times I was ever in the studio with him I was just silent. I was actually less than a fly on the wall, because at least a fly on the wall moves around. I was literally in a corner silent. I just sat back and learned. One of the first times in the studio he asked me [for my opinion]. I was like, “yo Timberland is asking my opinion.” I just gave my honest opinion like, “I think you should change that, change this.” Just me being honest was the reason he continued to f*ck with me. So now, not that I don’t see him as a superstar because he is, but he’s also my friend. Just being able to call somebody a legend and a friend at the same time, somebody I watched for years is actually working on my project is an incredible feeling.
Were you around for the recording sessions of Justin Timberlake’s [The 20/20 Experience] or Jay Z’s [Magna Carta Holy Grail] albums?
When they were doing Jay’s I was mostly in L.A. recording my album. Justin recorded most of his stuff in Los Angeles so I was blessed to be a party to those sessions. It was amazing to see that. I told Justin when they dropped Justified, MTV did this “Making The Album” [special], and I recorded that s### and still got it on VHS. I told Justin I got that s### so he realized I’m not just saying “you dope” just cause I’m signed with Tim, but I’m saying you dope cause I truly believe that s###. So Justin started f*cking with me too. It was just a great vibe, a great atmosphere and you can tell by how dope the music is.
We know Tim worked on your album. Who else contributed?
I did a bunch of the production. I got some beats from my homeboy Cameron Wallace, a dope producer out of Houston. He actually produced [Beyonce’s] “Upgrade U” with Swizz Beatz. He did Yelawolf’s “Daddy’s Lambo.” He has two songs on Ciara’s new album [Ciara]. I also got my long time partner Zaire Koalo. Me and him been working on projects since 2008. But I would say I did about 60-70% of it.
What about guest features?
I got two features on the actual album and one more on the deluxe. The only two features I got are Dom Kennedy and Polyster The Saint. Both of them are from L.A., so that was important that my features are from Los Angeles. I also made sure that my features brought something to the album and not add them just because of their name. If people want to hear other rappers they can go buy their albums. This is my album. I’m telling my story, so most of the songs are just me. But the features I have on there help tell my story. I honestly feel like I have Dom Kennedy’s best verse on my album, and I’m going to feel like that forever.
What’s your take on the new generation Los Angeles rap acts?
It’s just a bunch of kids out here making their own rules. Years ago you had to be the hardest gangsta rapper if you were coming out of California. That’s what they told us to do. You had to wear loc shades, raider gear. In the early 2000’s when Def Jam was hitting there were no L.A. acts really doing it. I remember the only artist signed to Def Jam at that time was Jayo Felony. He wasn’t the best person to represent West Coast. He was like, “I still wanna rap this gangsta s###,” so they signed him. When the internet popped off and we were able to upload our own s### without having to go through A&R’s and execs, we created our own rules. Now you have a whole bunch of people that are tired of people thinking this is what L.A. really is, and now we’re showing you what L.A. really, really is. You got Odd Future. You got YG. You got me. You got Dom. You got TDE. None of us sound the same, and we all live literally less than 15 minutes from each other. So we’re able to show how diverse L.A. is. The feeling out here in L.A. is amazing.
You have song the “Blackandwhite” that touches on interracial dating. After the George Zimmerman verdict where do you see the state of race relations in the country right now?
It’s not our country. That’s just what it is. All we can do, honestly, is work hard and bring all that food and money back home to our families. When you’re standing in front of them judges, when you standing in front of them benches and they have to decide if they’re going to side with this black man or not, it’s usually not going to be on our side. That’s just what it is. I keep telling my people stay out of trouble, because no matter if you’re right or wrong, just being black is wrong in this country. The only type of black person that’s accepted is a rich black man. If you don’t got that dough, if you’re not Diddy or Jay Z, you don’t have five passports with your name on it, you gonna go to jail if it comes to that point. And it sucks.
I really watched that whole trial and was like, “damn, man this is really f*cked up.” I’m not even mad at the verdict, because the prosecution didn’t do everything they should have done to fight for this young man’s life. I couldn’t even fault the jury. I fault the prosecution, because I don’t think they fought as hard as they should have for this black boy. In a sense, why would they fight that hard? They’re not connected to our struggle enough to fight hard.
Are you interested in producing for other artists or taking on a greater role as a producer-for-hire?
I would definitely producer for other artists, but I wouldn’t do it just because of the money. I would only want to work with other artists who really care about this s### like I do. I care about music. It’s not just a means for me to eat, but I feel like I can change the world through my music and through my words. I would only want to work people who feel the same way. That could be stupid. That might not be the most lucrative way to look at it, but that’s just how I feel. I don’t want to lend my brand out to anybody just for money. I only want to work with artists who really care about this rap s### like I do.
You have The Lovestory LP dropping the 23rd. How do you plan to celebrate?
Mad bottles of champagne. Me with all my homeboys who’ve been here since day one. Have my music on loud in my crib, and just sit there and drink and toast to life. We weren’t suppose to be here. I wasn’t suppose to be a rapper who people from all over the world are waiting on their project. I didn’t have to be that guy. I could be dead. I could be in jail. I could be working a 9-to-5, because no one wanted to hear me out when I said I could rap, but I’m not. I’m able to record a song and the whole world listen to it and really f*ck with it. So God blessing me with that and with these great people I have around me, you can don’t nothing but toast to that. That’s all I’ll be doing, toasting to life. Champagne campaign.
Shawn Chrystopher’s The Lovestory LP will be available for digital download through Honour ROLE Music on Tuesday, July 23rd at iTunes.

