There was some talk and speculation about Jay-Z and Kanye West. Remember Kanye went on an apparent rant about Jay-Z and Timberlake?
RELATED: Hip-Hop Rumors: Is Kanye West Dissing Jay-Z, Beyonce, And Justin Timberlake?
And, suddenly there was this mythical friction between the two titans. Furthermore, there were rumors that Kanye was totally absentee from his gal Kim Kardashian. But, yesterday they all got together and did some parking lot pimpin’ or something. They linked up and the papz were there. But, its pretty apparent that there are no real issues. KimYe could still be something else, but who’s to say? Kanye is paying Big G’s to go to the doctor with Kim and they went shopping together in SOHO, NY yesterday. All is well, it would appear.

(AllHipHop) As the war on gun violence rages on and as we reflect on the Boston Marathon bombings, West Coast icon and Hip-Hop legend, Snoop Lion has decided to do his part to end the violence.
As part of Snoop’s ongoing reincarnation to Rastafarianism, Snoop has most recently taken his stance on gun violence and is urging the youth to put down their weapons.
Seeking to secure peace across the world and within Hip-Hop, today (April 22) The League of Young Voters Education Fund launched a grassroots non-violence campaign inspired by Snoop Lion aka Snoop Dogg’s song “No Guns Allowed” ft. Drake Cori B – Snoop’s daughter.
The initiative was derived from startling statistics recently acquired by the League of Young Voters that state that a child or teen dies or is injured from guns every 30 minutes in the United States.
The primary goal of the campaign with Snoop is to decrease violence by advocating for youth violence prevention programs and background checks on firearm purchases.
During a recent appearance on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight, Snoop explained how a rash of tragic school shootings motivated him to write “No Guns Allowed.”
“I wanted to make some music to try to help the next person who was thinking about loading a gun, going to a school and shooting. Maybe it would help him put that gun down and think about what he was doing before they [acted],” Snoop Lion told Morgan.
In an open letter to Snoop, which garnered national media attention from leading outlets, such as Politico and BET, Rob “Biko” Baker, Executive Director of the League of Young Voters Education Fund said “I am so inspired that you are using your platform to speak up about the nation’s violence issue. I want you to know that the League of Young Voters Education Fund is committed to spreading your anti-violence message to prevent future tragedies.”
The buzz surrounding the open letter caught Snoop’s attention and prompted him to respond publicly via his Twitter account, which quickly led to a meeting between the superstar and leaders from the League.
Snoop is now publicly aligning himself with the League of Young Voters Education Fund and their “No Guns Allowed” initiative.
“‘No Guns Allowed’ is a really important song to me,” Snoop Lion said. “I’m humbled that an organization like the League of Young Voters Education Fund supports what I’m saying in it and is taking action. Especially since they have been doing work for a long time to spread an anti-violence message in our communities.”
Spreading this peaceful message is exactly what the League is doing with the announcement of their “No GunsAllowed” campaign which will include:
● Opportunities for people to share personal stories about how they’ve been affected by gun violence
● An informative celebrity PSA series
● A live streaming round-table discussion with key influencers and other special events
The League’s “No Guns Allowed” PSA series will use the power of storytelling to heal communities and develop innovative ways to stop violence. The videos will inform viewers about issues related to gun violence and feature celebrities, political figures, grassroots organizers and community members sharing their thoughts and personal experiences related to gun violence.
As part of a widespread social media push launching today, League of Young Voters Education Fund is also asking people across the country to submit personal stories and photos via Tumblr and share messages using the hashtag #NoGunsAllowed on Twitter and Instagram, expressing how they’ve been affected by gun violence.
“No Guns Allowed” themed events, including interactive live streams, and a round-table discussion with celebrities, community activists and political figures, will also take place. The League has been producing non-violence events, such as their Put the Guns Down rallies, for more than 10 years.
“The League is excited and honored by Snoop’s support for our ‘No Guns Allowed’ campaign,” Baker said. “We’re looking forward to collaborating with him in the near future to reach even more people and bring some much-needed attention to the work we’ve been doing for some time to make urban communities safer.”
Join the No Guns Allowed movement now by taking a pledge against violence, signing a petition in support of universal background checks and violence prevention programs, submitting personal stories today about how you’ve been affected by gun violence, and sharing photos and messages using the #NoGunsAllowed hashtag.

(AllHipHop News) Lauryn Hill has had her trials and tribulations, but one of the biggest may be upon her.
Her sentencing on tax evasion charges was supposed to be today, but her fate was suspended. A judged postponed her case for two weeks, apparently to allow her to make the money in back taxes.
Ms. Hill owes the government $504,000 in back unpaid taxes and has paid $50,000 thus far. She faces up to 30 months in prison and has admitted guilt in the case.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Madeline Cox Arleo seemed annoyed of the effort Hill has mad so far.
“This is not someone who stands before the court penniless,” Arleo said in a report to Yahoo.com. “This is a criminal matter. Actions speak louder than words, and there has been no effort here to pay these taxes.”
Her lawyer said that the singer/rapper would be able to pay.
“I fully expect that by May 3 Ms. Hill will be able to pay back all the restitution she has,” Nathan Hochman said.
Hill is now slated for a May 6 day in court.
OHH SNAP!
Is Teyana Taylor still a virgin? She may be if this recent rumor about Chris Brown is true! The rumor suggests that TT all but gave up the chocha to Chris Breezy Brown and he said NAW. They were cool for a long time, but it seems like a ways back, she got too drunk to think. And her thoughts took over. When they did, she was so blown that she offered her body to CB. She also expressed her love for him too, the rumor says. But, what happened after is crazy. Seems like after turning her down, Brown and his people who were there too were pretty saddened. They were so sad that they left her alone and cancelled the room they were staying in. This caused for TT not to have any place to lay her now naked body. Security had to escort her out of the room, by putting a sheet around her. I’m not sure who was there but somehow she got to a friends car and was safe. Anyway…they are no longer friends.
BY THE WAY….
I been talking about this. Peep what I just a got from BallyHo PR:
(April 22, 2013, Atlanta, GA.) Reality TV star Sheree’ Whitfield’s participation in the recent episode of OWN’s ‘Iyanla Fix my Life’ was not at all what she expected. In like fashion to what rapper DMX experienced on his taping of the show, Sheree’ feels that she too was wooed under false pretenses. She agreed to be on the show based on the understanding that Iyanla would be addressing and helping her and her ex-husband Bob Whitfield, deal with co-parenting issues; unfortunately during the shoot, it was clear that what she was told would be the focus of the show was not.
“Since leaving the Housewives, I’ve been at a different place in my life, a place of healing and self-empowerment, so when Bob reached out to me about doing this show on co-parenting I was excited because I thought we were both on the same page and equally wanted to work towards mending our relationship so that we could more effectively co-parent, and even more importantly I thought it was an opportunity to inspire single parents in our situation,” says Sheree’ Whitfield. “However, once shooting began I felt misled because the line of questioning was centered more on accusations of my shortcomings as a wife versus how we can begin to resolve our issues.”
During the shoot and in communications afterwards, Sheree’ expressed her concerns and displeasure with the taping to Iyanla and the show’s producers and only agreed to continue for the sake of some sort of amicable resolution, which was never realized. “Although I was caught off guard by what felt like a very one-sided and judgmental approach to “therapy,” what I did take away from this experience is that I must continue to take responsibility for doing the work to be a better person. I am completely committed to making sure that I am a positive and healthy mother for my children and being a role model for the young women that I mentor,” says Whitfield.
Sheree’ is committed to empowering and inspiring single moms, divorced moms, and other women dealing with relationship and co-parenting issues. She is working on launching her own foundation which emphasizes the importance of emotional and physical wellness for all women. Sheree is also focusing on her own career and is excited about more opportunities in film and television with her cameo appearance in ‘Scary Movie 5’ being only the beginning.
She is currently seeking speaking engagements to speak with organizations, foundations, and women’s groups about her challenges and to share her insight on surviving her own struggles and rising above them.

Hip-Hip Rumors: YOWZA! New Rick Ross Lyric Will Upset Smart Women!
All the smart and pseudo intellectuals got mad at me! But, guess what!? I was right! Shout out to Tuskegee University for hosting Rocko at the school. But, you may have cause for concern, because they love those controversial Rick Ross lyrics.
THE WOMEN GOT LOUDER WHEN ROCKO PLAYED THE RAPE LYRICS ON “U. D. E. N. O.” LIVE AT THE CONCERT!
What do the feminist critics have to say now? Guess what? Smart men have said it over and over…women are going to have to put a stop to this stuff too! Guess what? Women buy the records, not men. So rappers are looking at you to make that cake. Hell, we didn’t wear Reebok either. Reebok may have lost listening to a few square, old white women. LOL!

Earlier this month (April 1st), the ONIFC rapper sued the concert promotion company after the company cancelled a show at George Mason University that they booked for Wiz at the last minute. According to the lawsuit, Wiz was promised $85,000 in addition to a percentage of the show’s profits.
It’s My Party responding by asserting that there was no contract drawn up for the performance and therefore they have no obligation to compensate the slighted rapper.
