Compton rapper The Game proved that Bow Wows bark was bigger than his bite, by outclassing his Madden rival to a decisive 55-23 victory this past Friday (September 5).
The lighthearted Konsole Kingz sponsored competition began with each man being introduced like professional boxers.
Setting the comical mood, the Game went as far to don a football helmet and gum shield as he made his way to the gaming area.
Bow Wow picked the Cincinnati Bengals, while Game retained the New England Patriots. On random weather selection, the game picked snow conditions.
On the first play, Bow Wow attempted to execute a trick that allows the ball to be snapped to any player on the field.
Aware of such tactics, The Game secured an immediate hit for a fumble and turnover.
On offense, Game promptly scored on the third play of his drive with a play action TD pass.
The Game continued the assault and amassed a 21-0 lead by the end of the first quarter.
Bow Wows former mentor Jermaine Dupri attempted to assist in strategy during the second half, but expressed the task was hopeless, since Bow Wow picked a listless Cincinnati Bengals to match up with the powerhouse New England Patriots.
As the drubbing got worse in the third quarter to the tune of 42-7, Bow Wow accused Game of foul play in using an unconfirmed fumble glitch.
This n*gga knows how to make me fumble! Bow Wow protested to anyone that would listen. This n***a cheated! Hes had a million fumbles. He knows how to make me fumble. Thats bulls**t.
Yeah, n***a its in the book, Game retorted. Its called hitting n***as!
After the lopsided victory, Game reflected on Bow Wows ability as a player on a 10 point scale.
Negative eight. We gotta find someone smaller for Bow Wow to play, maybe Mini Me. I dropped 55 on him as a tribute to [Patroits player] Willie McGinest, Game joked. I heard D-Wade been talking a lot of trash. Im ready for him and anyone after him.
As the victor, Game will donate the $100,000 grand prize to the charity of his choice.
Its been a minute since we got a hot track from Ciara. Her newest single Go Girl featuring T-Pain is something most of her fans are going to appreciate. It’s definitely radio friendly, and I actually think it’s one of those joints youll never grow tired of hearing. I will admit the song makes you want to bob your head and turn it up, but overall I think it’s missing a certain something that makes it pop since it is a first single. In consulting with some of my peers regarding the song, I got some mixed reviews. Some feel that Ciara is merely following the trend hooking up with T-Pain, others say the song sounds like an album track, while the rest feel her use of the Auto-tune wasnt a good idea. Well for all the naysayers, I got one thing to say to you – Check out the October cover of VIBE! You might not be feeling this track, but I bet once you see Ci Ci on the cover, youll be hollering GO GIRL! Ciara is back, and this only marks the beginning of her return. Until next week, yall enjoy this weeks Sunday Selection Go GirlGo Girl feat T-Pain – CiaraPoll Answers

Flint, Michigan rapper MC Breed is in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital in Atlanta, where he is on life support due to kidney failure, AllHipHop.com has confirmed.
His manager, Darryl Morris, said the rapper, born Eric Breed, was playing a game of pickup basketball yesterday evening (September 5) in Atlanta, when he collapsed and fell unconscious.
He had to be revived three times, Morris told AllHipHop.com. He had to be rushed to the hospital where they diagnosed him and told him his kidneys have failed.
Now, MC Breed, 36, is in serious need of a kidney transplant and is seeking a donor to help save his life.
Morris told AllHipHop.com that a number of rappers are being contacted to participate in a benefit concert for the revered rapper, which will take place in his hometown of Michigan.
We are hoping we can find Breed a kidney through this process, before its too late, Morris told AllHipHop.com.
MC Breed became a fixture in Hip-Hop after he released his hit single Aint No Future in Yo Frontin, as MC Breed & DFC in 1991, on the independent Atlanta based label, Ichiban Records.
The success of that single led to a meeting with rap legend the D.O.C. around 1992 in Saint Louis and an entrance into West coasts inner Hip-Hop circle at the time – Suge Knight, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Richie Rich, Yo-Yo, Coolio, The Dogg Pound, Too $hort and others.
Another chance meeting with Tupac Shakur at a Los Angeles tattoo parlor led MC Breed to record the Gold selling hit single Gotta Get Mines in 1993.
Throughout the years, MC Breed released material consistently, producing a total of 15 album, mostly on independent labels. He also recorded with a number of rappers, including MC Eiht, Jazze Pha, George Clinton, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Rappin 4Tay, E40, to name a few.
The rapper ran afoul of the law in May of 2006, when he was sentenced to a year in prison for failing to pay almost $200,000 in back child support.
He was rearrested in April 2008, again for failing to pay back child support totaling over $220,000.
MC Breed was preparing to release an album titled Original Breed featuring Too $hort, as well as a DVD about his life titled Where is MC Breed, which showcases rare footage, while chronicling his 17-year-journey as an artist.

HSAN co-founders Russell Simmons and Dr. Benjamin Chavis are set to meet with representatives from the Genworth Financial, the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals to devise a new initiative that will work hand-in-hand with the HSAN Home Ownership Advisory Council.
The program will first seek to attack the continuing record-breaking foreclosures around the country, which, according to the Center for Responsible Lending, soared 75 percent in 2007, costing African Americans more than $92 billion.
Economic forecasters say that if the foreclosure trends do not slow down, African Americans and Latinos across the country could lose more than $200 billion.
The HSAN will also use this initiative to create ways to increase home ownership opportunities for young Americans.

The collection was assembled by specialist Alia Varsano and Minya Oh, who penned the 2005 coffee table book Bling Bling: Hip-Hops Crown Jewels.
Included are Biz Markies Diamond Headphones Pendant, MC Lytes Nefertiti Ring and Necklace, Slick Ricks Multicolor Diamond Eye Patch, Tupac Shakurs Diamond and Ruby Crown Ring, Biggie Smalls Unique Wristwatch, and Lil Jons Guinnes World Record Diamond Crunk Aint Dead pendant.

Its hard to be a person of color in the United States.
Some of you will find the above statement incredibly banal. I know I do. To me, saying that racism is still alive is just like saying that the sky is blue or that water is wet. But like stating that George W. Bush lied us into the Iraq War even the most banal statements are true and they need to be repeated at the top of your lungs from the highest mountain.
Its hard to be a person of color in the United States.
What makes it hard? Obviously racism comes in different forms, from violence to silent discrimination. It can come in a cold stare, in an off the cuff joke, or in just a word, but fundamentally what it all boils down to is respect. Jesus Christ once summed up inter-personal relations by saying, Do unto others what you would have them do unto you. Just show people the same respect youd like and everything will be all good. Yet in America we still have a deep seated disrespect towards people of color that pervades everything. Usually this disrespect is under the table, hidden from the rest of the world, in the backrooms, the smoke filled dens, but occasionally it works its way to the light. And when it does it seems to find itself under the spotlight of the Republican Party.
A disclaimer before I begin: Am I saying that Democrats arent racist? No. Am I saying that racism doesnt present itself in more virulent forms in groups other than the GOP? No. But, of the so-called mainstream political parties in America today, there is a swiftly amassing collection of evidence that the Republicans are a party of, to put it lightly, racist tendencies that are unabashed and proud.
The GOP claims to be the party of Lincoln, hiding under the Emancipators coattails every time they want to flash their civil rights credentials, but since LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act it seems that the worst elements of prejudice have fled to the Republicans who welcomed them with open arms. No more the party of Lincoln, the GOP is the party of Strom Thurmond, who ran for president on a platform of racial segregation, and Trent Lott, who on Thurmonds one hundredth birthday said that America would be a better place if Thurmond had of been elected. The GOP is the party of Jesse Helms, who after dying months ago was regaled by the GOP as a bastion of the party. This was a man who was a raging homophobe and racist. This is party that called poor black mothers Welfare Queens, and who used fear of black males to win elections.
And all this brings us to the 2008 Republican National Convention, which should now and forever be known as the 2008 Republican Disrespect Convention. What was on parade in the last three days was some of the vilest and most insulting rhetoric ever seen on the national political stage. Time and time again Obama was dragged through the mud of condensation and sarcasm. When they werent calling him uppity they were attacking him as an elitist and when they werent saying he lacked experience they claimed what experience he had didnt matter. According to Sarah Palin, I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a community organizer, except that you have actual responsibilities. According to Rudy Giuliani, Obamas biography should be mocked as he sneered in the tone reserved for Don King, Only in America.
Now compare that to the Democratic Convention. Sure there were some red meat attacks. Sure they tied McCain to Bush, and yes they even made fun of the fact that McCain didnt know how many houses he had. But when they spoke of McCains character they praised him for his service to America and his time as a POW, even when liberals said to keep their traps shut about it. They showed decency and, more importantly, respect. Yet is seems that the entire Republican party is incapable of showing Obama even a modicum of value and I cant help thinking that much of this, if not all, is fueled by racism.
Its not to say that McCain has much of a choice at this point. The Titanic had more hope than the GOP at this moment (hey, at least the ship had lifeboats). Hes got to swing for the rafters and hope that he can tear down Obama enough to get ahead, but in this case he cant see the forest for the trees, and to win an election hes ready to alienate every person of color in this country to motivate his base, and I think we know who they are.
But I have a sense, and its only a feeling, that this time it wont work. This time the character of the candidates, their intelligence, and their visions are just so unbalanced that the choice is becoming more and more obvious. I have a feeling that after eight years of the most incompetent, ignorant and downright delusional leadership in American history, people are fed up with the same old s###, and Lord knows, racism is the epitome of the same old s###. And finally I dont think it will work because their complete disrespect for Obama flies in the face of truth. Recently I saw a press conference with Paul Azinger, whos leading the Ryder Cup for America this year. When asked about the absence of Tiger Woods from his roster he said, and I paraphrase slightly, Its going to be hard not to have what is disputably the best player on Earth on your wait, I mean its hard not to have the best player on Earth today, disputably the best player ever My father once told me that youre not given respect; you earn respect through your achievements. What Azinger admitted was not given to Tiger willingly; it was earned through Tigers championships and his play, and in his respect for that, we respect Azinger for speaking the truth. Respect gains respect. So when the GOP dismisses Obamas accomplishments we dismiss them.
As a black man in America Im disgusted with the GOP. Their disrespect of Obama is a direct diss to me, to my family and to my people who have struggled under unfathomable oppression to get to where we are now. John McCain, you want us to respect and admire your years as a POW? Well then you better start respecting and admiring the people of color who existed generations under the terror and torture of white oppression. Respect gains respect Senator and you have given me none.

Hip-Hop power broker Steve “The Comissioner” Stoute is set to receive his highest award achievement on November 18, as the accomplished executive will be honored and inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s Advertising Hall of Fame.
The prestigious award is decided by the American Advertising Federation, the senior and most esteemed organization in the advertising industry.
“Getting accepted into the advertising hall is something that I proudly accept on behalf of the entire Hip-Hop community,” Stoute told AllHipHop.com. “This will open up doors for diversity in general market advertising which the industry definitely needs.”
Stoute is the co-founder of Translation, a joint advertising firm he runs with fellow mogul and rapper, Jay-Z.
The company’s focus is partnering music stars with corporate brands as spokespersons.
To date, the company has brokered deals with Beyonce (Tommy Hilfiger), Chris Brown (Double Mint Gum), Justin Timberlake (McDonalds), Gwen Stefani (Hewlett-Packard), and Jadakiss (Reebok).
Stoute’s recognition as a Hip-Hop representative will set a precedent, since the award has historically been reserved for major executives of Fortune 500 companies.
Acutely aware of this, Stoute expects to see many ambitious minorities follow in his footsteps.
“Hopefully young, talented African-Americans and Latinos with ideas and creativity will look at this accomplishment and become inspired to get into the communication industry,” he states.
Steve Stoute is well known as the former manager of Queens lyricist Nas, assisting in crafting the rapper’s image for It Was Written (1996) and 1997’s supergroup project The Firm: The Album.
Recently, Stoute partnered with Mary J. Blige to create the Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN), an organization focused on the upliftment of women.

West Coast rap star The Game and fellow rapper Bow Wow will finally see who the better video gamer is as they prepare to go head to head in a game of Madden NFL 09.
The meeting is scheduled to take place tonight [September 5] from 6 to 8 p.m. at a secret location.
The showdown comes weeks after Bow Wow issued a one on one challenge for $100,000 to the Game in August, in response to claims the Compton lyricists made on konsolekingz.com about being the top Madden player in the world.
The pairs rivalry resulted in a series of online videos that featured the rappers taking shots at one another, while hyping their skills.
For Bow Wow, the match up couldnt come any sooner.
“I can’t wait to play! I’ve been waiting, Games been waiting, the video game worlds been waiting, Bow Wow told AllHipHop.com in a statement. The only bad thing is Games fans are gonna have to see him lose! Ima play with the Bengals, Ohio all day, gotta represent for the state! Like Michael Buffer says — lets get ready to rumble!”
Despite Bow Wows boasts, the Game is confident he will come out on top.
“Bow Wow has no idea what hes started,” The Game retorted. “Hes in way over his head .I will remain the undisputed Madden king.”
The Game/Bow Wow showdown will mirror a highly-anticipated boxing match as the rappers kick off the event with a weigh-in ceremony, before engaging each other on Xbox 360.
The contest will act as the first of many celebrity battle planned by Hip-Hop gaming company Konsole Kingz.
Whats good, everyone? Nothing
much to say about this week aside from John McCain making this years
Presidential election even more historic with his running mate Sarah Palin
being the first woman Vice Presidential candidate since Geraldine Ferraro to make
run for the White House and Hurricane Gustav sparing a Katrina-like repeat on
New Orleans as tropical storms Hanna, Ike and Josephine create a trio of
potential disasters for the rest of the country.
Shout to the sounding boards for
pushing me into a memory or two while taking in the nightlife.
And with that, it is with profound
gratitude and great humility, I accept your nomination for…the Last Word for
the week ending Sept. 5, 2008.
1. Usher Plans a Night for the
Ladies
For many singers, performing in
front of a packed house of fans is one of the things that makes being famous
worthwhile. Which is why Usher is going the extra mile for his female
supporters with his One Night Stand tour. Although specific dates are still
being hammered out for about 15 intimate venues, the crooner is confident
that the ladies will have a lasting memory.
There’s only a few artists that
can pull that off, Usher told the Associated Press. I feel like I’ve had such a connection with my audience.
This album I felt was definitely the type of one that was more intimate. So
what better way to get up close and personal than to make it all women?
And as his latest release, Here
I Stand, showcases the player vibe of the
past and the mature mindstate of the present, Ushers knows his fans. The
ladies like to see that masculine build, said the singer. They question if I
still got it.
Good question. Musically, I think
Usher still has it. But with Chris Brown, Ne-Yo and the ever-present Justin
Timberlake, its probably a challenge to keep that crown. Ladies night may be
cool, but Ursh may want to bring everybody on board to hold on to the belt.
2. R. Kelly Tour Promoters Pay
Ne-Yo
In the latest episode of Case
Magnet: The R. Kelly Chronicles, our hero
once again finds himself at the mercy of the courts as fellow R&B hitmaker
Ne-Yo literally gets his payback with a $700,000 judgment in his favor from a
Los Angeles Superior Court judge.
The ruling is the aftermath of
drama surrounding Ne-Yos appearance on R. Kellys tour last year. After the
young crooner was dropped from the outing after two shows, a war of words
emerged as Ne-Yo maintained he was let go because he garnered a better response
from crowds, while Kellys people cited contract related issues. Nevertheless,
Ne-Yo ended up suing the tours promoter Row Entertainment Inc.
Billboard reports that Los Angeles Superior Court judge Malcolm
Mackey ordered the company to pay Ne-Yo and his touring company $700,320.
Score one for Ne-Yo. Maybe this
tired beef between him and Kells can die quietly. One case down; an infinite
number to go for Kells. Like I said last week, the Pied Piper and courts go
hand in hand like Batman and the Joker. Somebody get me when entertainers keep
their money in their pockets, not in the college fund of their lawyers
children.
3. Kim Kardashian Considers A
Career in Song
Within the last few years, Kim
Kardashian has become a topic of conversation among folk. If it isnt about
that infamous sex tape with Ray J, then its regarding her infamous backside
(notice a common word there?).
Now, Kardashian may add another
side to the talk with the revelation of a possible singing career. And if
youre wondering who would top Kims list of collaborators, say no more.
I’d say a little bit Michael
Jackson in there, the reality show starlet shared Wednesday (Sept. 3) with
Hyla on the Yo on E! satellite radio
show. I would love to work with, like, Timbaland as a producer and maybe
Justin Timberlake.
Sounds interesting, ha? Whether or
not we hear the song stylings of Kardashian remains to be seen. The celebutante
is currently focused on doing her best as one of the new cast members for the
new season of Dancing With the Stars.
As a result, the she says that,
There’s nothing in the works now, as far as possible music projects music
projects go. I guess Ill have to wait a little longer for Kims long awaited
sing-a-long remakes of Sir Mix-a-Lots Baby Got Back and Trinas Pull Over.
Stay tuned. If Paris can make a song and get a bit of airplay, then Kim can
probably do the same. Makes you truly wonder
4. Akons Smackdown Goes to
Trial
Looks like Akons audition for the
WWE is being revisited in court.
According to media sources, the
35-year-old hit machine will go to trial on charges he tossed a fan offstage
during a concert last year.
Akon is accused of tossing a
teenager off stage during the June 2007 concert at a minor league baseball
stadium near Poughkeepsie. The singer made a brief appearance in court with his
lawyer on Wednesday (Sept. 3) as he asked for a jury trial. Akon pleaded not
guilty in December to misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a minor
and second-degree harassment, a violation.
He is set to reappear in back in
court for trial Dec. 1 unless a deal is reached.
We are pleased that Judge Epstein
adjourned the case to a date certain for either a trial or a negotiated
resolution, Akons attorney Andrea Zellan said in a prepared statement. Akon
looks forward to putting this incident behind him, and in the meantime he will
continue to meet every requirement set forth by the court.
In the meantime, I wouldnt be
surprised to find Akon making a surprise appearance on WWE Smackdown. If he can
toss a fan off stage with ease, what do you think hell do to Triple H? Can you
smell what the Kon is cookin?…maybe not.
5. VIBE Magazine Responds to
Robin Thickes Racism Claims
More than a week after Robin
Thicke claimed race played a role in him not getting the cover of VIBE magazine, the publications editor-in-chief is speaking
out on the controversy.
According to reports, Thicke was
interview by VIBE earlier this summer
in support of his forthcoming album Something Else. As the interview went along, the singer reportedly asked
why he couldnt be on the cover of VIBE.
The magazines response was
We don’t put white artists on our
covers.
Needless to say, Thicke was
disappointed with VIBEs reaction as he
expressed his love for the publication. If there’s one magazine that I’d want
to be on the cover of, it’s VIBE, he
told Billboard. The only white artist
they’ve had on the cover was Eminem. I guess if that’s what it is, it is what
it is.
And with that comes VIBE editor-in-chief Danyel Smith, who issued her reaction to
the drama in a statement. We have a great deal of respect for Robin Thicke and
his music, and we remain flattered by his desire to be on a VIBE cover. A VIBE
cover is a huge milestone in any artist’s career recent cover stars include
Young Jeezy, Mariah Carey, 50 Cent, Usher, Senator Barack Obama, Eminem, Lil
Wayne, and Robert De Niro, to say nothing of our 15-year history. We wish
Thicke the best, and we’re glad he discusses his thoughts on race and R&B
in the new October 2008 issue of VIBE.
So whos at fault in this? Or is
there anybody at fault at all? With a Black man running for president, the race
card will be front and center in a lot of different ways, but this is a
different spin on the whole thing in itself. So the question is does Mr. Thicke
with all the soul and good music hes put out in the last few years
deserve to join Em as one of the only white artists to make the VIBE cover or should he stick with just being featured in the
mag?
What say you?
In Other Words…
* Two-time Grammy nominated
songstress Ledisi is bringing her voice to the theater as she stars in the Lynn
Ahrens-Stephen Flaherty musical, Once on This Island. The Billy Porter-directed play premiered Wednesday (Sept.
3) and will run through Sept. 14 at UCLA’s Freud Playhouse.
* Popular gospel music duo Mary
Mary will release The Sound, their
first new studio album in years. The Columbia Records release, which features
the pop-infused praise and empowerment lead single Get Up, is slated to hit
stores Oct. 14.
* Add Christina Aguilera to the
list of celebrities hawking their own fragrance. The diva has launched a new
fragrance, Inspire, and reveals that the scent a natural extension of herself. I
love makeup. I love playing around with different styles of hair, different
elements of beauty, Xtina told USA Today.
I love fragrance. I actually collect perfume bottles. I thought it would be
really fun to create a fragrance, from the bottle design to the actual scent.
* Mel B is getting a little
animated for a new Virgin Media ad. The former Spice Girl sports her trademark
leopard print catsuit in the animated commercial, which will be shown on movie
screens. I’m over the moon with my animated alter ego and the advert really
made me giggle. It’s definitely fresh and original, Mel B said about the ad,
which is for Virgin Media’s Movies On Demand service.
* Britney Spears continues to be a
force. Despite a disastrous performance at last years MTV VMAs, the singer is
opening the show again (although shes not performing). Now Shaggy wants a piece
of Brit, as he expressed a desire to collaborate with the pop diva.
Imagine Britney Spears doing a
hardcore dancehall record, have her doing the Dutty Wine (legendary dancehall
song), the reggae star told WENN, adding that he would love to take Spears out
of her comfort zone and introduce to her the reggae scene.
I don’t know about this. Britney
doing reggae could be the same as Kellie Pickler doing rap music. Somehow, the
two just don’t mix.
Ending months of legal wrangling, controversial politician Kwame Kilpatrick stepped down as mayor of Detroit yesterday (September 4) after pleading guilty to two counts of obstruction of justice.
The plea ends Kilpatricks fight to retain his political seat despite a highly publicized sex scandal with his chief of staff Christine Beatty, which resulted in over 10 counts of perjury charges and misappropriation of city funds.
Under the agreement, Kilpatrick will serve two four month concurrent jail sentences and pay the city of Detroit $1 million over a five year period.
Also, Kilpatrick, 38, will be barred from running for political office over his five year probation period, lose his law license, and forfeit his pension.
Following sentencing on October 28, Kilpatrick will immediately begin serving his prison term.
Once affectionately dubbed Detroits first Hip-Hop Mayor due to his flashy appearance, youth, and lavish spending, the guilty plea ends Kilpatricks run as Detroits youngest mayor.
Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm suspended a hearing earlier this week to complete Kilpatricks removal from office.
Today this sad but historic story is coming to an end. Its very important for us as a state and as a city to turn this page together, Granholm told the Associated Press. There is much word to do. It is my profound hope that we can now write a new history of this great but embattled city and that citizens of Detroit can begin the healing process to move forward.
Upon completion of Kwame Kilpatricks resignation, his seat will be assumed by Kenneth Cockrel, Jr.

SOULJA BOY IS IN THE CLEAR
I don’t know who did it, but somebody emailed me and said they saw the video and it is definitely not Soulja Boy. I knew the lil’ homey wasn’t going to go out like that. I mean, if he was gay, he would be gay, but he’s NOT gay. So, that’s that. somebody else, I know, actually discovered the image that was eventually photoshopped into the imagery at hand. Shout out to S-DOT-BOY.
YUNG BERG IS PREPARING COMEBACK!
I dont know what Yung Berg has prepared but I heard he is making some plans. Here is what I am getting from the Chi. First, I hear he is getting himself together after that unfortunate day in Detroit. Anyway, I am hearing Berg is rebuilding burnt bridges. HE is reaching out to certain people that he has been beefing with and ending these beefs, thats what I heard. I am hearing these people includes Brisco, Bugsy, and Stephen Hill (he had beef with Hill?). I heard he has some sort of big record for his comeback. I think his album is out so that means this is a loosie for the streets. Also, I heard that Bow Wow doesnt have the Transformer chain and there is little hope to get that back. I did hear that Bow Wow and dude are going to be doing a record together. You live and you learn.
Lastly, I hear that Transformer chain was insured and hes going to have another big piece of ice real soon. Maybe you live and dont learn?
USHER AND TOMEKA SEPARATED? NEW BABY?
I knew when he started making lingerie and undergarments for men, something was up. Then came the tour just for females. Usher has reportedly separated from Tameka Foster, his lovely and doting wife. Um. Did I miss something though? They are saying that she is going to have his second kid in December. I had no idea. Also, last night Usher helped open up the NFL season. Thats thats what up, Ursh! He had to do something to get his swagger back!
AKON PUNCHES FAN?
I’m not a hater of anybody, not Yung Berg, not Bugsy…nobody. For a while, Bow Wow was not the homey, but pretty much, I’m cool. So, I say this warmly. They are accusing Akon of punching a fan that was trying to help him get out of the crowd from crowd surfing. See the video.
Ask Bow Wow. I will cut somebody if they try to diss Will Smith! Thats the big homey! I hear some crackpot Anti-Scientology Group decides they are going to picket the school founded by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett. HATERS! I didnt even know he was fully, 100% confirmed as a Scientologist. Isaac Hayes was one, but nobody is hating on him. So why bother Will? The boycotters held up signs that said, Scientology disconnects families and What church stalks critics? Scientology. Kids were even protesting! On the real side, I dont know much about Scientology. I just like Wills movies. I dont think I would have my seeds in his school.
COUPLE ALERT: BOW WOW AND SUPERHEAD!
Bow Wow and Superhead? I heard they have been seen cavorting. Now, you would think after all the dudes she has messed up (or who messed themselves up), people would learn. Rumor has it she was seen in the Bow Wow manor in Atlanta and that was quite a few times. I dont know. Good luck? Good suck?
ILLSEED’S QUICKIES
After watching the RNC, I am so scared of what’s to come – the evil is right around the corner. And 50 Cent has battle scars so, is he eligible for president too?
For all you girls, Bow Wow is reportedly going to be doing a sex scene on “Entourage.” I heard he was very nervous about it.
Shout out to Stevie Wonder! The legend will receive a a U.S. government honor for a lifetime of contributions to popular music. The award is called the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song.
Gov. Palin has denied having extramarital affair with her husband’s business partner. Crazy! This isn’t fair at all.
Johnny Depp is expected to play the The Riddler in the next Batman movie! Now, they just need Angelina as Catwoman and were a go.
Michael Vick might use the United Football League as a halfway house when he gets out in July 2009. Insiders are saying he is going to need to transition back into the NFL.
My girl Kendra G and DJ Touchtone’ from Philly The Beat talked to Ciara and she said that she is not dating right now. Supposedly, Ciara claims her career takes so much of her focus she doesn’t have time for 50 Cent or Bow Wow! (I added those last two names.)
Don’t know if anybody cares, but…I heard some D-Block members (Bully and Large Amounts) got into a huge fight. I heard it didn’t come out well either.
I heard Jay-Z was in the New York 40/40 Club last week, just chilling.
An underground artist is hopping mad at Kia Shine. He says he paid the rapper for a feature on his CD and never got the appearance. Now, the underground rapper is planning to “expose” Kia Shine.
Uh OH! Jesse Jackson has checked into a hospital for severe gastric distress. Sounds like he just needs a good fart.
SIGNS THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END
An Ohio woman kills her 28-day old baby by placing the child in a microwave and cooks Well, the woman was convicted after the babys DNA was found in the microwave. The only thing is, she isnt going to be put to death. The jury was unable to agree on a suitable punishment. Life in jail is actually a harsher penalty for somebody that has slain his or her child. Thats a life of suffering. She was 28 when she slayed her 28-day old. I wouldnt want to be her, but she has reportedly found a lesbian lover in jail so maybe a lethal injection is more appropriate.
R.I.P. Paris Talley.
BILL CLINTON GETS COLD DISSED?
Who the devil thinks they can diss Bill for a kiss? This is a classic video.

SHELZ – THE MILLENNIUM RUMORS
You Will Respect Matthew Knowles’ Gangsta
Papa K, father of Mrs. Jigga and the other one, called up KRBE in Houston because he heard through the grapevine that one of the morning personalities called his youngest a “B.” I totally expected the morning crew to back down and hand Mr. Knowles an insincere apology, but hell no. The morning personality, Special K, admitted he called Miss Solange a “B” and then went on to pretty much call her an untalented coat tail rider whose song had already been shot down by the city of Houston. He also suggested that he was going to get his Mom to come up to the station to plead his case since Solange sicked her father on him. Mr. Knowles attempted to stand up for his baby girl, but when that didn’t work he said something about having a bomb in his car, told Special K he knew he lived in Houston and that they would soon meet.
Number One With a Bullet
Or you may know it under its working title, Who Shot Ya? This documentary will be premiered next week at the Urban World Film Festival in New York. Jim Dziura, Filmmaker, allows the viewers to take a realistic look at an element of street cred as the subject emcees tell the story of the moment they were shot. There are also other members of the Hip Hop community, including Mos Def and Ice Cube, who go in on guns and their presence in the hood. Looks like something we should all see. Check the trailer.
Alrighty Folks I’m Outta Here! FRIDAY!
LADY DRAMA TAKES US INTO THE WEEKEND!
More info on Kanyes 4th LP….So we’ve all been hearing reports about Kanye’s fourth album and upcoming project, well it seems we have more confirmation on the album and a release month to look forward to! According to MTV UK Kanye will be releasing an album as early as December and a new single ‘Love LockDown’ should be available for download on on Sept 8th. Although Kanye wasn’t expected to release an album in 2008, after his much acclaimed Graduation it seems almost necessary! Good look Kanye a chain of fatburgers and a new LP sounds like a great combo to me! I can’t hat on ya plus I love me some Ye 😉 Juelz says “F yall I aint get robbed”… Speaks on the London RobberySo we all know Juelz Santana was supposedly robbed in London by some goons for 70K. According to Juelz he wasn’t robbed and he has the jewelry to prove it! Check him pimp out his youtube stardom below: Whats up with rappers getting jacked lately? Maybe this will be a huge slice of humble pie for these m###’s to swallow! J Hud was spotted on the streets of NY en route to the grand opening of some boutique! Is it me or does she always look overly stuffed like breathing isn’t an option! [Illseed note: hate!]moving on up…….Author Michael Eric Dyson writes book on Nas’ lyrics… InterestingFamed Author Michael Eric Dyson has a new book entitled “Born to Use Mics: Reading Nas’s Illmatic” on January 12th, 2009. The book which will mark Dysons 17th published work will go into detail about Nas’ lyrics within his Illmatic cd. Dyson told AHH that, “Every song on Illmatic will be analyzed, interpreted and then re-articulated in a kind of intellectual sense from his own base in Hip Hop and we’re trying to deal with that seriously,“Very insightful, the book will be bringing in insights from different people on the effects of Nas’ insightful and controversial lyrics from his famed Illmatic LP! Sounds like a good read to me. Lady Drama’s Food For Thought: Word on the street is Usher and his wife are separated and she’s expecting AGAIN! Yeah I know we heard it all before but… It does cause you to wonder how long a marriage would last between a dude who calls underwear”men’s undergarments.” If Bow Wow and his feminine tendencies can bag superhead.. it’s pretty much fair game now huh? But who would want any type of game with that? Seeing how 50 and Ciara are supposed to come out about their relationship at the VMA’s I wonder how he feels about his piece slathered all over Vibe Mag with less clothes on than a newborn baby fresh out the womb! TGIF go hard or go to a bar and get twisted on someone’s happy hour! Hell it’s drink thirty somewhere people!