AHHHHH! Nicki! I just cannot get sick of her! As soon as I get sick of her, she gives me another reason to love her. Here is the latest. And its 20 seconds of glory. But she is twerking that thing in the pool, but I love that she gives us a close up of her front-sets in the video too.
NICE. Despite the comparisons, she’s no Lil Kim.
Well…look again. It was so fast.
They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry! -illseed.
You know, rappers are getting…lets say, they are devolving. These rappers are not helping humanity or hip-hop carrying on the way they are. But, who am I? AHHHHH…nobody! As the story was told, the dude in the video was in a video of a pair of rappers purporting to be down with Soulja Boy. He was reportedly beat down for talking some form of sh*t about SB and the crew at a Motel 6 in Massachusetts. HUH? Massachusetts? OK, well…right, but Massachusetts? So, the whole thing plays out below.
Another person said he was pistol whipped. These dudes have officially caught a cause on behalf of SB or themselves. Jacorey Dejuan Bryant has likely at the time of this writing been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, robbery, and malicious damage and another man, Ira Rophiel Malcolm Jr., is supposedly going to be charged as well. They are both in jail right now.
Stop the violence, people. We have better things to do like fighting for Trayvon and making money.
They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry! -illseed.
(AllHipHop News) Jay-Z’s chart topping album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, is expected to perch itself atop the charts again this week, if projections are correct.
The Roc rapper will push somewhere between 115 and 125 his second week, placing him firmly ahead of Sara Bareilles debut.
Rapper Ace Hood dropped last week, but he’s predicted to hit about in the third position, pushing about 0-65k.
Last week, Jay sold over 500k and an additional million were purchaseed by Samsung.
The predictions come from music industry staple, Hits Daily Double.

There are a few loose matters going on the internets these days. Lets see…here they are.
ILLSEED’S QUICKIES
Janet Jackson and her billionaire hubby, Wissam Al Mana are rumored to be in a bit of trouble, because he allegedly fired a 29-year-old interior decorator. Why? Seems like she reported a rape. But, reports say she was formally fired for drinking alcohol and having underage sex. Also, she refused to have meaningful conversation about her employment status. reports say.
WHO GOT KO’D?
Remember Rich Dollaz, the dude from Love & Hip-Hop New York? Well, rumor has it, he was knocked out at a New York nightclub.
At least he got up fast!
FUTURE’S BABY MOMMA WOES
Future has been having his issues with child support, and it seems like they are going to continue. Future most recently asked that the courts determine what he has to pay in child support. The courts made a ruling but that was not to the satisfaction of his ex. She’s petitioned for it to be raised up. Why? She wants more money. She also claims he hasn’t paid anything since June…yeah….June as in last month.
RIRI DID WHAT?
Aww, man. This breaks my heart. I knew Rihanna is crazy, but this would make me quit. Rumor has it, Rihanna really needed some weed to get her by. She sent her assistant on a mission to get it. But, the assistant couldn’t score the damn weed. She came back and RiRi was so p##### that she kicked the assistant out of her room and made her sleep in hallway floor of the hotel. Now, that’s cray! I’d keep working for her if she let me smash though.

(AllHipHop News) Life imitates art in the most serendipitous ways at times, other times it helps add light irony on heavy topics such as a famed R&B singer being lost at sea. That is exactly happened with the “Survivor” singer, Kelly Rowland, was rescued after being stranded at sea for 12 hours.
Rowland and a half dozen others embarked on a whale watching expedition on Friday morning (July 19th) but soon encountered 5 foot waves, disorienting fog and got off course.
The captain of the boat became groggy due to the conditions, however Harbor Master triangulated the position of the boat to the Coast Guard after the boat carrying the “Sail On” singer was late on its return.
TowBoat U.S. captain Noah Santos rescued everyone and returned them to back around 11p.m. on Friday (July 19th). According to Santos everyone ” were just a little shaken up” but he later received a personal thank you from Kelly Rowland herself:
“I ran into her the next day while I was out at dinner with my wife and she bought us dinner. She told me I was her hero.”
No word yet from Kelly Rowland or her team regarding the incident.
Check out a photo of Kelly with her rescuer, Noah Santos:
